Phil Mauger: Will Sail GP return to Christchurch? - All Sport Breakfast Canterbury

Big news late last night that Chief Executive Sir Russell Coutts is pulling future SailGP events out from underneath Christchurch's feet.

This came as a massive surprise to many, especially to Ōtautahi Mayor Phil Mauger who spoke with Lesley Murdoch on Canterbury's All Sports Breakfas.

Phil gave his thoughts on whether SailGp will return to Christchurch after 2024, can it be salvaged?
