Speaker 1 (00:00):
One o seven nine KBPI and your show time for
stupid stories.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeah yeah, you are stupid stories brought you buy.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Renaissance Festival. There are only three weekends left of
the Renaissance Festival. This weekend's theme is love and Romance,
which whatever. But next weekend's theme time travelers.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Really time travelers.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
So I think this is the one where you can
dress up as like Star Trek or something and come
and be like we've been beamed down from the future. Interesting,
So that'll be a fun weekend up there. And then
August first and second is the final weekend of the
Renaissance Festival.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
You never gone, man, you devil should experience it. If
you have gone, well you know what I mean, man,
I know it's hot out there, and like, as a
public service, I feel like a lot of the grocery
stores and wal Marts they should unlock the deodor at
aisle cause damn, you know, some of these things they
need to steal that as a public safety in one

(01:02):
hundred green temperatures, unlock the deodorant our Walmart.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Come on, let them steal the deodoran.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Especially at the Renaissance Festival. If you had a Kiosk
slinging deodorant. You'd probably make a lot of money or
they burn you at the stake. Either one. I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Get the spray deodorant, charge a bucket spray.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Like a misting table, but deodorant. People walk through it.
Just get mistid with deodorant. Everybody would be happy, be
a big hit. Just say it. But you should unlock
that all right, here we go. Man in Florida snatched
up a young girl, start running with her. You imagine
I kill somebody. Man, they try to snatch up Utana, Yeah,

(01:43):
Utana probably kill him. Uh. He eventually released her. While
police were chasing him, he briefly paused to do some
push ups in from a nearby car wash.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Oh, just doing some push ups, Huh.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I mean I don't think those cops are very fast.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Sameth Heads and Geordia tried to hide their stash from
the cops well by taking it into a shed, and
then they tried to burn it in a toaster oven.
Uh you met that man had a whole different line
of logic, Like man, boy, y'all don't think things through
all the time.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Do you burnt the toast it? It'll do it too,
burn down the shed too.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
All right? How about this. Here's something kind of cool
from natural light. It's called a cool shed. It's a
shed sized walk in beer cooler powered by solar panels
on its roof, and you can win it.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Oh that's kind of cool. What do you have to
do to win it?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Does it enter at the west site?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Called cool shed?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
And you can just put it wherever because it's got
solar panels. Huh, yeah, it's kind of It's kind of cool, right,
I like that idea.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, Kiah put these guys right behind forward for recalls.
They recalled four hundred and sixty three thousand tailorurides stuvs,
urging urging owners to ready for this park the vehicles
outside in case they explode. Damn, what what's going on
with that? Parking outside in case they explode?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
If it hails while they're expected to be parked outside,
do they get some sort of a body job on that?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I mean, at that point, I'm just hoping for the explosion,
you know, I'm just sitting her fingers crossed. How many kids,
come on, let's just watch the car seven explodes. There's
been enough of them where they order to recall that's
saying a lot. All right, y'all ready for the wild
beaver attack. A man in New York recovering after he

(03:39):
was attacked by wild beaver while swimming at Lake George.
Apparently this beaver just started non on like a gold
chunk of wood.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Aren't all beaver's wild? Yeah? I mean, well, I don't
know those there people domesticating him.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Maybe people domesticate the skunk. Why don't they do a beaver?
All right? Here you go something that this is scarier
than a beaver scoop. Legions of soft shell clams. Wow,
this is crazy. So signed is one that along the
West coast, legions of soft shelled clams are contracting a deadly,

(04:19):
highly contagious cancer.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Contagious cancer.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Huh, that's the last thing we need, contagious cancer. What
uh wait a minute? Daylight saving time, Well, it looks
like it might be permanent. House passed the Bible to
make daylight saving time permanent. Still needs to be passed
by the scent.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But that'd be nice, right, Well, it depends the way
that they haven't set up with that sunrise will be
at eight point fifteen in December here in Colorado.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I mean as.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Opposed to seven to fifteen as it currently with.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
But what time does it get dark at night? Probably
four thirty five ish, that's what time it gets dark now.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Right, So it'll push it off to five thirty.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah, six, I'd really have that.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I think I I'm up for a for a change.
I would like to see this as like a test run,
Like why do we do this for three years see
if it's better or not? Yeah, I mean, rather than
just make the change and be like, all right, that's
the way it is now.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Well, nothing's permant sure, so we'll find out they don't
like it in three years. Don't change it back all right.
Twenty six year old man at Tennessee got arrested. He
broke it to a Walmart last Thursday night. I guess
a few employees are still there. They heard the guy
smash his way in and going to a rampage. They
say he was going on a rampage damaging a bunch

(05:54):
of merchandise. So they instead of just handling the business,
they called the cops and hid cities anyway. CoP's found
a dude. He was naked pass outlining a pallid dog
food when they when they woke up I guess when
they woke him up, man bolted. I guess he ran
towards the clothing section. Maybe he gets some clothes. Un

(06:15):
but the guy he was cuff charged with disorder conduct,
public detoxication, vandalism, aggravated criminal trespassing, among other things. But yeah, man,
I don't know if he broke in naked, but more
naked made accomplishing more nowadays than ever before.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I'm you know, also kind of weird to break into
a Walmart, even after hours, because I feel like there's
always somebody in there doing stalking and stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Right, yeah, there is. Yeah, what those people were doing,
but you see what they did, there's only two or
three of them. They just ran called cops.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I if I saw.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
A naked dude or just the dude break into Walmart,
I'm I'm heading to the sporting goods. I'll get me
a bat or two and we're gonna go handle it.
I'm like, oh, perfect, right, just happened in Modesto, Californias.
This dude's facing federal charges after posting photos and videos

(07:07):
of guns on Instagram. Same in Sylvanna. Say, I'm sure
I nailed that. He's twenty seven chargers. Well, being a
fellon in possession of firearms after posting a bunch of
images on Instagram on June fourteen to sixteen. You would think,
if you're a felon, you're not supposed to have weapons.
The last thing you should be doing is posting pictures
and videos of you firing out guns on Instagram. Like damn,

(07:32):
you're so stupid. It's just like a whole nother layer
of stupid, Like damn, how gone can you be? Anyway,
officers tipped the traffic stop, but he led him a
brief high speed chase, and the pursuit was ended for
safety reasons. Shortly after that, officers found the vehicle abandoned

(07:53):
recovered nine firearms inside the vehicle.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Oh wow, many of the.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Guns matched those shown in his stupid Instagram photos and videos.
These guy's a more look. You can't have nine guns, bro,
nine guns? Uh?

Speaker 1 (08:08):
He misunderstood what the judge said. He said, you can't
have a gun, and he's like, well, then I'll have
nine or ten just for safe measure.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
You can't have a single gun, he said, I can't
have a gun, not several. Anyway, he's prohibited from possessing
firearms because of several prior felony convictions and criminal history
includes robbery with firearms. Yeah, so it convinced maximum penalty

(08:36):
of fifteen years, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars fund. Yeah,
when you're not supposed to have guns. Last thing you
should be doing is posting videos and pictures of you
blazing away on Instagram. Idiot? All right, And lastly, how
about this dynamic duo. Two school principles in Lake County,
Florida got arrested for dui charges after separate incidents involving

(08:59):
the same call. Now Christina Accolade and Jennifer Jamenez identify
themselves as principals. After being pulled over at two am,
uh huh, the cop asked Miss Jennifer if she consumed
any alcohol today because he could smell it. Her reply, yes,

(09:21):
I have, officer. Uh And then apparently Jeminas was driving.
She got out of the car and she told the
officer that her passenger was worried about her. When asked why,
she said, in part because they were both hide in
a totem pole of education. They were hiding a tolt

(09:44):
them pole of education.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Scoop, I like that description.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
That's hilarious. Two drunk women were hiding and told them
Pole of Education. They're both principals. One of them is
at one school and the other one's the principal at
another school. Now here's where it gets funny, because they
performed the field sobriety test and this uh jamnas On
woman was taking into Lake County jail. This Accolade woman
was deemed unfit to drive. Police made sure she took

(10:10):
a ride share home with her permission, and they parked
car in the area where lady pulled over. So they said, okay,
we're gonna leave the car here. You take a ride
share home and come to this car, you know, tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
In the morning when you're sober.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah. However, that didn't keep these ladies and well doing
the unthinkable. About two hours later, I was pulled over
Accolade in the same car, about two and a half
miles from where they were well pulled over the first time,
he said, why are you driving? Ifice draft said she
was trying to bel out her friend in jail. Oh no, yeah,

(10:45):
she said, like I'm not meaning to do anything wrong.
I'm way better. I had to perform the fields sobriety
test Accolade was arrested for DUI. Now both of them,
Accolada and Timna is pleaded not guilty DUI refusal submit
why testing. So yeah, whoopsies, both the principals got charged.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
So the first girl is still sitting in prison, and
all of a sudden she sees her friend like, oh,
you're here to bail me out right, No, No.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
I'm here to keep you coming.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Pretty it over a little bit, right now.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Here's what we're gonna do, like you dummy. Hey, we're
high in the total total of education
