Heracles Almelo hoopt zich tegen RKC definitief veilig te spelen, FC Twente kan zich op bezoek AZ verzekeren van de derde plek. Gaat dit ook gebeuren? In De Warming-up blikken Leon ten Voorde, Fardau Wagenaar en Frank Bussink vooruit op de aankomende speelronde.
Maar natuurlijk is er ook aandacht voor de FC Twente Vrouwen die in Sittard hun eigen kampioensfeest (opnieuw) uitstelden en er zijn wisselingen in de trainerstaf bij FC Twente. Sander Boschker vertrekt, terwijl Joseph Oosting blijft en zijn contract gaat verlengen. „Hij is ook niet het type dat na één seizoen vertrekt", vertelt Leon over de hoofdtrainer van FC Twente.
Fardau heeft nog wel wat flashbacks naar twee jaar terug als het om Heracles gaat. Ook toen waande ploeg zich veilig, maar ging het alsnog mis. „Maar thuis tegen RKC komt wel goed", denkt ze. Dat denken Leon en Frank ook. Zeker omdat de Heraclieden aan een puntje genoeg hebben. En wat vinden ze van de kritiek op Sem Scheperman, eerder deze week? „Het is heel veel middelmaat bij Heracles", zegt Leon. „Dat is niet alleen Scheperman.”
