De Amerikaanse zakenbank Morgan Stanley heeft van het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) een boete van €101 mln gekregen wegens het ontduiken van Nederlandse dividendbelasting, ook wel ‘dividendstrippen’ genoemd. Dat heeft het OM donderdag bekendgemaakt. De boete komt bovenop de naheffing van ongeveer €200 mln die de bank eind 2024 al heeft terugbetaald aan de Belastingdienst.
