Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Janatan j Rod's second date update
on kJ one O three. We got Jacqueline from OKC
on the phone. Hi Jacqueline, Hey.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Dare, good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
It sounds like you had a really fun first date
with Mason and here we are on the second date update.
Haven't gone out again. But what did you tell everyone
what you did for your first day? Because it sounds
like a really cool date idea.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, it's probably one of my most favorite dates ever.
Mason and I we went bar hopping. I know that
sounds crazy, but it was so much fun. It was
a Saturday afternoon and we just hit up a few bars,
and we mainly went to places to Midtown and downtown
that we'd never been to before. And so like we'd
go have a beer, and then we go the next spot,
(00:44):
go have a drink. Here, go go the next spot.
So we probably went to like five or six different.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Bars, damn. And yeah, it was so fun.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
I'd recommend it to anybody.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, and on a Saturday afternoon when like you kind
of have the whole bar to yourself.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Yeah, take the street car yeah very cool.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah. Okay, So and then how how was the connection
part of the date?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Oh it was so good. Like we got along so easy.
We were just having so much fun. It's like it's
like what a first date should be, should be having
a good time getting to know each other. And like
we would go into one place and he'd tell me
about some other place and be like.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Oh, we need to go there sometimes, and so.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Like I was totally excited that, you know, we were
going to go out again.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, yeah, that sounds like he wants to go out again.
Where are we now? Yeah? There?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Well yeah, and unfortunately no, I sent him a text
and I'll like, hey, you want to hit at one
of those other places that we talked about? And his
text back was no, I'm good eoh yeah, it's brutal.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Either I'm good I've hit up too many bars lately,
or I'm good not only in another day with Jacqueline.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah, yeah I don't. And like I've texted him a
couple more times, so kind of like a loser doing that,
but he doesn't even reply.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
OK So the last time you heard from him was no,
I'm good. Yeah, Okay, that's it.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
All right.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
It's been real and it's been fun, but not real fun.
Apparently we got to find out what that means. We're
gonna get Mason on the phone and just ask him. Okay, okay, right,
we'll take a break, play a couple of songs, get
Mason on the phone and say, what's your deal man?
Mason with the second date update I kJ well three,
TJ Janet and J Rod in the morning. It's TJ,
Jannet and J Rodd's second date update on kJ one
(02:30):
O three. So Jacqueline from OKC told us about this
great date she had with Mason bar hopping throughout like
what midtown downtown thinks. She said, yeah, bricktown whatever, five
or six bars. They went out bar hopping on Saturday
afternoon and it was great. It felt like there'd be
many more dates, except for when she asked be a text,
(02:51):
he said no, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah, I'm good.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, and she doesn't know what happened. So we got
Mason on the phone to ask him for the second update. Hi, Mason,
how you doing.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, I'm just I was surprised that she would even
reach out or want to be interested in going out
to you again, just because of how it went down.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Well how did it go down?
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Well, every everything was actually really great. And uh at
the end of the night, I just went in for
a hug, and she like got like defense, like in
like a defensive position, and like got real tight and
tense and like didn't really want me to hug her.
So I assume that, like we were in a date
situation and there there was a mutual attraction between us,
(03:36):
or if we liked each other, she would have at
least hug me. I didn't even try to kiss. It
was just a plane hug.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Ouch.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Yeah, what'd you do?
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Ouch? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, I don't want to feel like that again.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Let's get Jackuline. Jacqueline's on the phone, Jacqueline, get in here, Jacqueline.
Did you squirm away from his hug?
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Were you like, no? Let me okay, Nasa high. First off,
I don't think you're gross.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I'm totally attracted to you.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Okay, yeah, yeah, But think about it. We had just
walked like five miles all day in a hundred degree
heat and guts. I mean we started at Midtown, walked
from bar to bar until we got to almost brick walk.
You walked, okay, and it's hot.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I don't understand like I could have you could still
could have hugged me.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
We were sweaty and gross, and I'm pretty sure we
both smelled really great and you know, not knowing you
that well, I didn't. I got a hug with a
little like, you know, too soon under those conditions. You know, stinky,
it's sweaty and okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
You're like, I have a tank top on, not enough
deodorant for all this walking and sweating. I'm gross, You're gross.
I don't want you to smell. Yeah, nobody wants a
hot arm pit on their shoulder, you know what.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
I like, that's that's gross.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
I personally wouldn't have cared.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
I would have.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Hugged you the matter.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Well, that is very nice of you, but really you
don't want to get that close when I'm stinky?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Maybe? Yeah, would you want to beat up again? I mean,
not so stinky, maybe like lunch today or something. You know,
I want to go out and lunch.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I do have plans, you know, I'm going to make
it happen. I mean, I really would like to see
you again.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
So that means she's gonna go home put on more. Yeah, well,
I'm ready to get steady with you. How about that?
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Didn't you didn't even need us.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
I know you guys, I mean we do pay for
the second day.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, we're not paying for the room though, you guys
gonna do that. So we got a second date here,
We got a second date.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Ye I will I will totally tell him next time.
I'm too sweaty for a hug, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Okay, Well, guys, have good I think you guys are
gonna be okay. All right, thanks for coming on the
second date, up date. Good luck to you too, Thank you,
thank you. I always warned people, I just like, you know,
see a friend coming for a hug, just let you
know I stink it. Oh my ba's probably wet, just
to tell you it's sweaty. That's that's really gross.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
The warning, because there's nothing.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Really it's gross.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
If you go to hug somebody you're like, yeah, and
on a date, you know, I could see her going
I don't need this guy touching me.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I'm gross. I'm disgusting.
