WLZ Detroit one oh six point seven, Detroit's wheels and
Radio station.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Guaranteed.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
H All right, welcome in six' oh nine Josh in
the show Josh and James this morning. Hello James, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
You know? Weekends still too short as always.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
That's usually how it goes.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
But otherwise, spinos are good. That's good, that's good.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
The today is a significant anniversary because well, technically yesterday,
but we weren't here. Yeah, the movie Twister is thirty
years old.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Wow, what a very seventy years What a significant anniversary.
It is very significant because, like the movie Twister had
such an effect on the world. I think it did.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
I don't. I think you're downplaying the importance of the
movie Twist.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Probably the reason why my wife Fearce storms every single
time a gray cloud rolls across the sky.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Well, that's significant.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
You know, see time those simons go off, he demands,
but they cover in the basement.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I love that movie. I'll watch it. You think about
movies you watch every time they're on. If you're flipping
through and it's on, it's like, well, stopping on Twister.
My wife gets super pissed. She's like I don't want
to watch Twister again. I'm like, well, you're gonna watch
Twister again.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I don't care about Dorothy in any of those censors.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Well you better start caring about Dorothy in those sensors.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I don't care how they use popcins to fix it
spoiler alerts.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Jonas went out and got corporate sponsors. So I love
that movie. And when I was a kid at the
time this movie came out, I lived in a little
town called Poplar Bluff, Missouri, population like sixteen thousand. Small town.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Is that in Torneo Alley?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
They they back in nineteen twenty seven the whole town
got wiped out by a tornado thing. Okay, mich wow,
but it's more so in danger due to meth. I'd
say it's more he's a better chance it gets taken us.
The modern day Twister there, you know by the huffing
paint behind the Walmart guy. Those might be a bitter
the classics modern day. But our movie theater, which was

(02:09):
this old movie theater in downtown Poplar Bluff. We had
two movie theaters at the time, and both of them
only had two screens. Okay, well, I tell you that
Twister played there for three months, So I saw Twister
at least five times.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
In the theater is the only option? Huh, I did.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So there was somebody I knew that didn't see it.
We went to see it. Oh, my aunt hadn't seen Twister.
We don't see Twister. My mom Hans seen Twister. We
saw Twister. Everyone saw Twister. So I had to seen
it five times.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Do you go on the ride at the theme park
when they had it?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
See I didn't get to do that, because I want
to say, there's got to be a reason why I didn't, because.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I think they just took the earthquake right and the
rebrained it.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
It is a twister.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, yeah, I could be mistaken on that, but I
believe that's what they did.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah I didn't. I'm trying to think of why I
wouldn't have. You know why, Well, no, that doesn't make
sense either, because yeah, I don't know why I wouldn't have,
but I didn't. I guess I didn't do that.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
They didn't have it at the park at the time
of your visits.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Maybe maybe I've only been to Universal in Orlando one time,
which is where that would have been. I've been to
Universal in La like five times. But I don't think
they have the Twister right there, but Orlando did.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Maybe I don't know, which seems really dumb considering that
I'm such a Twister connoisseur. Yeah, but yeah, it's a
very significant day today, and.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Even got the board game and everything.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Oh, totally different Twister, but I'll try it. That's one
of the parts the Red Dowd had to do with
the Tornado. I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
It's a very popular meme or gift or video right
now on Instagram. It's about Twister because there's a scene
in the Michael movie where you know, adult Michael Jackson
shows up at you know, his family's home.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And says, hey, guys, it just bought Twister, and all
his brothers are like, we don't want to play Twister
with you, Michael. This is dumb, and Michael Jackson sounds
like it could be a good time. I mean for
Corey Feldman. I guess all right, so we welcome you in.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
We will have sports here momentarily, as the Pistons play
tonight Giant game tonight, they don't want to end up
two to two with these guys. So we got that
coming up. And an unlikely hero for the Tigers last night.
Welcome in the Josh inn Is Show spoils. Yeah, the
hero last night for the Tigers a hero.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
There was a hero.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I mean, look, the Tigers were in danger of being
swept by Kansas City falling. What would they have been
like five games under five hundred would have had would
have been like what six and sixteen on the road
or something like that, six and seventeen they would have
been on the road had they lost that one last night.
But a gentleman by the name of Gage Workman hit

(04:51):
his first career home run. Wow, you might say, why
was Gage Workman up there? Well, because everybody that plays
for the Tigers is hurt pretty much. Carry Carpenter went
to the injured list, So they called up Gage Workman
from Toledo. Right, Gay's listen, pw we need you in
Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
We need the Workmen.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
And he gets there, comes off the bench, it's a
two run home run and the Tigers end up winning
six to three. But here's the best part. So Gage
Workman has a middle name, like most people do, his
middle name is Tater. So he hit a teater t
a t e R so a two run tater. I

(05:33):
don't know why home runs are called taters, but they
just are. It's a baseball thing. I don't know why
you've never heard that you hit a tater.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Usually had tot the end of that.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
It's usually order it red Robin.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Let's see why is a home run called a tator?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
What is the origin story of this?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Primarily due to baseball slang that originated in the Negro
leagues and most popular popularized in the sixties and seventies,
referring to a ball that is mashed or hit hard. Okay, yeah,
it's a tater. Yeah, there you go. So it's a
two run tater. So the Tigers snapped their five game

(06:16):
losing streak and avoid getting swept and back to back series,
and that is good for them. Unfortunately, they don't really
have much going for him right now. It's like the
run life support they have retroactively upgraded or downgraded. I
guess you would say, justin Verlander to the sixty day
injured list, which is retroactive, so basically like time served

(06:40):
is already part of that sixties So I think he's
eligible to.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Come back at the end of the month, I believe.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
But so Verlander's been out, it's just a mess. As
you know, this whole thing's been a mass.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
But hey, what Verlinder do pulled a hip or something?
But well I think so what was his? Was his
a hip issue?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
I'll be honest with you, I have forgotten that he exists,
Like somehow I have raced Verlander from my memory.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
You hear he gets.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Smoked his first appearance, and then he disappears, gone, and
then like you never hear from him again. You forget
that he's here. You're so excited that he's here, and
then you forget that he's here. Yeah, thank you. See
he gets it.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
He does.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Also tonight you get the Pistons and the Calves, and
which was a big game as predicted, the Pistons lost
Game three. If there was going to be a game
that Cleveland was no doubt going to win, you would
have assumed it would have been Game three. They were
better shooting from three, and the Pistons were not. They
hit what they normally do, nine they were right around
their number, whereas a couple of games go, they hit

(07:43):
fourteen threes, which is very uncharacteristic for them. They usually
average about ten. This game they had about nine. Hey,
and they made it a ballgame in the fourth quarter
after they rallied.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Butst of the game, did the Robinson still have his mustache?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I'd see, I'll be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I was at the.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Movies dark because kids, so I paid attention to it.
I went to see this movie about sheeps, oh, the
Sheep Detection. Yeah, I liked it, really adorable. Okay, So no,
it's hard for me to dedicate myself to watching a
basketball game at two in the afternoon on a Saturday
seem so early. I'm like, because if I'm gonna do that,
I'm gonna drink beer. And if I'm gonna drink beer,
then that that consumes my day because I'm not going

(08:22):
anywhere if I'm drinking beer. So I had to make
a choice.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
I'm like, well, this.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Game doesn't really matter, and then I know that if
even if they lose, they got game four Monday, and
that's at night, and I'll watch that. Yeah, I assume
he had his mustache, though why wouldn't he I don't know.
And he hit four threes again, the team only hit nine.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
He hit four. If he shaved it that might be
the end of the season, that's true. You know.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Can we get a Duncan Robinson mustache up date? Yeah,
we need to know, because if he didn't have it,
we could be in a whole heap of trouble.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Mustache coming in red almost president.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
You see here, Duncan Robinson mustache.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Probably somebody hasn't started a Twitter account by that handle yet.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Let's see. Duncan Robinson's mustache in the twenty twenty six
playoffs has become a notable, albeit divisive topic of conversationally. Yes,
the look has been described by fans as pure intimidation, awesome,
and uncomfortable. The mustache is often described as a playoff mustache,
with social media users noting he has been growing it

(09:23):
since his time at UM.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Mustache coming in rare almost precedent.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
There you go. Thank somebody refer to it as pure intimidation.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
And then my man's out there just drilling threes. He's
been on fire with that stash.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Timidy, if you're a child and you think you could
be beat approached by a predator, but that also could
be it, You're not wrong. That would be very timidy,
all right, and.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
That is sports friends, all right, coming up. Well, we
got a lot to do today, including one thousand dollars
which could be yours just after nine o'clock, and we
have got limbs on the runway, limbs on the we've
got libs, so we will get into all that.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
This is the Josh in his show on one Who's
six point seven double Llz Detroit Real.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Oh, six point seven Detroit's Wheels, Josh Inn Show.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
It's Josh and James. What's up?

Speaker 2 (10:15):
So the people of Philadelphia are very passionate bunch, their
spirited bunch, and their spirits were really crushed this weekend
because they got swept by the Knicks at home, and
they got swept by Who the hell did they play Carolina?
I think they played Carolina and hockey and got swept
at home. So both of their teams this weekend got

(10:35):
swept at home, and Philly people are wild and that,
like I think they look for an opportunity to hate
their teams more than love them. Like here, everybody's rushing
to defend the team, like they'll go out and lose
by forty, and everybody here is like.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Why do people think we sucked?

Speaker 6 (10:50):
The media, the national media thinks we suck and screwed
the medium, and we're gritty with all this.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Everybody in Philly though, although you know, it's funny about
Detroit Versus Everybody, Now they're selling Detroit versus like every
other team shirts too, And I was reading the comments
on it, and there's some people who are not happy
about that because it's like, well, then it's not special
to us anymore, because like I'm looking at the authentic
Detroit Versus Everybody site and they're selling like Detroit versus

(11:19):
San Antonio or sorry, San Antonio versus Everybody, and it
kind of sucks. I get why you have to. You're
trying to expand you got to make money. I get it.
There's like a finite number of Detroit Versus Everybody's shirts
that people will, you know, probably purchase, yes, but it
does suck when it's you know, Detroit Versus Everybody and
you open up their Instagram and oh, there's a New

(11:40):
York Knicks versus Everybody. Oh wow, there's a Cleveland Versus
Everybody shirt and kinda sucks. So I can get it,
Like I think people are dicks and they're on their
social media like, well are you doing this? You sold
out and I also understand why you have to try
to make a box and.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Sing it yeah. Yeah, but it neuters it a little bit,
takes away special news it does, it's not as special.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
I feel like, I like, I feel bad that they're
getting heat from people, because I think they're good folks
and they they're awesome stuff. Yeah, but I can also
understand where you're If you're a fan and you're a
Detroit person, you're like, this is our thing, yea, And
now it's you know, you'll be walking around seeing some
jimoke when.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Now Detroit's just on the same level as all the
other cities.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Now, I'm sure they've also been bootlegs sold for many
years of every other city too, But this is the authentic,
this is the real place.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
This is Detroit versus everybody.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
They're right in the same building as we are, and
now they're out there selling you know, New York nick
San Antonio versus there By, Cleveland versus everybody, And that
waters it down a little bit. I get that, So
I understand where people are coming from. That said, so
Philly people like really look for opportunities to hate their
teams more than love them. Right Like here, it's like

(12:49):
you'll go out and you'll be down three games to
one to Orlando like they were. And you'll read social
media here and it's.

Speaker 6 (12:54):
Well, the Minister of the national media doesn't give a
city love. Blah blah, phil down three to one. They
all hate the team. They want the team gone, they
want everybody fired. That's just the vibe of Philadelphia. So
they got swept yesterday and both sports over the weekend.
But yesterday the Nicks swept them in Philadelphia, and the
local news in Philly loves to send somebody out to talk.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
To fans after games. That's one of their favorite things
to do. They love to go to sports bars or
the arena and talk to fans.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Right, get angry, drunk guys to comment on their thoughts
on the sports team exactly.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
So here's what we're gonna do. Gonna play a song
here and then we're gonna come back. You're gonna hear
from angry Philadelphia fans, maybe sad Philadelphia fans. This is
the best part about Philadelphia sports is when they talk
to the fans after games. It's the laziest thing ever,
but it's the best thing they do. So we're gonna
do that after you hear inter Sandman almost six points

(13:52):
seven Detroit's Wheels Josh Ennis Show. So Philly fans are
truly only happy when they're miss It's just their thing.
They're just they like to be miserable. They I think
they just enjoy hating things more than they enjoy loving things.
Some people are that way, and when they love things,
they can't wait to start hating them again.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Right, That's just kind of their mo That's that's what
they do.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Right. So with that said, uh, this is a news
story from the Action News in Philadelphia. Channel six Action
News the number one news broadcast in all of the
Delaware Valley and one of their favorite things to do
after a big sporting event is go out to the
event or the local sports bars and talk to fans
about their disappointment or excitement about the game. Now, it

(14:38):
starts with the girl that's doing the news at the arena,
and it's all Knicks fans because Knicks fans took over
this arena, which is where we kind of start things.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Here. We're in live inside Exfinity Mobile Arena tonight, Cheyenne.
This game was booling what.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Right now the way, So now we're gonna hear from
Sixers fans. Now the whole arena has been taken over

(15:18):
by Knicks fans, which means Sixers fans all sold their
tickets before the game, which is a very hot topic there.
Kind of like the hot topic here is people bitching
that the fans don't put on the T shirts that
are in the seats. I don't know if you see
that on social media, have.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
A complain about that.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Oh God, people white. Why don't our fans put on
the match in T shirts? I don't know, because they
don't want to wear them. I don't know. Like people
get worked up over the dumbest stuff.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
They bought a special shirt for the occasion, they wanted
to wear that one.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Yeah. So, but this is where we're gonna hear from
fans of all shapes and sizes.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
I ain't gonna lie. This is a Mother's Day masker.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I left my son, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
It's fence. I'm thinking that I'm going down with the ship.
But I'm going down with the ship, So I'm making
the mama. I gotta give the Mother's Day mess. It's
a Mother's Day. It's the current Philadelphia.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Oh sell the team farting nurse. Everybody gone gone on.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
That kid is eight years wow, Like I'm watching this
video and there's always one kid who speaks like an
angry adult, like who obviously is like way too into
social media. Or he listens to his dad talk, or
his dad's listening to crappy sports radio in Philadelphia, so
he picks up on it. That kid's gotta be ten
years old.

Speaker 6 (16:25):
Sell the team, fire everybody.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Coach, we're getting clown.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, I got nothing.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
I think it was game six a few years ago
when the next beat us year and we walked out
and they were charing like this, it's worse this year,
and they got to play better, as he says, that
kid was even younger than the other one, and this
she gave us advice on how to play better. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Now this girl is my favorite.

Speaker 7 (16:48):
But I love too Well and I Woopie stays, I
look the Wold to you.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
They did amazing, but it's.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Just work freaking it really is. She goes, really, yes,
that's a heartbreaker, and it really is.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
I love too Well, and I Bookie stays, I love
the Wool team. They did amazing, but it's just the
word pre k.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
It really is.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Poor girl, sounds like somebody's still her dog.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
She's not doing well.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
She is not doing well at all.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Bliss her heart. Now, that's kind of a tame one.
There are other times these people are just losing their minds.
They're a fascinating bunch because, like, this is a relatively
soft market when it comes to the way sports are covered,
which most are, by the way, compared to like Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is a weird universe.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Like, it's like it's still a town where there's two papers.
Basically there's like a there's sort of two papers. One's
more of like a gossipy paper and one's the main paper.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
And people still read it.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Oh god, dude, it is like a time warp. The
state of Pennsylvania is the only place I truly believe
that people still read the newspaper. And it's the only
place where like cities still have dueling papers that side
of like New York, like huge cities. You go to
Philadelphia and they like they have to come up with
because they need people to buy what they're selling. There's
multiple sports radio stations, there's big blogs, there's newspapers, so

(18:06):
they have to look for drama and they care about
radio I couldn't get shot here. I could walk down
the road. No one would know who I am, Like,
nobody would know you go and you're on the radio
for five minutes in Philadelphia.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
No matter what radio station you're on, everyone knows you.
It is what it is, like a time war. But
it's like you stepped into nineteen eighty seven. It was
like the biggest Opie and Anthony town. You can still
walk around. It's like, okay, I'll give.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
You a story about Opie and Anthony and how big
they were in Philadelphia. So I'm in the car crossing
one of these bridges there, that's a toll bridge. On
the toll booth, there's still a whip them Mount Wednesday.
It's got a wowsticker on the booth. So you just
don't see that anywhere except Philadelphia. It is a wild
place where that kind of stuff still matters. And they're

(18:54):
always angry, And I think they're happiest when they're angry,
Like they don't know how to handle success, Like success
is not something they're good at. They're just better at being,
if you want to say, the underdog or whatever. They're
just better at being that the city that's losing versus
being the city that's winning their happiest when they're miserable.
It's a fascinating that's interesting. Yeah, And as you hear,

(19:16):
you got like people like this, they.

Speaker 7 (19:17):
Looked you well and say, I looked the.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
World to you.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
They did amazing.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
But it's just the word freaking.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Bless her heart.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
And there you goes.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
So that's what's happening in Philly after they got swept
in two sports this weekend. So there you go. All right,
let's play a little rock and roll Flollo six point
seven Detroit Wheels, Josh Ennis.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
That is sabam al Right, here's what we got.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Your first shot at one thousand bucks coming up after
nine o'clock today, so you got a shot at a grand.
We've also got limbs on the runway, limbs on the
run limbs on the runway. So we have that coming up,
and we got a big game four tonight in Cleveland.
Could go up three to one. Robinson's mustache is still alive.

(20:02):
It is spinaker, but but he's a good boy. So
and he's been hitting a lot of threes that mustache.
You look at him in the first three games of
this series. What does he have like thirteen threes or
something in the first three games.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
It's the mustache power. It really is, though his mustache
has powers.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Ah, but we'll get into that. We have a lot
to do. It's the josh Innes Show.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
It's the josh inn A Show on one.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Who's six point seven Dollzy t Wheels, The josh Innis Show,
sport alrighty, let's see here.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
We have got a hero in town. He's a hero,
a new hero. His name is Gage Workman. Oh and
he put in work Man got called up from Toledo,
had to come up because Kerry Carpenter got sent to
the IL. They said, we need your pal, we need
you to step up. He comes up in a three

(20:54):
to three game pinch hit roll Pop, hits a two
run homer and saves the day, keeps the Tigers from
getting swept by Kansas City.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
He got the assignment and he knew what to do.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
You know.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
It's also crazy, is this division's awful? So the Tigers
are nineteen and twenty two. They've lost five of six, but.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
We're still in second place technically in third, okay, but
the division goes this way.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
First place is Cleveland. They're twenty one and twenty one.
Minnesota is in last place, they're eighteen and twenty three.
The difference between first and last place in the Central
is two and a half games. And it's not because
every team is good. It's because every team sucks. I
guess the positive is if you're the Tigers, you're expecting

(21:39):
at some point to get you know, your whole pitching
staff back.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
You get the whole team bass.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
So if you can get the whole team back, just
hang around long enough, because this division's gone awful. It's
somehow worse than it's been, and it's been awful. Woh,
this division stinks.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
So at least they won that one last night to
avoid being swept and back to back series they have
lost five of six, but now they're on their way
to New York to take on.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
The Amazings the Mets. We have got game four tonight,
Game four for the Pistons as they look to go
up three games to one on Cleveland and Cleveland. They
lost over the weekend, which is predictable, won the first two.
They're desperatecher on the road for that's predictable. Now right now,
you go out, you win this thing. The Cavaliers have

(22:28):
still not had a game where they've shot the lights
out from three. Their percentage has been good. They haven't
had a game where they hit like sixteen seventeen threes,
but they are capable of that.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
But all things considered, drop two to one, you can
go up three to one if you get the win tonight.
Our man Duncan Robinson's just out there drilling threes.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
The mustache. He had let's say, four to threes in
the last game. I think in this series, Duncan Robinson
has just been bonker shooting three, which is why he exists.
He's not there for his defensive prowess. He has made
fourteen to three pointers in this series. You shooting fifty
eight percent from.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Three, five of eight, five of nine to four of seven.
That is exactly why he's here to do that, because
that wasn't the case in the first round. He had
think he was decent in the first round against Orlando,
he was shooting thirty six percent from three. In that series,
fifty eight percent. Now you would assume that's not going
to continue forever. But and he's got a lovely mustache. Ache, Yeah,

(23:31):
so sure has.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I mean, if you want to call it growing a
mustache then he has he's been working on since junior high.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
His final'strting to come in. Yeah, I could.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Almost press it in, n almost press it in.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
The mustache coming in red almost pressed it in.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
I who's got the greatest mustache of all time?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
I feel like we've had this debate before.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Well, you know what, We're going to have it many
other times. Pass Tom Selix got a great mustache. I mean, look,
that's a local one.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
If you want to be Homer on it and say
Tom sell like, then you can say Tom Selleck. But
I mean there are various kinds of mustaches. You know,
you got the fu Man chew.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Yes, you got the Hitler, which a lot of people
don't rock anymore, though Michael Jordan tried at that one time.
And have you ever see Michael Jordan's Hitler mustache? Google
it really quick, Michael Jordan Hitler mustache. You could also
call it a Charlie Chaplin mustache if you.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Like, I think Hitler kind of but yeah, like no matter, yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Like Chaplin had it first, but then Hitler said hold
my beer and comes in and says.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Now it's a Hitler mustache.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
A it's mine.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah, yeah, looking good there, mister Jordan's.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
Well, I mean, at least it's our boy Duncan Robinson
doesn't have a Hitler mustache. See, you got to look
for the positive.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I have a friend who will grow like a real
like pencil thin mustache.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Like ninth like snighterly whiplash.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Like that one director that does those weird movies. He
did the movie with hatchet face cry Baby. Oh yeah,
you're talking about John No. Oh, what is the John Waters? Yes,
John Waters, who grow who wrote mustache like that?

Speaker 2 (25:05):
He'll grow the John Waters that a little cry baby mustache,
little hair spray mustache. So there you go. If you
want to talk about mustaches, you can text the word
Josh and your message to five one eight eight one,
or you can call eight seven seven nine eight eight
one oh six seven.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
So all right, here's what we got coming up. Limbs
on the runway. We've got limb We've.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Got limbs on the runway that is coming up.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
But first we must play a song that totally fits
with the other music we play on this radio station
for every Lincoln Park and Metallica.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
There's Journey Ah, welcome man, it's the Josh Ennis Show.
Let's hear this story about the airplane that hit the
person on the runway. Boy, So this person just wanders
out onto the runway in Denver and gets taken out
by a frontier airline brutal way.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
That may be the worst way to go out, or
maybe not. Maybe it was instant.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
I would probably be worse.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Well if you go first, Oh yeah, well that would
be you know, first in the wood chipper.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
You win.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Your one upsmanship has gotten you today. Let's see here.
This is the audio from like the police call about this.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
We have a party walking on runway, once said and
left because we're sending fireworking.

Speaker 8 (26:22):
A light for that.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
You have a party walking on the runman, you're sending
the fire department redfi.

Speaker 9 (26:29):
Ritchie if I'm getting reports business a person walking down
a runway, so use caution.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
So this is the air traffic audio, correct, not officers,
but it's the air traffic audio of this whole ordeal
where someone walks on the runway and somehow the memo
didn't get to the guy you know, flying the plane,
the pilot. Again, I don't know how you stop in
that situation, but I don't know.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
I'm trying to get more information and Ritchie cooking in
siding about the delay runner one time, my three five
right is closed. I do have I do have limbs
on the runway. I believe they are crass struck in individual.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
We do have limbs on the runway. I believe we
have struck an individual.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
And it's not just that the plane struck the individual,
it's that they got sucked into the engine. So that
did they spit them back out the kind of like
a wood chipper kind of. Yeah. So from what I've
read in my research on this whole situation, the plane
was literally accelerating to take off, yeah, and that's when
they hit the person, okay, and the person got sucked

(27:29):
into the engine, and then that caused a fire. So
then they then had to evacuate that plane with limbs
on the runway. So there's people evacuating the plane. One
person says they thought they saw the limbs get kicked
out of the engine and tossed along the runway. And
then now they have body parts and a dead body
on the runway as people are riding down the slide

(27:53):
to safety because the engine is now on fire and
that had evacuate the airplane. This is like like worst
case scenario like airport or manager video game.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Stuff like and spirits like you closed dust down, Yeah,
we went big rend.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Okay, So we have a plane into an individual.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
It's like, help me understand this. Explain it to me,
like I'm five. So the plane hit a Person's like,
when's in the room?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Way? What do you mean by that? Is there some
new slang? Is this some new Denver airports lane?

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Yeah, I've got to what appears to be a just
each person.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
On the runway.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Okay, okay, okay, I see like in his body's like,
how am I going to get out of this one?

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Okay? Okay, I'm wrestline. Why don't you go up there?
Cause I make sure we don't have any other people
out there. Everybody else moving to their regular positions.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Get into your regular setup positions. You know this one
from the handbook where you know that guy gets hit
by a plane.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Remember your training. That's what the noise was, like his
brain just kicked in, Like, okay, remember your training.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
There is an aircraft they believe that captain thinks here
it could be a right engine fire off Fate is
on the south end with the aircraft.

Speaker 9 (29:04):
And Red Chief from Red Fire there does appear to
be human remains on the runway. We're gonna to the aircraft.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
We're gonna they're so calm and well that was then
going on. It would have been more exciting if somebody's
limbs been on the runway.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
We're gonna go to the aircraft.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Imagine the captain on the mic talking to the you
know how he talked to the cabin of the people. Yeah,
captain speaking, We're gonna have to take a slight little detour.
We killed the guy.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
We've got limbs on the runway. But for all your troubles,
we're gonna give you a complimentary water. Wow and uh hey,
and you can choose between pretzels or Biscoff cookies. All right,
and thank you for flying Frontier.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Sweet, we get a bonus biscough cookies.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Anchor man Red. You can have somebody to stay at
those remains?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Can you have somebody stay at those remains? Imagine having
to be like the lost limb babysitter.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Oh, you're just the guy that uses the little lu
I just wanted a guy that played into land.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Now I've got a I got a guy. People around
this arm Steve, Steve Chill, you have an important job
to do now. Steve Chill wah.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Horribly like this is this is not I'm supposed to
have a day off today, even supposed to be here today.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Yeah, looks like the.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Plane is gain. We're accuvated on both.

Speaker 9 (30:35):
Sides and red leaves red five. We do have to
damage the number two engine. Looks like we have a
fuel on the ground, no smoker fire.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Imagine that the pilot gets out, Look what you did
to my plan? Yeah, you destroyed the engine. That's gonna
cost me. So that's coming out of my chat.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
You a engine thirty two. Why don't you take the
passengers that are on the.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Side of that airplane.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Truck thirty one or you you think the passengers are
on the west side. Yeah, I've got the pilot with me.
At Red he's saying that the damage was to the
number two. He goes he's not.

Speaker 9 (31:11):
Aware of any injuries from the evacuation at this point.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
No, but he is also aware that there's a guy
who has been had his entire body incinerated.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
But outside of that, you know, the plane can be repaired,
but it's going to be costly. Guys over, we've got
the captain with us here. He is aware that there's
only two arms and a foot left of the gentleman
that he just hit with the airplane going one hundred
and thirty seven miles per hour. Yea, we're trying to
locate his shoe. We're gonna see if we get we
have found a foot. Though we found a foot in
his missing shoes, we're fairly certain it's from the same gentleman.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
We're not sure.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
And readily from ten thirty two on the east side.
We're looking for injuries.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Now we're gonna get a count confirmed with the flight
crew who plane his empty Pleave me.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
You think the injuries are psychological?

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Yes, is that he be seen by als over here,
both their ambulatory and I'm working on account for you.
I got three busses on their way. I believe medics
are over there with you right now. That's a permit.
It we split an X in half to one side
has to be a.

Speaker 9 (32:15):
Yeah, red lean in commands just vsize that the cycle
went up there to shut everything down, so to safe.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
At this point, everything's safe except if you know you know,
you're that guy that's been cut in half. Don't trim,
just don't trip over the limbs. Guys there, if you've
noticed a limb, just walk around step over it, please,
we need that for evidence. Somebody put a code over
it or something. God, can we get a harp? Like
the captain's on there, He's like, guys, this is a
particularly bad case of getting cut in half. So we're

(32:44):
gonna need back up over here. We're gonna need like
two could ever tarps?

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Do we have any information yet about why this person
was on the runway.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
From what we've seen, they just they were trespassing on
the airport. We don't know why they were there, but
they believe they got access to the runway by hopping
a fence.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
That's interesting.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
So let this be a lesson to everybody who's like,
you know what I want to do, I want to
trespass at the airport.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Don't do it.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
You might just turn into a couple of limbs.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yeah, that's that boy. So that's that interesting story though.
And the video you don't get to see the guy
actually get No, they have like a four. Yeah, they
have like a like a heat.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Sensor, you know, version, like like a drone version of
the video.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
But every album that I've seen, like they stopped the video.
Right as the plane's about to make contact with the gentleman.
I see, so well, there you go it before he
got sucked by in that engine. All right, I got
a story about a Kentucky woman coming up. This Kentucky
woman may be the mother of the year. Mother of
the Year from Kentucky. We'll get into that. It's the
Josh ni Show.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Like it or not.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
This is the Josh Enny Show.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
One of six point seven the WLZ Detroit's Wheels wear
Detroit's Wheels thousand bucks could be yours first shot just
after nine o'clock. Let's talk about a Kentucky woman. Kentucky

(34:09):
woman shun little kind of legs. I think this was
on my top ten Neil Diamond songs list that I
put together when I was hammered on Saturday. Oh yeah, Friday.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I don't know those games.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Yeah, they all run over.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
The Kentucky.

Speaker 10 (34:28):
She had.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Alright, so she got this Kentucky woman not as charming
as the Kentucky woman in this song. But here is
a Kentucky woman who is the early candidate for Mother
of the Year.

Speaker 9 (34:41):
In a Dare County.

Speaker 10 (34:42):
A woman is in jail after staypolye say she tattooed
a twenty two month old child. According to an arrescitation,
Brooke McDaniel told troopers she was tattooing her own leg
when the toddler walked up and stuck out his arm.
Troopers say she admitted to giving him a small black
dot tattoo on his right forearm with redness around the area.

(35:03):
Witnesses told investigators McDaniel call it a quote party dot
tattoo and claim the child wanted it. McDaniels is charged
with fourth degree assault.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Well, I mean, at least you talk him out of
again the giant's skull with flames.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Yeah, that's a positive. Well, here's what this is, James.
See what happens is we're in this weird world where people,
for many times political reasons, want to tell you that
young kids should make a lot of decisions they shouldn't
be making. Like there are people that believe like eight
year old kids should be allowed to vote. There are
people who believe that you shouldn't name your kid until
they're old enough to determine the name they want. There

(35:38):
are people who don't believe you should gender your child
until they're old enough to decide what gender they want.
There are people who take a perfectly healthy boy or
girl and that person that little boy or girl says
I want to be a boy today, and they're like, well,
all right, then let's start taking the injections. Like I mean,
people are nuts, right, And then what you end up
with this people like this who are like, again, I

(35:59):
don't buy that. The kid was like, give me a tattoo,
and she did it. Yeah, but like that's what people
do now, So like, if you're gonna get worked up
over this, then you should probably get worked up over
the thousands of other dumb things people do to their kids,
because everyone is fed out of their minds at this point.
I mean, you hear these stories all the time about
like I forgot when it was, but I was reading

(36:20):
stories about how people believe that young kids like that
are middle school and even younger should be allowed to vote.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
That's wild, they're kids. I didn't even like to vote
when I was at age for the student body president.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Well because like when we were kids, nobody wanted kids
to be political and nobody wanted kids to be heard,
like they didn't want any kids opinion. Now because people
have gone that bleep crazy, we're taking the opinions at
ten year olds and going, I think dods think that's good,
Like we've brainwashed kids, were taking kids from being kids
and making them adults way too early in this era.

(36:54):
Then you got this dumb woman in Kentucky who's like, well,
first of all, it's just a party dot. Lost in
all of this is this woman was giving herself a tattoo.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
She's like, I was sitting there giving myself a leg
tattoo and the baby walked up.

Speaker 11 (37:07):
Baby said, hey, mama, want me a tattoo as well.
It was tattooing my bigby daddy's name on my leg,
so he knows that is probably own my heart. Although
if you see this woman's picture you'd go look her up.
I don't know that she's got a man, and I'm
not sure that she isn't a man.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
This woman's name is uh Brooke McDaniel. I mean she's
got a bold cut. She's got like the hair of
a bully in a nineteen nineties kids movie like that,
they would call like Scud or something like that.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
That's why you don't want to miss around on the
playground with Scud.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Give me your lunch money, Pip squeak like, that's what
this person looks like.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
That's just Scud.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
And then like the other kids talk about Scud when
Scud's not around, like in this fear like, Oh, you
don't want to cross Scud. Well, that looks like that
hairstyle is the exact hairstyle that the kid in hocus
Pocus has. That's actually Max Dennison's haircut is actually what
this person has. So I'm not sure who impregnated this lady,

(38:08):
but someone who didn't do it on purpose, probably that
could be my guess. I'm gonna go out on a
limb here and say, whoever has the responsibility of putting
a baby inside of Brooke McDaniel when he got the
call that there was a baby inside Brook McDaniel.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
He probably left Kentucky. He left Kentucky, there's no doubt
he did. To a critique of tattoo, that little dot
is actually it looks like a fine well.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
I haven't seen the picture of it.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Say is it a good dot? Yeah, it's a very circular.
Oh yeah, good dot, good clean, good clean dot. I mean,
I mean the question is would did she keep it
clean for the days after? Did she soap it up?
A little bit.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Make sure it didn't get infected, I hope. So you
got to keep it wise, that's the key. You gotta
make sure scab.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
But there you go.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
That's's going on in Kentucky with Brook McDaniel.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Months not even two years old, not even two years old,
walking around. Now, I tat it up. Now, never gonna
get a job. That's gonna make things a lot more
difficult for that child to get a job. At some point,
you know, she had some restraints. She didn't give him
that face tattoo he wanted, That's true. When he wanted
that star in the corner of his eyes. He's like, no,
we're not trash, like I want Miss Rachel across my forehead.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Ma.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
He like has it on his stomach like he's too
pottlar life, you know, or like bottle life and he's
got a bottle on his forearm. Formula, you know, it
says Dug the Pug Life or something like that. He's like,
check out my bliopy tattoo. You guys like what I
got here? You guys like that this is my paw
patrol to f Paul Patrol is actually what it says,

(39:41):
F the Paw Police I'm a bad boy. She's like, no,
we're not white trash. We're not gonna do that. See
this is Blippy walking Chase. His Chase submits to Blippy
is f the paw patrol. Blippy is king. He has
a bluepy mobile. Oh god, which is my next tattoo?

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Kid goes into try to get a job at like
a bank or something, and like he's just about to
get the job and they look over. He's like, you
have twenty years old?

Speaker 1 (40:09):
And what's that on your arm? Lifts up to sleep?
Is that a tattoo? Is that a bluey tattoo on
your knuckle? It says bluey across. Anyway, all that said.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
That lady there is Oh, she's a mess.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Where's the dad?

Speaker 5 (40:32):
Had?

Speaker 1 (40:32):
Happy Mother's Day?

Speaker 2 (40:35):
What can you get the mom who's given you everything
like a tattoo when you're two years old?

Speaker 1 (40:40):
I guess bail money?

Speaker 2 (40:44):
W l l Z Josh in the show feel bad
to the people in Auburn Hills and up and Orion
Township because they've got the water main break up there
and oh it's not good. It is not good at all.
It's a state of emerged and see up there, So
I feel bad for these folks because they they got
to do all that and it may be going for

(41:05):
I was seeing some story that it could be weeks.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Holy cow. Yeah, so that is not good news for
all the people at Auburn Hills and the world. That
is not good.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
So the latest on that, let's see here the City
of Auburn Hills and the Great Lakes Water Authority of
providing updates on significant water main break affecting parts of
northern Oakland County communities. So let's see. The water main
break happened one thirty am Sunday morning at Riverwoods Park.
The water main that is affected is a forty two

(41:37):
inch transmission line, so it's impacting ten thousand customers, not
just ten thousand people. So there's a lot of people
that are having to deal with some serious water issues.
So that's and what's even worse is like, yeah, it sucks,
but the amount of time they could be dealing with
this is the worst part. I mean, they've already canceled

(41:57):
some school in the Lake Orient communities schools they canceled
school today, and all the schools in that district have
canceled school today.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
So it's a facilities that are working. We're running water,
no flushing toilet.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
Three drinking water stations are available for the community to
pick up water if needed. That's wild Wood Amphitheater at
water Park, Auburn Hills Department of Public Works. So yeah,
it socks for those people. I feel bad for them
up there.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
That is rough. So all right, here's what we got.
We will do sports here momentarily and you'll have a
shot at one thousand bucks coming up just after nine
o'clock the Josh.

Speaker 12 (42:34):
Innis Show, one of six point seven.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
WLV Detroit's Wheels with Josh Innis Show Sports. Oh so
tonight we have got Game four, a big one for
the Pistons obviously, as they are up two games to one,
trying to go up three to one and basically in
that series, although last series we did learn that three

(42:56):
to one is not a guarantee. No it's not, but
it's obviously a big game tonight in Cleveland. We still
haven't seen Cleveland hit a ton of threes yet. I
think there's one of those games that they are due
to hit seventeen eighteen threes and if they do, that
is a game that they will in no doubt win.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
We will match them with the power of Duncan Robinson's mustache.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
You really can't deny the power of the must as
he stash for stash of those three four years.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
You going to mustache. So I mean, look, the guys
hit fourteen three pointers and is shooting almost sixty percent
from three through the first three games, which is exactly
why he exists.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
So he's doing exactly what he's there for, which is good.
So we'll see how it goes tonight. This series could
be two to two, then become a best two out
of three and then who knows. Again, Cleveland, for everything
that's happened in this series, they have been in each
of these games down the stretch. Now, each game, the
first two ended with a you know, ten point difference,

(43:54):
but with you know, a minute two minutes to go
in those games, we're talking to three four point games.
They the games were not you know, guaranteed locks in
the last couple of minutes of the games for either team.
So these games have been close the first three. So
one ball bounces one way. If James Harden doesn't turn
the ball over, who knows, Now James Harden does turn
the ball over, because he's James Harden and that's what
he does, but especially in the playoffs. But still, it's

(44:17):
gonna be an interesting one. And actually Cleveland has favored
in this game tonight, so we shall see how it
plays out. Last night, we had a hero, a new
hero in town named gage Work. My gage Age had
a pinshit home run for his first ever Big League
home run. Fun fact, his middle name is Tater tat Er,

(44:41):
so his first Tater ever was a game winner for
the Tigers in the game they really needed to win.
I guess really they didn't because they're only a game
and a half out of first. Because this is the
worst division maybe ever, we might be on the verge
of seeing like and it's amazing because the Central has
stunk for the last handful of years. It might be
out doing itself now because this division is awful and

(45:05):
you're only a game and a half back in a
year that you're nineteen and twenty two through the first
forty one games. So has that we had about the
quarter pole of the season. Is that where we are
forty one eighty two, a little over a quarter of
the way through the season, and you're only a game
and a half out, and that's with Verlander not playing

(45:25):
at all, that's with Schooble now on the IL for
maybe a couple months. That's with Casey miz now being out.
That's with Kerry Carpenter now being out. They've dealt with
a lot. All you gotta do is hang around, get
into the postseason. If you get in and get into
a short season with the three guys you have with
Fromber and Justin Verlander and Derek Scouoble, just still have

(45:46):
a shot. And now it's looking like you'll probably have
to win the division to do that because I don't
know that a wild card's going to be in play
this year because of obvious reasons, because you're nineteen and
twenty two and there are gonna be teams that are
just you know better. Let's see what the wildcard looks
like right now. Well, currently, I guess I take that back.

(46:09):
The wild card is also in play. You're actually closer
in the wild card than the division.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
I forgot.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
There's like thirty wild cards now, so yeah, my bad.
Currently the White Socks are in the wild card. You
know what you're gonna get in. Just stay above water,
don't die. Is basically just don't fall off a cliff. Hell,
the Astros are nine games under five hundred. They're three
and a half games out of a wild card. The
American League total clown show. Just a clown show.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
And there you go.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
That is sports.

Speaker 3 (46:40):
All right.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
We talked about the significance of the movie Twister thirty
years ago. Yesterday this movie was released. Okay, yeah, let's
talk about movies and movies that are on every time
you stop and watch them, like your movies that are
like that, Like these are the ones that it's on
I'm watching, all right, let's talk about that. You can
get in on the text text the word joshing your

(47:01):
message five one eight eight one. You can also call
eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Also a thousand bucks. About an hour or so from
right now, you'll have a shot at winning one thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Ah, what a day.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
It's old chilly today, and then it's gonna get warmer
this week. It's gonna get into the eighties, I think,
in the little eighties this week. But this morning it
was a little chili.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
It was a little chili, little frosty.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
But there in a couple of days you're gonna get
a little warmer, and then you know, it'll probably snow
two more times. And then I tell you the other day,
I was out in the lake Orion walking my dog
and there was a guy that was mowing his lawn
and it started snowing. It was a weird visual anyway,
Foo Fighters.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
Now, Well, there's a song from a movie that I
can watch every time.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
It's on Varsity Blues. We go love that one. I
just have a recorded VHS, like a bootleg tape that
had Varsity Blues and cool intentions on it.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
I would just watch that Bad Boy on loop. Now,
was it like dubbed off of HBO or does somebody
like I have like the two VCR look at you?

Speaker 2 (48:03):
My grandpa bootleg. Yeah, he had two. So he would
go to the video store and he would rent, you know,
whatever movie I wanted to watch, Yeah, and he would
bootleg them and he didn't sell them or anything. It
was just for you know, our own personal use. So
we had every movie you could ever imagine bootleg and
then he'd like cut out the like the logo of
the movie from like whatever magazine or something and tape it.

Speaker 3 (48:23):
On the thing.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
He really he really went in on it. He enjoyed it.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
But I had that one. But I could watch Varsity
Blues every time. See And I know we've had this
discussion before, but I really think that's a man thing.
Like I don't think women can watch the same movie
a hundred times and enjoy it. I mean, I'd ever experienced.

Speaker 1 (48:40):
I think there's certain movies that they probably could, But.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
But I think it's more of a dude thing to
just sit around to watch and quote these movies. Like
my wife will occasionally quote things, but my wife doesn't
just sit there and religiously quote movies or speak in
movie quotes, right, So I just think that's a dude thing.
But Twister came out thirty years ago, yeah, yesterday, And
I told you my little small town I lived in
Popular Bluff, Missouri. We had the one movie theater downtown

(49:05):
and had two screens. It was one of those old
movie palaces where they twinned the screen so basically it
was one big room. Then they added like a divider
up at the top to make the balcony. Another theater
type of deal as one of those as old school.
And the movie that was showing for like three solid
months was Twister. So I saw Twister at least five
or six times as a kid. But what is that movie?

(49:28):
That's the question I have for you At five one
eight eight one, Text the word Josh and your movie
to five one eight eight one or call eight seven
seven nine eight eight one oh sixty seven.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
What is the movie?

Speaker 2 (49:39):
More so than any of them that when it is
on TV, when you hit the guide and you're scrolling
through and you see that movie is there, you are
stopping to watch it each time because for me and
my wife can confirm.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
This, it is Twister shonas son of a Bitch.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
That is what I like.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
If it's on, I don't care what part of the
movie it's on. Twister goes on and I will watch
it until it is over. For me, that movie is Twister,
and that is thirty years old, which makes me feel
really old. Twister thirty years old, nineteen ninety six. Yesterday
it turned thirty. James, what is the movie that when
it's on every time, more so than any of the others,

(50:18):
that you will watch every time it's on.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
It's going to be either Billy Madison or Hathy Gilmore,
Okay Sandler, those are on that's exactly what I just
I stop scrolling and just turn.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
It outside and then just start quoting it. Like I
just think it's a dude thing. I think as a dude,
you watch movies and you quote them. It's just what
we do.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
I don't like.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
I know that some women will speak in movie quotes,
you know, so I'm sure they exist, yes, But dudes,
every dude on the planet has a friend of his
that they just speak in movie quotes. Like this morning,
I texted my buddy who loves Twister. We just start
speaking in quotes from Twister, mostly from Bill Packs.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
Jonas went out and got himself some corporate sponsors. Like that,
we just speak of that.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
I got another buddy. We all, I'll just speak in
fast times at Ridgemont High. I got another buddy. We
speak in Dewey Cox quotes.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Like this is just what we do. I don't think
that's a woman thing. The movie quotes is like your
love language, it really is.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
Let me see here, let's take a few phone calls
on this here.

Speaker 1 (51:14):
Let's see Hello Wheels, you're on.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
Oh yeah, the movie, Well, there's two of them, Ghostbusters
and Back to the Future.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
Oh yeah, two.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
Well and that's the thing that thank you brother. Back
to the Future. I went to see it in the
theater a couple months ago. God, I forgot how much?
How could I forget? I just love that movie. But
it is true, like you just speak in quotes like
I can speak. First of all, you just quote the movie.
So if it's someone who's not as into the movie
as you, they get annoyed by the fact that you
can quote every movie. So would you say that Billy
Madison fits into the category of movie that you can

(51:45):
quote all the way through?

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Probably? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
For the most part, I have a lot of those
because I'm just a dork. But Back to the Future
would be one of those as well. But when Twister
is on TV, Twister goes on, we watch it, and
my wife goes, do we we know what's good?

Speaker 1 (52:00):
I'm like, I get it. Yep. But I love Twister,
and I feel like I've been playing like the Back
of the Future Part three. I feel like that's been
on TV quite a bit. I love Back to the
Future Part three.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
I think a lot of people give them me too.
But I think a certain generation loves the second one
because it's you know, it's the future and it's more
almost got the hubboard. To me, the hoverboard is what.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
Made the second one because I want to skateboard that
floats totally. But that's the thing is I love the
third one. I don't really like westerns, but I love
the third one. I think it's great. But anyway, if
you want.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
To get in eight seven seven nine eight eight one
oh six seven, you can text text the word Josh
in your message to five one eight eight one. Here's
what I'm looking for this morning. What is the movie
that every time it's on, you stop and you go,
let's see Jurassic Park. I've got airheads? Airheads is another?

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Is that ever on? I know I wish it was,
And you can't find it streaming.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
Anywhere, Like, that's hardly ever on.

Speaker 1 (52:53):
I'll look forward even on Prime to Buy, and you
cannot find their Like I think the last time I
watched that was on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I mean that was years ago, and that's not there anymore.
Jaws and Bad News Bears, I've got here. There's more
than just one brother, and I agree with that. I
would put Super Bad in that category as well. Super
Bad as one of my favorite movies ever. But every
but it's on TV some but not as often as Twister,
which is on every somewhere in the world. Twisters on TV, right, sure,

(53:22):
I saw it on the Guide at least once last week.
Somewhere in the world it's on, So there you go.
All right, if you want to get in text the
word Josh in your movie the five one eight eighty.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
One, we will play some rock and roll for you. Now.
This is seven Mary three. It is cumbersome. We've got
Motley Crue tickets as well today. What time is that nine?
One hour for now?

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Motley Crue tickets, Detroit's wheel Hi, Detroit's Wheels.

Speaker 1 (53:46):
Let's say Talladega Knights. That's from Tracy and Detroit. Hello Tracy.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
That's another movie that I could watch a million times,
but it's not one that I seek out, right, or like,
I guess the point of this is not that you're
seeking it out, but like, if Talladega night Ights is on,
if I'm scrolling through the Guide and I see that
Talladega Knights is on, my first instinct is not to
stop on Talladega Knights, right.

Speaker 1 (54:07):
That's how it is with Twister, though with Twister it
is like that you gravitate towards it correct.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
The second I see it, I'm like, I gotta watch this.
Got someone that says Smoky in the Bandit bounce all
over Joe. I'm with you on that one. Now, I
would I love Smoking in the Bandit. If that's on,
I'll stop and at least watch some.

Speaker 1 (54:25):
Of getting more text about like God, the Godfathers or Goodfellas.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
No, it's a lot of just comedies. I don't know
that people are gravitating as much towards like long dramas.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
You know.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
I mean that's true, but I don't know a good
fellow Gladiator.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
I got Gladiator on here, Biodome and and Sino Man
so so actually, and for going my man, we're gonna
go with Son and Laws. That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
God, I love Son in Law's a good movie. Let's
see overboard about that one, the original Remax. I would
imagine the.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
Original considering the other movie this person posted is what
about Bob Okay?

Speaker 2 (55:00):
So I'm going to assume it's the original Stripes with
Bill Murray, Roadhouse and the original top Gun. So the
original Roadhouse and the original Top Gun was on there
as well, So if you want to get more of
those in you can text the word Josh and your
message and your movie.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
It's funny. The last time Roadhouse was on, I definitely
turned out one on too. I hadn't do it.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
I'll watch it if it's watching.

Speaker 1 (55:23):
Don't want to riff some guys throat out.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
I think I've asked you this before, But since it's
thirtieth anniversary of Twister, the movie that I saw the
most in theaters was Twister, followed closely by Wedding Crashers
and Super Bad. Okay, Wedding Crashers I probably saw four
or five times as well, because I'd go see it
a buddy hadn't seen it then. I just wanted to
go see it again, Like I love the movie. What
movie do you remember seeing the most in the theater?

Speaker 1 (55:48):
Either Signs or Men in Black Now Signs. I loved
the way m Night tied the whole like yes, like
things happen for yeah, Like all the things that were
like weird and quirky about these characters all tied together
at the very end of the movie, and I thought
he did that perfectly. And bringing aliens and you know.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
Well the scene with the birthday party and the alien,
it's one of the creepiest things ever. I put that
right up there with when I saw Final Destination the
first time in the theater, back when theaters were sold out. Ok,
and everybody's right on top of each other. It's not recliners.
The scene when what's this curse?

Speaker 1 (56:20):
Smith?

Speaker 2 (56:20):
I think is who?

Speaker 3 (56:21):
It was?

Speaker 2 (56:21):
Well, like back's into the street and gets plowed by
the bus. Just the shock that everybody had. They were
almost laughing and it was so shocking. Like those are
things I remember from being a kid and going to
the movies, and the kids they'll never get it now,
because yeah, you might see a full house, but even
a full house of recliners with people.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
With blankets close to the amount of people that in
the theater, not close, and you were stacked on top
of each other, right, like you're just in this. Having
to cross in front.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Of people at the movie theater when you were a
kid was the most fearful thing ever.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Now it's nothing.

Speaker 2 (56:52):
You just walk in front of a recliner, having to
cross over twenty people to get to the end of
the road. Oh, it's the worst, especially if the movies
at the moment. God, it's terrible. Wolf kids today, I'll
never know that life.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
No, but that was the life when I was like,
I don't know, do I need a refill? So I
kind of do.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
Now it's like I'm going to go get my refill
and p or you just you know, hit the button
on your phone and somebody brings.

Speaker 4 (57:17):
You the other thing.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
Yeah, the convenience.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
It's like I was over at the Imagine Theater this
weekend and like there's someone on their phone. Someone runs
out of Hell.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
I'm like, what a world. Here's your hot pretzels, sir?
What a world? All right?

Speaker 2 (57:30):
So coming up nine twenty five Motley Crew tickets just
after nine o'clock, we will have another chance at one
thousand dogs.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
Also, we have.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
Maybe some more rock and Roll Jeopardy today. I'm I'm
bumping last Friday just quit. It might be time to
hang up Rock and Roll Jeopardy for good, but we
will see. It is the Josh Inness Show.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
Listen to the Josh in his Shirt Anywhere is that
double llz as a pre set on our free yard
radio app.

Speaker 2 (57:58):
Well, those takes twenty seven to It's wheels. We will
have those Motley Crew tickets at nine twenty five. I
am Josh, he is James the more I watched the
video of the guy getting taken out by the plane.
Watching that, I have like I see people commenting, Oh,
what a horrible way to go on. The guy killed himself.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
There's no way you.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Can just accidentally get hit by an airplane unless you're
strung out, like suicide.

Speaker 1 (58:21):
It had to been There's no way that. Like it's
a train.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
It's like getting hit by a train. Like, I don't
think you just get hit by a train. Like you
either want to get hit by a train, or you
don't right, or you're super hammered or super effed up
in some way with chemicals that you just you have
no clue where you are. There's no way you wander
on to an air strip into an airport and then
just oh, I accidentally walked into a plane.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
There's no way it's a plane.

Speaker 2 (58:50):
Again, you would even though it was dark, you'd still
see the plane or lights on the plane.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
I mean, you come on.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
The person had to have done that on purpose. There
is no way anything other than that happened.

Speaker 3 (59:01):
I do have limbs on the runway. I believe they
are crass structing individual.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
There's no way.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
There's no way you just wandered out there. Oh, God,
a plane's about to hit me.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
There's no way.

Speaker 2 (59:10):
And I'm reading comments from people on this, like how
did nobody see him? Because he didn't want to be seen.
I guess he walked down got hit by a plane.
He had to have wanted to have gotten hit by
this plane or she.

Speaker 3 (59:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Do they confirm it was a male? Okay, so dude,
women aren't dumb enough to go out that way. No,
you will never hear a story of a woman getting
hit by an airplane.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
That is a dude. This is a suicide thing. Maybe
the woman forced the man into doing that because she
kept arguing with him.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
Maybe that's it. He got tired of arguing. He said,
I'm gonna I'm gonna die today. Well, how I'm gonna
have a plane hit me and suck me up into
the engine and spit me back out in parts?

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Yeah, my limbs, I'm not runway limbs on the runway.

Speaker 3 (59:52):
I do have limbs on the runway. I believe they
are crass, structing individual.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
So what do you think? Do you think this person
did this on purpose or what?

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
I didn't really didn't like that. I thought it never
crossed my mind like it could be done on purpose.
But I mean what you're saying makes sense, it could possibly.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
I just don't know how you accidentitely get hit by
a plane.

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
And I mean I'm just trying to think, like because
he would like the engine for the airplane would still
be way above his head. So it just the guy
has to be a matter of if he was just
in front of the airplane and it sucked him up,
you know, I just I don't. I just look, if
you guys want to get in eight seven seven nine
eight eight one oh six seven, I am all four
and you're watching like the infrared, like the infrared video

(01:00:32):
where you see like the little white blip like walking
out and then kind of just stop.

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Yeah, Like you don't just accidentally wander onto a runway
unless you are really strung out, which I guess they'll
never know unless they can, you know, do a toxicology
report on whatever limb is still there.

Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Being of blood and one of the limbs, I guess
I don't know, but unless they let it all run,
you know, bleed out.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
All I do know though, is that like like it's
a mystery as to how the guy, not how he
got there. I mean we all know how he.

Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Got there, but the question is why. We don't know
the why.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
And I'd love to get people's feedback on this at
eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six seven.
You can also text the word Josh in your message
to five one eight eight one.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Denver man walks onto airplane runway. It's sucked into engine.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
But why because he was trying to kill himself. Like,
and I know that everybody tries to make sense of
these sort of things and like say, oh, what a
horrible accident.

Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
That wasn't an accident. You cannot accidentally get hit by
a plane. And how does he know possible to accidentaly
get hit by a plane. He's a suicide thing too.
What it would have happened if the plane what if
it would have taken out all two hundred and so
patches passengers on the plane.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
I don't think he would have cared at that point.

Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
I mean, he's in parts.

Speaker 2 (01:01:44):
It could have been way way worse than just himself.

Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
No, I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
So people are looking at this story like it's this
great tragedy, and yeah, I mean it's an ff story tragic, yeah,
but it could have been far worse because as you
put it, there could have been other people dying, and
we don't know like the tragedy would be if this
was an accident. This was not an accident. It couldn't
be an accident. Like I could even see a scenario
where a guy's driving drunk and falls asleep in his

(01:02:09):
car on a train track gets taken out by a train.
That's possible, it's final destination, ee, but it's possible. But
at least people have the right to be near a
train in their car. Nobody has a right to be
near an airplane in that situation. So this guy already
jumped over a fence to do this. You had to
have had some sort of bad intentions in that.

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
Yeah, Yeah, I agree with where you come from with
that absolutely all.

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Right, So if you want to get in text the
word Josh and your message to five one eight eight one.
You can also call eight seven seven nine eight eight
one oh six seven.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Way to go, man?

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
I mean, like, I wonder if you see the plane
coming right before it takes you out. It's the same
question I would have, Like when you're falling from a
great height and like you're about to hit the ground,
You're like, well, here we go, like, I'm curious.

Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
Go to rotten dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Don't give us all the details.

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
What if you just did it in front of the
plane with his eyes closed out like Shawshank redemption when you.

Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
When you finally get that where. Yeah, maybe I don't know,
but I just I feel like this guy did this
on purpose. I just can't imagine a universe where you
accidentally get hit by a which is saying.

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
That makes sense because you know, let's like you said,
he's totally strung out or he's high off his ass
and somehow he found his way on Like there's no
way you like, like you just walking like, oh true,
it's a plane. Oh no, Like it's a plane.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
It's huge. There's no way you accidentally get hit by
a plane, all.

Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
Right, Josh in a show.

Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
It really is.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Detroit's wheels, Josh in a show. So I got a
text here from someone.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
I think it's when we were talking about being kids
going to the movies and having to cross over because
your dad would always send you. That's at least my dad.
If we needed popcorn or something, my dad would go, Josh,
go get up. So I'd have to cross over in
front of people and it was the most fear Like
I've never feared anything more than I feared that. And
that's where I learned, actually from my dad, to sit
on the aisle, like a lot of people like to

(01:04:02):
sit in the middle at the movie, like, it does
make a difference. I always sit on the aisle, the
very last seat of the road. That is where I sit.
My wife has had to learn to deal with that
and go into the movies with me. I do not
sit in the middle. It's always on the aisle. So
I got quick in, quick out, ready to go bang.
But I got a text here that says I feel
the same way at concerts. I get there early so

(01:04:22):
I don't have to file through the crowd. Concerts I
view a little bit differently. But if you're in like
actual seats for a concert, it's a nightmare. If you're
on the floor for a concert and most people are standing,
it's okay. But if you're in an actual seat for
a concert, nightmare. These are my nightmares.

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
I'm fine with crowds. I don't like having to cross
over in front of people. Yeah, it's in inconvenience to
like I'm interrupting their show. I'm interrupting their experience.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
And the seats are very narrow, so I don't want
to fall. That's another thing, especially if you're in actual
seats and you're like I'm in the upper deck. I
have this irrational fear of like tripping and falling down
a whole thing of seats and then falling off the
edge and plummeting to my death.

Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Just be careful. If the Rolling Stones ever coming to Hodfield,
Yeah that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
But anyway, so there you go. Here's what we have
coming up. Just a few minutes from now. You will
have a chance to win one thousand dollars nine to
twenty five. You have a chance to win Motley Crue tickets.
That will be exciting, right, Motley Cruez coming to town.
And as you know, I'm a big Motley Crue guy.
Despite the fact that Vince Neil is really not good
at anything, I still enjoy him, Like I will always

(01:05:30):
be committed to Vince Neil. His attempts is worth the
worth the there's noble Like I saw some guy this
week and I saw a video and this guy who
went to a David Lee Roth show and he was
super mad. He's like I wasted all this money and
DLR sucks and he can't sing. I'm like, bro, we've
known that for years. Watch any video on the internet.

Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
You knew that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
That would be like me going to the to the
Motley Cruz show and being pissed that Vince can't sing. Like,
I'm well aware Vince can't sing. If I'm going thinking
I'm going to hear some great vocal performance from Vince Neil,
that's on me and I get what I deserve. I
go knowing that it's gonna be a train wreck. Yeah,
that's why I see Vince. You can see older women
with you know, very staggy breasts exposed.

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
Yes, like you will at every show that we have
something to do with. That's that's that's our ticket to
you for something. Hey Decker, this is Vincitil. I want

doctor feel Good? There's actually a chance that he falls
off the stage. Well, every Miley Cruise show there, That's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
But I've never seen it in person.

Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
They have those eyes on that weird betting app or
you can just bet on random stuff like alien invasions
and nuclear.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
Following Vince Neil falling through a hole in the stage.

Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
No, I've not enough of this. I think I quit
rock and roll Jeopardy for it. I think I've had it.
I really hate celebrity rock and roll Jeopardy because I
feel a pressure to be funny, and it slows down
the momentum of the game. It goes down the momentum
of the game. And I don't care what Moon Unit
Zappa has to say. Don't try to be funny.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
You got seventeen correct and seven incorrect? And what a
good day?

Speaker 2 (01:16:56):

just ring the bell telling people to call let people hey, look,
let people know, let them know.

Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
They're coming to get you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
You're ignorant.

Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
They're coming for you, Bob bro So.

Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
Twentieth eight seven seven nine eight eight one oh six

seven is the number? Do you want to see a
rock and roll concert? It is Motley Crue. I'm going
to take the first call that comes through, and I'm
going to see if the person even knows what tickets
were giving away. And that's one of my favorite games.

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
And maybe they will.

Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
Maybe I'm not giving them enough credit, but I know
a lot of people just hear tickets and they call

who's this?

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):

Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
Pal?

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
Hey, I'm looking for Molly Crue.

Speaker 3 (01:18:14):

Speaker 1 (01:18:21):

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
I'll ask because if people not just be pigs that
call up all the time looking for free stuff, at
least want the stuff that's free and know what you're
calling for. Thank you, Scott. Will put you on old.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
He made my day. Scotty made my day. Scotty knows
these are not the oint oint pigs.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
They don't care, wow and nasty. But that guy did
care because that guy knew.

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
Scotty did know. He's still wild and nasty. I thought
Scotty doesn't know, but Scotty knows. Scotty knows.

Speaker 5 (01:18:59):
Damn it, Scotty doesn't no that be on me, do
it in my van every Sunday she tells them she's in.

Speaker 4 (01:19:07):
Doesn't kill Spilgy's on me, He's in.

Speaker 3 (01:19:10):
Scotty down.

Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
I think we should put this into rotation, go for it.
And I just dropped this in the logs somewhere. Yeah,
Laura's gonna be on one day and she'll be like,
well that was Lustra. Yeah, Scotty doesn't know Jeez anyway.
All right, So Josh in a show, congratulations to Scott.
Stay on hold there, pal, and we got more rock
and roll coming up? Did Josh in his show six

(01:19:33):
point seven w LLZ Detroit's Wheels Well, six point seven
Detroit's Wheels Josh Innis Show. It's Josh and James today.
Welcome in. So have you uh have you come to
my side on things that you think this airplane guy,
the guy that got hit by the plane, do you
think he actually like did that on purpose?

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Yeah, I think I think you're right with your your assumptions.
I think I think give his points to he probably
did it on purpose. There's just no way that you
accident only get hit by a train. A train or
a even a train could be sort of accident. As
we said, you can fall asleep in your car, or
you can get stalled again. I find it hard to
believe now.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
You obviously, I guess it's possible to get hit by
a train and not want too, Like you might be
trying to go around the arm or something, and then
you try to beat the train because you're a moron,
and you get taken out by the train. But there's
no way you should ever be in a situation where
you were accidentally taken out by a plane on a runway.
That should never happen unless you do it on purpose.
There's no way you couldn't have avoided the plane.

Speaker 1 (01:20:31):
If as a person was out in the mountains of
Denver smoking, PODi totally off his ass and snuck into
the airport thinking it's some sort of shopping mall and.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
You'd have to be on some really hardcore stuff for
that to happen. So the guy did it on purpose
or gal? We know, I'm assuming, So I said, I
don't believe women are gonna die, and that's stupid of
a manner, like I don't believe a woman's gonna be
like I'm gonna end it all today, and I'm gonna
do so by jumping in front of an airplane. It
was a bull choice to make, it is, although one

(01:21:03):
of the most famous suicide pictures ever is the lady
that jumped off of the Empire State Building and landed
on the hood of the car. If you ever seen
that picture, look that up. It's amazing. It's not gross
or anything. It's really fascinating. And I forgot her name.
She jumped off the Empire State Building landed on a car,
and the way she landed was like this glamorous good
like it's wild. Now from everything I've read is once

(01:21:26):
they try to, you know, pick her body up off
of the car, it was basically jello like it was liquid.
But she landed perfectly on this car with her arms
crossed and everything. It's pretty crazy, I'd say, Jumping off
a building from that height is also kind of a
really dumb way to go because then you have to
think about it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
Why, well, you're going down, so that part would suck.
But so it's almost as dumb, poor car. I know,
someone's like, God, I didn't have insurance and does insurance
cover person jumped off the Empire State Building.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
And landed on my car.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
I don't have that kind of coverage.

Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Probably not, But tell me that's not a fascinating photo.

Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
That's interesting. It is because I didn't think you. I
thought from what I read like, you would not be
able to fall completely to the ground. The winds would
push you, like back onto one of the other ledges,
or push you back onto something else within the building.

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
Really well, the thing is, I think a lot of
people have, at least a good number of people have
jumped off the Empire State Building, although you can't really
do that anymore. That's why they put these giant fences
up around the top. Oh yeah, so it's tougher to
do it now, But back in the day you can
just walk up there and there's no fences around. So
I mean, if you wanted to jump, you'd jump. Look
this up really quick. How many people have jumped off

(01:22:39):
of the Empire State Building. This important information that our
audience needs to know. How many people have jumped off
of the Empire State Building.

Speaker 1 (01:22:49):
To their death. Of course, I don't think you're going
to survive it. I don't think no, I don't think
it's impossible. If you did, you're like the Bruce Willis
in that movie with the train crashes and he finds
out he's like a superhero. That's yeah, the m Night
Shyamalan movie. Yeah, yeah, Unbreakable, Yes, and there you go Unbreakable.

(01:23:09):
Since it's opening in nineteen thirty one, more than thirty
people have jumped from the Empire State Building. While many
reports cite a general figure of more than thirty, some
circle records indicate approximately thirty six people, approximately thirty six,
jumping from the top of the Empire State Building. So
that'd be another crappy way to go, because you're thinking
about it as you're going down. At least two people
have a jumped from the eighty six floor observation deck

(01:23:30):
and survived.

Speaker 2 (01:23:31):
There's no way.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
Al Vita Adams that was blown back onto a ledge
on the eighty fifth floor by a strong gust of wind,
and a similar event occurred in twenty thirteen when a
man also landed on the eighty fifth floor. Ledge. That's
got to be what I was reading about.

Speaker 2 (01:23:43):
There's no way. Wow, boy, imagine you do that. How
do you view like at that point, are you like
happy or you really ticked off? You're like, damn you.

Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
I think you need to reevaluate because for some reason
you are ready to end it all and some miracle happened,
so you better find a purpose.

Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
Also gotta be kind of embarrassing, and you're like.

Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
Yeah, it's supposed to be this supposed to be easy.

Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
Like you start walking down the stairs. After that, people
are like, yeah, let's trying to kill herself, but she
got blown back in Like you're getting judged by everybody failure.
You suck, You're not good at that. But anyway, I
think we all agree the guy got hit by the
plane on purpose, all right. Dallas Cooper Alos six point
seven detroits wheels Josh in the show about to get

(01:24:25):
on out of here. Hopefully we see our mustachioed friend
hit some threes tonight. Mustache Yes, that's what we're hoping
for tonight, that he continues his hot mustachio shooting.

Speaker 1 (01:24:37):
Ever underestimated man with a mustache, I won't.

Speaker 2 (01:24:40):
So we'll see what happens tonight in Game four with
the Pistons. See if they go up three to one
or if we got a tie gas series. It's important
to note again that we haven't hit a point where
the Cavaliers have shot. They haven't hit a large number
of threes in a game. Yet by their standards, they've
shot the ball well. I mean they shot the ball
fifty something percent in the game the other day, so

(01:25:00):
they shot the ball very well. But let's see if
they have a game where they hit seventeen eighteen threes.
And obviously the Pistons have had the one game they
shot really well from three.

Speaker 1 (01:25:11):
Hopefully mustach power will overpower. There.

Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
He's got fourteen three pointers in the series.

Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
Fourteen more.

Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
Well, there you go, fourteen tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
Let's go fourteen tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
The rob get on it, all right, So we're getting
out of here. And uh and Jilly is actually oh Jill,
Jilly is in today, So Jilly will be in today.
She has nothing to say about Ohio though, And we
will see you Manyana. It's a Josh Innis Show on
one or six point seven. W LZ be true.

Speaker 3 (01:25:41):
It's wheels
