Speaker 1 (00:00):
User entertaining steps.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's the page on the Freaky Smiley Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
All right, page right here, Afrita's good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Good morning Ricky. It's Tuesday, October twenty eighth. Heere's what's
going on in the news. Indiana's political map is getting
a do over. Governor Mike bron has called a special
session to redraw the state's congressional lines, saying it's about
protecting who's your's voice in Washington. This move comes after
a full court press from the White House, with VP

(00:31):
Vans making two trips to Indiana and President Trump personally
urging lawmart makers to act now. Broun says the goal
is fair representation, but critics, including even actor and former
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, disagree. Now, when you think about this,
outcheat each other rather than outperform each other.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
It's open than.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Democrats and Republicans and the ones that are getting left
behind other people.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Similar redistricting pushes are already underway in tech Missouri and California.
But this isn't just about maps. Yeah, it's about momentum.
These redistricting efforts could help lock in GOP control of
Congress and strengthen Trump's hand politically, which might explain why
one of his closest allies, Deeve Bannon, recently said.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
This, there's many different alternatives. At the appropriate time will
lay out what the plan is.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
But there's a plan, and President Trump will be the president.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
In twenty eight.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Critics thought Bannon was just trolling, as he often does,
but then yesterday, when a reporter asked Trump about it,
he didn't exactly deny the idea.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I would, I would, I would love to do it,
and I have my best numbers effort. It's very terrible.
I have my best numbers. See you read it. Am
I not ruling it out? And you'll have to tell me.
All I can tell you is that we have a
great group of people which they dug. They have jazz
been drocketed, a low IQ person.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
They have.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
AOC's low IQ.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
After taking shots at Crockett and AOC, he went on
to say he wouldn't settle for the number two spot
because quote, it's too cute. His word's not mine. To
be clear, the Constitution's twenty second Amendment makes a third
presidential term completely illegal, but with this kind of political maneuvering,
it's clear Trump's team is playing the very long game.

(02:22):
In other news, the whole world has been talking about
this museum heist that was straight out of a movie,
but the ending definitely was not. French police have arrested
two men linked to that one hundred million dollars jewel
robbery at the Louver in Paris. One of the guys
was caught while literally trying to leave the country, and no,
he did not have the jewels in his carry on.
But still, officers tied the thieves to the robbery using DNA,

(02:44):
fingerprints and other forensic evidence left behind. Unfortunately, the gems
themselves are still mia brimple on these stories and more,
go to Rick Smiley Morning Show dot com. Now here's
a look at sports.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Rock te The sports genius is in the building.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, what's going on with that?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
As a gentleman, hey, Game three of the World Series
last night was bananas. I don't know if you guys
watching this man, LA Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays
six to five and eighteen innings. If y'all know nothing
about baseball, a baseball game is nine innings, so it
was extra innings man. Shout out to Freddie Freeman. His
walk off game winning home run last night, so y'all

(03:23):
tune into the World Series to check it out. Monday
night football was also going down at the same time.
Kansas City Chiefs beat the Commanders twenty eight to seven.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Tight end.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Travis Kelsey made a little history. He called his eighty
third career touchdown that ties him with Priest Holmes for
the most total touchdowns in Kansas City Chiefs franchise history.
Excuse me, guys, a former NBA great Gilbert Aarenas is
setting the recond straight. He says, listen, man, he did
not snitch on Chauncey Phillips and Terry Roseier before they

(03:53):
both got arrested. They were busted by the FBI as
part of a gambling investigation last week. And let's remember, though,
Gilbert Arenas was arrested in July for allegedly running an
illegal underground gambling out ration. What yes, sir, Yeah, he snitched, yes, so,
and he's joking around. I mean, this thing's gonna get ugly, man.

(04:14):
There's gonna be some more people getting called out quietly.
But listen this. When they say the NBA players throw
games or.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
They they man, please don't say that.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
I don't want to believe he got rock. Did you
see the video that they put together of yes Broacher, Yeah, yeah, Man,
I don't want to believe mission shots and turning the
ball over and I don't want to believe this.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Man.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
But now that this stuff is getting a spotlight is
put on it, it's starting to look like that, like
come on, man, man, man, Hey, we'll get into it. Man,
we'll get into that. That's my quick sports report right there.
Our freedom is you gonna be put it down for
the Briggey tap with the hot Spot.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yes, I am Sinner's writer and director Ryan Coogler is
reacting to MGK revealing he turned down an audition because
he was not come with the role. I'll tell you why.
Coming up.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Slot, drop it like it's hard, Drop it like it's hard.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
So authored and this.

Speaker 4 (05:11):

sitting in for the bretton this morning.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
We got to run it on the Alfrida's Good Morning.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Good Morning Ricky. Filmmaker Ryan Kugler holds no grudges against
Machine Gun Kelly for passing on his hit Vampire Flick Sinners.
During a recent interview, Coogler addressed mgk's decision to skip
an audition after learning the role required him to say
the N word. Something MGK said is just not in
his vocabulary. Kogler responded with empathy, saying that's understandable.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I know he's got a black daughter, and while acting
is acting, you gotta be comfortable with whatever you take
on Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan's saying, it's teeth into
the box offices worldwide with a three hundred and sixty
seven million dollars haul, and it's going to make a
spooky return to select Imax Theater is October thirtieth through
November fifth for a special Halloween run. Did y'all see

(06:06):
the movie?

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Oh yeah, good movie.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Man.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
I knew exactly what part he would have played. Obviously
would have played the racist white guy, and so I
never have been an MGK fan, but now I'm like, oh, what,
that's cool?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Cool, cool, dude, I love this. Leonardo DiCaprio had that
same issue with Django Unchained.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
And he played at Oh boy, he played that role.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
He ended up doing really well, saying that word right.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
A one hundred times.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
So y'all get ready to head back to Oz. Coleman
Domingo just joined the Wicked sequel as the voice of
the cowardly Lion. I'm so excited about this. He dropped
the news on ig surrounded by a pride of lions,
but of course they were plushy kind, the plushy toy kind.
He waked at the camera and said, see you in Oz, y'all.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
