Heracles Almelo roerde zich deze week nog op de transfermarkt en de technisch directeur van FC Twente maakte er geen geheim van dat hij Wout Weghorst graag naar Enschede ziet komen. Toch gaat het op dit moment bij beide clubs vooral over het komende eredivisieweekend. Heracles ontvangt hekkensluiter Vitesse, FC Twente gaat op bezoek bij Excelsior in Rotterdam.
Clubwatchers Ralph Blijlevens en Leon ten Voorde blikken met host Frank Bussink vooruit op de duels van beide clubs. Bij FC Twente kloppen verschillende spelers nadrukkelijk op de deur voor een basisplek. Maar voor wie zouden ze dan in het veld moeten komen? En is Excelsior-uit wel het juiste moment om die wisselingen in de basiself door te voeren?
Bij Heracles werd deze week Kelvin Leerdam aan de selectie toegevoegd. Hij brengt de nodige ervaring met zich mee. Is hij een beoogd basisklant of vooral gehaald voor de breedte?
