De grote vraag bij FC Twente: wie begint er als linksbuiten tegen Excelsior. Is dat, net als tegen PSV en Go Ahead Eagles, Youri Regeer? Of wordt het Younes Taha of Michel Vlap, die terugkeert van een blessure? „In de kleine ruimtes tegen Excelsior heb je denk ik meer aan Michel Vlap", zegt Leon. Maar is Vlap fit genoeg om te starten? Daar was trainer Joseph Oosting wat schimmig over. „Maar Vlap heeft wel een bepaalde status..”
Heracles naar Vitesse
Bij Heracles Almelo zijn er weinig vragen. Ralph verwacht dat trainer John Lammers met dezelfde elf namen begint als tegen Sparta vorig weekend. En dat betekent met Sven Sonnenberg in de basis. Leon snapt dat niet. „Waarom gaat hij (Lammers, red.) niet voor Bultman? Je wilt als club toch ook nog waarde op het veld creëren?” Ralph is wel content met Sonnenberg, maar stelt Leon ook gerust. „Lammers is voorzichtig met Bultman. Hij wil hem rustig brengen.”
