Competition leaders the Wellington Firebirds will resume on 154/7 on day two of their penultimate-round Plunket Shield match against Northern Districts at the Basin Reserve. 

They lead by 35 runs after ND's innings of 119. 

Firebirds coach Shane Jurgensen joined Adam Cooper to look at the title race and the team's approach for day two.
