Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's three things with tip on kiss.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
When I was seven one, Joe Biden told Cincinnatians, We're
going to fix that damn bridge, and four months later
he signed the bi partisan Infrastructure Law. It gave our
city the biggest infrastructure investment in history.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Good morning, it is the twenty second of August. We
know that man's voice. That was Mayor aftab And making
an appearance at the DNC last night talking about what
is what we're most like infamously known for right now
the brin spens Bridge, outside of our food and our
sports and such, et cetera. He was joined on stage
by several others, which we'll get you kind of later
on in the show. Mindy Kalin brought up Ben Affleck.

(00:47):
I'll save that for later, but it was a big
night there. Also big night as like taking it to
sports here in Cincy. It's going to be beautiful for
our final preseason game. A very busy down at Greater
a Mayor and Ballpark as well, because they've got the
Green Day Show and then our final preseason game right

(01:08):
at the same time on both sides of the banks.
Not something we're you know, unfamiliar with We've done that many, many.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Many at times.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
But just know that it'll be extremely busy down there today. Second,
and three things you need to know this morning. At
long time Reds love and legend Joey Vado retired yesterday officially.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
That's it. I'm done.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
I am officially retired from baseball. That's it.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Man said goodbye after being a legend here in Sinsey,
and I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
To get back to Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I miss y'all.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
There's no crying in baseball.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
I will just miss that man. I hope that he
still remains active on social media. He was playing for Buffalo,
trying to make his way up to Toronto to play
for you know, the country he's from, but didn't work
out for him. In fact, the Reds ended up taking
the w against Toronto last night, so kind of a
sweet moment altogether.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
All right.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Finally, in three things you need to know, let's address
Taylor Swift. She addressed us for the first time since
the Vienna incident. You know, she had gone on in
a lengthy Instagram post to say that she had stayed
silent for a reason. In cases like this, one silence
is actually showing restraint and waiting to express yourself at
a time when it is right to My priority was
finishing our European tour safely, and it is with grief

(02:29):
and relief that I can say that we did that,
essentially saying right now we're grieving concerts rather than people.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
And I thought that was really well said. All right,
that is three.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Things you need to know over the twenty second of
August coming up in our seven o'clock hour, your best
roommate or neighbor stories. At seven twenty fifth in the.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Morning, they did what it's time to move out? On
kiss what o seven to one?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
I haven't found a store yet in this that I
don't love. There's always always something good that comes out
of your neighbor and her roommate stories. It depends on
what phase of life you're in. Time to move Out
is what we call this segment in honor of you,
see Xavier UK. Anyone else said I'm missing going back
either this week or last, depends on what your schedule

(03:21):
of moving date was. We're going to relive some of
the best roommate stories and some of the best yet
to come. To participate in this five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one, or you can start
with the talkback feature, which is where we're going to
direct the conversation. Right now, I cannot in good faith
move forward with this segment without revisiting my absolute favorite

(03:43):
talkback I think we've ever gotten on the show so
bad roommates.

Speaker 6 (03:47):
My freshman year in college, roommates stole my comforter one
night when I was out at a party and I
came home and couldn't find my comforter and she was
under it naked with a random stranger.

Speaker 7 (03:59):
And my secondary roommate's from the middle of nowhere. I'm Upstate,
New York and used to sleep in hay in her
dorm at true story.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Well, no.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
People on the street bring that.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Talk back up to me sometimes when I'm out and.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
About the uh forever iconic.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
The thing is, when you live with someone, it's kind
of jarring, right. You know, you reflect back to when
you're in college, or maybe you're in it now. You're
put into these extremely close quarters with people that you
don't know, and people in their home living environments. Is
when you really see them that they're just their most
unique ever. My freshman year, I moved into Lacell University.

(04:47):
It's in Newton, Massachusetts, which is just right outside of
Boston and a I when you get the sheet of
paper that says who you're gonna live with.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I looked at my room. My roommate's her name is Elizabeth.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
She was from Pennsylvania and then and it had like
her social media handles, her address or email or contact,
whatever the case may be. Then you looked over at
my name and it just said Tiffany Potter, you know,
the hometown that I'm from, with no way to contact me.
At that point, I didn't have social media yet. I
was very, very very last on the Facebook trend. I

(05:23):
just did not want to get on it. And so
I'm like, this girl's gonna think I'm crazy. I called
her and I said, Elizabeth, like, Hi, my name is Tiffany,
and I'm sure moving in that day. She's like, good God,
this is going to be a nightmare. Ended up being
my best friend ever in college and we lived together
all four years that we went to Lacelle and then
even postgrad we lived in the same neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
So shout out to Liz mcgoe.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
So we had a neighbor growing up that he would
absolutely flip out if any of us kids did chalk
anywhere near his house, so we weren't allowed to do
chalk on the sidewalk in front of his house. We
were forced to go on the other side of the
street every time unless we wanted to battle the old neighbor.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
There's always a story about a neighbor who's very elderly
that lives next door to you that just really, really
really it has nothing to do except watch whatever it
is that you're doing.

Speaker 9 (06:15):
I live in a condo and the woman on the
downstairs proposed project and I politely said I wasn't comfortable
because she wanted to take part of the yard and
write it out of the condra docks for her. And
then they started harassing me, and her boyfriend sent me
a text saying I'm going to murder you and I
had to go to the police. And I still live

(06:35):
there and I'm really scared. And that was probably the
best part of the last three years.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
Oh my god, we talked about this.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
This is a second time this week that we've talked
about homes and such with the hoa condo fees are
the same and you have to go oh man, Well,
hopefully you're okay, wellness, update on you. I should have
started there. Sorry, I got distracted on that. We're still
commercial free. The best way to contribute to the Tiff
in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
Show is two ways.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
You can leave me the talkbacks like we've been filtering through,
or I'd love to hear your voice this morning five
win three seven four nine one o seven one.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
And then my.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
Second roommate, let's from the middle of nowhere, upstate New
York and used to sleep in her dorm at.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Day, Good Morning.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Sabrina Carpenter's album Short and Sweet comes out tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
I'll have that a part of New Music Friday on
Tip in the Morning. That's for sure. She's the biggest
artist on the planet.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Right now, we're in the midst of talking about your
favorite roommate or neighbor stories in honor of UC Xavier
UK all going back to school within the last week
or so, or maybe you even dropped your kid off
at a completely different college in a completely different state.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
I'm wishing them well.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
I'm wishing them silly stories, ones that they can maybe
come back to the show with in the future, because
if you can't laugh at them now, when can you,
Right we'll start with you. Good morning, you're on the air.
Thanks for stopping by the show.

Speaker 10 (07:58):
Hbor advice for barbecue. We moved in. Turned out the
dude was a convicted murderer who had murdered someone for
hitting on his daughter and spent the next seven years
protecting our house from the police, from my brother, from
other people. He would break into our yard to mow

(08:19):
it when he thought it was getting too bought. My
brother came back drunk from the bar one night, he
helped him break into.

Speaker 11 (08:25):
My house once he asked a series of increasingly invasive
questions about my wife and i's personal life to make
sure he's actually my brother, best neighbor we ever lived
next to.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Really, so it actually ended up being a good thing.
This man was on it.

Speaker 12 (08:41):
He was on it.

Speaker 10 (08:42):
He met my brother at the front door with a
shotgun when he thought he was trying to break in,
and then after asking about high life and.

Speaker 11 (08:50):
What we did, a series of increasingly invasive questions about
our personal.

Speaker 10 (08:54):
Lives, he helped some pop sense and picked a lock
on a backdoor.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
You know when you do spend time behind the wall,
you have you just have a different set of skills
than the rest of the regular general population.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
How was he out of prison if he murdered someone?

Speaker 10 (09:12):
Uh, I'm not sure. Okay, I didn't ask too many questions.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yeah, I killed a man.

Speaker 10 (09:22):
Okay, we're not asking too much.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
I'm laughing because it's uncomfortable. But lastly, how was it
when you left the neighborhood? Did you tell him, Hey,
we're out of here, but thanks for your service.

Speaker 10 (09:33):
So he actually ended up passing away while we're in
Saint Louis. He got that cancer.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (09:43):
He actually had a smuggle his dog into the hospital
for him.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Oh wow, and now you're a convicted felon.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (09:52):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
What's your name and what neighborhood you calling me from?

Speaker 10 (09:57):
Chris, We're from Vadeira.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Thank you for the call, Chris. I really appreciate you.
You know what this is giving? Right, I need you help.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I can't tell you what it is.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
You can never ask me about it later, and we're
gonna hurt some people. Who's Kyle We're gonna take all?

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Right, coming up two songs for now, if you can
guess whose voice that is. I have some news about him,
and he's actually moving his daughter into college as we speak.
Amongst all the News with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'll get to that next stick around.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
You're waking up with Fifth in the morning, Kiss one
seven one, Good Morning.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
We're talking celebrity parents who are moving their kids into
college right now. We're actually just coming off the conversation
of your roommate or neighbor stories, and so if I
didn't get a chance to get to yours, you can
still contribute to the show really any time by the
talkback feature or shoot me an Instagram message. I check
both of them throughout the show. I don't want you
to feel left out or anything like them. The biggest

(10:53):
name of pop culture news just happens to be moving
his kid into college right now. Ben Affleck and Jennifer
Gardner are taking their Violet to Yale.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
And I don't care if you.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Are a regular Cincinnati and like you and I, with
a couple bucks in your bank, or a millionaire like
Ben Affleck, it is still a rite of passage.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
To move into your freshman dorm room.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
I don't care if you have a million dollars, You're
most likely still gonna climb seven hundred and eighty five
unair conditioned steps to get into your freshman dorm.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
It's just the way it goes.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
You know.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
I think Ben is just it's just it's all coming
to a head at like, you know, one point. But
the man would probably prefer to just chill out, do nothing,
stay out of the spotlight.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Rip a sig, you know, have a Duncan's.

Speaker 13 (11:39):
Duncan made me brand ambassa because they know they looked
at the numberless. I'm like, we don't need anybody else.
We know what sells every man. Regular guy, Boston.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
Guy, Surprised you didn't go to BC. You know what's
gonna happen if any boys trying to mess with her?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Right, I need your help. I can't tell you what
it is.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You can never ask me about it later.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
And we're going to hurt some people.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Who's Kyle, We're gonna take a all right?

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Moving on? Who else?

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Seri Noel and her mom, Katie Holmes are moving into
Carnegie Mellon. Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Brad are moving
their son into Yale as well. Guy Fieri is sending
his son rider After off to San Diego State, and
Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld are moving Shepherd into Duke all right,
coming up next to speaking of an athletic.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
You got a shout out last night at the DNC.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
I'll have that and more than three things.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Glenn. You need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
It's three things with tip on.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Hi, good morning, Good morning. We're just before eight o'clock.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
At eight thirty, I have your chance to win at
Meghan Trainer tickets. You got to get to Riverbend at
least once this season. The show is on September fourth,
so don't go far. Let's start off with the DNC.
Our very own mayor Aft tab spoke at the DNC yesterday.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Here it is.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Joe Biden told Cincinnatians, we're gonna fix that damn bridge,
and four months later he signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
It gave our city the biggest infrastructure investment in history.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Also trending from the DNC last night, Ben Affleck Mindy.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Kalin gave him a shout out. I mean, the man's.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Really just showing his stay out of the spotlight, but
can't get away from it. God.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Jason tam Bet out, like, hang in.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
There, Dumpie Doonas is the best coffee in the world.

Speaker 13 (13:43):
Okay, Ah, Duncan made me brand ambassador because they know
they looked.

Speaker 14 (13:48):
At the numbers.

Speaker 13 (13:49):
I'm like, we don't need anybody else. We know what
sells every man, regular guy.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
All Right.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
I could go for a Duncan's ice as we speak.
It doesn't really matter what the temperature is. I will
always opt for an iced coffee. We could be in
that polar vortex that we got in January and I
still would like it cold. Second, in three things you
need to know this morning, let's talk about Travis Kelcey
a little bit here. He was miked up at practice

(14:18):
yesterday and he just kept saying the signature phrase arana
aarana Arana Enough.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Benles play the Chiefs week seventeen, and I've got nothing
else to add.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Oh, thank God, right, truly, truly, thank God. All right,
Speaking of Travis Kelcey, I did play this for you yesterday.
But just in case you didn't hear it, Adam Sandler
was on Fallon talking about how Kelsey's gonna be in
Happy Gilmore.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Travis has been. He mentioned it, and so we have
a nice something for Travis.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
He's gonna come by and he's cool, very nice guy.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
You guys would love him in real life. What a big,
handsome guy and Jesus stunned and he's so funny.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
I talked earlier in our six o'clock Hour that Taylor
Swift did address the Vienna situation publicly. She had stayed
quiet for authority purposes and wanting to silence really anything
she didn't want to get fuel to the fire. Is
essentially what I picked up from that long Instagram post,
but there was something about it that stuck out to
me where she said instead we are grieving concerts rather

(15:29):
than people. I thought that was really well spoken. And
then finally, three things you need to know. Joey Vado
has officially retired from baseball and a Reds Reds legend,
he will forever be a congratulations to him.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
There's no crying a baseball and.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
The Reds actually took the w to Toronto yesterday, his
hometown where he's originally from, and he was really trying
to get back there but didn't work. Kill retire as
a Red All right, that's three things you need to
know coming up next set eight twenty, before we get
to the Mega Trainer tickets. How can you be demure
at work? Julie on the Job is going to join us.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Hi kis good morning for what will be most likely
the very last time you hear on my show the
word demure.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
We're gonna go out with a bang.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
At least demure is the keyword you're gonna need for
the Megan Trainer tickets coming up at eight thirty in
the reason bang is that? Julian the Job joins us
every TUESDA. Today's Thursday, right.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
I should never go backwards with the days of the week,
but sometimes it happens with my ADHD brain. Julia on
the Job comes every Thursday around this time to answer
questions about your career and the fact that this is
you know, it went to its peak and now it's
on the downswing.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
It's still worth addressing.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
How to be demure when you go to work, if
is this an actual thing?

Speaker 14 (16:50):
Very demure, very mindful. I don't come to work with
a green cut crease, don't look like a clown when
I go to work, I don't do too much. I'm
very mindful while I'm at work, see hard, look very presentable.
The way I came to the interview is the way
I go to the job, I'm very modest. I'm very mindful.
You see my shirt only a little chi chi out,

(17:10):
not my tocho be mindful of why they hired you.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
Julie, what are your thoughts on that?

Speaker 15 (17:17):
First of all, I want a lot of new words there,
chichi and chojo specifically. But yeah, the essence of what
this creator is saying is you have to be aware
of your surroundings and to some extent you need to
fit in or mirror the aspects of the culture that

(17:37):
you're operating in. And one of the things that younger
people missed is the opportunity to soak that up during
internships and first jobs, and they just and so you
didn't get that that that posure that comes with Yeah,
it comes with getting at a conference cable with people,

(18:02):
which is very different than sitting on a zoom. And
so you have to there's this balance between being yourself
but also being very immure that yeah, to the point
that you don't stand out in the wrong way.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Okay, being very you see how you may make up
for work very demure, very So that's a good way
to you know, to show up to be very demure
at work. Then this was her talking more so about
her actual appearance, which we've talked about. You know, what's
the appropriate way to dress when you go to an
office place. We've gotten into that, but also just energy

(18:38):
based things. What are you know, maybe one or two
tips that you have.

Speaker 15 (18:42):
Number one is appearance, is your physical appearance. You need
to look around and pay attention to You don't want
to be the best dress. You don't want to be
the worst dress. You want to dress for the role
you want, not that the role you have, and to
look around to see who's in that role and who
you might emulate with your own special you know, with
your own special twist that's okay. And the second really
is your actions. What is considered appropriate behavior where you work?

(19:07):
Do you come in on Monday morning and talk about
how drunk you got and that's not okay in most workplaces,
And so you always want to look around see what
the people you respect most in your workplace, how are
they behaving, how are they dressing? And so you need
to find some role models to, you know, to help
get you on the right track.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Can you quickly clarify what it means to not be
the best dressed.

Speaker 15 (19:31):
If you are if you walk in. You're an entry
level person and you everyone else is wearing what we
would call business casual, but you are dressing to the
nines like I mean, like too, like designer from head
to toe. You might stand out in a way that
you don't want to. So if everybody else is dressing
in a way and actually I know somebody who tried

(19:52):
that and really created resentments that they look like they
didn't need the job. And so just just you want
to fit in an appropriate way, and so you've got
to absorb that every day behavior.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
And apparent social cues on being very very demure, very mindful.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
I love that. Thank you, Julie on the job. That's
her handle on all platforms. You can reach out to
her there. I appreciate you.

Speaker 15 (20:16):
Girl.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
You're on Kiss one oh seven to one, Hi morning,
you have.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
A Okay, go ahead, girl, it is demure.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Congratulations you are going to Meghan Trainer. Hi. No, Yeah,
congratulations September fourth, girl, You're welcome.

Speaker 7 (20:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
What's your name and what neighborhood are you in this morning?

Speaker 12 (20:47):
My name's Amanda. I'm calling from Norwood, Ohio.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Yes, I've been house shopping in Norwood these days.

Speaker 12 (20:54):
Oh my gosh. It's a great place to be. Honestly,
I raise my kids here. It's been here for six years.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Okay, are you before after the Norwood Lateral.

Speaker 12 (21:02):
I'm actually right by the Norwood Lateral?

Speaker 10 (21:04):
Is it right by it?

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Okay? Has it been a nightmare with the construction? Are
you all right?

Speaker 10 (21:09):
I'm all right.

Speaker 12 (21:09):
So my route is actually all in town. I have
worked in Oakley and all that good stuff, so everything's
pretty close by. Norwood is central to everything. So if
you know the back roads, the lateral doesn't really bother
you too much.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
And that in the house hunting process I'm learning is
called walkability.

Speaker 12 (21:26):
It is, yes, it is good for the earth, good
for the body, good for this spirit.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
Well, I appreciate you waking up with TIF in the
morning every day.

Speaker 12 (21:35):
Oh thanks for having me, Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
You're welcome. If you took an l on these tickets,
I will we'll do it again tomorrow. We'll do it tomorrow.
If you want to set a reminder in your phone.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
Around seven thirty tomorrows when we'll do that and John
John's cut you this afternoon at by four four three
in the meantime, we're still commercial free guys. Coming up
around eight fifty of the three things you need to
know to get your day started in Sincy, including the
farewell message from Joey Vado.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
It's three things with tip Good morning.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
We're just before nine o'clock and that's your trend.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Nine o five is your chance to win that trip
to Vegas, all expenses paid for our iHeartRadio Music Festival,
plus I'll throw in an extra thousand bucks, so don't
go far.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Let's start off with Ashanti and Nelly.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
They've officially welcomed their first baby together and a shanty
first baby in general, she said on Instagram, paying a
little tribute to one of her songs as well. I've
waited a long time for this baby, and let me
pull up the quote. Sorry, sorry, sorry, Funny how life's
plans aren't always on.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Time, columns always.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
Baby.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
I play that song on my show and so you
have to listen out for it.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
I had reported when Nelly was arrested like two weeks ago,
that I thought that baby might already be here, And
it turns out I was true on that one.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Also, maybe I knew this, but when I read it,
it felt like new news to me. So I'm just
gonna repeat it just in case you feel the same way.
They're officially married and that happened December twenty seventh of
this past Christmas.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
So there it is.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
Congrats to them. Second in three, you know what. Then,
last thing I'll say about Nelly and Ashanti. They are same, same,
but different from Jen and Ben. So Ben and Jen
have been trending because of the divorce yesterday. But Nellie
and Ashanti dated years and years ago, rekindled their love
and now they're starting a family together. I think that

(23:40):
Ben and Jen were hoping to go in that same direction,
it unfortunately did not. We don't have to go into
depth on that one. Listen, even though it's all over
the media. I always try my best to treat divorce
very delicate because whether you're a celebrity or a regular
Cincinnati and like you and I, it still really hurts.
Which leads me to my next name, Alex Rodriguez posted

(24:03):
on Instagram and it's funny to me even like but
you know, the quote that gets thrown up on ig
always makes me giggle because it's either petty or you know,
it's there's always a little hint of emotion to it.
And Alex Rodriguez chose this day to post this quote.
You either go one way or the other. You might

(24:24):
as well be doing the one deciding the direction. This
on the day that Jennifer walked into the courthouse on
her own and filed those divorce papers. You know, they
were together and I thought that they really would have
been a solid couple. They ended up breaking off their engagement.
Quote me, I am I wrong on this? He cheated
on her right or she caught? Yeah, he was caught

(24:46):
in the DMS with like a Different Girl. All right. Lastly,
and three things you need to know this morning, Let's
talk about Alex Cooper of the infamous Call Her Daddy podcast,
which is number two on Spotify, just behind the platform's
biggest podcast, which is Joe Rogan.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
She just made the announcement.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Yesterday that SiriusXM picked her and her Unwell company I
believe up for one hundred and twenty five million dollars.
She has the fourth biggest podcast across all.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Platforms, and I just love that. I love that for
her as an individual.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
I love what she's doing for the space for females
and she is just a genius when it comes to
millennial and gen Z marketing on social media, So congrats
to her. Lastly, let's just touch base on it because
it's going to be a big weekend or I'm sorry,
a big night rather here in Cincy. Farewell to Joey Vado,
by the way, yesterday announcing his retirement from baseball. He

(25:47):
will retire as a Red because he didn't end up
being able to go up and play for Toronto. I
had played his farewell speech earlier in the show, but
we'll we'll always love him here speaking of a great
American ballpark will host Green Day tonight and then a
paycourp will have its final preseason game with the Bengals,
which usually leads to a lot of traffic and a

(26:08):
lot of people being down at the bank, so just
be aware of that, and of course I'll have all
the details from tonight in tomorrow's Three Things report. Okay,
that is it for the twenty second of August, coming
up at nine oh five. I had mentioned it earlier,
but I've got that free trip to Vegas our iHeartRadio
Music Festival is a once in a lifetime experience.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
You'll see Doja, Katchaboozy.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Gwen Stefani and more, and I'll throw in an extra
thousand bucks, so don't go far.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Kiss one O seven one.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Sabrina is the biggest artist on the planet right now
and her album comes out tomorrow, so I'll have that
for you on the show. Americans fantasize about this one
thing four times a day.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
No, it is not that. Nope, it's not that. It's
not that. Actually, it doesn't matter how old you are.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
You're probably fantasizing about this one and that is going
on an adventure. Americans are fantasizing about adventures and vacations
four times a day. If that doesn't say, damn, I'm
desperate for a vacation.

Speaker 5 (27:12):
I don't know what else does.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
By the way, I gave away that trip to Vegas,
I'll mention the keyword one more time. It was Win
texts that to two hundred two hundred. Okay, there you go.
One thing I don't agree about this is that they
say the perfect age to go on an adventure is
forty two years old. Nah, don't agree with that. And
the perfect adventure length is six days long. Uh, I

(27:38):
don't know about that. I think three days is really solid.
I even think you could get away with one or
two if you needed it. The big causes for the
need for adventure, I mean, duh, anxiety, fatigue, being overwhelmed.
The top places to go on an adventure destination if
you're looking for something Hawaii, California, Florida, Alaska, and Colorado

(28:04):
first two, three or makes sense if you're a beach
slash city person. Alaska if you're like I need to
get that, I need to get be away from people.
And then Colorado if you're a nature person. All those
typically makes sense. Here's what we're gonna do tomorrow. If
you want to set a reminder, actually, twenty four hours
from this time. Do you remember Michelle, she was our

(28:26):
solo travel expert. She said, Hey, labor days next weekend.
Do you want to chit chat about doing solo travel?
And you know, in the Tri state area for labor
day weekends. So if you're like, oh my god, I
am one of these people that fantass is it about
in an adventure four times a day, then this would
be perfect.

Speaker 10 (28:45):
For you.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
She's gonna come in tomorrow, like I said, right around
this time and give you like the top things that
you can do easy to pull off for your own
adventure solo next weekend. So set a reminder to hang
out with Tip in the morning tomorrow. Okay, coming up
at nine forty. We do it every day, daily debrief.
I'll pick one big thing that I talked about on
my show, including your worst roommate or neighbor stories. We'll

(29:07):
get to that next
