Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one ask and you shall receive the
answers on my show.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
So the reason why Robert Downey Jr. Being in Doomsday
is such a big deal is because typically in the
Marvel Cinematic Universe, you don't have people duply dicating characters.
And also one of iron Man's favorite quotes is you
either die a hero or live long enough to become
a villain. And the new character is basically one of

(00:30):
the biggest villains in the Marvel Cinematic universe.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Okay, there we go. Thank you for the talkback with Tiff.
When you stream Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone
is next to the play butte, and that's how you
can contribute to the content and the conversation here that
we're having this morning. I had asked a question about
why it was such a big deal for Robert Downey
Junior to make that announcement about comic Con about the

(00:55):
Marvel universe.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
In the meantime, great on the app there commercial free
for the rest of the hour. So that's a great
way to continue to listen. Coming up at eight thirty.
If you haven't gone to a concert yet this season,
what are you doing? Why we're cruising into August. Baby,
I'll take care of you. I have a chance for
you to win passes to the voices of America Music

(01:21):
Festival for the entire time. Diplow is going to be
with us, Sam Hunt and so many more. You will
need a keyword, though, and this morning's keyword is green
dress you know what?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Or statement necklace.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I'll take either one of those, whatever one do you
identify with, and I'll explain why.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Those are the keywords coming up in two songs.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Don't go anywhere You're waking up with fifth in the
morning Hunt Kiss one.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
How about the matching the lore sets that females would
wear that were the same color.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
And it was a little jacket that were my pants.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Oh yeah, oh and it had writing on it right
it would either say juice or pink across the button
that those were a status symbol. Thank you for the talkback,
we'd say. If when you search kiss one oh seven
one on the iHeartRadio app, you'll see the microphone next
to the play button.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Hold that down.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
You have thirty seconds to contribute into our content. And
conversation this morning about cringey millennial trends. And if you've
listened to my show in the last two weeks, we
kind of already.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Talked about this. This is the second time that it's
come up this month.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
But this video of the woman in the green dress
keeps circulating and it's come across my page.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I said, finally, you know what, let's just talk about it.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
And you know what green dress, statement necklace though, I'll
take either one, whatever one you identify with. Those are
the keywords you're gonna need to win the voices of
America Music Festival passes coming up here at eight thirty okay,
four days of music, Dip blows there, Sam Hunt's there
and more so, you'll need those keywords either why they're

(02:59):
one of them.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Here's the video. I'll play it and then we'll talk
about it.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I don't know what's happening in the club culture, but
the girl these are not wearing heels in the clubs
anymore as a thirty four year old. Do we need
to come out of retirement and teach the girls how
to wear heels?

Speaker 5 (03:13):
We missed the club era. I'm really jealous of all
the people that really got to go to a club.
I can see what she's saying. But then girl like,
we didn't get to be in that. We go to
the bars, that's what we do. And also clubs are
so expensive, so like it's it's mostly old people.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah drinks.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Do you remember, like you ever see those like videos
from people like back in the day in the club
and it's like full.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Blazer and it's like eyelighter on, why are you dressed
business casual?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
In Olub's actually want try to step out, like in
a parent suit.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
And some heels.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's the millennial core and a millennial core that I
will ride or die for. So first part of the
video is about is the green dress or she says
what happened to the heels in the club? That trend
really did die And it's one that I said goodbye to,
peaceful and I've made amends with it because nothing to
me feels better than dancing and a sneaker. But when

(04:06):
I was in college, we wore five or six inch
heels to the dorm room parties and then into the clubs.
I feel like club culture in general has kind of
passed away unfortunately one maybe because of money too it's
become like brewery culture again. Millennial something, millennials popped off.
It's a phase that I miss that I tried desperately

(04:27):
to be a part of here in Cincy, just because
I don't know. It's in my bones, it's in my blood,
and we have some of it. I've gone to some
of our clubs here and they're good. But you look
down at someone's footwear and they're not wearing heels, that's
for sure. Second part of the video is them giggling
at the millennial core, millennium, millennial core. And I'll tell

(04:47):
you this right now. I'm going to open up my
phone line. Talkbacks never die, so you can jump in
that way. I want to hear what some of your
cringiest millennial core trends that you missed or that you
just are triggered by. Butterfly clips have come up, the
juicy track suits have come up. I heard her try
to come for the statement necklace in that video. I

(05:08):
saw one the other day that had me in tears,
and that was the sock bun. Nothing in this world
said I'm going out harder than a blazer and a
sock bun and a statement necklace and I have the
Facebook photos to prove it. Good morning that you're waking

(05:39):
up with TIF in the morning on Kiss ONUE oh
seven one. When you come for the millennial statement necklace,
you get this in return.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Sunless tanning. When I was in college, there was a
tanning salon that had fifty tans for one hundred dollars,
so it's two dollars a tan. So every weekend, my
friends and I we would go get tan and we
would gel crunchy all our hair, and we have crunchy
skin and crunchy curls and wear gaucho pants. It was
a hot time. Thanks.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Thank you for the talk back with sim When you
search kiss on the Iheard app, that's how you contribute
to our content and our conversation every morning. The microphone's
right next to the play button. Just hold that down there.
We're in the midst of talking about millennial trends.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
And it's the second time this month.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
That I've had to do this, but this video has
finally come across my feet, at least in the woman
in the green dress where she's talking about how no
one wears high heels in the club anymore, and then
the response to that was like, well, we also don't
wear statement necklaces and blazers to the club anymore. You
don't see anyone repeating that trend. And I said, listen,

(06:42):
the millennial statement necklace will forever live in my Facebook memories.

Speaker 7 (06:47):
Anyone remember when chokers were in because I used to
wear one to elementary school.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Tablet that's such a good one.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
She also mentioned gaucho pants, which the level of swag
I thought I had in middle school when I had
a gaucho pan on was just unmatched.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
I graduated high school in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
And all I remember is those.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
Sophie shorts that everybody wore and like rolled them at
the top like four times to make them shorter.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
That's a great thing to bring up, especially right now
because we're in the middle of the Olympics and gymnastics
Tuesday nights the final and gymnastics was really where I
think Sofie or Sophie shorts were born, either there or
the boardwalk of some beach city that you would visit.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
So I was born in ninety seven, so I was
just a kid with all the early two thousands trends.
I remember them, but I wasn't participating. But in the
twenty tens.

Speaker 8 (07:48):
I vividly remember gladiator sandals that would like strap you
in up to your knee, and we thought those were
the cutest things on the planet. And I just think
they're heinous.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Now.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
By the way, green dress, statement, necklace, I don't care
whatever word you want that is in the same vein
of this is the keyword you're gonna need to win
the Voices of America Music Festival Passes for the four
days coming up here in just a few minutes.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
We got time for at least one more when the
movie Save the Last Dance came out. Oh my god,
it was huge.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
You're waking up with siff in the morning on Kiss
one O seven to one.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Oh, I'm giggling from your millennial trends.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
If you have the keyword, go ahead and start dialing
four days worth of Voices of America Music Festival passes.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Dipplow is going to be with us, Sam Hunt.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
If you haven't gone to a concert yet, this is
a great way to knock it all out in one weekend.
Not this coming one, but the next five one, three, seven, nine,
one seven one. If you have the keyword, good luck
and while we await collar ten. I want to revisit
a talkback that we just got about cringey millennial trends.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
When the movie Saved the Last Dance came out.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Oh my god, it was huge. It was so big.
And you know why.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
It's because if you could dance during that era of time,
you had status.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I say this all the time.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
The world's problems in that timeframe were solved on the
dance floor. If you had a problem with someone, you
didn't post about them. You said, I'll see you on
the df baby commercial free.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
In the meantime, Good luck, collar ten.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
You're waking up with SIF in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven to one.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.
I sure do it is gress. Congratulations. You're calling ver
ten and you got the keyword.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Whoa, let's go. You're going to the voices of American
Music Festival.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
My friend.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Oh, that's the best way to start my Monday morning.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Heck yeah, what's your name with neighborhood? Are you waking
up with me?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
And my name is Austin.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I'm waking up for you over at in Ohio?

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Oh, keV, no idea? Where that is? Should? Okay?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Okay, I can say, Harrison, do you have a millennial
trend that you want to contribute to? Did you pop
your call or what were some of the things that
you remember?

Speaker 6 (10:17):
Oh, millennial trend is definitely the lanyards.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
We were always wearing the lanyards to carry or keys.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
And our hall pathes and our.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Id cards that via Bradley lanyard. Man, she had a
time at least at my school. I don't think yours
was Vera Bradley, but mine was not.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
But all the girls it's definitely were Vera Bradley.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Well as they would say very badly. Well, thank you
for being so engaged.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
I appreciate you listening to Tip in the morning man,
sounds like you do so a lot. Yes, I sure do,
almost every morning.

Speaker 1 (10:52):

Speaker 1 (11:01):
You guys kill me, I Love you.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Coming up in two songs, I have the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Cincy.
The unexpected moment for me at the opening ceremony was
the fact that Beyonce was there.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I'm not there but contributed. I loved that.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I'll have that and others and like I said, three
things you need to know next, my gentlemen's
