on kJ one O three, we.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Got Lauri from Shawnee on the second date update.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Hi, Lourie, Hey, Hi, how's it going?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
You know what? I don't want to call you this,
but I sense some desperation in your voice when you're like, guys,
I gotta come on the.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Second date update. What good? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
I'm just I don't know. I I have like the
worst luck with men, like in the past few years.
I don't know, like I'm serting to think I'm damned
or something.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Both yes, yes, okay, okay, Well then let's figure out
what's going on with Carson here.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Well thank you, because I seriously thought that it was
actually like a really good date, like either he's a
great actor or he actually was into me. And then
we went out to dinner and as soon as we
sat down he told me why he asked me out.
He said, I seem like a genuine person, right and
like somebody that goes with the flow, no drama, no
(01:03):
negative vibes, and like, I don't know, I know that
sounds egotistical or whatever, but I like to think that's
me like that, I'm easy going.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I don't hate on anybody.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Sure, sure, so okay, so he had you, he gave
you rave reviews pretty much so so, But yet you
guys haven't gone out since. I mean, what what's going
through your you know, your mind?
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I mean, you know that awful like you doing a
replay or play by play of everything you said and
did and touched and moved and so like. I like,
I'm like, okay, did I I shaved my legs? I
just showered, I brushed my teeth. I like nothing in
that department.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I know I.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Looked good in that dress because he even commented on
the dress like, So, I don't know. I don't know
if I said something on our date that made him
think that I was like all drama or like, because
I'm not drama, I'm all boring or something. I don't know.
I'm just convent.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Did you say you're ready to join a convent?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's never all right?
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay, okay, let's don't join the convent yet.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I understand the desperation part.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yes, yes, you're not the only one who can't find
a good guy these days, or one that you know
gives you.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
The respect you deserve.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Laurie.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
But we're gonna get Carson on the phone and maybe
we'll get you a second date here.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Okay, okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Okay, before you turn into sister Mary Laurier, it's.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
TJ, Janet and J Rods Second Date Update on kJ
one O three. Carson, welcome to the show. You're on
the second aid update.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I'm going to ask you Janed and J second date update.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Comment and how great she looked in her dress and
how you like her because she's no drama.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
You were saying all the right things. Did you mean it?
Or why are you a good actor?
Speaker 4 (02:58):
I mean yeah, I mean then she ordered her food
and was like can I get my sauce on the
side and no pickles or tomatoes and don't even put
them on my plate?
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
You know, it's like Mile Lead. It's annoying, right, I know,
I'm being a little nitpicky.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, I mean, if that's your red flag, yes.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yeah, there's no grid or no go with the flow, right,
like rightening the food comes and of course right there
are pickles and tomatoes on her plate. They're not touching
her burger or anything like that. They're just on her
plate and she's like, she's like.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I gotta send this back, and like.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Apparently if a pickle or tomato touches her punch, she
can't eat it.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Like, I don't even I don't get it after right.
I even asked her, you allergic to pickles or something.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
And she said, no, no, but I hate pickles. Like, okay,
I'm thinking just cut off that part of the bun,
pinch it off, whatever you did, or just swallow swallow
that pickle that you don't like. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, she sent her burger bag if they just they.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
Swapped out the bottom bun, brought that brother plate back
and then no, she sent it back again because it
was the same plate that she knew somehow knew it
was the same plate that had the pickles on it.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Laurie, come on in here, Laurie. Were you being dramatic
about the pickles?
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Or I don't ever see my food back unless I'm
super specific about my order and they don't listen, Like.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I understand if they don't, you see, okay, if they
bring you the wrong order and it's undercooked or something,
and I understand that I totally do, right, But but
if it's a pickle touching your plate and you have
to send back the whole order.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Look, dude, I don't like pickles, like you want me
to need something I don't like. You're not eating the pickle.
It was touching my bun, which I feel as gross.
And you claim to be so casual about drama, but
you're making a big deal about the plate. Everybody has
that weird eating thing. This is my thing.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Okay, you know Carson, that's right.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
You're no drama, but you're kind of bringing some drama
to to this what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Listen, I go with the flow, and the flow has
has brought this to my plate, so I have to
talk about it.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
I guess like being a big difficult customer.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Is a big deal like that that I wouldn't they
got my order?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Correct?
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Any chance that you two that we can get you
guys to go out, because literally, if this is.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
The only drama that ever occurs in.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Your relationship is she can't have a pickle on her plate.
I think you guys could like work that out.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
It's a pickle.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Carson.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Uh, honestly, that guy, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
No, I'm real good.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
You don't want to go now?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
No, next time you call so many difficult Carson, you
can go ahead and look in the mirror like I'm good.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Hey, I don't have any other interest in going to
a restaurant and watching a waitress have a mental breakdown
because of a pickle.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, all right, for Wow, you're gonna let this Wow. Okay, Carson,
it happens, but Carson, we're gonna let you go. Thanks
for coming on the second date update. Okay, all right,
see you later.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Whatever, Like, how much do you let people walk all
over you just that you don't have to do an
you think? Sure sounds like somebody who's trying to make
the least amount of ever possible to me to get
what they want.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
I got you.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Okay, Well, Laurie, thanks for coming on the second Date update,
and good luck with the man and the convey Yeah,
don't join a convent, don't do that.
