It was 2011, and Life University's student council president said
that he wanted lasting purpose to be manifested in every
conversation and interaction on campus. Well, who could say no
to that? And so began life use, speak tradition. We
decided that part of lasting purpose is acknowledging and honoring

the dignity of every single fellow human being we come
across on a daily basis in life. Use. Speak. Tradition.
We're all expected to make eye contact and address each
other as we make our way around the campus. As
you can imagine, this makes a walk around campus not
just a means of getting from A to B, but

(00:44):
a way of recognizing the respect we have for each
other as human beings and a way of manifesting our
commitment to give, do love, and serve out of our
own abundance without expecting anything in return. This is just
one of the many ways Life University is transforming both
health care and the very nature of human relationships.
