Laurels for spraying groundbreaking?
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Oh my god, you have to do it. You live
for fashion.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Hello, and welcome to Nothing to Wear, the podcast that
solves fashion problems and levels up your wardrobe.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
I'm listening to Pickett and.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
I'm Chelsea Hi. And each week we talk about all
things fashion to see how you can get the most
out of the clothes that you already own and see
what is and isn't worth investing in.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
That's right, And today we're talking all things sales. November sales,
everything from Black Friday to click Frenzy.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Everyone at mum and mea head.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Offers is obsessed with sales, which we've actually had Amy Clark,
who's the lifestyle editor. She wrote a really great article
that's on our site now that's all about like just
a down low and a strategy around shopping for sales.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Yeah, there's so many good tips in there, really good
shop like Friday. Tam Holland as well, who we love
here a friend of the pod. She's done a great
piece on her fave twenty pieces under one hundred and
fifty dollars, So that's definitely one to draw inspiration from
if you're looking to get some fashion pieces during Life Friday.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
So we're hoping today we can give you a little
bit of strategy around how to shop, but also some
of our favorite sales and items that are on sale
right now.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Exactly so obviously officially sale season, very exciting, huge month. Yeap.
Is this a time of year that you look forward to?
Liscinder tell me he is.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
It's become a time I look forward to.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I think now, just as I'm getting older and I
guess perhaps more financially literate, and that's more out of necessity,
so the cost of living, children and whatnot, I rely
on this time of year and I sort of force
myself to shop. The irony is I'm actually sort of
I've got shopping fatigue by this point of the year.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
It's December. The last thing I feel like doing is shopping.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
But I think about the year ahead and just practically
what I need and knowing that it's just the best
time to buy right now.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
What about you, Chelsea, are you a sales shopper.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I'm sort of I am a shoer, but I'm sort
of on the other side of the spectrum, when it
comes to Black Friday, I find it quite overwhelming. It's
there's a lot of sales going on, so many brands
doing like the bigger sales of the year. There's so
much marketing going on, so I do feel like I
find it overwhelming. And because I'm quite an impulsive person
in general, when I was younger, I often shopped these
(02:29):
sales based on the vibe or what felt right in
the moment, and I just feel like that's not the
right way to do Black Friday. So for the last
few years, I've been trying to really stick to what
I need, things that I've been wanting for the whole year,
curating some sort of a list, and changing up my
motto to not so much what I want in the moment,
but what I've been thinking about what I need for
(02:50):
the coming year, and really trying to make the most
of the sales.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
That way so true, and that's one thing I love
about the sales shels. Like what you said, so many
brands are onto it now and I sort of love
this sort of consumer psychology behind it, and consumers we
have this deal pronus they call it, which is actually
a consumer psychological term deal pronus. We're all obsessed with
sales and almost rely on sales now to shop. Do
(03:14):
you find a lot of your friends like that you
alwayst just wait until these sales are on?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, one hundred percent. And I do think because Black
Friday is one where you're bombarded with so many and
a lot of people are like you were saying, waiting
until this time of the year to shop, you also
end up if you're not careful, buying more than you
need or more than you were even anticipate wanting totally
on in the year. And so I do think it's
something you need to be a little bit careful about.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, so true.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Are there any items that you've bought in previous Black
Fridays that you feel like are the best deals that
you've gotten, or you've really gotten the bank for your bob, you.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Know the things that come to mind. I've got these
two both Dion Lee Rest in Peace. I love that brand,
not Danely himself with the brand. It's is one of
my favorite brands. And I got two sets different Black
Friday sales different years from Dave Jones. I love David
Jones in general for sales at this time of year.
(04:11):
But they were Deon Lee's sets, so midi skirt and
a top. One I've worn to that many black tie weddings.
The other one I wear a lot to work events
and cocktail parties. But they were just such good fines.
There was seven fifty down to about three fifties. And
I find something where it's a matching set where you're
really only going to it's like an occasional piece, right,
(04:32):
You're not going to get that much wear out of it.
I would find difficult spending the seven fifty on, but yeah,
for three fifty, it felt like an absolute bargain and
I've definitely got like cost per wear out of those.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yeah, do you ever split up the set and wear
it comes?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
I think that was the intention when I brought it,
but no, I haven't actually Yeah, okay, yeah, have you
got any pieces that come to mind that you purchased.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I mean, we've talked about this. I love denim in general,
so you're going to say down. So I got these
Levi's baggy Dad jeans a few years ago in this
kind of like medium to lightwash color. I literally wear
them every single week. I'd got from the iconic and
it was forty percent off, so I think they were
originally one six year got the met about ninety dollars
(05:13):
because I've worn them so much and jeans are just
such a staple. Yeah, I really feel like I've made
my money back on that.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Like, oh, mat so out of the thirty pieces of
denim that you only wear these ones on that.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yes, all the time it was on this pairs it's
the Levi's. So that was like one of.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
The best deals I've had it If anyone missed it.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Chelse and I did an episode on All Things Denhim
a fear back and yeah, Chelse is a real lover
of denim.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Fiened for Denhim.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
I love it. Do you mind?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Chell's just explaining to us what are the November sales like,
what makes them such a big sale season.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Originally the month of November four retailers really marked the
beginning of holiday shopping. They really saw the Friday after
Thanksgiving to be the traditional start of Christmas shopping season,
and people kind of were often off work and had
gifts on their mind, so that was kind of the
start of it. Now, as we know, the month is sort.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Of packed with deals.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
We obviously have Black Friday, which the last Friday after
US Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday is the following Monday. For twenty
twenty five In Australia. This year, the dates will be
November twenty eighth for Black Friday, Cyber Monday will be
December first. But what we have sort of seen is
brands really extend that Black Friday pod. I'm sure you've
noticed it as well, like sales starting early November spanning
(06:24):
all the way through mid December.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Click Frenzy is another kind of sale that used to
happen a lot more brands still do it. It's a
twice yearly Australian sale which is either in May and
early November, so some brands do do both. They might
do a click Frenzy sale followed by a Black Friday
one to kind of shorter sale periods, or a lot
of brands now kind of just skip click Frenzy altogether
(06:47):
and extend their Black Friday sale all the way through.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Like the two months, which they're just different names, right,
but it's the same sort of discount, right.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, like ten to like forty percent off, really the
same sale, but yeah, kind of two separate periods for that.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
So essentially you could be getting a discount anytime throughout
November exactly. Yeah, Yeah, which is as I think for consumers, Yeah,
especially leading into Christmas, and what should we be looking
out for. Are there some like general sales or shopping
strategies that we should have.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
I do think something I'm trying to put into practice
more these days, and for the last couple of years
I've been doing across November and all the Black Friday
sales is try to not buy anything you didn't already
have on your wish list. It's so tempting to shop
as you go with all the marketing. I mean, you
can go on Instagram and all the Black Friday sales,
it's hard not to click and see a piece that
(07:38):
really sparks joy in the moment, but then you end
up spending so much money through the month of November.
So I think keeping a list throughout the year and
adding to that and revisiting that as you get closer
to November and being like do I still need this?
I would also recommend, which I've been doing now, having
a bit of an inventory check before you shop the sales.
(07:59):
So I'll go through my wardrobe look at things that
I wear still, things that I haven't worn for a
long time, things I might need to replace, foundation, more
basics that I need more of, and really kind of
look through the list and be like, okay, can I
take anything off this? Are there things that I haven't
worn in my wardrobe that I can pull out again?
So I don't really need to spend that money. I
think that actually really helps condense the list and go
(08:21):
into Black Friday shopping with a clear mind.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
That's cool, And do you have a budget or just
like no, you still just go with the flow.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
I do do this now where rather than having I
might have specific items, but sometimes if I don't know
specifically what that is, I might just say I allow
myself two pairs of genes. Yeah cool, Black Friday, so
just a generic category, and then I allow myself some
freedom to look across the brands while Black Friday is happening,
because it is.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
A little bit of fun, isn't it like we should
be encouraging some spontaneous or impulse shopping that you know,
it is like a bit of like.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Controlled impulse shopping. I think, yeah, what about you, what
are things that you kind of do.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I definitely agree with you keeping notes in my phone
with all the things that I want to buy, but
also not just for me, if there's like presence, I just.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Think for the year ahead. I got any weddings coming up?
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Have I got any big you know, engagement partings, things
that I'll need to buy presents for, So not just me.
It's so tempting just to think about what I need,
but I just think what will I need to be
buying the year ahead, and also not forgetting about that
boring stuff like you said, or all the different parts
of your life. So it's the fundamental basics. Underwear, is
it more gym clothes? Is it workware? Is it just
(09:30):
is it pajamas? Just trying to think is it sports shoes?
Just things that I'll need and I know I'll end
up buying in twenty twenty six and try and make
myself buy in the sales whilst it's heavily discounted, because
there's nothing worse than you know, you need a pair
of say, Nike shoes, and just not thinking ahead and
not buying it with you know, thirty or forty percent off.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Yeah, So doing a bit of like forward thinking, the
forward thinking for.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
The year ahead and not just myself as well.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
So Chelse, we could bring six sales items or sales
that are going on throughout November that we think are
the best value of what we've been wanting to purchase.
So we've both come to the table with six.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Fun.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
This has been fun. It's almost like it's our job
to shop.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah, I can't help it, but last night I was
buying a few things here before I recommend that.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
So did you want to kick us off with what's
your first sales pick?
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Okay, So shoes are huge for me during Black Friday.
I think, not that they're always inexpensive, but to me
it feels like a slightly bigger ticket item when it
comes to clothing. Yeah, I agree, So every Black Friday
I'll have one or two or three pairs of shoes
kind of on the list ready to go. So Hype
DC has up to forty percent off footwear, which I
(10:53):
think is a great deal. Shoes crazy. So for me,
the Adidas Original Samba Og Women's in the leopard print,
so they're originally one nine nine and down to one
hundred and forty nine with the discount. I do have
coup and shoes that I wore last year when we
were on the pod together. I love them. I wear
them to death. I'm always living in sneakers, So I
(11:13):
think Black Credit is just a great time to like reinvest. Yeah,
for sure, I had a slightly different trend. I love
animal print, so I feel like it's a nice time
to kind of pivot and try something new.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I love that with shoes, and also like it allows
you to maybe experiment with a different print or have
a little bit more fun.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
I think with the discount as well, I feel like
maybe if I was paying two hundred dollars and I
wasn't quite sure about a certain print, but you know,
for one hundred and forty nine dollars, I'm like, I'm
happy to test it out, try some purt and see
if I like it.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
You know, And Chells, do you actually?
Speaker 2 (11:42):
I forgot to ask you. Do you shop in store
as well or just online?
Speaker 3 (11:46):
I'm an online shopper when it comes to Black Friday,
I'm curious what.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Do you do? I do Boxing Day in store, but
mere most of mine.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Is I think I'm the same. I think it's also
like maybe a cultural thing. I think with Boxing Day
there is a kind of like a culture around going
in person the day after Christmas more of a communal
activity fun.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, to activities, yeah, exactly, everyone's on holiday. But yeah,
all of this I usually do online.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yep, So that's cool.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
What's what's your first one?
Speaker 1 (12:12):
My first one's.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Pretty boring, but it is what I do every sales,
and it's going to Bonds and just it's forty percent
of store wide and it allows me to get my
basics socks, underwear, you know, all my lingerie, but my partners,
my children's all those basics in the neutral colors. But
there's also all the other things on Bonds that you
sort of forget about. Like they've got their Christmas pajamas,
(12:35):
so it's sort of a cute little i don't know,
stocking filler if you wanted to get some cute Christmas pj's,
Christmas pajamas one sale. Yeah, they've got the Christmas pj's,
but just all their other pajamas in general, the baby
wondersuits any mum's listening, but just you know, kids go
through those like nuts, so little things like that where
it's just fundamentals, Like you said, Chelsea, you want to
stock up on another thing I like about bonds. They've
(12:56):
got their license merch that I also sometimes forget about.
So they've got the Wicked toy story cars, all these
different things. So again, a really good stocking filler for
children any sort of nise or their fet you.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
But yeah, it's just stocking up for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
And yeah, I love that. I think underwear is a
great one. Literally off the back of that. One of
mine is caven Cline. They off slight wide and I
just love the carven Cline underwear. The only time of
year I ever buy it's.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Going to show your fancy.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
But the only time I'll ever is when it's heavily discounted.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Funny, so you're now aware as a consumer that's when
it's on sale, and you will only buy it when
it's Yes.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Yes, now I've never bought a pair of carbon Cline
underwear full price, just I know every single year they're
going to be discount so that's when I say save
it up and I'm like, yep, that's when I'm going
to do it.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Love it.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
I love the they do like a five pack of
like a bikini brief. They also have great invisible hipster
briefs which are like kind of the ones with like
the seamless kind, which are great for occasion where you're
wearing like a tight dress. So highly highly recommend.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
That's a good one. I might upgrade and do Calvin
down so good. Okay.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
My second is Witchery, So I think we all remember
this year Witchery. They had their rebrand and they sort
of became more of minimal elevated basics and not just
so elevated basics.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
That occasion where they've got up.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
To fifty percent off its crazy, and isn't that crazy?
Half fries And again, I'm just thinking for the year ahead,
twenty twenty six, work wear, casual dressing, and just filling
those gaps in my wardrobe.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
So a couple of examples.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
They've got these basic black body suits which were one
hundred and twenty nine dollars down to sixty nine dollars,
so I was going to get like two or three
of those, and just because I wear so much of them,
and they've also got them in a cream color as well.
But things like that, just stocking up on the things
I need. They've also got the Bermuda denim shorts or jawts,
and we spoke about these Jawts in Denham one hundred
(14:58):
and thirty nine down to seventy nine. So I think
that's going to be my entry into trying out the
Bermuda jaws.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
I love this.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Getting it on sales teventy nine.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Dollars so good.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Actually sink fifty percent off Yeah for witchery, which you
know sometimes that price point is a little bit hard
like dish witchery. It's expensive basics, yes, so getting it
discounted is just yeah, applazing.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
I love that you're getting into jaws.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
I gotta wear them on the pod.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
I love it all right, what's your next one?
Speaker 3 (15:28):
So Meshki between thirty to sixty percent off, So for me,
I know, we talked a little bit about occasion where
I tend to buy formal and occasion wear from sort
of lower to mid range brands, and my thinking behind
that is because I wear it. I so seldom like
actually go to any occasions where I need to wear
(15:49):
formal wear. Yeah, so I don't mind going a little
bit lower end because I won't really wear it.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
That's a strategy, yeah, like that.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
So with Meshki, Come Black Crider, I will be buying
more like formal dresses, things that I can wear to weddings.
I have several weddings next year, so just like forward
thinking about that.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
And up to sixty that's wild so good.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
So the one I'm really looking at is the Ariel
off shoulder Ruffel Midi dress in black stunning. Can wear
it for several occasions, and that's from down from one
hundred and twenty nine to seventy five.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Dollars seven five for an occasion dress. That is so good.
I love sales, you too, gets me so excited.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Okay, Another really good one I found is well Stacks
and pe Nation. They have up to forty to sixty
percent off. They're just two of my favorite active wear brands.
But a lot of the active wear brands now have
these big, heavily discounted sales. So just generally stocking up
again for the year ahead, getting some new shorts, leggings, whatnot.
Although leggings are now sort of a bit of a
(16:47):
faux pa, aren't they Millennials?
Speaker 1 (16:48):
It's a bit millennial coated, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I love them. I think I'm sort of on the edge,
so I love leg.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
So again, it's a little bit boring, but it's just
being practical and smart. If you're going to be wearing
active wear in the new year, get some fresh stuff
stock up now.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
Love that?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Alright, what have you got next job? Okay?
Speaker 3 (17:06):
So Reformation they do twenty percent off slight wide every year,
I believe. Okay, So this is another thing that I've
never bought anything from Reformation full price, okay, just because
I love the brand. They're a sustainable brand as well.
I love shopping Reformation, but it is very expensive and it's.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Fact that it's twenty five percent off still wide. Yeah,
that's just easy to love that.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
I love it so much. So that is the only
time that I will be buying Reformation this year. I'm
looking at They have a Klara cashmir crew cardigan in
red three hundred and forty five down to two hundred
and fifty eight, and I just love like stocking up
for cardigans. I feel like every time of year for
me that kind of works. I know, kind of autumn
that's usually when cardigans come out, but even during the summer,
(17:51):
if it gets kind of chilly, I always like to
bring a cardigan along to kind of throw on tops.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
And getting a red as well. Again, it you can
kind of experiment with different comes exactly. Let out of
the neutrals. Cool love that one. Okay, my next one.
I mentioned David Jones earlier, but it is their biggest
sale of the year with up to four forty percent
off designers, which I just love.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
So Like I mentioned the Dion Lee before, it's just those.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Brands that you know, maybe I sort of look at,
but I never really buy throughout the year because it's
just a little bit too expensive a dress. When I
was having a little look last night, it was a
beckham Bridge. It's this it's called the Kingsley Sequin Mini.
But it was just perfect for any sort of Christmas
party coming up.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Good.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
So this one was three point fifty down to two
o nine.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
So it's still a little bit expensive, but if you're
looking for just a new little black.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Dress for a Christmas party, it's perfect.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
And I've got my eye on this one thinking I
might be worrying it to my Christmas party. Oh.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
I love that becon Bridge is so nice.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
They're fun occasion dresses, aren't they beautiful? Yeah? All right,
what have you got?
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Okay? Ned Aporter? Yes, love that's such a great sale.
I think things were like David Jones Nedaporter. I think
what I love about that is because there's just so
many brands you can shop. There's really no restriction totally. Yeah,
so a fifty percent office just I love.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
We've both got we've.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
Got to talk about it. It's so good.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
After fifteenth I'm like, it's those brands, Like, there's so
many elevated brands on Netaporte.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Yeah, that is what it is.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
It metaforte every time I came on to Forte. But yeah,
so many of those high end brands.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
And how do you shop do you put price so
like load to high or do you shop by designer?
Speaker 1 (19:31):
How are you shopping on Ediporte load to high? Yeah,
me too.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
But for Black Friday, I think I tend to have
items that I've been looking at for a little while.
Sometimes they're on the list and I'm kind of going
straight to whatever item I've been thinking about.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
So you're going from your notes, Yeah, that's yeah, that
was a smart move.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
It is fun looking on Ediporte.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
That's one of the I think out of some retail sites,
that's might be one of my favorites to kind of
scroll through. Yeah, look, just because You're right, there are
so many elevated, beautiful, unique brands. Yeah, a little bit
out of my price range.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Yeah, for fun. I just like going high to low
and just to see what it could be like.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
So I've got two items that I and really eyeing
that I'm contemplating. Okay, this Black Friday, so Acne Studios.
They have a cotton blood wide leg pant. It's originally
eight ninety down to six twenty three, which is still pricey,
but for me, a really good pair of pants, I
sort of am willing to pay a little bit more
because that's really what I live in, sort of every
(20:27):
day nice I love the kind of fit of those.
And then also another pair of pants, mez of Mangella
paneled high rise wide leg pant. They're originally one three
hundred and fifty down to six hundred and seventy five,
which is a pretty massive.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
That's huge an So which would you think of getting both?
Are you deciding between the two?
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I think I'm going to toss up. I reckon I'm
leaning towards the mes of Mangella. I just love the
paneling on it. No, the stitching is really really beautiful.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
So beautiful.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
I love that on my wish listitting at a porte
is this stored Raffia bag. So it's this really cool
sculptural shape in like it's called the moon bag, so
like the namestake, it looks like a moon shape. I
guess in this raffia material in a zebra motif, so
I guess you know, like we are loving these animal
prints at the moment.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I reachell. This one was six hundred and twelve dollars
down to three six eight. So it's one of those.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Things if you want a nice designer bag, like stored
for a summer occasion, I suppose being raffia.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
It's three hundred and sixty dollars.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Oh that's really good, even just a really special Christmas
present for someone. So whether it be for me or
buying it for my sister and I can borrow it.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
That's such a nice gift, my gosh.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
But yeah, that's what I've got my eye on.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
Yeah. My last one is more of an affordable option.
Factory does a thirty percent off sight wide sale, okay,
and I have been eyeing up the megabaggy jaort from them,
which is originally sixty four dollars down to forty five.
So I had forty five dollars for a pair of
nice jorts.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Side note, I love it. All of yours are pants.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Basically as I'm saying, I'm like, wow, I need to
really broaden my horizon bit. What can I say? I
lot of pants, I live in them.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yeah, but that's such a good price.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Forty five dollars is crazy.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, cool, and thirty percent of still wide easy to remember. Right,
It's like nothing worse than trying to figure.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Out or like you see on sale.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Yeah, and I've been sucked into that before, where I
think something's on sale but it's actually not.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Yeah, it's like a full price item.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Yeah, that sucks all right.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
My last one is SUBI and they've got forty percent
off all their denim basics, which yeah, is right off
your alley. There's two genes here that I've got. Brooklyn
Heritage is a pair that I already own. I've worn
on the pod a lot, I wear to death. They're
two hundred and twenty down to one thirty. Such a
great straight leg standard denim washed gene. Yeah, really great
(22:48):
day to day for one hundred and thirty dollars. There
is another pair on a cube that I've got my
eye on that I will be getting. It's the ripped
playback authentic with a k authentic.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
But they're two forty down to ninety five, so good.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
And what I like about Sub I love Leva, we
both love Levi and they've got those sort of traditional
cuts and looks. But I find like Sube pushed the
envelope a little bit with some of those styles. Yeah,
and these ones are a little bit different.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
So these are distressed a little bit, That's right, Yeah,
they are.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
They've got the distress cut in the knee. So if
we were speaking about.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
That on the pond, weren't we. That's going to be
one of the big trends for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
So this is me. Yeah, moving into that just stress territory.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Yeah, that's wrapping up all of the cells.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I love that. I hope that's given everyone some hot.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Tips on where to maybe look or some pieces that
we're going to be shocking and that you might be
interested as well. Should we move into boujieo budget, Yes,
let's do it.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
It's very expensive, how wondred.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
I can go first, I will do my bougie So
the Jill Sander embellished, draped will Cash mid blend sweater.
It's we are not in winter. I know we're not
moving into winter, but I do think upping ahead for sure.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Smart.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yeah, the next year it's on sale. It's originally three thousand,
eight hundred even saying it like eight hundred and twenty
eight dollars down to two thousand, two hundred ninety seven. Okay,
it's a pricey item, it's more of a wishless item,
but I just still love it. The construction of it,
the way it falls. I think it's.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Sort of nice.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Like I think we all sort of invest in bags
and accessories at this sort of price point as like
a really nice piece.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
To have, But why don't we ever do it with clothing?
Speaker 3 (24:38):
Yeah, and you you, I would argue that some of
these pieces you would wear so often. This is kind
of like a gray sweater that I feel like would
be so wearable.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
And then you'd have it forever. You're wearing this when
you're sixty.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
I'm sold. I'm going to get it.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
That's so beautiful. It's your piece, your bougie.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
My bougie is again mine's a it's a winter jacket,
but again not in winter. But we're thinking ahead strategically.
It's a Camilla and Mark coat, so it's in a
dark charcoal. It's seventy percent Australian wool, but it's not
one hundred percent wool, which I'm assuming your Jill Sander is. Yeah,
yours is a wool cashmere blend. Mine's seventy percent. But
(25:17):
my price point is it was six fifty down to
five seventy, so yeah, it is. It's an more of
I don't want to say affordable, because it's still one
of those expensive mid range jackets. But I do find
it difficult part in ways with money for a Camilla
and Mark trench, like you said, when I know it's
going to be going on sale at the end of
the year, so this would be my time.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
To buy it.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
It's a timeless long trench that I'd be wearing a
lot in that dark charcoal, which I love, and I
haven't got so nine to fifty down to five seventy.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
So good that discount right, amazing, amazing, and this one
is very I have to say, it's really nice. The
boxy shoulders.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Boxy shoulders, Yeah, so I think I will be getting
that one.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
That one's the Camilla and Mark's Sidler coat. Love it.
What's your budget?
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Okay? My budget is the Meshki Ryann strapless knit mini
dress in a cream color. So it's kind of a
casual dress, short, really easy to wear. I love the
throwing and go kind of dress like this one. It's
original one hundred and nine down to eighty seven, and
I think that's just a good price for a dress
that you can wear kind of all the time through
(26:18):
the summer.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
And that color as well. Yeah, so have you got
places that you'd wear that.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I am actually going on my honeymoon finally. I've been
married for a little while, like a year now, but
I will be going on my honeymoon in January, so
I need We're going to the Male Dives.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
That's so beautiful.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
I'm so excited. So I've been trying to curate a
wadrope of cream white tones yea for the Yeah, definitely
will be bringing up.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Oh, I can't wait to see you in that. Okay.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
My budget is from cotton On, so it's pajamas but
it's very you know Matilda Jurf, the Swedish influencer, and
she's got her brand Durf Avenue.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
She's got these iconic.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
Sort of fruit tropical fruit pajamas sets She's got it's
a pajama set, yeah, top and bottom, and there's a
similar pair. I'd say it's a bit of a tube
at cotton On, which was seventy down to.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Thirty four dollars.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Oh my god, so cute for Christmas Day. Just for
some cute pajamas in general, which I don't usually do.
I'm pretty lazy at nighttime, but I love a matching
sent you always feel pretty cute. O.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Christmas is the time if you're going to get matching
the damers.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Yeah, Christmas Morning in these cute Little Matilda Jerf inspired
pjs from cotton On for thirty four dollars.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
