Many ag leaders are standing their ground with cattle producers after President Trump announced last week he is bringing in more beef imports from Argentina. Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon voiced his concerns in an interview with us saying, "Increasing our reliance on cattle imports is not the best answer for our ranchers, farmers, or U.S. consumers.” The announcement did not sit well with cattle markets either with prices falling over $30 cwt in less than a week.
