Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Janatan j Rod's second date update
on kJ one.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Three Jacob for more. We want to get you a
second date.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
We need to do it now because you guys have
a date coming up this weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Is that right? Wow?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (00:13):
Actually, tomorrow night we were supposed to be going out
on a date. And I was actually the one who
asked house and out for our first date. We met
for just a couple of beyers.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Was not a big deal.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
It's like a simple date. And then as the date's
going on, she said something about going out again, but
this time for dinner. Cool, So I was just like, yeah,
that sounds good. I told her to pick a place,
and we took out some sort of time for this
coming weekends. I've been trying to just text her this
whole week to figure out where we're going and what time,

(00:51):
things like that, and she's just not replying. Even when
I asked her if we're still meeting for dinner, She's
just not replying.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
So you could take a hint that maybe she's not
interested or come on the second date.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Update right, Yes, Yeah, I mean I'm not stupid. I'm
pretty sure we're just not gonna be going out smart night,
but you know I'd be thrilled to know why.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay, all right, well that's how this works.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
We'll get Allison on the phone and we'll just ask her,
uh so hold on a second okay, all right, talk
to her next for the second date up date kJ
well three, TJ Janet Jay Rod in the morning. It's
TJ Janet and Jay Rod's second date update on kJ
one O three.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Allison. Yes, okay, so you're like, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, Jacobs said, Yeah, Jacob said that he asked you
out for a first date. But on this first date,
you said, hey, next time, let's go out to dinner
next weekend, like you mentioned that, and then now like
you won't return his messages and he's like, hey, it's
almost next weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
What are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Well, on our date last week, he told me to
pick a restaurant, but then he added nothing where I
have to get dressed up because I don't own any
dress clothes. And when I like kind of pushed on that,
I was.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Like, you mean he ducks, is that tie.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
That sort of stuff? And he said all he owns
is jeans and T shirts. So next date, I wanted
to go on involves a little more than that.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay, So, so he just doesn't own any dress clothes,
like he doesn't just want to wear or he doesn't
want to dress up.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, I don't want to dress up.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I asked him how he goes to weddings and to funerals,
and he said he straight up doesn't.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
His exact words.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Were, quote, I'm not dressing up for nobody. So I
really want someone who's willing to clean.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Up every once in a while. Okay, well do you
want you don Jacob? Jacob's on the phone, Jacob.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
So you don't own any dress clothes. You're just like
I got jeans and.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
T shirts, I mean pretty much. So what's everybody just
dressing up before?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I mean to go out to go to event?

Speaker 5 (02:58):
But they I mean I could.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Wear jeans and T shirts to everything I want to
go to. Where are you going that you have to
get dressed up all the time?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I mean not all the time, but like to go
out for drinks or to go to a.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Friend's wedding, I'm fine with skipping the weddings.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Wow, ye fat dude, let's do it seriously, we're solving
some problems here. I don't have to go to the
wedding if I don't buy any dress up clothes.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
I want to go to the wedding and I want to.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Date for the wedding.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Jake a friend, Jacob's fine with this, Allison, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Fine with it.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I'm somebody who likes to get dressed up every once
in a while. I mean a lot of girls do, Jacob.
Don't you like to clean up and feel good about yourself?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I feel great about myself, first of all.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I feel why don't you have dress clothes?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I just I'm a hard working American. I work a
manual labor job all day and the last thing I
want to do when I get home is go and
put on uncomfortable clothes.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
You want to be you want to be comfortable. I'm
not going to argue with that.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Dressing up doesn't have to be uncomfortable. But honestly, it
sounds like you've made up your mind and would rather.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Look like a slob.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Okay, well, if your definition of looking at your swabs
wearing jeans and a T shirt, then yes, I would
rather look like a slob.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I'm starting to buy into this, Jacob. I'm starting to
buy why do I have dressed clothes. There's no reason,
no need, because.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Sometimes your wife wants to get dressed up and go out.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Let her go, well, let her go out, Okay, Allison,
he's fine being a slob.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Obviously.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
You guys aren't going out again anything else before we
let you go.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Nope. Good luck with your dreams in a T shirt life.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Thanks okay, all right, thanks for coming on. The second
eight update by Allison. Okay, Bye, she's breaking up a
little bit. Okay, you know what, Jacob, I'm going. I'm
gonna give you credit and you're like, no, this is
who I am. You don't like it, go out with

(05:09):
someone else.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
There, you take it or leave it. You're going to
leave it.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
She.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
You know, why waste all this money on dressed up clothes?

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Right?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Really?

Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
You know one pair of even Walmart slacks. It's probably
not going to set you back too much.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Why do you want to come home from work and
be uncomfortable in Walmart slacks?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I foind Jacob. Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
It's one sloppy guy to another. I mean, not slap.
I'm sloppy. There, I'm sloppy. You look great, Okay, Jacob,
Thanks for coming on the second eight up date.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I'm totally starting to buy into this.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I'm buying into this, you know what, And what's great,
Here's what I love about my wife, Sarah.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
She has dress up clothes. Dress up clothes, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
But rarely, if ever, in fact, maybe never has she said,
you know what, let's get dressed up. Let's go somewhere
tonight where we have to get dressed up. She's never
said that.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
We Yeah, because you guys regularly do go somewhere that
you are dressed up.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
That's what I'm saying. But but like, for instance's the
way Jacob is. He's like, if I can just avoid
all those places where I have to go and be
dressed up and just go to the places where I want
to go and not be dressed up, I'm living a
pretty good life.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Would you rather throw on a pair of slacks and
have a date with a girl or do.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
You want to sit it on by yourself?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I'm just telling you myself, I don't have to throw
on a pair of slacks ever to have a date
with my wife.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I never have to. I don't.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I do go to weddings, I do go to fancy places,
but rarely do I go you know what.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Tonight, I want to put on some slacks. I'm dressing up.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I never say that. It's always a chore, even to
do improv. I'm like, oh, I got to put.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
On paints tonight. That's what I'm saying about pains. I'm
just saying I'm buying into it. I'm not saying it's
right or.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Wrong, but I can see where he's into it.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
I'm just saying, you're lucky your wife's settled for you.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I am I'm lucky she settled for comfort, is what
what I'm like. But I don't know what do you think?
Four or five? For six oh one or two seven?
I mean, are you like Janet? We're like, well, good
luck finding a woman if you're not willing to get
dressed up.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Are you like he obviously didn't like her enough to
get dressed up?

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, don't go changing.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Why do I ain't gonna change for you because we
always gotta dress out.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I'm gonna go by dress clothes for a second date. No,
I'm out.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Okay, let's discuss this. Let's discuss the second date update.
kJ went all three, TJ Janet Jay Rod in the Morning,
kJ wentle three Oklahoma's in no morning hate music station
TJ Janet Jay Rod. In the morning, we did the
second date update, and the reason why Jacob was not
getting another date is because she wanted to go to
a restaurant for their second date where you had to

(07:41):
wear nice clothes.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
He's like, I have jeans and T shirts. That's it.
I don't go to weddings, I don't go to funerals.
Not going slaps for nobody.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, and I mean we're getting some comments on this.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Yes, Jack says, I don't have dress pants. Jeans and
shorts is what I have church or events. I put
on a button up shirt with my shorts or a jeans.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
You know what I'm not opposed to dressing up is
a collared shirt. Yeah, yeah, to go with the jeans
that don't have the holes in it.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
You know what I mean. This guy, Jacob doesn't even
have a shirt right now, and I'm not buying one.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Speaking of Jacob, your name is Jacob, different Jacob.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
But what did you want to say about this?

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yeah? I just I wanted to call in and kind
of side with a woman because relationships aren't always about
what you want to do.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Well, that's true. You are very right about that you know. Yeah,
in fact, one thing he said that.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
When you said that, it immediately took me back to
one thing he said, which is like, I ain't dressing
up for nobody. Well, then if you're not willing to
compromise on wearing, as Janet would say, a pair of
slacks from Walmart every once in a while, then then
it sounds like you're not one that compromise compromises.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
On anything exactly.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
So I mean, be happy being single, and you can.
It's way more affordable, no.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Way more affordable.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
I was on the other side of the spectrum not
so long ago, where I wanted to take my wife
out to Wolverine and Deadpool. I went out and spent
quite a bit of money on a blue and yellow
suit and bought her a very nice red and black
dress so we could dramatically go out and do that.
And she was not about it. She's like, I'm not
really comfortable in that. Yakay, while I was upset at first.

(09:23):
While I was upset at first, and she kind of
ridiculed me for my outfits that I did tell her
the theme, but I did not show her the outfit.
I'm also not going to ask somebody to go out
and be uncomfortable on something that I want to be important.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Sure, sure, okay, but I love that that's fun.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Wants to do that, have a good one.
