FC Twente gaat op bezoek bij Vitesse en Heracles Almelo ontvangt Almere City. Het Eredivisieweekend staat op het punt van beginnen. In een nieuwe aflevering van de podcast De Warming-up kijken clubwatchers Leon ten Voorde en Ralph Blijlevens met host Frank Bussink alvast naar de duels van FC Twente en Heracles.
Maar het gaat niet alleen over de wedstrijden in de eredivisie. De heren bespreken ook de uitschakeling van het Nederlands vrouwenelftal. Een uitschakeling die voor andere Nederlandse sporters niet eens zo heel verkeerd is, denkt Leon. „De Oranjeleeuwinnen worden zo gehypet. Als die naar de Spelen zouden gaan, komt de NOS daar weer met zes analisten. Terwijl het juist over de Femke Bols van deze wereld zou moeten gaan.”
Terug naar het voetbal van FC Twente. Daar kan je de opstelling alvast optekenen, zegt Leon. Bij Heracles is dat wat minder het geval. Daar zit ook het verschil tussen bijvoorbeeld FC Twente en Heracles. „Bij FC Twente weet je wat je krijgt, bij Heracles is het altijd afwachten", zegt Leon. Ralph verwacht dat het tegen Almere City in ieder geval weer een 4-3-3 wordt. Vleugelspitsen Emil Hansson en Bryan Limbombe zijn namelijk weer fit.
