District semi final action between Zane Trace and Eastern Brown
High School. I'm Chris Postage, joined alongside by my father, coach,
Lou Postage.

two teams through yesterday and hopefully Zane Trace can bring
us another w for our station here in Tillicomy.

This is the four to five matchup here in the
Southeast District. Eastern Brown twenty and three overall, twelve and
one out of the Southern Hills Conference.

Yeah and again same conference.

Lynchburg Clay, who Zane Trace played in the first round,
comes from you know, similar styles. I think Eastern is
a little bigger and they've got a little bit better
scoring output, but two things they do well just like
Lynchburg Clay rebound be very physical, and they are balanced scoring.

fine for.

Eastern offensively fifty six point four points per game, defensively
giving up forty one point one. Their district quarterfinal game
on Tuesday was a win over Nelsonville, York, sixty two
to thirty eight. Leading scorers in that game, we're advanced
with sixteen and Dick with fourteen.

Yeah, and you know, like I said that, they got
a nice balanced scoring. You have Dick averaging eleven point
seven Pinkerton average and eleven point two vance averaging ten
point two.

Guys Clutchton and Florence both averaging around eight points a game.

So again, really nice scoring, uh, and they have nice size.

defensive end.

Zane Trace offensively fifty three point five points per game,
defensively giving up forty one point seven. Their district quarterfinal
game on Tuesday was a win over Lynchburg Clay forty
seven to thirty seven, leading them in score where they're
two big guys, Gunner mccallough and Grady Stewart both with fifteen.

a comfortable lead the whole time, it felt like, but
down the stretch where it seemed like Lynchburg Clay was
just hanging around you and Yoda really wasn't knocking down

the fourth quarter and they really struggled. I thought they
really didn't get the defense going. That led to some
offense for them, and I thought that was a struggle
too here tonight.

They got to get after Eastern Brown a little bit defensively.
I think there are times they can beat this team
down the floor and really hurt them, but they have
to be able to rebound the basketball to do that,
and if not, again, this is going to be one

This is the district semi final here in Divisions five
of the Southeast District. The winner advances to the district
finals to play Chesapeake, who is just victorious in the
first game here at Ohio University sixty five to forty
three over Wellston. At district final will take place on

here at the Convo. I'll tell you what, District Final
Saturday is a great thing here at the Convo when
they have multiple games. We've got a district final night
already set for us on Thursday night, but hopefully we
can get Zane Trace through to that. Another game in

action tonight is a district semi final matchup between Huntington
and an Eastern Pike. The winner will get the Peebles
Waterford winner game that was the first game at.

their tournament, able to get by the first game, and

really didn't get the defense going. That led to some

I think there are times they can beat this team
