tonight's tournament action and Division five of the Southeast District
between Zame Trace and Lynchburgh. I'm Chris posted Gelong, joined
alongside by my father Tonight.

It's good to be here, it sure is. I mean,
going back to back games. I know you probably threw
you off there because it seemed like we were just
on the air. But it's tournament time and that's the
exciting thing about this. We get to pretty much be
on the air every night, so you know, those people
listening in if you like to hear, that's a good thing.
If you don't, I'm sorry. But tonight we got a

great match up here at Zane Trace High School. We
got a team coming in Lynchburg Clay to take on
these pioneers, and I know the Pioneers are ready to
get this tournament run started.

This is the five to twelve matchup.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Lynchburg Clay comes in as the twelve seed, eleven and
eleven on the year out of the Southern Hills Conference
where they were five and eight. Zane Trace the fifth seed.
They were seventeen and five on the season, twelve and
two in the Sciota Valley Conference. Yeah, and you know
this is Sane Trady team, seventeen and five. Those five losses,

two of them came to Unioto, one came to Jackson,
one came to Fairland. Four very good or three very
good teams. So this team has been tested. They've had
some great games that they won as well. They defeated
a Waverley team here early in the season, so battle
tested team. And then you got this Lynchburg Clay team

coming in. Believe it or not, they're a little bit
of a roll. Won five streat games.

We look at Lynchburg offensively fifty two point seven points
per game, defensively giving up forty nine point one. Their
last game was on Saturday, that was a fifty five
to forty three win at West Union. As you just said,
dating back to January thirty first, this team hasn't lost
a game in the month of February. Wow, that's a

good thing and they want to keep that going. But
it's going to be a tough task coming in here
on the road first round of the tournament at a
Zane Trace team that can really light it up. So
that's going to be the big task for Lynchburg play.
Can they slow down this Zane Trace Pioneer team. Zane
Trace offensively fifty three point eight points per game, defensively

only giving up forty one point nine. Their last game
was on Thursday. That was a loss to Jackson fifty
to two thirty seven as their worst loss of the
season thirteen points.

right now. They've put some big name teams in the
loss column because of the way they're playing right now.
They're playing their best basketball at the right time of

a little bit. We know how well this Zaine Trace
team can play, how well they can play at home,

and we know they've got two guys that can really
light up the scoreboard and Gunner McCullough and Grady Stewart.
This is district quarterfinal action here from Zane Trace High School.
The winner will advance to the District semis to play
the winner of Eastern and Nelsonville. That game will be
played at Ohio University the Convocation Center, and that game

really ramped up starting on Friday, and we got a

here with Zane Trace, and I know they want to
