Wulz Detroit one O six point seven Detroit's wheels and
radio station.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Guaranteed humid. All right, welcome in six oh five Josh
Ennis Show, Josh and James Green Teens. Glad you guys
are with us today. I drove by the gas station
on my way, in the one right off of the
highway the area.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It's almost six dollars a gallon for that gas.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Of that gas really said five dollars mark.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
It said no way over the five dollars mark. Wow,
unless it's a typo on the big board there.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It's probably not. I better fill up today because it's
over by my house. It's still like below five.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
This one was five dollars and seventy nine cents for
regular card purchases. That's why all the people go over
to sheets because the gas is cheaper. And then if
you so I have still I'm in that thirty day
window of having the thirty percent off per gallon, which
is if you sign up, you get it for a month.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, I should go do that because this one that
just opened rip in my house.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, your wife was the house I know, So maybe
you should see if that still stands. Because you do
that and you get that blue gas. So you get
the little blue gas in that and it's like two
dollars and sixty nine cents a gallon. You go just
take that and start filling up little canisters like gas
cans and just store them poured them away.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It's ridiculous. It's almost six dollars. Where are we, California?
This is La. How much do you think it is
over there? Then nine bucks? Nine bucks? Wow? Ah, So
it's ridiculous. There'll be rough times for like uber drivers
and door dance drivers right now. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Look, I'm glad I'm out of the game. Yeah, I'm
glad I'm out of the door dash game. I got
an email a week ago from door Dash. It said,
today's the anniversary. It has been one year since your
last dash. You want to get back in. I'm like, no,
I'm good. I had a nice run. I ran a
nice little three month run of door dashing. But now
I'm out. I'm out of the game.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Like, I wonder if they're gonna be able to add
or they're gonna have to add some sort of additional
fee on there for like the new like a gas
increase or something like. Otherwise you're not making anything Yeah,
there's no way you can be making money.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
So that was gross anyway. Well, one thing that can
help is one thousand dollars. You'll have your first chance
to win a grand just after.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Nine o'clock, then ten o'clock, eleven o'clock, twelve o'clock. We're
on a rock. You'll fill up the car like three
times with that much money. And I know, wow, you
can do some things with it. Not much, but some
fill up the car. So a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Be listening for that first keyword just after nine o'clock. Today,
it's Friday. Hello, what do we do on Fridays?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
We play Minch Rider? That's what we do.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Why, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I did it one day and then I did it
the next stuff, and now I just do.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
It because I like it. Turn it up loud. We
are the motor City's wheels.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Oh all right, he a what let's go off the
let's go off the playlist of little Let's do that.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
It's Friday. We're gonna go into the danger zone. I am.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I'm going deep into the danger zone now.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yesterday we found out that David Allen codine the greatest
drinking song ever and the perfect country and Western song
is this?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
White was all I could do. You keep from cry.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
Sometimes the same, so useless to remain.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
They don't path to call me darling, darling, You never
reven call me by my name.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
We'll be singing soon. You don't have.

Speaker 8 (04:03):
Called me whiling Jenny, and you don't her call me
John Cry.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
And you don't.

Speaker 9 (04:21):
Call me merle Haggard anymore, even though you're on my
fad side.

Speaker 10 (04:34):
Everybody will let me, let me, let me, let me
let her, and.

Speaker 9 (04:45):
I never my news standing in the rag.

Speaker 10 (04:57):
Call me.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Talking on her.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
Last he ever.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Called well.

Speaker 11 (05:13):
A friend of my name is Steve Goodman wrote that
song and he told me it was the perfect cochri
in western song. I wrote him back a letter, and
I told him it was not the perfect contri in
western song because he hadn't said anything at all about mama,
her train, her trucks, or prison.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Or getting drunk. Not the perfect country was well.

Speaker 11 (05:39):
He sat down and wrote another verse to the song,
and he sent it to me, And after reading it,
I realized that my friend.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Had written the perfect.

Speaker 11 (05:47):
Country and Western song, and I felt obliged to included
on this album the last verse goes like this.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Here, I was drunk. My mom got out of prison,
and I wait to pick.

Speaker 12 (06:09):
Her up.

Speaker 13 (06:11):
In the r.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
But before you get to do the station in truck shed.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
R son, she let me, let me, let me, let
me let me.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I knew.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
NA was standing down the run, but he don't have
called me darling, jog.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Ever even.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Woever.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
All right, what are the greatest bar drinking songs?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Let's think about this now for a second.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven
eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven.
What are the best bar drinking songs? Like you're at
a bar, your white girl wasted, it's damn near closing time, whatever,
and this song comes on and it just brings the
whole place down, and you get a giant singalong.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
That has to be one of them. You never even
call me by my name, David allen Coe.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
That comes on at the bar. Everyone at least knows.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
The hook of that song.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Everyone, but tell me this eight seven seven nine eight
eight one oh six seven eight seven seven nine eight
eight one oh six seven, Or you can text to
the word Josh in your message to five one eight
eight one. What is the ultimate sing along at a bar,
everyone does it and it brings the house down.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
James thoughts, I'm trying to think. Man, don't stop believing.
Would that be one of them? I mean, that's when
he always hear. It's not one that I enjoying that
always comes on, But it is one of them. Yes,
it's just like the Tom Jones or is it? Which one?
Not Tom Jones? The other guy is Neil Diamond. Is
it Neil diamonds well, Neil Diamond Sweet Caroline Caroline? Yes,

(08:32):
that has been ruined by the Boston Red Sox. So
out of all the Neil Diamond songs.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
As we discussed earlier this week, Neil Diamond is one
of the greatest songwriters of all time. Although he was
not recognized by the New York Times list of the
thirty greatest Living songwriters, Neil Diamond has written some of
the most amazingly gorgeous and amazing and wonderful songs ever.
Sweet Caroline not being one of them because it's been
ruined by drunks at the bar and by mostly the
Boston Red Sox.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Another song you always hear people singing along to it.
The Garth Brooks, friends and low places. Let's see here wheels. Hello,
who's this? Yeah?

Speaker 13 (09:09):
I got the best song for this is Cornell?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Hey, Cornell, what do you got?

Speaker 13 (09:15):
How about some more David Allen code.

Speaker 10 (09:17):
D R You and K.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
When I want relief, I get dr you inn K
that one, Matty, it's my baby Less. I do it
almost every day. Yeah, A baby the man. See, that's
what I'm talking about now. But there's a difference.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Between bar drinking songs and like I'm sitting out on
the patio getting loaded on bush lights songs too. Now,
there's a couple of really good country ones, because you'll have.
One that I put on is Johnny Paycheck fifteen Beers.
That's one I like to put on too when I
go to the bar. Like the drunker I get the
more I put on the old touch tunes as it were,

(09:55):
But fifteen Beers by Johnny Paycheck would be one of them.
Let's see here looking at some of the text messages
coming in. Piano Man. Piano Man is a drunken bar song.
People know piano man. It's funny and I'm being a
hipster here, but that's another example of an artist that's fantastic,

(10:17):
and that song is fantastic.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Piano man is a great song.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
The problem is it's overplayed, and it's like if you
don't know anything else about Billy Joel and all you
know is piano man. I find that annoying. They're better
Billy Joels songs so that I get angry about that.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Let's see.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Well, now this is one that's more of a hockey
game thing, Like they do this in Saint Louis at
the Blues game, take Me Home Country Roads. I see
that in hockey arenas not here. I mean, I would
imagine if it went on people would know it. I
don't know. But in Saint Louis, like once a game,
during an intermission or during a timeout, they will play
take Me Home Country Roads and everybody will sing along

(10:59):
with it. So Toby Keith got a couple too. I
love a red solo Cup of Solid.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
That's a good drinking song too.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
You want to get in eight seven seven nine eight
one o six seven eight seven seven nine eight eight
one o six seven.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
It is Friday and the d oh just play some nickelback, huh.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
The Josh Innis Show Sports.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Alrighty, the d Troy basket bamb you know sucks ass.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Oh sorry, it's brought to you by DTE Energy. So
listening to this, Mike Valenti yesterday, these guys on this
show really hate.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Mason, are they really?

Speaker 9 (11:45):
Like?

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Who could hate me? They hate Mason?

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Like like what human on the planet? Like at that point,
you're just trying to be a dick if you hate
Mason Troy Basketball. God forbid, you have a pa announcer
that's known for something that brings attention to your otherwise
mostly crappy organization for the last two decades, like god forbid,

(12:10):
Like God, Like, I'm a miserable human, you know this,
I got bitch about everything, even I like Mason. It's
like I never thought I'd find somebody on the radio
that's a more miserable sack of onions than I am. Wow,
but this guy is just a miserable fart knocker, just miserable.
And I'm listening to this and it's like they just

(12:32):
ripped this Mason, Like, oh yes, Because that's the problem
with the organization is that you got a guy that
has fun and that people associate with the organization. There's
not one human in that arena that's like you know who,
as it kind of sucks and ruins the experience Mason,
single person, not one, not one person in that arena.
I was listening to him bitch about how after the

(12:53):
game Mason was yelling like Detroit basketball and it was obnoxious,
and they were trying to listen to the postgame interview.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
I'm like, shut up. I guarantee you everybody in that
building enjoys when you get one of the Troy, especially
after a whim and have a group of elimination.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
YEA like, shut up, Like, you can't be miserable all
the time. There's gotta be something you enjoy in life.
But not the dufest is on the sports radio station here.
It's a shame they don't have any competition. Put me
on it against those PUDs. I guess technically I am.
I don't get my ass kicked.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
But that doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Put me in the same format, then we'll see.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Anyway. Speaking of the Pistons, they are playing basketball tonight
in Orlando, and if they win tonight, they will play
a basketball game in Detroit.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
If they lose tonight, they might just hop on a
plane and go down to Cankon because they're closer.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
We still having all those issues in Cancun or in Mexico.
What were those issues. I'll just love of issues with
tourists and like getting a did or something like shootings
and stuff.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
I mean, that feels like something that probably would never stop.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I thought there was like a warning.

Speaker 14 (14:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Well, like I don't see those things. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
I try to focus on the positive things in life
that do you no, But I just didn't see that story.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
I just didn't know that was a thing. But that
is tonight.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Also, the Tigers were winners yesterday. Yeah, I said, shove
it up your ass, braves, we're gonna rally and win,
and they did. It wasn't a very good series for him,
but they rallied yesterday to get to sixteen and sixteen
on this young season, and they will take on the
Texas Rangers, who are from the Arlington area, which is

(14:41):
a suburb ish of Detroit, not Detroit, Dallas.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
I take that back. There's a new suburb in town.
It's called Arlington.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
No, that is in Dallas, Texas, which is a sprawling place.
At least all of our stadiums are in the same spot.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
You go to Dallas.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Their basketball and hockey arena is in downtown. Their football
stadium and new Baseball Stadium which is just an airplane
hangar is like forty minutes out of downtown like it
used to be here. I know, I get it. It's ridiculous.
You guys know that pain Unless you know you lived
in Auburn Hills. You're like, yes, perfect, we're living. But

(15:21):
if you lived in.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Like Sterling Heights or not even Sterling Heights would have
been fine for Auburn Hills.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Like if you lived, you know, down River and you're like, well,
I'm gonna go to the Pisans game tonight.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
It's a trick. But I mean then there was the
world of Joe Louis Arena and the Palace, like everything was.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Just all spread out in the Silver Dome and the
Silver Dome.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah boy, what a nice to get to the baseball
and hockey. Yep.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
So there you go, now that you have taken that
stroll out of memory lane about where the stadiums used
to be.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
That was sports and then way back of the day
that we were at the Olympia, that's not a lot
Tiger Stadium. I'd miss it, but I kind of I
wish they would have just kept it.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
It's the part of it there. Yeah, well I guess
the part of it. Well, here's what I think they
should have done. And this is a different topic for
a different day, but like you look at like Wrigley
Field and you're like they were able to maintain that,
and they maintained Fenway Park. What if, you know, they
wouldn't have let that ballpark just erode? And what if
they would have renovated it enough where it could become
this historic landmark that you can still play it, you know?

(16:21):
I mean they didn't, But like Camerica is fine, America's
just you know, your garden variety ballparks that you see
in every city. But imagine if Tiger Stadium would have
still been there.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I just think that wouldn't fit with the motive or
the storyline of what they wanted to happen with that
downtown area. Understood, I get it, But it would have
been cool, is all I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Oh, absolutely all I'm saying it would have been nid
Oh all right, anyway, so you'll have one thousand dollars
you could you might win it. It's coming up first
after nine o'clock today, and then twelve other chances. We
got a lot to get into today. This is a
very big radio program today. Why would you go anywhere else?

Speaker 12 (16:56):
It's a Josh Innis show on one of six point
seven w.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
L Detroit's wheels.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Mercifully. That is the end of Master of Puppets. This
is the Josh Ennis Show. I'm Josh, he is James.
There's going to be a Michael sequel. What already? Michael,
which was a gigantic kid. Obviously, it had the biggest
weekend ever for a biopick, even bigger than that of
Bohemian Rhapsody. It might end up catching Bohemian Rhapsody is
like the biggest biopick ever. Apparently, it left out some

(17:38):
important details about Michael Jackson's life, notably the diddlings.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
It's no good diddling kids, gotta right. I wouldn't do
it with anybody younger than my daughter. No little kids
gotta be big, holding them away from my daughter or
something like that.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Yep, there's no mention of diddling. Really, nothing bad at
all in this movie. I don't know if it shows
him getting his ass whipped by Joe at all in
the movie. Have you ever watched the Jackson's in American Dream?
So it used to be a staple. It was like
a made for TV movie about the Jackson family, like
a five part like a movie, not like a documentary,
but a movie. And it used to air all the

(18:16):
time on like Labor Day. It was either a Labor Day.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Or Memorial Day. I don't remember, but it'd be on
v H one.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
I think originally it was on like NBC or something, okay,
but it was like this, this like three four or
five part bio mini series about the Jacksons and like
just being like Michael getting his ass whipped by his
dad and then Michael's hair catches on fire in the
commercial and he's friends with a rat and then the
dad kills the rat for real. Well, yeah, that's where
the song ben Rit came from. You know the movie Ben,

(18:43):
which is about the mouse or whatever You realized. Well,
the song Ben, which was Michael's first number one hit
I believe, was about a mouse and he befriended this
mouse in their house in like Gary, Indiana.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Right, Yeah, and then like one day Joe.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Like, you know, trap the mouse and killed it because
it's a mouse, you know, still want a mouse in
the house, probably going after his cheese, probably, But that
one featured more ass whipping and a little bit more
controversy than this apparently, which was basically just two hours
of Michael's greatest performances ass performed by Jafar Jackson. Okay,
but maybe the sequel will go a little bit deeper

(19:17):
and maybe we'll get like some diddling stories, get some
more of the real story, which I doubt we will.
They'll probably just give you, like wherever this one cut off,
it'll be like the next batch of great Michael Jackson
performances would be my guess, like the nineties. But see,
the problem is the nineties get too weird because the
nineties Michael Jackson is mostly just diddling stories. Weird though, Yeah,

(19:37):
weirdo stuff, Yeah, like weird nose and bleached skin and
all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
What do they do? They wrap it up at the
point in the movie where the Pepsi call that burned
him up.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
And then that's two be continued. Yeah, how does he
recover from, you know, getting his scout burned by the
pepsi commercial? I don't know where that movie is because
I didn't see it. But if they're going to continue
this thing and go on into the nineties, like it's
impossible to make a movie that isn't weird. Once you
start getting past like nineteen ninety one with Michael Jackson.
Once you get past Dangerous, which was like the third

(20:08):
big Michael Jackson album after Thriller and Bad, you get
to nineteen ninety one, you get to Dangerous. That's when
the guy really starts getting into the weird, seemingly tons
of cosmetic surgery. Diddlan mccaullay Culkin. Maybe I think that's fine,
So maybe it didn't. But my point being in all
of this, it is impossible to do that movie without Diddlin.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Oh yeah, had another movie. It was the accusations and
stuff that he went through is such a huge part
of his life in his cris So how do you
do it?

Speaker 3 (20:38):
It's impossible to tell the story of nineties and two
thousands Michael Jackson without stories of Didlin.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
They got to mention the weird wife that he found
was Debbie Rowe. Okay, well obviously with a Priscilla or
Lisa Marie Jansley. They got married Presley for a little bit,
and then he he had a weird kiss on MTV.
I think the woman's name was Disby. This wasn't gonna
last it didn't on the baby outside the window with

(21:04):
the blanket on the head, like do you that? All
that stuff.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
But I don't think they're gonna do part of the story.
I don't think they're gonna do that. They're just gonna
find all the positive things from the nineties and and
do a.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Movie about that. Again.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
I don't know when this other one ended. It might
have ended during Thriller. As far as I know, I
have no clue. So but there's apparently already a sequel
in the works for another Michael movie.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
I have a feeling the sequel, if it touches on
some of this negative stuff and they want to be accurate,
it's not gonna do as well. And I feel like
they're not gonna do that because I don't think they
want to be accurate about the diddling anyway. You see
what I'm saying. I don't think that's gonna happen. But
what are you gonna do?

Speaker 3 (21:40):
You know, when you start looking back at these stories
of Michael Jackson and they're like, hey, you know he
was sharing beds with these random kids, and he would
be interviewed and talk about how like sharing.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Bear is the nicest thing you can do with someone.
It's left, it's nothing. You're like, yeah, he's a creep.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
But the parents like they just like fed their children
to this, this didling and creep. They literally we're like, well,
it's Michael Jackson. What's the worst that could happen? You
share that bed with mister Jackson. Well, I'll tell you
the worst that could happen, and your kids get diddled.
But they're like, but what's the best that could happen?
And it's like, well, your kids could get diddled, but
you can get some money out of it. And you're like, see, okay,
see aha, you get it.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Not diddle kids. It's no good diddling kids. You gotta
raise Saws said, oh, I wouldn't do it with anybody
younger than my daughter. No little kids gotta be big
holding them away from my daughter or something like that.
I will say, though, I do find it strange that
some of the people that are so hyped up and
excited about this movie are also some of the same

(22:39):
people that are very hyped up and excited about that list. Yeah,
you know, I feel you kind of weird. It is strange.
You're not wrong. The josh in is shown now at
eight seven seven nine eighty eight.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
One O six seven one O six point seven double
LLC Detroit t Wheels.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
The Josh is.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Brought to you by DTE Energy. Got this text message
that's not nice. Oh it says, listen you dB, when
you're playing a good song, stop interrupting it so that.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Person doesn't like me. What tong it was? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I mean it was at six point twenty two, so
it may have been nickelback. I'm sorry that I ruined
the nickelback for you, sir.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
I don't know. This is me and my girls song man. Yeah,
something in your mouth. I tell you what it was. Well,
that wasn't her thumb. I'll tell you this. People in
text message they don't like me very much. I learn.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
I guess I gotta stop reading it because the people
are the people are mean, well, because they're so brave
to send you at an anonymous tug.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Now said, hey, whatever, let's say it's fine. Not everybody's
gonna like people. I get it. And texting was like
what the internet is now?

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Yeah, basically, but if you'd like to text, and you'd
like to mess without a logarythm and put happy things
in there, yeah, you can text the word Josh and
your message eight eight one, or you can call eight
seven seven nine eight eight one O six seven.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Do you think I'm a douche like this person does?
Please let me know.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Text the word Josh and your message to five one
eight eight one, and I'll try not to ruin nickelback
for you. So you're lucky I even played that, because
we don't play nickelback except for maybe how you remind
me you're lucky that I fight the man. Yeah, try
to play a couple different songs every now and then,
and I get in trouble for you.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
And this is lively good on the line for your entertainment.
And what do I get from you? In return? I
get called a douche. So just remember that.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Whenever you're gonna hear your thirty thousand Metallica song today
or Lincoln Park, just remember that someone tried to break
it up with something in your mouth.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
And keep in mind when you want to hear that
Beavis a buttead drop and we get played yep, because
of you and your complaints. I'll stop done. I'm gonna
delete all these drops. Just remember that I can delete
all these I don't care. I don't need them, but anyway.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Also thanks to Tanya La Lan and everybody over at
Summit plays Kia in Auburn Hills. I'm driving this Kia
this week because I had to take Jilly's car in
to get some stuff done.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Yeah, and uh, dude, keys are pretty bad ass. This
is the first time you've been in a like since
I used to. I felt like I used to always
get the.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Kia Soul as a rental car, like the one where
the Hamsters were in the commercial. I'd always get a
green Kia Soul, but I think those things have kind
of fallen out of favor.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Plus, you're you're kind of a big dude to be
driving a Kia Soul. You know. It's kind of funny,
But I'm driving this Carnival. Simpson's really tall guy with
this small car. It is, so I'm in this thing
called like a Kia Carnival this week. It's kind of
like a It's like a cooler looking like family vehicle.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
So like you got like five kids and you're hauling
them all to their baseball game or whatever. There's a
ton of room in this bad way and it's got
one of those features where the odometer flashes up on
the bottom the windshield.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
You ever see those? Oh you got the heads up display?

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:03):
But the fighter pilot, Yeah, that's awesome. That's pretty badass.
I've never dealt with. I've never been able to afford
a vehicle that has that future. Well, you could.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Probably afford a Kia because they're affordable vehicles over at
Summit Place Kia. So I appreciate them for that. So
I've been driving that this week.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
I appreciate them for that too. That means I don't
have to drive over to your house in the morning
to pick you up and take you to work.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
I also may be driving this vehicle back over to
the Sterling Heights area because if my ticket that I
got the other day is correct, I think I actually
have to show up in court.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Oh, I think you might be getting community service too
if they give me community service for that stupid texting thing. Dude,
the ticket or what I've seen online, Well, my wife
sent us the story. Now you're gonna get one hundred
dollars fine and sixteen hours of community service on your
first defense. I'm going Look, So, I hope you like
reading the handicapped kids or cleaning up trash. Because you

(26:57):
got sixteen hours of that in your future. I think
I'm not look I'm asked can for some advice and
how to read the kids. I'm going to I'm gonna
call them today and find out what I need to do. Yeah,
I will get into that.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
I will tell you that the Pistons do play basketball
tonight as they try to save their season. Will the
Pistons win tonight, bitch, Well, we'll find out, and if
they do, they're coming back home for a game seven,
then all bets are off. We will see, but that
game is tonight in Orlando. Also, the Tigers are playing baseball.
They're at home against the Texas Rangers. I don't know

(27:34):
how I feel about the Pistons game, because I guess
they're better than Orlando, but they're not really that good.
I think they're a farce. Like I don't think they
have the scoring of the shooting to go far.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
They don't seem to be playing it Orlando.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Yeah, but Orlando's also not a great Like Orlando made
seventeen threes last game, they go a month without making
seventeen threes during the regular season.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
I don't have a feel for this game at all.
I wouldn't be surprised if they won or lost. I
know that's not really a hot take. I wouldn't be shocked.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
One way or the other. But anyway, that is sports.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
If you'd like to get in, the phone number is
eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven
eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven
is the phone number, Josh. It's me, your biggest fan.
You suck when you sing, and you are very annoying.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
You know what I'm calling off for the rest of
the day. Oh no, yep, now you don't. If you
don't like me, fine, just remember there's there's with me,
a world where I don't exist. Then you'd be sad.
That's what your parents tell you every time. Say I
hate you, Mom. It just demands that I wasn't here,
and you say that's not gonna happen. Then your mom dies.
Oh consider me your mom right now, and I'm dead.

(28:42):
You've killed me. No, that is three doors down. It
is the Josh Ennis Show. I am Josh, he is James.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
After nine o'clock you'll have your first opportunity to win
one thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
That might get you half a tank of gas.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Here in Detroit, as I pass to gas station earlier
this morning where there was five seventy nine five seventy nine. Gross.
That is wild, It is disgusting. But before we get
into that and continue to.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Bitch about gas prices and the fact that I may
have to do community service, I think you could do
a community service.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Let's listen to this story out of Florida where somebody
got plugged for doing something that, well, I think we've
all done at some point.

Speaker 15 (29:25):
Chaos over a cup a taco bell run turned violent,
sure did. A fastt employee is now under arrest as
well after dispute inside a taco bell in West Palm Beach.
The employee is accused of firing a gun during an
argument with a customer inside of that taco bell.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Well, I wonder what we argued over. It must have
been something very serious, probably, but.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
They didn't put this out of cream on there's the preview.

Speaker 15 (29:47):
Something very serious and it was apparently over dispute at
the drink station before it escalated into a confrontation and
it was caught on video. Police say the employee fired
multiple shots and one person did suffer a minor injury.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
So what was the well.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
The story Morning Glory was that this person had a
water cup, you know, like you go and say I'll
get a water please, and then shut the yeah, and filled.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
It up with Sodi pops. Oh, well you gotta put it.
You gotta put the moon mist or the starry in there.
So they can't tell the difference.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Well, I mean, maybe this person had his eyes on
him the whole time and it wouldn't matter.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Oh, maybe this is like a very good employee, you know,
so he's like, oh, you want a water cup. Well,
I just keep my eye on you because I know
how your teenagers work. I'm not somebody who believes that that,
you know, guns kill people. I guess in a technical
sense they do. But I'm not one of those people
that's a big believer.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
That, hey, guns are bad and we gotta get rid
of all the guns in the world will be a
safer place, you know, Like in Hazel Park. There's a
fence on one of these houses around one of these
houses in Hazel Park, and they always have political messages
on the fence, and one of the signs on the
fence says it's the guns. I don't believe that. I
believe it's the people. I think people are crappy people.
I don't believe guns are the reason why people die.

(31:00):
I think crappy people are the reason people die. Okay,
But in this instance, I think we've hit a point
where people are too quick to shoot people over nothing. Example,
somebody filling up a water cup with a swig of
Sodie Pop.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
That's a little that's a little far for me. It's like, hey, like,
how do you go from hey, put that water cup down,
bust buster to like, I'm gonna shoot you now? Like
maybe it's like the fifth time. Maybe it was a
fifth time they told him to quit putting pop in
the water cup. Maybe so, But I still don't think
that's shoot a do defense. Well, maybe it actually went off,
you know. Maybe no, he's brandishing the gun to scare them, like, hey, no,

(31:38):
I see you put delicious. No, I don't think out
new fountain from the Taco bell in that water cup
one more time.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
I don't think it was James. Now, you're someone who's
lived this life because you've seen people come in they
like when you were in Arizona doing that, you probably okay,
probably saw people wheezing the juice.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
I mean you saw it all. Yeah, people would come in,
they'd fill up their cup. They would come in with
their own cup. Yeah, and then they would put happen.
But they would be like, oh, this is a cup
that I bought yesterday, and they think they would get
free refilled.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Yeah, well they don't didn't think that. They were just
trying to scam. Knew it wasn't.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Yeah, well I guess what the story was. Oh, I
thought I could just refeel it. Okay, fine, that's how
it works. Fine, but you guys had a rule that
said you couldn't escalate things. So even if somebody came
in and stole something, And we made fun of that
rule because it's a dumb rule and theory, like, hey,
you don't stop somebody from stealing, that's dumb. But if
the alternative is, hey, let's shoot some guy for stealing

(32:30):
a swig of soda, Like I don't know that, Like
is there a middle ground somewhere here?

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Like it's not just let the guy steal everything, and
it's also not shoot some guy over some soda. I
don't know, is there a middle ground?

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Start to find it? I think this guy just thought,
like the taco bell soda was to die for. Well,
you like the Taco Bell soda, you're a big The
Taco Bell Mountain dew is like on a whole other
level of any other Mountain dews. So that's fine. I
just think there's got to be a middle ground.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Like now, at some point you gotta, you know, flex
your muscles and say get the hell out of here.
But like we're talking about a guy, and we've all
done that before. I had a buddy of mine, the
biggest cheap skate ever. He's a financial advisor now as
an adult. When we were kids, let me tell you
how cheap my buddy was because his dad was a
financial advisor to my friend Martin, total cheap skate.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
When we were kids, we would go into places.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
And instead of getting a drink, he would order a
glass of water and then he would he would put
the limon in there, start putting sugar and just make
his own limonade at the table.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
He was super cheap.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Or we'd like sneak in, like we would go into
like a like a Jason's Deli type place, like a
sandwich shop. Yeah, and they had, by the way, Jason's
Deli all time great ice cream machine.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
It's fantastic. I don't think there's any of those area.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
No, I don't know if there ever were or anything.
There's not a ton of them anymore. I wouldn't guess anyway.
But Jason's Deli was a chain when I was a kid,
and they had great ice cream too, So we'd go
in and he'd just sit at the table and he
would just walk up and just grab a cup and
just fill up my ice cream and not tell anybody.
I mean, basically he was a criminal, but like he
was a cheap skate and somebody had not going to
Walmart with this one was what he's gonna shoplift. Actually,

(34:09):
I'll tell you a quick story about my friend Martin,
who's still one of my best friends. So for my
other friend, one of our other best friend's birthday when
we were like ten, eleven, twelve years old.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
I've known this guy for thirty years.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
My friend gets a WWE rack Wrestling Action figure, something
like a Stone Cold or something. Is this ninety eight
ninety nine two. So Martin, my one friend, gives him
this gift for his birthday. We're all having a birthday
party at my buddy's house. That's a sleepover the next day,
nobody can find the toy because Martin has stolen it back.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Like, that's Martin. That's like one of my best friends.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
So he's one of these kind of cheap guys that
will go in and order of water and then fill
it up with soda.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Was your friend? Who's your friend? In Florida?

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Within the lands few days, my friend Martin got shot yesterday. Yeah,
now I know where it grazed my bullet. Yeah, well no,
but I mean these Now, there are some things that
people do that we used to do as kids, and
you go, okay, I can see why somebody would shoot you,
like when they do the ding dong ditch type of stuff. Yes,
Like somebody will knock on the door and mornway, you
knock on someone's door at two in the morning, and

(35:09):
that's that's a scary situation. That could be the strangers.
You can look out the window and there's a guy
wearing like a clown mask. You don't know you've got
here the door knock that early, you're just assuming you're
gonna die. Oh you're grabbing the baseball bat and you're like,
I'm coming for you. Like that's different, Like I've heard
stories of kids getting shot recently, like kids getting shot
doing ding dong ditch, which it sucks. But I can

(35:30):
understand why you're startled. You're at your house, it's two
in the morning, You're protecting your kids. People are knocking
on your door. That I can understand. I can't understand
plugging the guy because he's making like a what if
he was making the combination of every flavor of the suicide. Yeah,
we've all done that too, but I just I don't
understand the concept like that, you go from zero to
one hundred like that, like.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Hey, put down that soda to pop pop pop dead.
I think this this employee just needs a little a
little guidance and he is on his way to being
a man. You are management material. I like the cut
of this guy's jib. They just not at circle k okay.
They do not want to not allowed to be your
guns in there?

Speaker 3 (36:09):
No, nor are you allowed to confront anyone about stealing
any applebell you know, make a.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Run for the border. I think you allowed to be
in a gun over there. There you go.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Josh in his show one O six point seven w
l ll.

Speaker 12 (36:21):
Z twels that was David Bowie song.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Hey, Kurt, why don't you grow some balls and do
Space Odity? Now? That'd be that'd be a David Bowie song.
Can you imagine like Nirvana thied their powers up there, ladies, gentlemen,
crown control to may. So that's a David Bowie song.
It would have been a weird unplugged That would have
been awesome.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Actually, I would have looked back on that and gone,
you know what, I like Nirvana more than I thought
I did because of Space Oddity. It is a live
version of Space Oddity by Nirvana.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
That'd be fun. Like, wait a minute, you're just sitting
there unplugg he just did, you know, Like I know,
I was like Dean's beard or whatever, and you're like,
what is he doing? He's just stay on his heads down,
you know, like a floppy hair over his face, just
doing like you know, the alt rock guitar play thing,
where like your guitar is down near your knees, just
doing like a straight arm guitar play. And he just

(37:16):
starts doing like everybody's in the crowd like I don't
know what this is. Have you seen the unplugged? Because
he's in a chair the entire time. I'm awall, okay, okay,
I'm aware in my I got you, and here's what
would happen.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
I'm so unaware of what happens in an unplugged Hey,
have you seen the kiss unplugged?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
They're not wearing makeup.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
He's just like unplug word no, but it's how alt
rock of the early nineties works. Dummy, And all of
a sudden, he's that's David Bowie song. They're like, oh okay,
and like Dave Grohl pops up and he's doing the
countdown in the backgrounds seven. I don't know why that's

(37:56):
a great visual. Anyway, I'm a stop space outity. Right,
We'll listen to the whole thing and then I'll get
bitch dat for singing over space odity by Texters.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Get it from everybody I know. I don't know why
people don't like me. I think I'm a good guy.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
But anyway, so let's get an update on Jin Toong.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Oh can't wait.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
He is our friend who cooked up meth at Michigan State.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
Like Michigan State's Walter Way.

Speaker 3 (38:17):
And maybe this will answer some of our questions from yesterday,
like why is a thirty one year old dude just
hanging out at a university and why does he have
access to areas to cook up meth?

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Yeah, that was my main question. Somebody said, hey, maybe
he went back to school and he had to go
get his degree.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
My follow up question, or my second question, was how
many Asian guys have that Steve Perry haircut?

Speaker 13 (38:36):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Yeah, And these are the questions. All right, here we
go brand new developments. In East Lansing. A man was
found inside MSU's largest academic building with the ingredients to
make meth amphetamine. Wells Hall remains close tonight after that arrest.

Speaker 16 (38:50):
Earlier this week, and this is all happening in the
middle of finals at the Oh.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
No, how will the kids ever survive? How will they
pass their finals when Shin Tong has been arrested? Free? Hey,
justice for Shin Tong Man. I need my crystal mess
from Jintong so I can study tonight. Oh. I didn't
even think of it that way. Maybe it what's like
a study from my final? Maybe maybe there's some guy
who like it relies on Shin Tong's meth. Where's the
Tong tonight? I need a Tong man?

Speaker 16 (39:16):
And there are still so many questions about how something
like this happened inside of building at a publicly funded university.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
That is a great question, ma'am. I agree, that was
my main question. That is all well, I have two
questions and nineteen eighty three Steve Perry hare like, why
do Shintong looks like he looks like he's in the
o' sherry video, like they arrested should have been gone.

Speaker 16 (39:40):
On my Auncus Nikki went to each Lansing today to
try to get answers. Take a look at this sign.

Speaker 17 (39:45):
Wells Hall is closed through May one after a chemical response.
Now police say they found a man inside with chemicals
on him used to make meth. Now, students say this
has left them extremely confused. They couldn't even take their
final exams inside the building.

Speaker 18 (40:02):
Some unknown chemical that we're located in the building. Well
husband evacuated that student.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Mohita Kata r Moheita, quit your bitchin you get more
time to study for the final.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Mohita, let's chill. I just going to move you to
a different halls kids today, I mean, stop your bitching.

Speaker 12 (40:18):
Part of the alert that popped up on her phone Monday.

Speaker 17 (40:21):
She's one of many students still trying to make sense
of what happened on campus.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
Well, I think I can make sense of it. Guys,
there was a guy cooking up meth and then they
caught him.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
I know, but I can't wrap my brain around it.
I can't so confusing. I'm confused. There must be all
these myth fumes I've been inhaling here in this building.
I'm almost as confused as why my mom named me
Mojito Swells Hall. There's not really science she had when
the baby was conceived, No waste of amihidos. This is
my brother, Jose Quervo. Yes, he goes to Wayne State.

(40:56):
He couldn't get in here. Well, I figured it wasn't
something like that, but it was just very strange.

Speaker 17 (41:01):
Court documents say MSU officers were dispatched to Wells Hall
for a suspicious person, odor and substances on the floor.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
Officers, Well, that could just be anybody that was at
your circle, k Yeah, strange substances on the floor order, Yeah,
you never know. It doesn't necessarily mean meth.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
The guy that I got to kick out of the
dumpster every morning.

Speaker 17 (41:24):
Gen Tong, identifying him with his Also, like when you
say an Asian name like Jintong, you have to do
it like with a little steam woman like Shin Tong.
Identifying him with his expired msu ID, they see several
bottles of chemicals from bags he was carrying, chemicals they
say are commonly used to make meth. The chemicals caused

(41:46):
roughly twenty thousand dollars in damage to Wells Hall.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
Oh no, I hope the building survives. That's like, that's
Mohido's tuition for a month. I think they'll be able to.

Speaker 12 (41:55):
Cover specifically doors in flooring.

Speaker 17 (41:58):
Tong now faces felony charges, including operating and maintaining a
lab involving method fhetamine.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I still have no new information here. How did this
guy get on the campus? He was a former student
because he had expired ID I get that, but like,
I need more details. I need to know how you're
gonna have to do some of the investigators I will.
I'm hitting the streets. It's the just team investigates.

Speaker 12 (42:21):
And causing more than twenty thousand dollars in damage.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
You've said this eight times.

Speaker 17 (42:26):
Please say the investigation is still ongoing and there is
no risk to the campus community.

Speaker 12 (42:31):
But students say this won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Speaker 18 (42:35):
Be kind of weird coming back to the building in
the fall, and I feel like it will have a
lasting reputation for like years to come.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
Tom it's no longer Wills Hall, it's myth Hall.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
You guys go back to the campus and there was
a diddling doctor there. I think you'll get over the mill.

Speaker 17 (42:49):
We'll be back apprecile hearing may eighth any slancing on
my kaziki.

Speaker 12 (42:54):
Ok four cool.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Good to know, guys.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
I don't know if I can come back to campus
after this guy cooked up some method as all.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Or whatever the hell it is.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Wells, Wells Hall, I uh sorry, guys. Well, were you
able to go to the Michigan State football game, you know,
after they had the doctor that was diddling the kids
and all that.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Yeah, but it felt weird for a while. It felt weird.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
Were you able to go back to Michigan State after
the football coach was cranking hog on the phone with
that lady?

Speaker 13 (43:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (43:21):
I was able to do that, but it took a
while to get over that. Every time I had to
talk on a campus phone though, it felt real weird.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
But but now I think you'll I think you'll be okay, Mohedo,
I think you're gonna make it. Jeez, there's still no
real details. I listened to a two minute news story.
I have no information on how Shan Tong was able
to do any.

Speaker 2 (43:39):
Of it with chemicals. He's a former student.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
I want more details. Well, I told you we need
a Shintong origin story. Yeah, I want it on Amazon
Prime tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
I want that. I want I want green Lit.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
I want to stop making all these stupid Adam Sandler
movies for five minutes at Netflix and.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
I want you to go out and I want you
to make a shin Tong or story. I think they're
very busy right now doing the follow up to Michael.
That's what that's the biggest thing.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Well, after you guys get Michael too Greenlit, I want
to go to Netflix and I want a Shintong origin story.

Speaker 2 (44:13):
Michael two Diddle, b Glue, and then Jintong is on
the list.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
I want the Shintong film. I don't ask for a
lot of things. I'm not one of these people that's
very demanding, but I would like the Shintong origin story.
I want to know how this man went from whatever
he was doing to growing out a Jackson Brown mullet
and selling meth out of the Will's Hall, Like, how
did we go from there to there? How did we

(44:40):
get from point A to point B? What happened in between?

Speaker 2 (44:44):
Is all I want to know.

Speaker 13 (44:46):
It.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Also, f the police give me this ticket, I'm angry
about it.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
I am surly today. I'm ticked off.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
You know what make you feel better about it? What's that?
Some of the myths I do? I need to chill.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
I feel like my punishment would have been less had
they caught me with methan. The probably service, I think
they opened at eight o'clock. I'm gonna call these sons
of bitches at eight o'clock. I hope you're like serving
food out of food kitchen.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Like, I'm glad Sterling Heights.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
I'm glad that the biggest issue you guys having Sterling
Heights and white bread Land is some guy betting on
Ukrainian table ten as.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Well he's driving.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
I'm glad that that's your big concern Sterling Heights police.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
Kind of trying to keep the community safe.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Oh, the biggest things that happened over that area dudes
on their cell phones and people fighting in the bathroom
at Chili's. That's all you people focus on over there. Now,
it's gonna cost me money because you lazy cons I
had to have you little eyes out there trying to
catch me riding dirty.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
We'll talk about that too.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
So at eight o'clock, I think, is when the Shelby
Township District Court opened. So I gotta call these people
because I gotta figure out my situation here, because you know,
God forbid.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
I was holding my phone while I was driving last Saturday,
and I thought I was just gonna have, you know,
to pay a fine, which it may still be the case.
I think he'd be cleaning up later on the side
of the road and in an orange jumpsuit.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
Oh, I'm gonna claim that I have a disability. I'm
gonna be like, uh, I'll be like old uncle Ted
whenever going to war came into playing. I'm gonna poop
myself and I'm gonna say sorry, I can't. I can't
do community service. I poop myself. I obviously have issues.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Let me tell you this.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
I totally get afro man. Now, yeah, I totally understand
where that man was coming.

Speaker 19 (46:34):
That's gonna be a me. Okay, okay, that's gonna.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Just got caught by the car. It's a bogus way
to do it though.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
It's kind of like it's like when you you it's
like I get hunting, like you're you versus a deer
and you're out there. But then like if you like
set the deer up, I feel like that's cheating, like
like the deer's out there. Instead of shooting the deer,
you've got a landmine plant.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
How do you think all those people feel on that
Chris Hansen show. That's different, but they're doing something not good. Okay,
they're diddling. There's a big deal. You can you can't
compare what I did to Didland James. It's not the
same thing. It's the same thing, so it's not similar.
There's nothing similar situation where you're being tricked. I get

(47:32):
that by NBC. Two words, role plan. That's what you
gotta tell me. They call him. He came, man, we'll
playing chat room. Look, and I thought I had done
a good job because when they stopped me, they go,
why were you on your phone? Did you?

Speaker 3 (47:42):
It was condescending, He goes, did you did you have
something very important on your phone?

Speaker 2 (47:45):
I'm like, no, I'm just a dick. I'm sorry. Yeah,
And instead now I have to call the court because
I got to figure this out in the next couple days.
See what I have to do. This is bogus.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
If you just if you would have saw me yourself,
Officer pound Cake, and you would have been like, hey,
I caught you, I'd be like, okay, you got me.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yeah, you've defeated me this time, sir. But no, you've
got eyes out on the streets that are literally radioing
back to you. You didn't see me. That guy could
have just been lying, So I guess no. Other question
is when you go to court, who's going to be
the one that shows up, the officer that issued you
the ticket or the officer that had seen you. That's
a good question on the phone because if it's the
officer that issued you the ticket, he didn't actually witness

(48:23):
what you're doing other than the fact that you were
totally distracted because you didn't realize the cop is at
the window to be pulled in the barkings. But there
were no lights or anything. And I, by the way,
I wasn't.

Speaker 13 (48:35):
I was not.

Speaker 3 (48:36):
I didn't have my phone in my hand in the
parking lot until I pulled up and then opened up
my phone while I was parked Now, I did have
it in my hand when I was driving, but I
am adept at texting and driving. Yeah you looking, Jeff Gordon,
I'm texting you. I am gifted. I'm not saying you
shouldn't do that, especially if you're not good at it.
But if you're good at it, like I have a look,
I don't think you should cook math.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
But if he never never distracted and on the when
he's driving an automobile from one of our lovely clients,
I'm not, no, no, he's smarter than that. I'm not.
I'm on my phone all the time at all. But
my point is I was gonna say, by the amount
of time it takes to get a response from you
through text, that that's true exactly. Would you like to

(49:18):
come to court and speak on my Sure, here we go.
I have somebody to speak of, my behalf. Like, oh,
is that the gay guy that yells all the time
from David Chuck? Why it is? But he's on a
new show now, he's on.

Speaker 5 (49:30):
My show, All The Josh Inness Show now at eight
seven seven nine, eight eight one.

Speaker 3 (49:35):
Seven one six point seven, w.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
LLZ Detroit, Right, NBC. Two words, role playing chat room dude,
all right. Let me hit these sports intro because it
has a sponsor.

Speaker 3 (49:47):
But I ain't talking about sports because I'm ticked off
Joshnis show sport, this rant against the police. Now this
sports up say it's broughtzy. This sports up dates is
brought to you by DTE Energy.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
The Pistons will be playing basketball tonight in Orlando, which
is known for Disney World, and they still have a Ponderosa.

Speaker 2 (50:16):
WHOA really, I don't know if it's still but I
went to I guess when I went a decade ago,
so maybe this has changed. But I think there's still
a Ponderosa in Orlando because I went there. I would
why would it close down? It's a bustling chain restaurant. Yeah,
it probably would survive in Orlando.

Speaker 3 (50:32):
I think if there's gonna be a place, that ponderosa
is gonna survive. Actually, another one I saw was outside
of somewhere Illinois, in between Saint Louis and Indiana. I
found a ponderosa in that small town too, whatever that was,
so either really small towns or Orlando is the only
place a ponderosa can make it and just be one
right by my old house.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
And then they closed down like, I don't know eight
years ago, let me see if the Ponderosa in Orlando
is still a Ponderosa Orlando. All Pondero Ponderosa Steakhouse locations,
including the notable last standing location, have closed. No, no,
sorry for your loss.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
All that said. Like, then I went and I realized
it's disgusting. It was like it seemed like a great idea.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Like, oh my god, it's Ponderosa.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
I'm eight again. And then I went and it was
pretty gross. But still that makes me sad because I
remember going there ten years ago and being super stoked
that there was a Ponderosa. Oh and if it were open,
I choose to believe that's where the pistons would have eaten.
Like I feel like that's with the champions would eat
That's exactly yes, you know who would have eaten it

(51:39):
at Ponderosa, Bill Lambieres, who would have beaten it at
pond closed Pondosa down. You want to tell me that
Dennis Rodman and his day didn't needed the Ponderosa and
love it?

Speaker 2 (51:48):
How do you think his hair turned red? And let
me tell you something, they won not one, but two championships.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
And if it's good enough for the bad boy Pistons
to eat at at Ponderosa. Then I'm fair certain that
be Isaiah Stewart could eat at the Ponderosa.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
You're not too good for Ponderosa.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
Enjoy the sound bar, Beef stew Hey, Duncan Robinson, you're
not too.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
Good for Ponderosa.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
I hope, look, I hope they win. But may they
play tonight? If they do, there's gonna be a game seven. Also,
the Tigers play tonight as they will take on the
Texas Rangers, the Lone Rangers. Uh, they will play tonight
over at Camerica Park.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
And there you go. That is sports.

Speaker 3 (52:36):
So here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna play you
a rock and roll song. I'm gonna recharge my batteries.

Speaker 2 (52:42):
Yeah, because I have called now. Oh, he has some
bad news called.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
The four to one a district court in Shelby Township.
Doug pud l Country, Yeah, and it's all stiff.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
Can put a call into someone. Maybe he knows somebody
who over on the police. Somebody get Doug on the phone.
Is Doug on the phone telling him that someone got
shot on it? Well, interrupt him in the shower. We did.
We'll just say you're stern. Yeah, hey, but I.

Speaker 3 (53:10):
Did call the district court, So I'm gonna give you
the details on that. Look, I understand, n w A
is all I'm gonna say. That's all I under that's
all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
I get what I get. Where they're coming from. Now,
is you got a little bit of gold in a pager? Yeah,
that's it. That's exactly what it is, all right, So uh,
we'll get into that after you hear the foo fighters.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
Well, the saddest thing today is that I found out
that the Ponderosa in Orlando is no longer open, although
not that I go.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
I don't plan on going to Orlando. That's the one
flight down there, and I enjoy the delicious offerings of
the Ponderoats to take out. No, that's number one. And
then the second saddest thing is I called about this
ticket that I got for having my phone in my
hand in Shelby Township, where apparently the people that are
the police officers in Shelby Township took a break from
rescuing the girl's cat from a tree to pull me

(54:06):
and other people over. So the police officers of Shelby
Township who are trying to catch people riding dirty, and
by that I mean they're trying to catch people texting and.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
Driving looking for disgracting the driver. But you might think, well, Josh,
I mean if they caught you, they caught you. Well, yeah,
they're like shooting fish in a barrel.

Speaker 2 (54:25):
They've got eyes all over the streets, and those people
radio back to the guy in the cars. In the car,
the car cop gets the glory of pulling you over
in the parking lot of the buyer. So anyway, I
called today to kind of get a confirmation they opened
at eight o'clock.

Speaker 3 (54:39):
I called it eight eight o'clock in twelve seconds. Yeah,
probly the first call the day, probably so, which means
the lady on the phone was thrilled.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
She's like, here we go another eight hours of this today.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
Because you know, God forbid they stay up until five o'clock. No,
they close at four, because we've got to make sure
all the people that are trying to take your money
and force you to do community service, we got to
make sure they can get out at full So then
catch the early bird special at one of the Crapney
chain restaurants in Sterling Wrights.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
Hey, there's a lot of delicious chain restaurants. Now, hey guys,
we're meeting up for margs over at Chelli's after we
take money from someone.

Speaker 3 (55:17):
But anyway, I called yes, and you were convinced I
was gonna have to do community service. Yeah, I also
like I butt into my conversation with the lady.

Speaker 2 (55:26):
I sure does he have to do community service? No, no,
community service.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
Told you I didn't have to do community service, but
I do have to pay a fine. This is my
first offense. This is my first offense for this, by
the way, But Officer Dingleberries over in Sterling Heights, who
has nothing going on because he's in white Breadland, Sterling Heights, where.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
Nothing goes on. I'm gonna catch some kids doing donuts
in the dead mall parking lot or something, you know,
because that's.

Speaker 3 (55:57):
What you do in Sterling Nights because nothing happens there.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
Hey guys, we're just hanging out in Utica. You know.
Every now and then we get a disorderly you know,
a drunken public over a you know, the Mexican restaurant.
It's usually at the locker room. It's a barb with
they being on stuff of.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
Sticks, zoom by the way if you want to get it,
if you've been impacted by this stupid stuff, I'd like
to talk with you at eight seven seven nine eight
eight one oh six seven. Or if you think I'm
just being a jackass and you think gate you want
to rip me, you can as well eight seven seven.

Speaker 2 (56:28):
Nine eight eight one oh six seven. So my hefty
fine that I was issued, I chat GPT this. I
took a picture of both sides of this ticket and
I put it into the chat GPT Gypsy.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Gypsy told me this. She said that's gonna cost you
like one hundred bucks. I'm like, well that sucks, but okay.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
So then I call the District Court of Shelby Township
in Utica, and I talked to this nice lady. Yeah,
she's very nice. Look, she doesn't look.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
She's not the one that's being used out of the
streets to try to try to ruin people's lives. She's
just doing She's just that's her job to answer the phone.
So I find out that I don't know one hundred dollars.
I also don't have community service, okay, but I do
owe one hundred and seventy five dollars.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
Whoa seventy five dollars for first defense.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
You better started playing the go fund yourself I probably should,
which comes your way about an hour from right now.
First chance to win one thousand dollars. If you've gotten
a dumb ticket for texting and driving and shell be
township and you need money to pay for it and
you don't want to sell a kidney.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Yeah, I've got caught in a police thing, like Josh
did it really was? It was a sting, is what
it was. You better tune in nine oh five so
you can have your first shot at a keyword there.
This is bogus.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
So then I'm like, all right, so one hundred and
seventy five dollars, he goes no, sir.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
There's also it gets better. If you're gonna use a card,
it's gonna be a four percent. It's a four per
three point seventy five five percent processing feet. So now
it goes up to like one hundred and eighty dollars. See,
I'll do some math to give you your grand total
one seventy five. This is bogus.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
I want to talk to people eight seven seven nine
eight eight one oh six seven. You know my mother
was married to a wonderful police officer named Don Strickland.

Speaker 2 (58:19):
Wonderful guy.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
I've always been a big supporter of the police, but
I think we've overstepped our bounds. Now when we've got
guys standing out there with walkie talkies radioing back to
their other buddies trying to catch.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
You one fifty six grand total out the door, I
think we're over I think we're focusing on the wrong things. Now,
you can support the police in another way. Just think
about all those people they had pulled over in the
parking lot of the grocery store. You're at all of them,
what's seventy five of pops. Yeah, they must need like
some new like Task Force van or some Probably they're like, well,
we're trying to buy a new canine off. They need

(58:51):
a new drone. We got a train or a new
canine officer who.

Speaker 3 (58:54):
Has nothing to do because he's in Shelby Township and
all they have to do is pull people over for
holding their phone the car.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
You know who You don't hear about doing stuff like this.
Who's at the Southfield Police exactly my hood. No, they're
taking care of actual thing. Yes, there's actual cars that
are keeping off the streets there about white bread ass
crime who was the producing may try something here. Hold
on a second, I'm calling Doug. Oh boy, a dog,

(59:21):
gotta text down first. No, I'm calling him a text
say hey, we're calling you. Nope, I'm not. I'm calling them. Okay,
I don't have time. I'm not gonna answer this kind of.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
Radio show that I have time to warn someone I'm calling. Honestly,
I got bon Jovi in the chamber just waiting to go.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
I don't have time. Hold on, I gotta find Doug's
phone theger I finally saved it.

Speaker 3 (59:42):
I don't say in my phone, so that would have
really been a tough one. Hold on, I'm calling Doug.
It's ain't twenty Wait your ass something Doug.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
He's not gonna answer. You're an old man. You should
have been away since four point thirty. Doug. You could
send me a message on Facebook. Cage you guys. Try
calling me in the morning. Let me see here. I'm
calling Doug. Remember you got to text me before you call.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
I'm not texting call. I'm going live, Doug.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
This is live radio.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Douglas Podell, doctor of rock and roll.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Let's see he needs you, needs you performer surgery. Hold on,
It's called Doug right now, let's see here. Probably doesn't
answer because he thinks it's a scammer. Come on, Doug,
my Nageerian princess calling. Your call has been The person

(01:00:34):
you're trying.

Speaker 12 (01:00:35):
To reach is not available on strong finished recording.

Speaker 16 (01:00:40):
You may hang up.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Hey, Doug, it's Josh and James from Detroit's Wheels. Hey,
I got a ticket over in Shelby Township because the
police officers are the worst, and it was for texting
and driving.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
You understand.

Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
I was wondering, if you know anyone who you can,
you know, flex your muscles, maybe give them a vinyl
copy some album and grease the wheels a little bit. Uh, whatever,
you know, maybe you can. Maybe you have that kind
of power. Maybe I'm giving you too much credit, but
I think you're loaded with power. I think you're a
powerful guy. So I thought maybe if I called you.

Speaker 8 (01:01:13):
Doug.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
All right, So, Doug, this is Josh Innis from Detroit's Wheels.

Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
Hey, I was wondering, Doug, who do you know over
in the Shelby Township police department? Uh, that you could
go flex your Doug Podell, doc of rock muscles and say, hey,
one of your sons of bitches gave my best friend,
Josh Hennis.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
He's the doc of soft rock.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
I'm the doc of rock. This is my adopted son,
the doc of soft rock, and I need to get
him out of this ticket.

Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
Who do you know, Doug, Well, as Shelby. It's very
difficult because they really do. They cover every corner here
and there's no getting out of it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Well, here's the problem, Doug. You you got all these
white bread problems over in Shelby Township, Like, hey, someone's
cat's in a tree.

Speaker 3 (01:02:02):
So the cop and the cops are busy all day
with that, and.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Then then they get bored, so then they come out
and they try to catch somebody on their cell phone,
and then they catch me an aisle one hundred and
seventy five dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
The other morning, I cruised up to the mailbox and
deck and six people were getting pulled over on Paul Road.

Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
They had one of them might have been joshed. It
might have been if it was Saturday morning at the buyer.
Then it was me.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
They had like a sting going on, you know where
they're training to. I know it's tough. I know people
would warn, but that's not going to help you.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
Now, what if you, like, I don't know, took them
like some sort of exclusive album, like maybe like hey,
Officer Dufis, here's a here's an original pressing of trocal Harem. No, No,
they don't want that.

Speaker 20 (01:02:48):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
They want like procyl Harem. Like if you're like, hey,
here's an first edition procyl Harem.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
What if you did that?

Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
And they'd be like, all right, you're out, You're good,
We're clean.

Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Wipe. It's a sponged you know.

Speaker 4 (01:03:02):
I've got a record show this uh, this coming Sunday,
so I'll look for one.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
This isn't about you, about me, it's not about your
record the record show. Where is it that Sunday? Perfect?

Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
It's a Warren at ten and Shaner back at the
Elks Club and it's East Side Record Show number two
and we've actually James got the guys from Halloween?

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Yeah is it because it's halfway to Halloween? Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:03:32):
Yeah, by the way, but it's the metal may ah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Do you got like a first edition Zebra could steal?

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Or no?

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
I think no?

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Darn sucks all right, Doug, we love you. Everybody go
to Doug's record show. We'll see you, Doug. Thanks Doug.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Oh, thanks for waking me up, No problem, love you dog.

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
Hey, what's happen on General Hospital? Oh there's a lot
going on, always is always the whole day.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
Talk about that.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Well, maybe next week, Doug. I got a bitch about
the Shelby Township police a little bit more. We'll see you, Doug.

Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
What did you get busted having your phony?

Speaker 13 (01:04:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
I was part of that sting. I was I was stunned.
They stung me.

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
Yeah you know all right, Well you make enough money
to cover it, so.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Yeah, you know that's not true. You know that's not true, Doug.
All I love you, Doug. We'll sick. We'll see that's
Doug Podella make enough money to cover it. The man
eats day old donuts much like myself. The only time
I get a diet coke is when they leave one
in the fridge, and I still I grab one of those.

Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
I got a fridge sick right now and that's the
only thing that's calling my nerves. All right, we want
to talk. Let's go eight seven seven, nine, eight one
oh six seven. Have you been caught up in this
sting at all? Have you been stung, particular by the
Shelby Township pigs out there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
It's a strong word.

Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
Look, I smell bacon when I go to Shelby Township,
I smell bacon. And usually that bacon is like helping
an old lady cross the road, you know that kind
of stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
But no, they want to pop me. And is this
point in the show where I like to remind the
Shelby Township police officers that the thoughts and opinions of
Josh and this do not necessarily reflect those of James Campbell.
Oh but they do. You should hear him when we're
off the air. You should hear it. So don't don't
you worry.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
This is the Josh Nish Show on one oh six
point seven double LLZ Detroit Wheels, the first damn rock
on the radio one of six point seven WLLZ de
Troy Wheels or by Michigan Auto Law auto Accident Attorney's
visit auto Law dot Com.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
That's Otto La dot Com WLLZ Rocks.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
And here's what I need.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
I need you guys to help me out here via
the text on the phones. First of all, I'll get
to some calls here about the Shelby Township police.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Who have they tried to catch me riding dirty?

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
And now I have one hundred and seventy five dollars
to pay for having my phone in my hand bottle descrug.

Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
I think they're very successful. Now.

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
I wonder what would have happened if I wasn't honest
when he pulled me over and he was like, so,
why were you holding your phone? If I would have said, well,
you know, my GPS or something, I was trying to
figure out if I was going to the right myer,
But instead I just said, hey, I'm a dick, cause
I thought that was the move.

Speaker 2 (01:06:20):
Maybe that's why you got one seventy five one hundred.
He said, oh, oh, you think you're kiss seventy five
for being a dick? You think you're cute? Do you?

Speaker 3 (01:06:26):
We need some anti authority songs. Give me some anti
authority rock music to play today. I might just blow up.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
I fought the law, and the law one I fight authority,
and authority always wins.

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
I'm looking for those texos in or call eight seven
seven nine eight eight one oh six seven. That is
the phone number eight seven seven nine eight eight one
oh six seven, or text the word Josh and your
message to five one eight eight one, give me anti
authority rock songs. We can play and play some killing
in the name of We could do that. We could
we could do that. Let me get a few phone
calls in here, and then we're going to get to

(01:06:59):
some people on anti authority.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
I want anti authority playlist. If I were building an
anti authority playlist, what would be on this playlist? Hello wheels, Hey,
how's it going good? What's up?

Speaker 13 (01:07:10):
I just want to let you know that I completely agree.
Shelby Township tops aren't the worst tops I have ever
experienced in my entire life, and I feel I feel
genuine fear every.

Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
Time one of them drives by.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
Why is that? What is your fear of them?

Speaker 13 (01:07:28):
I don't they just thought they just stunk.

Speaker 20 (01:07:30):
Man.

Speaker 13 (01:07:31):
You just know that they're gonna get you for no
reason at all.

Speaker 19 (01:07:35):
You know why?

Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
It is because they're bored.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
They're bored because nothing happens in Shelby Township, so they
have to pop people holding their cell phones.

Speaker 13 (01:07:44):
Exactly nothing happened, So they gotta find something to to,
you know, scratch their age. They're like, Oh, I'm just
gonna get I'm gonna get this guy driving to work
for no reason at all. You know, he's a great guy.
He don't he doesn't do anything bad. He doesn't murder people,
you know, doesn't steal.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
I'm just gonna bust them.

Speaker 13 (01:08:02):
I'm gonna charge them for looking at his cell phone
for a second.

Speaker 9 (01:08:05):
You know what this is.

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
They're jealous of the actual Detroit cops have to deal
with real murdering prime and they're trying to live out their.

Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
Fantasies and being cops to pulling us over.

Speaker 4 (01:08:14):
That's what they grew up.

Speaker 13 (01:08:15):
They be like, I'm gonna be a cop, I'm gonna
I'm gonna save people's lives and I'm gonna do this.
And then they spend their days writing speeding pickets and
sitting there parked at a corner and eating donuts and
they don't do anything better. They're You're right, they're just jealous.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
You know what they are. They're paperwork cops. Their paperwork
desk cops is all they are.

Speaker 13 (01:08:35):
That's that's all they are, and all they have will be. Man,
I just can't stand them. I was listening to the
radio and I was like, Man, I couldn't agree more. Man,
I've always folked this way that they they just think
they don't do anything exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Thank you for the call, sir. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Get in your anti authority songs here.

Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
I like to hear them from you right now.

Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
You can text, you can call all call eight seven
seven nine eight eight one oh six seven.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Let me see here. Hello, Detroit's wheels. Who's this?

Speaker 16 (01:09:07):
It's Mega?

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Hi? Mega? What's going on? Honey?

Speaker 17 (01:09:11):
Why?

Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Why high honey?

Speaker 13 (01:09:13):
Why are you bed mouthing my township?

Speaker 12 (01:09:16):
You rotten kid?

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Is your township taking my one hundred and seventy five
dollars in a sting operation?

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Mega? I got stung? What did you do, your rotten kid?
You know what I did? I had my phone in
my hand while I was driving.

Speaker 12 (01:09:31):
Is that all really?

Speaker 9 (01:09:32):
Honey?

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
That's all I did? Honey, that's Mega. I think he
was looking at pornography while he was behind the wheel. Mega.
We can't prove that that's true. We can't that's true? Mega?
How are you?

Speaker 12 (01:09:45):
What is Mega's mantra?

Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
Any damn above the grass?

Speaker 4 (01:09:48):
Finish it up?

Speaker 21 (01:09:49):
I'm a a is any damn above the grass?

Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Is a good day?

Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
Oh well that's good. So here we are one more day, Mega, All.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
Right, honey.

Speaker 11 (01:09:57):
I just called Jay, love you and and James Okate,
keep doing what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
You're writing up my day.

Speaker 13 (01:10:04):
You're rotten kid.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
You make me laugh. Thank you, mag I love you.
Bye bye. Let's see Detroit's whels.

Speaker 18 (01:10:09):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
Who's this? Hi?

Speaker 20 (01:10:12):
This is KK calling Hi.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
What's going on? Okay? I just wanted to let you know.

Speaker 20 (01:10:17):
It is paraceeutic for me to hear you talk about
how awful these tickets are. I would pull over Monday
for a cell phone violation, and I feel.

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
The same way you do. See how much is yours?
Is yours? One hundred and seventy five.

Speaker 20 (01:10:32):
Okay, here's what's interesting. So I went online to pay
for it, but it hasn't been updated, and it said
it takes up to seven days. But the fee is
due immediately within the first fourteen days, not when they
post it.

Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
So they're trying to kid you. They're trying to screw you,
is what they're trying to do. You're getting hosed here.
Then they're gonna say you didn't pay the ticket. Then
you're gonna have an even bigger fine.

Speaker 20 (01:10:56):
That's what it is. And I was like, wait, so
I can't access the fee for up to seven days,
but the sea is due within fourteen days of when
I received the fine.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
Yep, see you where did you get yours?

Speaker 20 (01:11:06):
When you go when you go on the website, all
the information is we accept MasterCard visa. And I was like,
is this about safe driving and creating a safe community
or is this just about receiving money?

Speaker 13 (01:11:17):
I do?

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
I think we know the answer. Where did you get
your ticket?

Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
Broadcaster?

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Oh? Oh, you're probably looking at two fifty? Yeah? Hell god, I.

Speaker 13 (01:11:28):
Sorry.

Speaker 20 (01:11:29):
He also gave me a.

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
Window ten violation. Oh I thought window was legal now
I thought to do, Oh my girl, here's yeah, you're
really right.

Speaker 20 (01:11:43):
No, I don't know how much that is either, because
I can't answer that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Well, I'll tell you when I got my window ten
ticket multiple times, like fifteen years ago. Is a buck
twenty five?

Speaker 20 (01:11:54):
Well, and I don't want to remove it, so I'm like,
can I just pay it and just keep it on?
But anyway, I'm surely another reason get pulled over.

Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Yeah, just gonna make sure will the windows now when
you see the police cars? Thank you, ma'am.

Speaker 3 (01:12:05):
See I'm glad that we're coming together as a community
here due to our hatred of all these stupid money
grabs from the police department.

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Somebody told me window tent was legal in the state
of Michigan now because they went and they got their
windshield tinted.

Speaker 13 (01:12:16):
Well.

Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
And that's the thing is, I don't have window tent
because I don't have a car. It's pretty amazing to
get a ticket when you don't even have your own car.
But I never cared about window tent and all that.
But the fact that you get, you know, a penalty
or a fine for that, Like I don't even understand why,
Like what would be like what is the reasoning The
police officers can't see in your vehicle, so there's more
of a risk from what I understand, Like we can't

(01:12:38):
see in the vehicle, so they don't know what's in
there with what could be going on, what's happening.

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
They need to be able to have clear sight as
of what's going on with the driver at least, because
you could do the back windows, and you could do
like the rear view mirror or the rear window, but
you're never allowed to put tint on the driver's side,
passenger side, and the windshield of Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
So I'm getting requests from people for anti authority songs.
Af Authority by Penny Wise.

Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
There you go. Seems like one of your type of jams. Yeah,
we didn't sugest because I didn't think we would have it. Well,
I'm not gonna play it. I'm just saying they request
We probably have it, but I don't know. Let's see
Lincoln Park. Shut up when I'm talking to you. Okay,
that's not the name of the song. What's it called?
I don't know. Is that crawling? Yeah? Probably?

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
What is it the first single? The hell is that song?
I can't even think of it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:28):
Whatever I'm bringing. One step closer?

Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Is that the one? Most?

Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
So it's one step Closer?

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Again.

Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
I'm not a huge Lincoln Park guys. You guys know,
don't tell Casey that. Let's see here here. Yeah, that's
it keeps me zen. Everything's that?

Speaker 13 (01:13:43):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
The authority song.

Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
John Mellencamp, I'm getting requests for from people looking for
anti authority song. You know what I'll give you, John Mellencamp.

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
Why not you want to hear a little John Mellencamp,
little John Pulger Mellencamp. He's gonna play this one live,
I think so.

Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
And this is for all the police officers out there
in h Shelby Township.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
You won.

Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
You beat me one though, six point seven Detroit's wheels,
Josh and to show Josh and James.

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
People are calling now they have thoughts on texting and driving. Again,
I'm not telling you it's the safest thing to do,
and I'm not telling you I do it all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
What I'm telling you is one hundred and seventy five
dollars because I had my phone in my hand.

Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
It's excessive. And by the way, when we're talking about cops,
those guys have giant screens in front of them and
they're typing on a laptop with one hand while they're driving.

Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
You want these guys blow through stop signs and red
lights all the time for things? Sure they are, how
I'd like to know how many. And look, I'm I
say a lot of this facetiously. But like again, my
stepdad was a cop. Don rest in Power king Don
was a great cop. I respect the hell out of
police officers.

Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
I'm not again, I'm ticked off about the situation, and
I do think some cops are dopes. But for the
most part, these are people putting their lives on the line,
and like they're dealing with crackheads and people that are
in gangs, people with guns. So I respect the hell
out of what the majority of cops are doing. But
when we're sitting here writing two hundred dollars tickets for
someone because they had their phone in their hand in
the car, I think that's a little bit excessive. Uh

(01:15:11):
that said, let's see here, let's take some phone calls.
Hello Wheels, who's this Jay?

Speaker 21 (01:15:16):
Hey, I've just listened to the radio station about your
anti getting pulled over for your phone in your hand yep.
So I have a mixed feeling on that because I
work in the public sector too, and I'm out on
the road a lot. So when you see people racing
buy you with their phone in their hand and you're

(01:15:37):
on the side of the road working, it's kind of disturbing.

Speaker 2 (01:15:41):
Oh, I respect that, I get it, you know.

Speaker 21 (01:15:45):
And you see young people drive them by eighty miles
an hour and they got a phone in their hand.
You know, I understand both sides. I understand your frustration too,
you know.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
Well, I think and that's normal.

Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
I think it's normal for people to see both sides
of an argument. You just don't see that anymore because
it's twenty twenty six and everybody's got to take a side.
I get it, Like if you're someone working on the
side of the road, I get where you're like, get
off your f and phone.

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
I get it.

Speaker 21 (01:16:11):
And I say that a lot too, totally. I get
that man, I and the other just it's the responsibility
of it.

Speaker 13 (01:16:19):
You know.

Speaker 21 (01:16:19):
As a driver, we just had a couple of bad
feetalities where it was involved. So it's when you're out
on the road and you see that stuff, it gives
you a whole different insight. And yeah, yeah, I mean
I understand both sides. I think sometimes I think it's
a chicken crap violation, but you know, you get caught.

Speaker 2 (01:16:38):
You get caught. No, No, I get it, brother, Thank you.
I appreciate that look and thank you. Solution for all
of these problems. What's ad tinture windows? James has solved
everyone's issues. Can't see you on the phone, If you
can't see in your car, there you go and.

Speaker 3 (01:16:50):
How many times are they going to really pull you
over for your tent?

Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
How off every single time to see you? That's so
from experience. Perhaps it's a double edged sword. Or you
could argue just you know, don't be on your phone,
but I dare you to try. It's not easty.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
We're addicted to these things. I've got big picture. The
vast majority of cops are great.

Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
I just don't want a two hundred dollars ticket for
this one of six point seven Detroit. It's Wheels, it's
Josh and James. What's up.

Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
I'll try to get some more calls on people on
the texting.

Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
And driving ticket I got. It's one hundred and seventy
five bucks. Here's a story for you, though it's also
about cell phones. It's out of six Flags in San Antonio.
That's pretty much all they have in San Antonio is
six Flags. And I think of the World and the
Spurs and SeaWorld and a lot of Hispanic people, like
ninety nine percent Hispanic San Antonio, like right on the border.

Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
No, it's more in Central Texas, but it's very it's
kind of west central Texas, but I mean the whole
state of Texas is very Hispanic. Like I lived in Houston,
and I want to say Houston is majority Hispanic now,
not that it matters, but like it is.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
That's I mean in San Antonio. It's Hispanic folks. It
is the river Walk, which is basically just a ditch
that runs through and they call it a river, but
it's a little thing that runs through downtown. We had
one of those in Arizona. Then there is let's see
what else do we have there? We have six Flags
and I think there's a Sea World. I've been to
SeaWorld there one time. But here's a story.

Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
More than a dozen riders aboard the super Girl Skyflight
at six Flags FS to Texas, we're given an unexpected
and extended view of the six Flags theme park after
the ride was abruptly shut down for several minutes as
the ride was near its highest peak.

Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
Now you might be asking yourself, why was the ride
at six Flags FS to Texas. Why was it stopped
while the ride was at its highest peak? Now, I'm
assuming the malfunction of some sort. Well, also just to
be to clarify what this is. This is like one
of those giant swings that you go around and you're
sitting in like a swing. So it's not a roller coaster,
I believe. I think it's like a.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
Thing, Okay, like a very large version. It goes up
and down like that kind of thing. Yeah, well, let's see,
here's the story. They got on the ride and there's
a cell phone video that a woman took while they
were suspended high above the earth.

Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
Yeah, I saw the video. Gives me anxiety, Oh yeah,
big time.

Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
In a statement, six Flags said the ride was stopped
after the operator saw someone pull out their cell phone,
which violated the theme park safety policy. Well, this kind
of goes back to the police thing. I feel like
it's more dangerous if if.

Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
You stop the ride while people are hundreds of feet
in the air, the phone's out, got the ride, stop
the ride, they could fall from hundreds of feet in
the air, but at least the cell phones are put away.

Speaker 3 (01:19:33):
Last weekend, a ride operator stopped one of our rides
when a guest violated our safety policy. Once the issue
was resolved, the ride resumed, all guests safely exited, and
the ride remained open for the remainder of the day. Well, yeah,
of course it remained open for the rest of the
day because nothing was wrong with the ride. You stopped
it because somebody pulled out a cell phone. Probably will
read something's gonna drop the phone, It's gonna hit somebody

(01:19:55):
get that. Okay, I'm gonna say why you'd probably take
out the cell phone and get a selfie, you know
that up in the air.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Here's the thing, totally. Here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
Someone still pulled out a cell phone when you stopped
the ride.

Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
So if you're whole peace, someone filmed a video while
they were suspended. One hundred and two freet above this
the ground mission accomplished. Who did a great way to go?

Speaker 12 (01:20:17):
Six fly mister Josh in a show on one?

Speaker 1 (01:20:19):
Who was six point seven double llz DeJoy wheels?

Speaker 3 (01:20:23):
One of those six point seven Detroit's wheels. Josh and
show Josh and James and our friends.

Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
Aria and Mary are here. Hello, Aria, How are you good?

Speaker 7 (01:20:33):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
So you are very famous, you're a very big celebrity.
What is that You got your big coat on, You're
ready to go. You're with make a wish of course.
But so you got to see Taylor Swift. This is
a big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:20:48):
Hell, you were telling me you were close when you
saw Taylor. How close were you?

Speaker 13 (01:20:52):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
How close were you to Taylor?

Speaker 11 (01:20:55):
I was like.

Speaker 14 (01:20:58):
Thirty six feet thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
Six feet That's something that's a very accurate. Measurement. I'm
not allowed within thirty six feet of Taylor swift after
I sat like the second row. I saw it many
moons ago, and I.

Speaker 14 (01:21:10):
Think I sat on like the seventh or.

Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
Like the twelfth row.

Speaker 3 (01:21:15):
That's that's actually better than the second row. You get
the whole view. What's your favorite Taylor.

Speaker 14 (01:21:20):
Song, either Wood or Florida Florida.

Speaker 3 (01:21:25):
I don't even know, Like, I don't know. Basically, my
Taylor knowledge almost stops. Like I don't know any of
the songs where she wears sweaters.

Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
I didn't. Did you get into any like the Tortured Poets?
Do you like that? Yeah? See, I don't like all that.

Speaker 14 (01:21:36):
I like, you know, like love Story, Florida's from the
Tortured Poets Department.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
See, I don't. I didn't like Tortured Poets Department. But
I like Red and I like Fearless. I know I'm
a fake swifty. I'm like an old swifty. I don't
get into the new stuff. But that's awesome that you
got to go. Was it awesome? Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:21:55):
I just wish that she would add the Life of
a show Girl to tour and then just go on
tour and sing all of it.

Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
I'm glad you bring that up, because it stinks when
you go to the concert and there's a song you
really want to hear and.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Then they don't do the song, like Taylor. You've got
a thousand songs, Taylor, you should do every one of those.

Speaker 14 (01:22:14):
When I won, there is a I put on a
reputation outfit, but that concert she changed it to gold.

Speaker 3 (01:22:28):
Oh that's because that's kind of her thing, is she
changes her outfit. That's the one with the one sleeve, right,
is that the reputation outfit, So she changes or the
one leg Sorry, it's got like one leg and it's
like a cross body thing.

Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
I know, way too. Oh yeah, Josh has the same outfit.
He wears it on the weekend. I do. But but
but that's awesome that you got to go and you
were a little disappointed though, because you tried to coordinate
with her and then she's wearing a different outfit. Yeah,
she owes you.

Speaker 14 (01:22:53):
I think she owes you one there that exact countert
she changed her outfit too.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
Jeez, how do you feel about this, Travis Kelsey? Do
you like him? Do we like him? Or do you
think we could do better?

Speaker 14 (01:23:07):
In general?

Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (01:23:09):
For being on the cheese.

Speaker 14 (01:23:11):
He should go to the Lions.

Speaker 3 (01:23:13):
Yeah, we go solid move there, I like. But other
than that, we like Travis. Do you think they're cute together?
Do you think they're really happy? Do you think they're
really in love?

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:23:22):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:23:23):
Did you like any of her other boyfriends? What do
you think about this? Harry Styles? You like him?

Speaker 3 (01:23:27):
Not really?

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
Why is that? What is your prome with Harry Styles?
Just a just a he's too basic? Yeah, a little basic. Yeah,
that's what I think. That's what I always say about
Harry Styles. But so here's what we're here for, James.

Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
We are here for Make a Wish and we are
here for the Walk for Wishes at the Detroit Zoo.
Mary is here Planet Fitness of course.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
How long are you sponsor of the Walk the Wishes?

Speaker 3 (01:23:47):
So let's talk about this a little bit, some of
the details on this. We want listeners to go and
sign up to walk or donate, right, and it's all
going down.

Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
Tomorrow at the zoo TIMEO. Yeah, that's gonna be all.

Speaker 3 (01:23:59):
And you're to be out there, right, I mean you no,
you're not out there, but you're promoting We've.

Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
Been promoting it. Yeah, We've been a big partner with
Planet Fitness to get the word out, and I think
Plant Fitness is trying to raise one hundred and fifty
thousand dollars to help go towards making these witches come true.
So like ari Aria was a recipient of a past
Make a Wish that some of these funds have went
to go to to get her to the Taylor Swift Show.
And you can see like all the cool stuff that

(01:24:25):
they get to do for these kids who are dealing
with bad things, you know, with stuff that you know
makes life not fun, and then make a Wish comes
in and helps create some happiness in an area that
might not be you know, super happy. Correct, And you.

Speaker 3 (01:24:38):
Guys are obviously helping Plant Fitnesses all in on this,
and you guys want to help everybody out. So some
of the again the details for tomorrow, It's Saturday, May second.
You can get registered at seven point thirty. It's the
Walk for Wishes. It's at the Zoo, and you guys
are gonna just do great things with this. It's really
I enjoy when people who have power to do great
things and help people like get Aria the show. I

(01:25:01):
just make a Wish everybody like that does really cool
things and you guys are teaming up with them to
make that happen.

Speaker 16 (01:25:06):
Yeah, this is our eleventh year.

Speaker 13 (01:25:07):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:25:08):
Okay, wow wow.

Speaker 1 (01:25:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:25:09):
We've actually raised over a million dollars over the course.

Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
Of well fantastic.

Speaker 4 (01:25:12):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:25:13):
What different avenues? Like how do you raise all the funds?

Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
Like? Generally speaking, so anyone.

Speaker 12 (01:25:17):
Can walk into our club and donate.

Speaker 17 (01:25:19):
So we've got over sixty locations in Detroit, or you
can go online and donate through our fund raising on
the walker Wishes website.

Speaker 2 (01:25:27):
You have the walk for wishes dot org or I
think you can also go to wish dot org slash
from Michigan. Or if you want to participate, you just
come out to the zoot tomorrow morning. You can walk
right up donations on site. That's good, donations and walk.
How are things going at Planet Fitness. Everything's going good.

Speaker 18 (01:25:41):
Yeah, everything's been good.

Speaker 8 (01:25:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
James needs to get in the gym. He was telling me, Yeah,
I do I need to. I have a membership.

Speaker 12 (01:25:47):
I was gonna say, I think you've got a membership,
don't too.

Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
Absolutely, I do. I think Ari agrees that you just
you need to get in the gym. A little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:25:53):
Yeah, like, tighten up on a little it tight enough
a little He's he's.

Speaker 2 (01:25:57):
No Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 13 (01:25:58):
No.

Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
I try to tell him that you're Ivis Kelsey. So,
but this is awesome. What you guys are doing a
lot of walking is gonna go down tomorrow and it's
gonna raise money for a wonderful cause, and it's gonna
get kids like Aria out to all the concerts. What
else do you want to do in life? Are you
like that? Who are your other artists that you enjoy?
Other singers? Do you like other singers?

Speaker 14 (01:26:16):
Larson?

Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
Zara Larson?

Speaker 19 (01:26:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
I like her too. Are you familiar with that artist? Well,
visually yes, Musically I'm not Larson, so yes, But so
you like Zara Larson? Anybody else? Do you like? Sabrina? Yeah?
Kind of.

Speaker 14 (01:26:32):
I listened to a couple of her songs, but not really.

Speaker 2 (01:26:35):
How do we feel about Tate McCrae. I don't really
listen to no so other than Taylor and Zara. Who's
your next favorite singer? Do you like any boy singers?
Justin Bieber.

Speaker 14 (01:26:52):
Boom Boon a little bit.

Speaker 12 (01:26:55):
He's good.

Speaker 2 (01:26:55):
He does good songs and it's gonna mustache, which is
also good. How do you feel about mustaches?

Speaker 14 (01:27:01):
Fine?

Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Yeah, he really rocks the mustache. I think she's still
a little young to form on puting on mustaches. That's fine. Well,
and I guarantee there will come a moment well, just
it'll snap and you'll go. I don't like mustaches because
most ladies don't, but if it's on Benson Boone, I
think you do because he's a good looking guy and
he makes good music. So thank you. Well, I'm glad
that you stopped by our You're wonderful and I'm glad
you got to see Taylor and we could share our

(01:27:23):
shared Taylor experiences because she's awesome. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:27:26):
Good, And I guess you guys are gonna make the
rounds around here this morning. So and you guys, Marry,
you're doing wonderful and Make a Wish. You're all doing
so wonderful. This is the greatest thing that you guys
are helping me out.

Speaker 2 (01:27:36):
It is awesome for me. It's like my John Cena
moment because John Cena is very involved with the Make
a Wish and that's true. So when they asked me
if I would help him, yeah, absolutely, So if you
guys John Cena to come up and talk to You'll
be my make a wish if he has I don't
think I qualified. Just wants to meet John Cena one time,
I mean next to talk to him.

Speaker 21 (01:27:53):
Ask me what I want.

Speaker 14 (01:27:54):
My wish would be. I nearly just said I want
a million dollars so I can buy a Taylor's with ticket.

Speaker 2 (01:28:00):
Well, just ask Mary, Mary, she's got a couple of
You know what else you could do? If you can
have mom listening to wheels and maybe she would win
one thousand dollars five five after every hour from nine
a m. To nine pm.

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
Sure that could buy you half a ticket to see Taylor.
Maybe maybe that will buy you the uber to see
Taylor in concerts so anywhere.

Speaker 14 (01:28:20):
Or I can just buy a helicopter to just go
on stage.

Speaker 2 (01:28:24):
How much do you think a helicopter costs? I think
so it depends. Used. Yeah, use to us, maybe from Kazakhstan.
Thank you guys. You guys are wonderful. Thank you for
going out tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:28:37):
You can get registered seven thirty in the morning the
Walk for Wishes, the Make a Wish Walk for Wishes
at the Detroit Zoo. That's gonna be awesome Tomorrow mornings.

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
Or slash Michigan or just come on out to the
Detroit Zoo tomorrow morning. There you go, all right, thank you, Aria,
You're welcome. Alrighty, here you go. So we didn't get
into this yesterday. Pick it out autun I did. I
took it out. Audio didn't work there. Now it works
all right.

Speaker 3 (01:29:05):
So that said, uh, yesterday we didn't really get into
the David allen Co thing because David allen Co died
a couple of.

Speaker 2 (01:29:12):
Oh, it was a couple of days ago. It was
like two I think it was. I think this was
after we got off the air one day that this dropped.
Let's say I thought I saw the post after we
got off the yesterday. Oh is that what I watched? Okay,
but I mean, I don't know. It may have been
two days, it doesn't matter. He's the when my.

Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
Logarithm would read it in Dac is dead. So we
were talking about this earlier, about the best drinking song.

Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
It was.

Speaker 3 (01:29:33):
This, of course is the perfect country and Western song.
A good friend of mine, Steve Goodman, wrote that song,
and he wrote the perfect country and Western song, and like,
this is iconic drinking music. Here's what I need from you, guys,
I need your help by a texture on the phones
right now. You can text the number is five to
one eight eight one. Save that number on your phone.
Text the word Josh and your song to five one

(01:29:57):
eight eight one, or you can call eight seven seven
eight one oh sixty seven. What is doesn't matter the genre?
What is the ultimate drinking song? And they are varying levels,
like there could be the I'm sad drinking song.

Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
Those exist.

Speaker 3 (01:30:11):
Yeah, there's also the you know I'm just chill drinking
beer drinking songs. There's also I'm emoting drinking song. I mean,
there's varying levels of drinking songs. So I ask you
to you, dear listener, what is the ultimate drinking song?
And you can look at some of them like I
love red Solo Cup by Toby Keith. Anytime I'm hammered

(01:30:36):
sitting outside summertime drinking beer, and I usually put my
my bush lattes in a red solo cup. I love
red solo cup. I love you, I mean the beer
out into a cup, a solo cup.

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Yeah, I love red solo cups. And I drink a
lot faster, Okay, I drink them a lot faster when
I do that cup's always been like for a mixed cocktail. Nope,
not for me a friend as much as a keg. Yeah,
that's true.

Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
Mine is made for a bush latte, right, I also
love I guess it depends are you in a chill
yacht rock type of mood, because I can listen to
some Steely Dan and get bombed, you know, but there's
also moss tequila. Like if you Let's put it this way,
if you had a playlist that was beer drinking playlist,

(01:31:22):
what would be on the beer drinking music playlist is
what I'm looking for here?

Speaker 2 (01:31:27):
Really big fish beer.

Speaker 3 (01:31:28):
There you go, Text the word Josh in your message
to five one eight eight one, eight seven seven nine
eight eight one oh six seven is the number. That's
a lot of numbers, I'm aware, eight seven seven nine
eight eight one oh six seven. Or text Josh in
your message to five one eight eight one. Okay, that's
your options. If you're building the ultimate playlist for beer

(01:31:49):
drinking song, what would be on that list?

Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
Let me look at my playlist.

Speaker 3 (01:31:53):
I think I have a beer drinking playlist, or at
least I think it's a country beer drinks that you
sprinkly as somebody that would. I have one that is
called Josh's Sunday Beer Drinking, retro country, good time Hour, okay,
and that features songs like should Have Been a Cowboy
by Toby Keith title.

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
I know, courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. I
got a lot. I got like thirty Toby Keith drinking. Huh.
I do I love America. I got a lot of
Brooks and Done on this playlist. Oh, there's a lot
of good Kenny Rogers on here. You never hung out
with somebody that's u as in the country music as you.
I love retro country particularly. Then I've got a yacht

(01:32:31):
rock playlist, which is good. And then I've got the
Rock and America playlist which I built for July fourth,
which features some of those other ones. But then like
Nickelback will be on there Shine now just rock mixed
with some country, just stuff. I want to get bombed,
the good old American rock like Nickelback exactly, nothing like Nigleback,
like Nickelback. I mean, this is July first. The beer

(01:32:54):
barrel polka. Someone suggests there's a fun one roll out
the barrel.

Speaker 3 (01:33:02):
All right, so get your textent text the word Josh
and your message to five one eight eight one or
call eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six
seven and we'll read through some of those. Maybe we'll
build the ultimate beer drinking playlist today before we get
out of here. But we only have half an hour,
so what so much time and so little to do?
Strike that reverse it all right?

Speaker 2 (01:33:21):
Rip David Allen co rest in Power King, you do
reel work. We play Real Rock one O six point
seven w LLZ.

Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
Detroitce Wheels Guaranteed Human.

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
One o six point seven Detroit's Reels. Josh Jennis Show.

Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
Looking at some of the text messages from folks who
have drinking songs, suggestions, they.

Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
Got some helping you build a good playlist.

Speaker 3 (01:33:45):
Let's see, we have have a drink on me ac DC,
so we go one White Lightning by George Jones. Ooh,
Toby Keith, I love this bar. That is a strong one.
I can't even drink it away by Rich What's fascinating
is there are different levels of drinking you want to do.
Sometimes you want to party drink, but sometimes you just

(01:34:07):
want to or you want to be sad.

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Drunk, you know, and that's when country music really comes
in or you know, Lincoln Park or whatever. But like
you just want to be sad.

Speaker 3 (01:34:15):
Sometimes you want to drink to be sad, or you
know you're sad and you want to, you know, heighten
the sadness by drinking more and you know, emote and
watch you know, YouTube videos that make you cry.

Speaker 2 (01:34:27):
I've never really been down that road. Me neither. I
was just saying some maybe I swear I've never done
you know, drinking and sad now. I don't want to.
I don't want to mess with it. I don't trust Honestly,
that's the best drinking. The best drinking is just you know,
emoting over things. So you must be like the sad drunk,
not the guy that has to deal with the sad drunk. No, false,

(01:34:47):
It just depends on what's happening. Okay, most of the time,
I'm the happy you know, you're talkative, never shut up.
You know when one of your buddies is always a
sad drunk and gets hammered and then he starts crying
about girls or crying.

Speaker 3 (01:34:58):
I have like I've drunken they cried at multiple concerts, though,
which is.

Speaker 2 (01:35:02):
That's okay, but I have to have you every time.
I haven't drunkenly cried. But I have cried at concert.
You've be mooted at a concert. I've done that a
couple of times, and then I don't remember that I
did it. Like, boy, you sobbed for an hour at
this show, I'm like, did I You don't remember? I
didn't sob for an hour, but you know I did
teared up? Why That's why you're there. You want to
feel the moment, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:35:22):
But generally speaking, I'm someone that's more just, you know,
fun when I'm drinking, and it loosens me up a
little bit. I probably have what you might call like
a generalized anxiety around people, particularly or I just don't
want to talk to people. Like I'm a very kind
of quiet guy. You get me a couple of beers
and bought a bang. Now we're rocking and rolling. So
and I'm just a happier guy and I'm more talking.
I'm a more likable guy. But it does get to

(01:35:44):
a point where if I drink too much, I'm probably annoying.
But if I get that right level of drinking in,
I just like to talk and I'm like a likable guy.
Generally speaking, I'm not someone that's just gregarious. I think
people probably think I am if you listen to the
show and you're like, this guy's probably wild. Generally speaking,
I'm I'm a quiet person around, especially around people I
don't know. But then I drink a little bit, and

(01:36:04):
all of a sudden, I'm chatty. Like we were up
here for the jingle Ball and there was a client
little get together before jingle Ball before we went over.
When I got there, I was I hadn't had anything
to drink, so I just kind of walked around and
him haul around. But then when I do, and this
is probably unhealthy, but I'll go, you know, pound like
you know, two or three, you know, quick light beers, domestics,

(01:36:27):
and then get loosened up and all of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (01:36:29):
I'm like, hey, you're from what dealership? Hey, I need
to get a guy like this is kind of how
I operate. Get I louped up before you go out.
That's what I do.

Speaker 3 (01:36:35):
That's kind of my thing. You know, I just chug
a couple and I'm ready to go, and then you babysit.
After that, you chug a couple and then you get
loose and then you just kind of babysit and you know, don't.

Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
Pound him as much.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
That's my strategy, and that makes me more comfortable around people,
because if I'm not chatty around people, my wife gets mad.

Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
She's like, well, you ad addict to people. What I'm like,
I'm not meaning to be.

Speaker 3 (01:36:55):
This is just how I am like. I'm a quiet
person and I'm sort of shy around people. No, because
in my mind, I don't know if they want to
meet me or talk to me, or they're gonna think
I'm a jerk. And then in like this era, you
don't know what you're allowed to say without being offensive.
It used to be you can make like a dumb
joke about something you weren't worried that somebody would be like,
can you believe you said that? Now, everything you say
you don't know if people take it as a joke

(01:37:15):
or if it's serious or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
It be fun of my pronouns. Yeah, and you don't
want to be in that world. So, but if you
want to add some to the drinking playlist, as we
you know, you know, rest in power, mister David Allen co.
You never even called me by my name. Of course
I drink alone. That's a good one too. That's uh,
that is our man. George thorogood Ah drink alone. We're

(01:37:39):
nobody kill. We don't want to drink alone. I prefer
to be by myself. Picture of those lyrics to the
Godsmack song I stand Alone. There you go, but nope,
I drink alone. And then there's also I Alone by Live,
which was supposed to come up next. But here's the thing.
I think is in a meeting, And if Casey's in

(01:38:02):
a meeting, he won't know if I play something. We
normally don't plum because he doesn't go back and check
the logs. He might, I hope not, but if he's
not actually listening. I mean we're doing a bit. We're
talking about drinking songs. What if I just played I
Drink Alone by George Stargut's Friday, It's good Fridays. I'm
gonna play it and just nobody tell Okay, nobody tell
Casey Laura. But it requiet Laura.

Speaker 3 (01:38:24):
Oh yeah, I drink a lot and I was requested
drinking music.

Speaker 21 (01:38:30):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
Time to get out of here. Hopefully you have a
nice weekend of consuming alcohol alone or otherwise they're good.
Let's see, let's see beer by Merle Haggard was a suggestion,
there you go a lot of Toby Keith, Toby Key's
got great beer drinking country music, Man Brooks and done
got some good beer drinking country music, and go to
rebel country like older country, like a lot of Hank.

(01:38:54):
Of course, you know, all my rowdy friends are coming over.
All my rowdy friends are settled down family tradition and
friendly traditions. A great drinking song too, because you can
sing along with it. It's good.

Speaker 3 (01:39:05):
So there you go, all right, your next chance at
a thousand bucks coming your way in just a few
minutes with Laura.

Speaker 2 (01:39:11):
She'll have some rock and roll for you, and then
Rob Brant will be in here. I wonder what he drinks.
Do you think he's a beer guy or like a
bourbon guy. He strikes me as a bourbon guy. It
does sounds like his voice is aged, you know, by
the bourbon. I think you're like a deep, deep voice
radio voice. So he'll be up after Laura, and then Casey,
and then we'll be back here Monday to do more

(01:39:32):
for you. Because we care about you and we love
each other.

Speaker 3 (01:39:35):
All right, We'll see you later, Joshin this one of
