While you would have thought investors would have rejoiced in the government reopening this week after forty-three days, the markets are still a little jittery about what's ahead in the coming months. Due to the data desert over the last several weeks, it’s been hard to get a sense of where the job market is and if there is economic growth. All things that could impact the Federal Reserve’s move early next month. There have been some bright spots, however, as earnings season has exceeded expectations and consumer spending remains stable.
