Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up in the morning, good morning, must must, must,
must watch TV for the weekend. I say it all
the time that Apple TV is my favorite platform. If
you have anything else, put it on pause and get
Apple TV, get some sort of free trial. Severance season
two is officially out. You actually might have already seen

(00:21):
it trending because all the actors set up for two
hours in Grand Central Station. They set up their office
like they have in Severance, and the fans are loving it.
I was loving it and they just like acted in
there for two hours. It was very cool. So Severance
is imagine having something really tragic happen in your life. Okay, well,

(00:43):
then this company called Lumen can sever those memories from
your brain and you go to work every day and
you have no idea who you are on the outside.
They actually call you your outside person the OUDI, and the
inside person the inny. So your Inny at work is
super happy this and that, doing whatever, enjoying your life.

(01:05):
And then you leave Lumen and you get all your
memories back. And this happens every single day. And so
it's supposed just imagine if you've ever gone through something
tragic in your life, small or minor would you do
this so when you would go, you know, to work
every day, you would forget about it for a little while. Now,
you know, for therapizing here for a hot second, like

(01:26):
that's not very good for your mental health, et cetera.
But that's the premise of the show. The twist at
the end is jaw dropping. I'm in the midst of
rewatching season one right now. I'm halfway through it. Halfway
through it, and I think it's a good balance of
like mystery and suspense and easy to watch, but you
do have to pay attention. Season two took them three

(01:47):
years to get their act together. Ben Stiller is the
one that produced it. He was on foulon the other night.
I played that clip yesterday, so it's officially out. I
bet they released three episodes because Apple typically does that.
It might be only one episode, but highly recommend you
have to. I'm gonna be circling back on this on Monday.
You already know that Silo, another great one that has

(02:08):
its final episode of season two, is out today as well,
so there's a lot to catch up on Silo. Very
good Apocalyptic. I heard season two is a little slow
to start in the beginning. I usually wait until all
the episodes are out, but I don't think I can
do that with Severance. Another great show on Apple TV
is Shrinking. If you're looking for comedy easy to watch

(02:29):
on the couch, you want to giggle. I laugh out
loud at that show and it's so, so, so good.
It's about therapists that pretty much do everything wrong, but
it ends up being right at the same time. And
then there's one called Lutot with Maya Rudolph, also a quick,
easy thirty minute comedy as well. So these are all
on Apple but Severance is the big, one, big, big big.

(02:52):
You'll have to let me know if you watch it.
Shoot me a DM at the TIF to F's Potter
Like the Wizard. Highly recommend the show all right. Coming
up at nine forty, the daily debrief. We do this
every day. I chose the one big thing that we
talked about and we run it back. I just love debriefing.
The girls love a debrief session. Should I get a
senior dog? This is the second day in a row
that we've talked about adopting twelve year old Sally, and

(03:15):
I haven't really decided if it's a good fit for
me or not. I'm having a hard time with my
gut on this one, so I'll check your talkbacks, et cetera.
Get you on the air next.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Just one oh seven one eron I Am.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
