Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Kiss, good morning, good morning, good morning. Hold on what second.
It's the first time I've used my own voice out
loud today. Really, here we go.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Good morning at Saint Patrick's Day Monday. You know, this
is always such a special day in my friend group,
going back to college, going out, having ourselves a time,
and I'm looking forward to bringing some of the energy to.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
The air this morning.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
I was out and about yesterday and I had seen
a few left over gold sprinkles at my neighborhood bar,
Crowley's in Mount Adams, and he had said, oh yeah,
Saturday was nuts. So I did a little bit of
bopping around yesterday and like I said, saw the remnants
of what happened Saturday. But I heard, and this is
the first time I'm hearing of this, that there are
several bars, some in Clifton, I believe Molly Malone's that
(00:55):
open up around five or six o'clock this morning. So
if I just happened to be catching you on your
way to say Patty Say celebrations and you've called out
a work for this, I absolutely need to hear from you.
Five win, three seven four nine, one oh seven one,
or you could talk back with Tim. I'll keep you anonymous,
I promise. Outside of that, how was your weekend? It
(01:18):
for me ended up being a really chill, relaxed, much
needed relaxed weekend after coming off of Bockfest, which is
my favorite Cincinnati holiday last weekend, and the weather and
the rain, I mean tragic of course for some across
the Midwest. We'll talk about that a little bit more
in Three Things you Need to Know around six fifty.
But it just poured and poured and poured yesterday in
(01:42):
the day before, which allowed me to just kind of
rest and chill. I obviously made the obligatory stop at
Home Goods and bought myself a candlestick.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I'm gonna talk about this later on in the show.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I Home.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
I bought a candlestick from Home Goods, and I have
never felt more or pre colonial in my life. The
ambiance was a ten out of ten in my apartment
this weekend.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
I had mentioned three Things you need to Know a
couple of seconds ago. I obviously saw the Jamar Chase
and T Higgins news.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
We'll dive into that at six fifty.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Good morning, Glenn, you need to know who she's got you.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
It's three things with tip on kiss. When I was seven,
one got it.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
That Irish flag is a little bit of orange in it.
A lot of Bengals fans are gonna be wearing orange today.
I'll get to the Jamara Chase and T Higgins news
here in a hot second. We're just before seven o'clock.
Much different in temperatures today, with highs only in the fifties.
It's like thirty something degrees right now. Tomorrow the pick
of the week, I would say, with sixty eight for
a high sunshine. Before we get to Jamar and T. Higgins,
we got to stop stop off at the weather. I mean,
(02:44):
we obviously felt the side effects of that rain this
weekend with flooding in the usual areas of the tri State.
But forty people have died due to the major storms
that hit the Midwest this weekend.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Ran in the bathrooms.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
I've never been through something like that.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
In my life.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Never seen that type of wind. Are trees in this area?
We've seen it on TV, of course. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Wild Five hundred and fifty seven storms were reported on Friday,
with another one hundred and thirty five through yesterday. Those
numbers are massive. Five tornadoes touchdown in Louisiana.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I'll be thinking of them. Second, and three things you
need to know.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
This morning, I mean a big old welcome to the
Jungle wow A little treat from the Bengals organization. Late
last night they announced that both t Higgins and Jamar
Chase have been signed. And yes, Jamar Chase is the
highest non paid quarterback in the league at forty point
twenty five million per year, Tea Higgins at twenty eight
(03:46):
points seventy five million per year, and of course we
know Joe Burrow's got fifty.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Five million per year.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Why healed came down to the like like bagels, tanser sweating.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
We were sweating on that one.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Lastly, in three Things you need to Know this morning,
our iHeartRadio Music Awards are tonight live on Kiss one
oh several one. Congratulations to Lady Gaga. She's gonna pick
up our iHeartRadio Innovator Awards. She also debuted number one
with her new album Mayhem on the Billboard two hundred chart.
Mariah Carey is picking up the Icon Award, and Taylor
Swift is picking up a brand new award for the
(04:22):
first time for tour of the century. Taylor Swift's Era Tour.
Airs Tour kicked off two years ago. Today grossing two
billion dollars with ten million attendees is just staggering. You'll
hear performances from Bad Bunny and more all tonight on
Kiss one oh, several one, All right, coming up at
(04:43):
seven forty a Kiss is kicking off our banger brackets
for the first time. Your chance to win concert tickets
to over ten different shows at Riverbend this summer. When
you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, you won't miss it.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Good morning, You're.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Waking up with Kiss one O seven one Right, let's
get the beds started and ready to go. You were
walking into chitchat Roulette where Sarah at least from w
EBN also a good friend of my show as well.
We take all the biggest things from the weekend and
put them into one spinning wheel that's five minutes long
because we get in trouble if we go too long,
and you know, we can just chit chat it up.
Speaker 6 (05:18):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
First of all, Happy Saint Patrick's Day. I've read to
turn to micame.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Good morning, Happy Saint Patti's Days.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Here.
Speaker 7 (05:27):
You're great bank those fans too, Lucky oh Man.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Thank god that Irish flag has a little bit of
orange in it. After the announcement last night, did you
know that that was coming?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I mean I just woke up and I was like, bam,
all these people were signed, and there is a lot
of money involved.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
There's a ton of money involved. Talk about historic record
setting numbers. So now Jamar Chase four years, baby one
hundred and sixty one million buckaroos, highest paid non QB.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
He ain't going hungry. Lots of gold in his pot
of gold, okay?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
And then who else with t Higgins?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
And then we also got t four years as well,
one hundred and fifteen million dollars, making him the highest paid,
second leading wide receiver. Joe's got all of his guys,
and the off season, Joe Burrow said, I gotta get
Mike Gaseki. So that happened is tight end and now
his god is two wide receivers.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Sure.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
All that's kind of left up in the air is
what's going on with Troy Hundrickson.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
So could you honestly date a guy that had that
much money in the bank account? No?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
I couldn't.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
It's similar that is really intimidating. I feel like I
have nothing to offer.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
That's oh, Sarah enough, you have a lot to offer
somebody out, But I feel like.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
They're good on their own, Like what do they need me?
Speaker 3 (06:48):
What do you need?
Speaker 2 (06:49):
What are we gonna do? What would we do all day?
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I would shop all day. I would have no money.
I would be broke by April. Like, that's just what
would happen.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
I know it.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
I'd buy a house, a shoe, there's a shoe. Help you.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
You know me fairly well that when I say this,
I'm not a consumer, so I don't really shop a lot.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
What would I be doing all day?
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Vacationingah, you would go on solo trip after solo trip
after solo trip.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I would probably do the vacation.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
But I would probably still keep some sort of normal
scene routine.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I would probably come to work every day.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
I would absolutely keep my job.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Yeah, keep my job, come to work, keep it chill.
But I would always pick up the tab for like
restaurant dinners and things of that nature. I'd probably set
my family up a little bit and get organized. But
outside of them, I'm still driving my four door Honda.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Let's go to I'd get rid of my Honda.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Your Honda has scratches on the shoe.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
Honda husband lightly Graves.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I would have not me.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
I would have never done that to my Honda. But yeah,
so Bengals fan should have should feel pretty good with
this one, and then we'll see what else happens in
the off season over the next few months. But you know,
Joe Burrow is smoking a lot of today and celebration
of that.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Also, I don't like a man that smokes a cigar.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
It's fine if you're winning, it's dorky if you're not.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
If you're just some random dude sitting there and playing
pool at a local barn, you got a cigar, Just no,
But it's cool for Joe.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
I don't hate men. Well, I don't know, but i'mn's
here's okay.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
What else do we have that happened in Cincy?
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Outside of that news from last night the tournament?
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Are you a bracket person? Are you gonna make one?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
So I might do it this year? A local news
Xavier managed to get on in. They're gonna be playing
late Wednesday night against Texas at ud Arena. Okay, so
if you can make it there, I say go and
support the local guys. They're the only ones going. So
you see not going Miami loss on Saturday night. Don't
even want to talk about that. So they're gonna represent.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Us outside of brackets. Always stress me out. I'm not
gonna make one sports brackets and Super Bowl squares.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Yeah, I've done a bracket before, and then you find
yourself being so obsessed with it, like you're watching sixteen
seed teams that you've never heard of before. And in
some very like like small towns that have like twenty
five people that live there.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
It's it's just too much.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Just one minute, let's talk Saint Patty's Day. How did
you see anything from the banks this weekend? I didn't
see much far.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
There was a big party at the banks over the weekend.
There's gonna be a big party there today. If you
want to come out and hang out with me, I
will be at Molly Malone's from eleven to one. The
doors are already opened for that. Also going on for
Saint Patti's Day, We've got green Noodles at Skyline Chilly.
They started it yesterday, they're doing it today for the
three four five ways.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
So the Boston Saint Patrick's Day parade was yesterday and
there were several arrests. In the police officer photo where
all of these gallon jugs that they call borg juice,
Yeah yeah, which means black outrage juice, and they just
put all of this in this like gallon, like a
gallon of w it's. They were just walking around with borgs.
(10:02):
I don't know if Cincinnati is to that level.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
We're not there now.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
I'm most certainly not there. All right, Sarah, we.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Did it three two one zero.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Coming up at seven forty this morning, we're kicking off
Kiss one O seven one's banger brackets with your chance.
Whether you're gonna make a basketball bracket or not, you
can make a music bracket at Kiss Cincinnati dot com
because I have your chance to win a pair of
tickets to over ten different concerts at Riverbend this summer.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
So don't go far. That's coming up at seven.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Forty when you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
It's three things with tip on Kiss Good morning.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
We're just before eight o'clock eight thirty, a chance for
you to win Cyclones tickets to their Pucks in Pups
Night this coming weekend.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
So don't go far before we get there.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
I mean, we have got to start off with the
news of the Vangals late last night signing Jamar Chase
and T Higgins two massive contracts and holding to their
word that they're gonna pay. Jamar Chase is the highest
paid player outside of a quarterback at fifty well, Joe
Burrows at fifty five.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Million a year.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Jamar is at forty point two five million dollars per
year four years on that one, and the same with
T Higgins, but at twenty eight point seventy five million
dollars per year. And woooo, that is a lot of
money to.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Do it in the city of Cincinnati. You know, we
have the best fans, and so this is this is
where I want to be.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I hope it's not bad juju though, you know, we've
paid our dues and put good juju into the universe.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
I'd plan trash bags. I really don't care what we
were out there. Let's get a win, all right.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Congratulations to Xavier for making it into the NCAA Tournament
on selection Sunday yesterday.
Speaker 8 (11:56):
You know, tonight, I don't know if I've ever experienced
a better feeling in sports, then the one I had
when our name was announced tonight with our players on
you know, at my house on selection Sunday.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
I love that they play on Wednesday, and you'll hear
that on seven hundred w ALWR sister station. You can
hear it live, especially if you're gonna be working like well,
I'm not gonna be able to watch this game all right.
And then lastly, in three Things you need to Know,
our iHeartRadio Music Awards are tonight. You'll hear them live
on Kiss one O seven one, kicking off around to
eight o'clock. Lady Gaga will pick up our iHeartRadio Innovator Award,
(12:32):
Mariah Carey our iHeart Radio Icon Award, and for the
first time in a new award for us is the
iHeartRadio Legacy Tour Award, which is going to Taylor Swift.
She kicked off her Airs tour two years ago today
grossing two billion, ten million attendees.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Wow, that's staggering.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
You'll hear performances from Bad Bunny and more, like I said,
live on Kiss one O seven one tonight to day.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
That is three things you need to know for us.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Saint Patrick's Day Monday, we're gonna talk about tattoos. Do
you have a tattoo that you absolutely regret? Talk back
with tiff on iHeart Radio. That's coming up at eight twenty.
I'll explain why you're waking up. It's like Christmas, but
a different type of green and a little bit of
orange sprinkled in today, which Bengals fans are loving. And
(13:22):
after the announcement with Jamar Chase and t Higgins last night,
WOOO coming up around eight thirty ish, I have your
chance to win tickets to the Pucks in Pups Night
for the Cyclones this coming weekend around eight thirty ish.
Should I say that about ten or so minutes from now.
My brain's in two different places. Half of it's in Ireland,
(13:42):
half of it's here in Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Actually a little taste of it's in Boston.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
You'll need the keyword tattoos to win these tickets.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
We're gonna talk about tattoos this morning.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Do you have one that you regret or do you
have one that every once in a while you look
at it and you're like, huh oh, yeah, I did
get that tattoo. I don't necessarily regret it, but sometimes
I forget that I have it.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
You know, that's me.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Every single Saint Patrick's day, I'm reminded of the tattoo
that I have on my foot back in two thousand
and eight, after the Red Sox won their second World
Series during my lifetime.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
Oh I love it.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Sorry, I love that part.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
So back in the early, you know, two thousands, when
I turned eighteen, I graduated high school and I got
a three leaf clover tattooed on my foot with the
Boston Red Sox symbol. And if my good friend and
close person I'm listening, you know, Tom, if he's listening
right now, he would make fun of me because I
always say wicked and I was wicked excited at that
time to get that tattoo and I still am. And
(14:49):
anytime I hear this song, anytime I celebrate, Tam Patrick
say look down at my foot and I see that tattoo,
and I'm like, nah, I have it.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
And you better believe.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
When I go to Molly Balloons today and I drink
a green beer around eleven thirty in the morning, I'm
gonna be thinking of that too.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
So let's chit chat about your tats. I mean, do
I regret it?
Speaker 4 (15:09):
No?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Is it there? For the rest of my life.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yeah, if the Bengals were to win a Super Bowl,
now that we've signed Jamar Chase and t Higgins for
long term contracts, will you get a Bengals tattoo? There's
a really good chance that there's a yes. So five, one, three, seven,
four nine, one oh seven one. Do you have a tattoo?
Let's chit chat about it, and then that's the keyword
you're gonna need. By the way, for the Cyclones tickets
coming up around eight thirty.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Don't go far. Hi, good morning. You're waking up with
the tip in the morning.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
On Kiss one oh seven one, we're in the midst
of talking about tattoos that you have that you might regret,
or at least maybe you're reminded of them every year
at one point or another high you're on the air.
Speaker 6 (15:46):
I definitely definitely regret getting I have twenty six tattoos.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
Nine years ago I got two Cincinnati Bengals tattoos on
my chest. You could see them anytime I wear a
lowcut shirt, which I have regretted the past two years.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I was gonna I was waiting for that, but the
last two years common I was waiting for that one,
So you don't have regrets to the Bengals ones on
the chest anymore.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Maybe just the location, maybe just the location.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
But I have twenty six and they were all what
you what looks like Joe House tattoos without being in jail.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Oh damn, girl? What made you get those?
Speaker 6 (16:23):
Young and domb and not thinking once you get older
over thirty that they just don't look as cool when
you're twenty, you know, especially if they're not cohesive. So
they're all just placed different places on my fingers, and
a trance stamp of my kids on my back that
didn't even that looks for My kids's names is Alex
Tie and Sage and the guy put Alex try safe.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
What happened there? Did you pay this man?
Speaker 6 (16:53):
Yeah? Yeah he was. He was doing tattoos in the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Girl, Thank you for the call.
Speaker 9 (16:59):
You know me?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Do you regret a few of those? If you're just
walking into this conversation. The reason why we're even having
it is because I have a three leaf clover tattoo
with a Boston Red Sox symbol, and every Saint Patrick's
Day I'm reminded of it. Not that I regret it,
but I definitely look at that thing like, Yep, you're
with me for forever. Okay, tattoo is the keyword you're
gonna need to win the Cyclones tickets for.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Pucks and Pups night coming up in three minutes. Don't
go far.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one. Nothing goes better together like
green beer. Saint Patrick's say in hockey might be just
my opinion, But if you want to go see the
Cyclones this weekend for their Pucks and Pups night Caller ten,
you don't have to wait for me, gohead five one,
three seven, four nine one oh seven one. If you
(17:46):
have the keyword that I had mentioned earlier, we're in
the midst of talking about tattoos.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yes, I have.
Speaker 9 (17:51):
Maglife on the back of my neck that I got
when I was like eighteen or nineteen years old, which
I used to travel the world and I used to
sell magazine door to door, and so a few of
us one day we were like so gunholl about our
jobs that we were like, yeah, let's just go get
magazine somewhere tattooed on our bodies. So mag Life was
(18:12):
on our necks and arms and et cetera. Right, I
hate it, Honestly, I hate it and I hate explaining it.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Carol Iman't when you said mag life, I was like,
what what is that? Oh man? You know my stance.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Okay, be so committed to something that you're willing to
either go to jail like Billy McFarland, you know, with
his music festival, or in your case, be so committed
to magazine life that you're willing to get it tatted.
At the time, I was so committed to the Boston
Red Sox that I got the clover and the bee
on my foot. So I'm dead at Maglife. I also
(18:50):
would love that job. By the way, I wish that
still existed. I'm still a magazine girly at heart. I
love a magazine traveling the world and selling them and
then getting it tatted. I love that girl. Thank you
for the talk back with Tiff. You two can leave
me voice notes when you search kiss on the I
heard app. The microphone is in the top right hand corner.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
All right.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
By now you obviously have a hint as to what
the keyword is for the cyclones, pucks and pucks, tickets.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
P Pups and Pucks tickets.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
I have one more open phone line. It's yours if
you want it. Five one, three seven, four nine one
o seven one.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Good luck and happy Saint Patrick's Day.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
You're wing on with Tiff in the morning. One you're gonna.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Hear Lady Gaga on kiss later on tonight. I'll have
that free and three things coming up around eight point fifty.
Good morning, your chance at the Cyclones tickets.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me. Congratulations, you're collared, tan.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
You got the keyword?
Speaker 10 (19:46):
You wha?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
I'm so good? Dare I say on today? You have
the luck of the Irish.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Club.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
Game has so much fun.
Speaker 9 (20:00):
I really wanted to go back again.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
I'm telling you if you have not gone, and you
can attest to this, it isn't it the most fun
thing we have?
Speaker 6 (20:07):
It is.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 6 (20:10):
I'm so excited to go.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
You're welcome, Mike Gal Well, happy Monday to you. What's
your name? By the way, what neighborhood you and you
mentioned it, but I didn't hear it. Oh, Marceina, I
live in Mercina. Thank you for waking up with Tiff
in the morning.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
We were just chit chatting about tattoos. Do you happen
to have any that you might regret?
Speaker 6 (20:28):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (20:29):
I actually don't have any tattoos, So no regrets.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
There, okay, my gal.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yeah, no regrets, no regrets.
Speaker 9 (20:35):
I'm not getting any, so I'm good.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
No regrets, okay, commercial free for a hair longer. I
do have more Cyclones tickets tomorrow and for the rest
of the week. If you want to set a reminder
to get up with TIF in the morning around eight thirty.
And as promised, we're not far off from the three
things you need to know to get your day started.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
And sincey two songs from now.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Glynn, you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
It's three seven. Are you happy?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Jamar Chase and t Higgins are signed. I bet we'll
get to that in a hot second. We're just before
nine o'clock. Today's temperatures, hey, a lot different than they
were last week.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Right we kind of knew this was gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
High's right now or right now we're in the thirties,
but highs will be in the fifties tomorrow. Looks like
more of the pick of the week with highs in
the upper sixties with sunshine. Okay, before we get to
Jamar Chase and t Higgins news, let's stop off at
our iHeartRadio Music Awards happening tonight live on Kiss one
oh seven one at eight o'clock. You will hear from
(21:34):
Taylor Swift as she is getting ready to accept the
iHeartRadio Tour Legacy Tour rather award, an accomplishment if you
didn't know this two years ago today, Taylor Swift kicked
off her Aras tour, which we now know grossed two
billion with ten million attendees. Who Mariah Carey. We'll also
(21:55):
accept the iHeart Radio Icon Award. Lady Gaga will accept
the iHeart Radio Award. You'll hear performances from Bad Bunny,
Gracie Abrams and more like I said tonight at eight o'clock.
All right, then a second in three things you need
to know this morning, the news. It's done, it's signed.
We can take a breath. Jamar Chase t Higgins both
(22:21):
signed late last night, joining Joe Burrow who has fifty
five million a year. Jamar Chase at four years forty
point two five million year and t Higgins at twenty
eight point seventy five, the Bengals did uphold their promise
to make Jamar Chase the highest non highest paid non
quarterback in the league. And my god, the weight feels heavy.
(22:42):
Let's just please, please, please pull this off this season.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Fortunately, there's not a ton of do in Cincinnati, so
it's not you know, nobody's going out to clubs and bars.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Well, we want to come on, we gotta get it done. Nah.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
So I think everyone is taking a little bit of
a breath air after you know, last night. All right, Then, lastly,
in three Things you Need to Know this morning, dare
we talk about Rihanna and Asap rocking? Okay, Asap right,
Rolling Loud By the way, Rolling Loud was in Miami
this weekend. Okay, Asap fresh off of the lawsuit. He's like,
I'm free. Rihanna is like, we're all free. We're going out.
(23:19):
We're having a good time. Asap performs out of a
helicopter and the visuals on it were cool. The audio
not worth playing for you because it doesn't sound great
over the radio coming from a helicopter. But I will
say this that Rihanna is in her long trench coat era,
which has fans believing that she might be pregnant with
(23:40):
their third child. And if that is the case, and
that means there's no music coming from Rihanna.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Birds of a feather flock together, I'm rocher will swallow
like she do.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
That's my dog, that's my wife, that's my everything.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
So let's see.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Let's see what happens out of those two. But she's
in her trench coat era and usually marks a baby.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I'm kidding. No, that's just what fans are speculating.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
So if there happens to be more on that, that's
the big news coming out of Rolling Loud this weekend.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
I'll have it for you.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
That is three things you need to know for this
Saint Patty's Day Monday. The best way to keep listening
to Tiff in the morning, whether it be from your
desk with headphones in or on your way to Molly
Malone's search Kiss one O seven one on the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
App because you're waking up kiss.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I know that the word spiral is a social media joke,
but let me tell you, sometimes our brains really do
be spiral link.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
It's mental health Monday.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I'm just stealing a few minutes of your Monday mornings
right around this time with my gallery. Sharpage's our licensed
clinical counselor, she's the mental health expert. She used to
join our show on Tuesdays and now she comes on
on Mondays. And I'm just stealing a few minutes to
make things just a little bit better. So spiraling really
does happen. What's your what's your take on that?
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Absolutely exit.
Speaker 10 (24:56):
So spiraling happens anytime we feel overwhelmed by something and
we don't know how to cope with it, And a
lot of times our go to coping mechanisms may not work.
So a great thing to do is if you see
somebody spiraling or you are yourself or spiraling, is to
ask somebody to tell you a super boring story.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
LORII someone with ADHD as a Noraday Vergin.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
That sounds like my worst nightmare. I My whole thing
is land the plane Jackie Land It. I can't sit.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Here and listen to you when I don't have the time, money,
or energy for this. Right now, I totally get it.
Do you really think that that would work on me
someone like me?
Speaker 10 (25:38):
It may, It may depending on your spiral, and depending
on how much we can tease you into sticking in
a boring moment to find out if there is any payoff.
But the idea here is that it shifts your brain
from a reactive state to a more responsive, listening state.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
And I certainly understand.
Speaker 10 (25:57):
That it may not seem like it could make that
big of a difference, but I where try it. It
really can help people to slow the spiral because you
are shifting their focus away from what's making them anxious
to maybe even just shifting their focus to what's making
them irritated because you're telling such a boring story.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
But that's when when win.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Okay, So if you are someone that spirals, find the
most boring, annoying coworker or classmate and be like, tell
me about your weekend.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah yeah, fill me in, and then you'll realize the
nerdy virsion.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
You'll realize be like, actually, my life really isn't that bad.
I need to get out of here. Add the coping
queen on a social if you like little tidbits on
mental health, et cetera, you can check her out and
then she joins our show. Like I said, every Monday,
Thanks Lori, thanks so much,
