Troy Plumtree: Wellington Saints player on his debut for the team and his rise through the junior basketball scene - All Sport Breakfast Wellington

After the Wellington Saints' season-opening win over the Auckland Tuatara last weekend, many eyes are now on 17-year-old forward Troy Plumtree who shone on debut in the game with nine points and five rebounds coming off the bench. 

Still a year 13 at Wellington College, Plumtree has emerged as a top basketball prospect, joining an exciting Saints roster for 2024. 

He joined Adam Cooper to talk about his rise up the junior basketball scene, and what opportunities may be on the horizon.
