Biography
As a seasoned mental health professional, Dr Mantell specializes in Rational Emotive Behavior Coaching & Cognitive Behavioral Coaching to help individuals break free from self-defeating patterns and build resilient, thriving, autonomous mindsets.
With decades of professional experience following his MS degree from Hahnemann Medical College and his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania —including roles as Chief Psychologist for the San Diego Police Department & Children’s Hospital of San Diego, Senior Consultant for Behavioral Sciences with the American Council on Exercise, an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSD Medical School, and decades long membership in SAG-AFTRA—he’s dedicated his career to bridging the gap between theory and real-world mental wellbeing. His main focus is helping people disturb themselves less.
Dr. Mantell is a prolific author with four books to his name, including his recent work, "The Link is What You Think," "Ticking Bombs: Defusing Violence in the Workplace," and his iconic 1988 original "Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff PS: It’s All Small Stuff" and its 25th Anniversary Edition.
