D was trying to bring it back in time, to
bring it back in for everybody. I read some of
the comments under this, d D of course is not
going to say anything about Lunell because Lunel is coming

in and she's going to be on for the whole hour. Well,
she's going to promote. We're gonna talk about shows, We're
gonna do this. I'm talking about things that's not happening.
That Lunell went left, that that wasn't good. That really
made me feel away.

I even put under the comments like, hey, guys, when
you're doing a live morning radio show, you usually don't
promote the guests until they get here, you know what
I'm saying, because you don't know what people are gonna
show up, and then even if they do show up,
they may show up, Blake, you don't know what people
are gonna go through. So you could be promising, hey,
this person's gonna come on the radio at seven o'clock.
They don't get there till seven thirty. Missed that time

So a lot of times in interviews, I know people
was telling me, well, this show does this and this
show does that. Well guess what them shows them interviews
be recorded. Y'all just don't know that exactly. And then right,
they're either not syndicated or those interviews were pre recorded. Okay,
and that's a syndicated show. You're talking about a show
you told you want us to promote that you're in Dallas.

I'm in ninety different cities, So the promo may have
went over in ninety different cities, it doesn't. That may
not have been relevant for the other eighty nine markets.
So it's a lot that goes into it. And Lunel,
you got in your feelings. But radio is done so
differently now and everybody doesn't know the inside.

Radio's done differently. And I don't think it's on you
to tell people how to run the show with Kik

you know, as a nationally syndicated talent, myself to.

You have to be mindful of how you promote different
things on different shows and I think, you know, watching
that clip back, I immediately felt bad for DDI because
as the leader in the room, she was trying to
real it in and you know, it was just a
lot of other things going on, and Lunelle's attitude was
very put off and standoff ish, and you know, we
don't I don't know Lunelle to ever feel act like that.

So I think Lunelle had a bad day, But I
do want to read Lunelle's response, because she did respond. First,
dd put out a video and was telling people explaining
her point of view as a as a talent, as
a radio host, and then she did mention that Lunelle
apologized to her off the mic.

So Lunelle did follow up and say, d D is
not lying. It went just like that.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
She said, I got triggered because I had already been
in a bad mood about Nolan Wells. She said, as women,
we fight so hard for our props and respects. It
was a bad interview day, she said, it wasn't the timeframe.
She do many interviews in the morning. Lunelle just felt
like she was in a bad mood and the interview
just turned out bad. So she apologized and she did
it off Mike to d D. But then she also

put it in a comments section online too so people
can read it. So I do want to give Lounelle that.
But for any other radio guests that will be coming up,
you know, radio personalities, I feel like we fight so
hard to share this platform with the people we admire
and love. Please come into the room with love. We
not on nothing, you know what I'm saying. We just
want to have a good interview, do a good job

at the you know. And so I just think for
any other artists to feel that same thing, I'm glad
this kind of happened because now they can kind of
understand the reason and the way. There is a reason
and way why we do everything. So no, I may
not promote you on your way to the radio station. Yo,
Uba might not show up, and then I'm dumb. You know,
I'm letting my listeners down. And they didn't even need
to know that. So both parties have apologized. It's been

worked out. But DEDI is a professional man.

Then you heard it, if you listen to it, I
hear it reeling back in, really back in girl. Then
and then you know, then she threw a thread out
and it's one of her co hosts who's not a
Hall of Famer, got upset. He's like, wait a minute,
we all got family, like, we don't need to do
all that. And I think, I just think that you
guys have I think because what we do seems so

regular in its sense, seemed like anybody could do it.
And DD makes it look super easy. The Breakfast Club
makes it look easy. All of the greats in this
business make it look like it's just pushing buttons having fun.
But we all do our shows a certain way. It's
a format to everybody's show. Everybody show has to follow
a certain format and it has to go that way.

And I think when people come in and try to
dictate or criticize, you don't know what's happening behind the wall,
it's not fair.

That's what made me the maddest. Yeah, it wasn't Lunelle
that made me upset when I made my comments. It
was not about Lunelle. Lunell apologize. You know, I do
a million interviews. I never had this issue. We cool, Lunelle.

her crew because they handling their business.

It's the people who don't know what the hell they

what they should have done and how they should have
promoted Lunelle. You don't think they efen know how to
promote Lunelle. And they've been doing and she's a syndicated
