Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Janatan j Rod's second date update
on kJ one O three. Cassie from OKC, let's get
you another date with Jeff. Okay, welcome to the second
date update.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Okay, I just wanted to say, I'm really embarrassed but
I'm doing this right now. But I get you guys
taking my call.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
That's what we do. Yeah, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
So I went out with this guy, Jeff, and we
met at a happy hour and he was really cute
and the date was good.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
We had a couple of drinks, you know, some appetisers,
really easy conversation, you know, very interesting guy, and he's
just really nice and we had a blast. So I,
you know, I'm definitely thinking I could date this guy.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, and that night I had to leave a little
bit early because my friend was having her bachelorette party.
But I wanted to make it clear that I was interested,
so I told him, you know, let's see this again soon,
and he said absolutely. So I thought, you know, like
a nice hug at the end of it, no kiss
or anything. I got a really good feeling from it.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Okay, So so when did it go bad?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Ever? Since then, he's been weird. He like was texting
a little at first, but now he's pretty much just
ignoring me and won't commit to going out again. And
I can't even at this point get him to call
me back at all or text. Like the last few
days it's been like not returning my calls and not texting,
and I don't want to be creepy, and you know,

(01:32):
so I've kind of stopped.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I don't want to be creepy, So I'll have the
radio guys, is.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
There's something that I'm doing wrong? I'd like to know
because I'm I'm out there and I'm dating and i'm,
you know, trying to find a relationship. So I don't
know what did I do wrong?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Did you really go to a bachelorette party?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Okay, because that was kind of my thought is maybe
he thought that was.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Your out out party. This one's interesting.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Okay, we're gonna get Jeff on the phone here in
a few minutes.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Now what the hell you did?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
We'll find out what change from the absolutely to them.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Now I'm ignoring Cassie. Okay, all right, we'll talk to Jeff.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Next second date update kJ went O three TJ Janet
Jay Rode in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
It's TJ, Janet and Jay Rides. Second Date update kJ
one three.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Okay, Cassie from Okay see one on a date with Jeff.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
After the date, she said, hey, let's go on again.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
He's like, yes, absolutely, and then turned into a ghost,
apparently because yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Just disappear. Jeff is on the second date update.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
We're trying to figure out why you don't want to
go out with Cassie again.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
I really like Cassie, but but.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yeah, now, but okay, I really really did like her.
I mean she's gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I mean that's where I talked to her, you know,
in the first place.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
Okay, Now, but the more I talk to her, I mean,
the less comfortable I was.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I mean, Cassie is like, we're perfect.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Why, oh no, what do you mean by that?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Here's what I'm talking about. She volunteers for charities, okay,
and that's typical, you know, like, Okay, that's cool. But
she started like her own business, which she's like ultra
like successful at and she's got all this money. Anyway,
she's like this national merit scholar.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
She was like this all state tennis not only that
volleyball player, you know, and she modeled her way through college.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
So I mean, I'm sitting here listening to her like
go on with like all this stuff, and I'm like,
oh my gosh, what in the hell am I doing here?

Speaker 3 (03:41):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (03:42):
Yeah, Like, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm confident, Okay,
And I'm like, I'm sitting here listening to this, and
I'm like, there is no way I'm setting myself up
just to be like totally demolished.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
By this, yeah and shot down by Why do you
say that? Like she's too good for you?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Yeah, I mean kind of yeah, you know. I mean,
I'm a dude that works at a restaurant.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
You know, and I don't really have all of that
going on, you know. I mean I think that I'm
successful in what I do, but I don't have what
she's got going on. She's winning, Yeah, fit in a
bucket compared to her.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, Okay, So so you think she's gonna wake up
some day and go, oh my gosh, what if I
look at what they with him?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Exactly?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Okay, Okay, Cassie's on the phone.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
She's right here, Cassie, Are you too perfect for someone
like Jeff?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You know, I don't get my guys have a problem
with successful women. I have so many guys they get
scared away because they say, I'm too perfect? What does
that even mean? Honestly too perfect?

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Everything you do is a success? Okay, I mean.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
You're the problem.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Probably the most beautiful girl in the city, and I'm
willing to put money on that.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Okay, but it's like it puts a lot of pressure,
you know what I'm saying, to just match that perfection.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Well, I appreciate your compliments, I seriously do, but I'm
not perfect at all. If I was perfect, I probably
wouldn't be single.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I'd be capable of Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
But Cassie, here's the deal. And you hear about this
a lot. You know.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
It's funny that that you, you know, you talked to
many a guy will talk to some girl that they
knew at high school. Yeah, and they'll be like, oh,
why did you ever ask me out to be Like,
I couldn't have gotten you.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
You were beautiful, you were yes, you could have it.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
That that guys get scared off by a woman that
they think, wow, there's nothing this woman's gonna.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
One day go oh gosh, who am I with? Here.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, no, And you know it's it really sucks because
the only guys that aren't afraid of me are the
guys that are so self confident and so that I
can't stand to be around. Then, I honestly am just
looking for a guy who's nice to people, and Jeff,
you seem to be. You're really great looking, and more importantly,
conversation was easy, or someone I could talk to.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
And Jeff, go out with one more date with her.
We'll even pay for it. You need to try this,
I mean, I.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Guess so it's if you want me to tell you
all the bad stuff about me. I mean.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
That she's going to tell you everything bad life that
that would be awesome, Okay, awesome, I mean, gosh, she's gorgeous.
Can we come on?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Okay, we're for it.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Come on, okay, Jeff and Cassie hold on a second. Well, well,
you know, we'll hook you up and we'll send you
guys on another date. I think this is gonna be okay, Jeff, Okay,
And I'm someone that I'm like you, man, I'd get
scared away by pretty girls.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I do.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
I'm like, you're scared away by anyone I do. Why
Why does this? Why does this woman want to talk
to me? I?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Okay, hold on, guys, and good luck, Okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
A lot of people are like, well, I shouldn't get
this job. It's too good to be true. I shouldn't
get this I shouldn't date this person. He's self sabotage.
They're way better than I deserve. It won't last. This
could never have.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
You know.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Listen, some people, like my wife.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
They don't know that they way way better than the
guy they chose.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Okay, let's not tell them. Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
And if you're like my wife, you know who has
a lot of friends that might have told them you
move them away.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
But also it's it's to be with somebody like that
sometimes makes you a better version of yourself. Absolutely, that's
kind of what you want to be with, somebody that
makes you do better.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
And she's humbly awesome. I don't four or five for six,
L one or two seven.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
If you think there's a chance this works, or if
it's like nah and she is too good for.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Him, let's talk about it. kJ Weddle three, T J
Janet and j Rod in the morning
