Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven one.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hi, good morning, Good morning, Good morning morning.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
We are a few minutes out from the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Sincy,
including why Jamar Chase and t Higgins and Cody Ford
are trending on the internet and it has mehing to
do with the game tonight.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
We'll table that until seven.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Fifty ish while I have you, I got a message
and I figured you would give some good insight on this.
We were in the midst of talking about decorations and Christmas,
et cetera.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
If you're just walking into it, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
You can always start listening to my show on iHeartRadio
from your own bed.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
That way you.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Never miss out on the conversation that we're having every day.
I had asked you know, when when is when's too
early for holiday decorations. It all started from a video
I posted on my social from the arguments of my
officemates with the different radio stations in this building at
iHeart Sincy disagree on when is the appropriate time to
(01:01):
decorate for Christmas. Nonetheless, this message is about minimalism and
I figure decorations fall perfectly into this one. My husband
saw a documentary last year about minimalism and is fully
embracing the trend. He's gotten rid of a ton of
stuff and is now constantly pushing me to downsize my
things too. I like having some decor I like having
(01:23):
Christmas decorations, I like having keepsakes around.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
But he says that it's all just clutter.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
I want to make him happy, and I sort of
like the minimalist esthetic, but his has gone so far.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
How do I compromise with him? Oh? My god.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Okay, if I'm being transparent with you, I also embrace
the minimalist life.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I do not like clutter.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
But if you've seen some of my videos from the
hoarder house of which my father lives in, Hi, dad,
I know you're listening on iHeart as well. I'm scarred
from that, so I typically try to keep things very,
very very minimal. However, I understand that decorations and keepsakes
are a part of people's memories, et cetera. I don't
(02:12):
like having them. Here's the difference, at least in my mind.
If you have some clutter in your house, I'm sure
it looks like maybe it's lifted. Maybe it's gone too far.
How does one manage that in a relationship. I'm curious
to know what you think as well, because a lot
of my friends have Amazon packages delivered daily. To me.
(02:35):
If you've got Amazon coming to your front doorstep every day,
maybe I have a driver listening to me right now.
That has to mean clutter in your house five one
three seven nine one seven one. If someone in your
house is minimalist and you are not, can you help.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Us this morning?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Hi, good morning, you're waking up with a tiff in
the morning. On Kiss one oh seven one. The Starbucks
holiday cups are out. You'll see that trending on social today.
We've actually been talking about the holidays on my show
quite a bit this morning, with decorations.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Et cetera.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
It has since led us to talking about minimalism. I
had gotten a message from somebody that says, listen, my
boyfriend watched a documentary and has embraced this minimalist lifestyle
that I haven't quite gotten to.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
I don't really know how to do this.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
It led to me being like, well, if you've got
Amazon coming to your house every single day, there's a
good chance that you might have a lot of clutter
in your house. I don't like clutter. I feel uncomfortable
with it. But you guys have seen the hoarder house
videos on my social from the house that I grew
up in, so I'm a little bit scarred from that.
So we're in the midst of taking your opinions thoughts
(03:44):
things maybe you've purchased on Amazon that your husband or
you know, your partner rather has been like, come on, really,
oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I know this sounds completely nuts, but I bought a penholder,
and I'm like, why did I buy a penholder?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Exactly?
Speaker 1 (03:57):
It was just a silly buye but I didn't return it.
I still kept it. But I was like, what was
I thinking?
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Well, at least japens are safe. Here's the thing. You
don't need more than like three pens. I don't know
what's going on here. I don't think this will be
the last time that we talk about this. In fact,
maybe I'll ask Laurie Sharpage, who's our relationship expert, on
the show next week to give her opinion on it. Alrighty, then,
coming up after Missy and Sierra, let's dive into the
three things you need to know to get your day
(04:24):
started in Sincy, including why Jamar T. Higgins and Cody
Ford are trending and it has nothing to do with
the game tonight
