the Division four District semi final action between Circleville and
Gallia Academy. I'm Chris posted join alongside by my father,
coach Lou Postage.

It's a great place.

The Southeast District has a wonderful facility to hold these
district games. And you know, it's always fun to come
down here. As a coach, I was able to bring
some teams down here and get some wins and also
some losses. But you know, for the players, it's a
fun atmosphere. For the fans at the fun atmosphere. And
tonight this afternoon, I should say we're gonna have a

good game here Circleville and Gallia.

First game of our doubleheader, not a back to back doubleheader.
Our next game will be un Yodo at five thirty.
But we got the number one seed in this district tournament,
the Circleville Tigers taking on the eighth seed Gallia Academy
Blue Devil. Circleville twenty and two overall, eleven and one
out of the Mid State League. They're head coached by

Yeah, they had a tremendous season. Twenty wins in a
regular season is a phenomenal record, and for the first
time in over forty years, they won a league title
and that was an exciting night. We were up there
to see that. So this team has had a wonderful season.
But we're starting another season here. Their first game of
the tournament is tonight. Gallya has already had won in

the books, so for Circleville, they want to get their
next chapter started off on a good note here tonight.

For Gallia Academy eleven and eleven on the season, six
and eight out of the Ohio Valley Conference head coach
Gary Harrison.

Yeah, and you know, this is a dangerous team. You know,
look at eleven to eleven, you're like, oh, it's a
five hundred team. But it's dangerous because they're young. A
lot of their players sophomores, few freshmen in there, juniors,
They only have a few seniors dangerous because they got
some hype and they got a tremendous point guard, which

a lot of things are going to go through him,
and if he can get going, then it could be trouble.

Those games where circlevill you just roll out the ball
and you're gonna win this one. This is going to
take a good Circleville effort here this afternoon to get
by this guy. Academy Blue Devils.

For Circleville offensively fifty six point five points per game,
defensively only giving up forty point one. Their last game
was back on February the twentieth. That was a win
sixth to forty two against Liberty Union.

Yeah, and talking to coach Callahan before the game, you know,
he said, you know, things have been going.

Well practice wise.

They took him to a couple different areas to practice.
Took them down to the OUC. Shoemaker Center and Chillicothe,
went to Ohio Christian University had a practice there. So
you know, change up the routine a little bit so
it doesn't get monotonous, and you know, give him a
couple other shooting perspectives and that's what you definitely need
here because that's the big adjustment people have to make

at this arena is the shooting backgrounds here for Gallia.

Fifty four point four points offensively defensively giving up fifty
point two. Like you said, this is their second tournament game.
Their first game was the district quarterfinals on Monday and
they beat Vinton County forty six to thirty nine.

Yeah, and again that was a good tournament win for
them against a Vican County team.

And they've got some size to them.

When you look at a team like Guy Academy, you
know they're going to go what six eight six', five
so they have a nice. Size but four circle Bells
Circle bill has that size as. Well but with that
size comes, athleticism so that's a big plus For.
