I'm Doctor Brian McAulay, president of Life University. And welcome
to the very first McCauley minute. This new weekly series
is designed to keep you life students, faculty, staff, alumni
and friends connected to what's happening across the university. We've

heard your feedback, and in response, we are offering a
more direct line of communication with timely updates that matter
to all of us.
To start, I'm excited to announce that doctor Lee Skinkle
has been named Vice President for Academic Affairs, and I
want to thank the interdisciplinary search committee that shepherded the
robust selection process that brings Doctor Schenkel to us. He

joins the life community with significant experience in higher education
and a strong record in academic leadership, program growth, and
institutional culture building. His leadership will strengthen our academic foundation
and support a thriving collaborative environment for faculty and students alike.

(01:11):
Please look for a chance to say hello and to
welcome him to our unique community when he joins us
here in June. As we look ahead, this appointment aligns
with some of our most important priorities, including enrollment growth,
program innovation, and reinforcing life use. Leadership in Vitalistic healthcare education.
