Speaker 1 (00:02):
It's twenty nine degrees in Jacksonville, Forida is ten in Dundee,
and our three listeners in New Zealand they're experiencing a
mild seventeen degrees.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
This is til Talk.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'm Jay Lawrence.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
He's Key.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Oh wait, let me do that again. I'm Jay Lawrence,
no relation, I forgot to do that. Key, he's Key
Ramsuran And this is the official podcast for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
In UK and Ireland. Ukkey, how are you you right?
Speaker 4 (00:28):
I'm excellent and I like it being expanded to now
Global Weather Reports.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
We need to make this bigger. I'm looking forward to
doing South Africa next time. And now look, we're joined
on this episode from Duval County by Jaguars defensive lineman
Travon Walker, first round pick by the Jaguars.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Of course.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
In twenty twenty two, we get the big.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Question from UK Jacks Van Francis, and look ahead to
this week's home game with the Vikings off the back
of another narrow defeat.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Again, Key, we don't need.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
To focus on that. Let's look forward. Let's look forward
to the Minnesota Vikings. And you know what, actually it's
quite interesting talking about the Vikings, I think this season
because who would have thought that this could be considered
one of the tougher games on the Jaguars schedule?
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Key, I mean going in at the start of the season,
certainly not. I looked at this this stretch and thought, yeah,
Packers could be tricky Eagles, tricky, Lions tricky. Yeah, wouldn't
have put the Vikings up there as one of those necessarily.
But six and two, dude, they're performing well. It'll be
nice to see Cam Robinson playing again as well.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, bit a couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
I think, as well as he went there and got
game ball. Are you kidding? Came what happened when you
were with us?
Speaker 5 (01:44):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
I think that what we need to focus on when
it comes to Minnesota Vikings has got to be this
star wide receiver. I mean, we could talk about Sam
Darnold and how this is like hopefully a fairy tale
story from his perspective, but their star wide receiver, justin Jefferson,
is gonna be difficult. I mean, not just the Jags,
any team to stop him.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, whoever gets that assignment has got a tough day
ahead of them, man, because that that guy can play.
Oh my goodness, he's good.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's been a tight games for
the Jaguars in the last few weeks as well.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Key yeah again.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Like I said last week, you know, if if this
was the first game of the season against the Eagles,
I'd be saying, look at all the positives. But it's
not the first game of the season. But there were
there were some positives to take from that, I suppose,
But at the end of the day, it didn't didn't
happen then, But you need to build on that for
the Vikings.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
So here's here's my positive that I'm taking from that
Eagles game. Jay, is that the the tush push or
the tush push I've heard it both ways may now
becoming a thing of the past because the Jags have
shown how to stop that, and thank goodness, we will
never have to hear that phrase again hopefully.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Can I say how amazing that is?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Though, really in a a team that the Jaguars have
had issues will really throughout the whole team at points
this season. But the one thing that has been consistent
over the last few years in the NFL has been
that tush push play. Jalen Hurts getting that touchdown with
ease every single time. And the twenty twenty four Janguars
(03:21):
they're the team that not just stopped it at once, Key,
they stopped it multiple times. They stopped Jalen Hurts multiple
times on fourth down.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, so on Jaguars dot Com it's broken down to
show how they did it. So my hope is that
moving forwards, we hear the phrase tush push lesser, less
and less and lesser and brotherly shove as well.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Oh oh no, And well, what about one player who
definitely had an impactful play in that last game and
we'll be looking to build on that in this next game,
Trayvon Walker.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Key, Ah, that was how special was that? And you
know it was like right on the line as to
whether it was a fumble or not, Ventrol Miller just
got enough of his body out of the weight to
make it a legit fumble. But Trayvon taking that back
into the house like, yeah, that was really really good.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, well, let's hear from him now, shall we. Keys
conversation with the former number one overall pick, Trayvon Walker.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Trayvon, thank you so much for joining us on Tall Talk.
First things first, let's not dwell on Sunday's result. But
can we talk about that amazing moment for you taking
the ball into the house.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
How was that?
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Man?
Speaker 6 (04:33):
Man, In the moment, it was one of those things
to where in the moment it wasn't as exciting as
it was once I got to the sideline and actually
felt the energy from my teammates as well. But just
in that moment, it was one of those plays that
were as a defensive player, you see the bar on
the ground and at that moment, my instinct goes to
pick the ball up, and in that moment, my mind
(04:54):
just wanted to go score. I heard somebody in the
back seat go down, go down. In my head, I'm like, nah,
I thought that I can't do it. I'm trying to
help my team win. Then I absolutely score and then
they ruled it a touchdown. So once I got to
the sideline, that's when I really felt the energy.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Nice man, it was a beautiful moment, dude. How does
it feel balancing the emotions of that amazing personal moment
for you with a team loss. Is that hard to balance?
Speaker 7 (05:21):
For sure?
Speaker 6 (05:22):
Most definitely for me it's hard to balance just for
the simple fact of actually, I want to help my team.
I want to do anything to help my team win
by any circumstances. But that's one of those moments, as
in first career touchdown, as being selfish just in a
split second. But then again also you don't get to
be able to have the full effect of it because
(05:43):
of the last as if if you were the one
you're the Parlament, I would have felt it a lot more.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
When we spoke to you in the summer, one of
the things you said to us was that, like one
of your personal goals is to get better and better
each day, and watching you on the field from the outside,
that's what it it feels like. Does it feel like
that to you as well, that that's what you're achieving.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
I do feel it that sometimes, but sometimes I do
feel like I can be a lot better in certain situations.
But yeah, like you said, for me personally, I do
want to get better one percent every day and I
can see that transition happening for me from my first
snap in NFL.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
To my latest snap again one win, one loss in
the UK. But you had some fantastic personal moments there.
What was it like for you playing those two back
to back games over here this season?
Speaker 7 (06:30):
Man?
Speaker 6 (06:30):
Like I always just coming to London and being able
to get a change of scenery from Jacksonville, things of
that nature, and being able to feel the culture out there.
As far as sports, obviously football, American football is still
growing over there. You know, that's just one of those
ones that in that moment you really don't take advantage
of the opportunity or the environment that you're playing in.
But that's one of those ones once you look back,
(06:52):
you'll be like, man, that was really a great environment
to be a part of.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Give me some of your A couple of personal highlights
from this year is trip I.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Say one of my main ones.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
Obviously, I won't to say the sack against the Patriots,
just because of the moment that it came in. I
felt like it was very big for the team in
any situation like that, Like I said, I'm just trying
to help my team come out with a win, and
that's one of the ones that sticks out to me
the most as of right now. And then for the
last three years that I've been on the part of
the Jaguar, it's just always been the the aora of
(07:26):
the crowd, of the fans showing love.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
It's always excited feeling running out on the field.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Out there.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Was one of the highlights. Not getting food from sushi.
Samba with sushi, some of.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
That definitely was a highlight as well, but you know
that's more so Josh Forte, I like, just Josh probably enjoyed.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
It a lot more than I did.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Nice. Nice, So last year I was at Wembley chatting
to your parents in the crowd, did you bring anyone
over with you this year?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
My mom and dad they're always with me.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
As long as they don't have anything else going on
with the grandkids or anything of that nature, then they
always right up by my side.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
So that was with me again as well.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Nice And how is it performing in front of your parents?
What's that like? Do you feel pressure when you're doing
that or does it feel like it gives you a boost?
Speaker 6 (08:19):
So crazy thing is when I was younger, I never
really had a choice. So when I was younger and
going to practice, I always kind of felt nervous because
my mom and Dad's always watching. But as I grew
up and grew older, got to like middle school, once
we start having closed practice. But even when they were
practice when I was younger, I just felt like I
had a chip on my shoulder to not go out
(08:40):
here and embarrass my parents, embarrass myself. I just always
wanted to be the best player I could be. Because
I knew my parents was right down the sideline watching them.
I didn't want them to have to hear any feedback
from any other parents talking trash or whatever.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
So that just kind of helped me, help mold me
into the player that I am today.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
I just go out there and that's that's who I
do it for my parents, my nieces, and my sisters.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
When you're over in the UK, for some reason, on
this podcast, even though it's an NFL podcast, we seem
to talk about food an awful lot. So when you're
over here in the UK, is there any food that
you miss from the States that you wish we had
over here?
Speaker 6 (09:19):
I mean, I wish there was American Deli everywhere in
the world. I'm not sure if you've heard of American
Dealy is kind of a Southern thing. It's in Georgia.
Nice the Wings, they're crazy, my big wings, guys. So
that's probably one of the restaurants that I would kind
of say I would want to see in London.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
How many wings can you get through in one setting.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
It just depends on It just depends on one of
my units.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
So after a game, I maybe could go for like twenty.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
I can do twenty easily, but like from really I
probably could do up to like thirty thirty.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Five thirty to thirty five rings. Let's go for wings
next time you're next time you're over man Vikings coming up.
How are you feeling about that? As a team? Is
Haw's preparation going and et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
Me personally, I'm feeling great. This is one of the ones.
Speaker 6 (10:13):
This is just where our back is against the wall
and we just have to rise to the occasion. As
a team, we know the obstacles that we face coming
into like as far as coming out of these last
couple of losses and what we want to get forward
to close to the end of the season, because the
season is going by pretty fast.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
It's already week ten. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
Like me personally, I just feel like that's as a team,
we all know the intent to what we want to
be at the end of the season, and I still
don't feel like it's out of our reach at all.
We just have to go out and dominate every week.
Take one game at a time.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
That's it, man, That's it one hundred percent. Are you
surprised by the Vikings form at all, because at the
beginning of the season, I don't think I would have
thought they'd be six and two and one of the
biggest threats in the NFA.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
I mean I would have said surprised that. I'll just
for the simple fact that it's the NFL. Any any
team can be great at any moment. Like you said,
it's nl other of the guys out here a professional athlete,
So I wouldn't call anyone sorry or not capable of
doing their job. It's just the fact of being consistent
and putting it out together as a team, and I
(11:18):
feel like that's what they've done pretty good for most
of the season.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Thank you so much for joining us man, I really
appreciate it and as always, will be rooting for you
on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Thank you, sir, Thank you all. I have a good one.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Javon Walker and Key Ramsar and great guy Kate, great
player obviously.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
Oh absolutely, and has the voice of a thousand silky
chocolate bars.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Do you know what, It's a dream of my life
for you to describe my voice that way, and maybe
that says a lot that you've never ever said.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
It was actually talking about your excellent radio voice.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
All right, all right, time for Duval dispatches. Now, the NFL.
We mentioned this actually last week, didn't we? Ca the
NFL who's launched this international fan of the Year company Tiian.
So if you think that you qualify, make sure you
get yourself onto ANFL dot com to register. What makes
you the best international Jags fan? What makes you the
(12:11):
best international Jags fan?
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Key, I'm mixed race, So I am from all over
the world. Okay, I am by default international, and I
am a Jags fan fantastic.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Head over to NFL dot com to have a look,
see and register. If you think that you qualify to
become the best international Jags fan.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
You must learn not to put me on the spot.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Okay, Key, we have a show on sky Sports NFL,
don't we the bit I'm.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Looking forward to the most. We have all the usual stuff,
So we're going to have highlights of the Eagles game.
JP and Reese are going to break it down. Tony
Boselli's going to look forward to the Vikings game. But
the highlight for me is Reese sits down with Josh
Heinz Allen and Josh has been on the show a
few times before, and so him and Reese have a
lovely relationship. And I'd written all these insightful questions and
(13:02):
it just ends up being just like this, two bros
having a chat in the end, and it's really nice
to watch.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
So tuned in for that if you want to see
a nice bromance. Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 4 (13:13):
It's so lovely their relationship, It's really nice.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
What's it called? Where is it? When is it?
Speaker 4 (13:19):
It is called Jaguars Weekly UK and it is on
this Wednesday at nine pm and then it will be
repeated throughout the week with all of the bits then
put up on the Jaguars UK YouTube channel. In fact,
there's loads of original content going up on the Jags
UK YouTube channel this week as well.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Okay, every single week on till Talk we bring a
fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars from the UK and Ireland
in to give us other big question. This time around,
Hello to Francis Sweeney. Francis, what is the big question?
Speaker 8 (13:50):
So as you you two goes to a lot of
the Jags events, meet a lot of the players. What's
your coolest story you've got any of the players.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Okay, this is where I think that I should pass
to keep, because I feel like he is going to
going to have better ones than I do.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
The coolest story that I have about any of the
players I am not allowed to tell on this podcast,
but I will say Ross mattersick on the tour when
we were in Dublin trying to split the G on
a pint of Guinness and having to go through several
(14:26):
pints of Guinness just because his level of competition was
that high that he had.
Speaker 7 (14:31):
To get it right.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
I was very entertaining.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
How many times did he try and was he successful?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
I don't think I should say how many times he tried,
but yes he was successful, But I don't think it
was down to skill at the end.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
When I went to Dublin recently, I was there with
someone who he doesn't even like Guinness, and he bought
a Guinness just to try and split the G and failed,
and then just dindering the rest ten years.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Absolutely amazing.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
I think that the other I swear that most of
your stories actually revolve around Guinness. I swear key because
I think that you've said before that, you've been, you know,
been having a nice few few guinnesses with coaches from
the Jackson were Jaguars before I.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Did, I had a pint of guinness with coach Heth Farwell,
which was he's such a lovely man, absolutely lovely man.
And yes, there was a lot of splitting the gall
as well. I won't say how many attempts were made.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
So essentially we can get the impression here that his
favorite stories and tell about Jags players just revolve guinness.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
There's always around guinness.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Or can't be told on the podcast. I can't be
on the podcast forget that element.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, I don't think that my I don't have anywhere
near as good stories, to be honest with you, I
think that. I think it's just nice to be able
to meet the players. And actually what the best thing
actually about meeting the players is those moments before and
after you interview them, because as much which is you
(16:00):
can have a really natural, fun conversation on camera when
they're when they're off camera, they're just guys. They're just guys, yeah,
you know, and that's why it's quite nice because you
get to like really just get their opinion on whatever
or just have a conversation and just realize, yeah, okay,
these guys get paid a lot, they play a sport
that we adore, but at the end of the day,
we're not.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
We're quite similar in a lot of ways, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
One hundred percent. Shall I tell you one that was
really human, right, which was we were again? It was
on the play at all and it was everyone was
on a bus and I think it was from London
to Bristol. Everyone's you know, listening to music or watching
a film on their phone or whatever. Apart from one person.
I looked over Foyerer Lucan was studying the playbook and
(16:47):
I thought that, right there sums up who that guy is,
his ethos, his work, ethic, everything. I just thought, man,
that is he's so dead did to what he does
for a living. I thought that was phenomenal seeing him
do that.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
I love that. I love that.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Francis tell us, well, first of all, you are, if
you're not watching on YouTube, get over to YouTube because Francis.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Is decked out in Jags. Geared tell us how you
became a Jags fan.
Speaker 7 (17:16):
Just by watching the NFL. And then I went to
a couple of Jag events with my son.
Speaker 8 (17:20):
I managed to the tour he was just talking about,
and then I was lucky enough to go to an
open practice last year as well.
Speaker 7 (17:26):
We've just been hooked because the Jags.
Speaker 8 (17:27):
It's not just the players that are really nice, but
we've managed to meet a lot of the people work
for the Jags as.
Speaker 7 (17:32):
Well, and they have all been really friendly, really polite.
Speaker 8 (17:35):
So so I've met Key last year one of the events,
who's as well, very really cool and talking to us
all the fans and JP as well.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
He is a lovely guy.
Speaker 8 (17:43):
He's lovely to He talks to everyone who walks around
a pub and he loves a pint or two. Just
the players as well when we meet the players like
that also amazing. Josh Aden one of the nicest, coolest
people you could ever meet in your life. And he
signs everything and it's Lacey always his name wrong. He's
such a cool, nice life for such a big bloke,
so friendly.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Do you just carry around all your Jags gear with you, mate,
or did you have to get it? You know, especially
going because I hear you were at work, presbly work gear.
Speaker 8 (18:13):
So I was at work and I said to the
missus key text me can I go on the podcast?
So I can't go on it. I ain't got no
Jag stuff for me. This would be organized to meet halfway.
So I've gone to go get it. And I've got, like,
I've had to make sure my signed jersey behind me,
so I've got to show them off.
Speaker 7 (18:28):
I'm lucky enough for a few of them.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
And then I've got a sign ball behind me. And
then obviously the chain goes everywhere. If I go out
and I'm going to anything Jags, I'm going I've got
to go to a pub with my son, my oldest
in Leeds. We're going up there to go meet him
and his missus go watching games up there at the
end of the month.
Speaker 7 (18:44):
And I've told them this is how I'm going to
the pub. I'm a Jags fan.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
Every time I see you out and about, it's you
and your family and you're all dripping in Jags and
you always look amazingly.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
So you're awaring that you've got that, you've got your
jersey on.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
You've got three jerseys behind you, what do they?
Speaker 1 (19:04):
So tell me tell me what the sign jerseys are
behind you, which ones, which one's like your favorite as well?
Speaker 8 (19:09):
I've got to say josh Adam just because that was
I wanted to get his jersey signed, just because he's
such a nice guy. And I was lucky enough to
get Trevor Lawrence to sign amazing and he signed a
Fronko pop for.
Speaker 7 (19:21):
Us as well. That's really cool.
Speaker 8 (19:23):
We've hit on that away at home, and we've got
Carl Walker. We went to the signing as well.
Speaker 7 (19:28):
He was really cool. And I've got signed card as well.
Speaker 8 (19:31):
Then obviously I've got the sign ball that is just
decked out when I went to open practice and we're
signing as well, so that that surprise position. My wife
told me I can't decorate the house until and convert
my front room into a jag strine.
Speaker 7 (19:49):
It might happen.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
I think it's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
You know what though, I always love sign stuff, especially
like that signed ball, because you will have that like forever,
do you know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (20:00):
Like yeah, one hundred percent.
Speaker 8 (20:02):
When I bought my son the Funko POxy collects him,
I managed to get the Trevor Lawrence one and I
was like, I've got to go to open practice with
you again. It's such a good time, and I was
hoping it had come over and I was gonna start
shouting him. He did come over and he signed everyone's stuff,
and I was like, please sign this and that. That's like,
it's just everything's treasured in our house because they've sign it.
But it's a family thing, like we do it together,
(20:23):
Like we all go out. The oldest one's down as well,
we all go out and do stuff. So good family
day out.
Speaker 7 (20:28):
Really, do you all.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Watch the games together as well as a family.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
One hundred percent? So if my oldest isn't working.
Speaker 8 (20:34):
He lives in Leeds and here wats the games and
he'd be texting us during the games. And then my wife,
she doesn't watch any spool by the way, she religiously.
On a Sunday, we sit down, we've got the Red
Zone on, We've got the Jazz game on, and.
Speaker 7 (20:47):
We just sit there and watch it. And then it's
just it's just my heart.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
That is so nice. I mean, that is just like
a proper family activity. And that's kind of why it's
so nice for you can have the Jags be that
almost that bond between I mean obviously your family anyway,
but you know what I mean, like that they're they're creating,
creating family time.
Speaker 7 (21:09):
Oh, definitely, it's the family time. It's not that when
we've gone.
Speaker 8 (21:12):
My wife couldn't come to the first signing one, but
she come the second one with Josh Allen and Carl
Walker was there and fed Taylor. But obviously I know
a lot of people in the in the jack scene
and they will chatting to her and stuff, and then
she was enjoying being the key for three hours wait
get it signed. But obviously I've made a lot of
friends through the Jags as well. I think you've had
Jamie and the cast and other people as well. And
(21:33):
I've got a WhatsApp group of people. If I don't
understand how certain pain that's happened, I message him and
they have a plying back. Or if I want to
buy something, I'm like just card, okay, It's it's good
and I'm quite happy to communicate with us.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
There's proper a.
Speaker 8 (21:44):
Nice family atmosphere, and I can't wait till next year
to go meet up with them a lot more than
meeting the players.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Again, isn't that nice? Key, isn't that nice?
Speaker 4 (21:52):
I love that so but that's that's what it feels
like when like when does watch parties or when there's
the signing events or open practice. That's what it feels
like because you're seeing a lot of the same faces
and you're having chats and like catching up, and yeah,
that's what being a Jags fan in the UK is
about to me. It's like seeing all the same people.
Then it feels like you're meeting mates that you haven't
(22:15):
seen for a while because we're all from all over
the country, and then these events help us all catch up.
It's really lovely.
Speaker 7 (22:21):
Man.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
We need to talk about the next game, Francis against
the Minnesota Vikings. We get a fan every single week
to give us their prediction, So this is your job
this time. Guests have got three rights out of the lot. Okay,
I'm on four, he is on two. So you are representing.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Because I'm loyal, because I'm loyal.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
What's your predictions for the score? Please put the Jags
Vikings game, and I.
Speaker 8 (22:50):
Think they're struggle to go over fifteen points. We're going
to score thirty. Llawyance when Trevor Lawrence has got time
in the skyrocket, he's unbelievable.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
We can throw that ball.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
That is that is confident. I love it.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
I love it, so thirty two fifteen, you're going, yeah, thirty.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
That is that is a that is confidence. Nothing wrong
with confidence. Frances, thank you so much for've been on
till talk today.
Speaker 8 (23:13):
No, thanks for having me. I love your tiktoks. I've
been following you for about a year as well. Thanks
having Because obviously it's a technical side I've got no
idea about I'm still learning, but I do watch a
couple of your ones as well and stuff, and obviously
watching Jags weekly as well.
Speaker 7 (23:27):
That helps. I appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Man see saying mate, thank you very much to Francis
keyth lovely man, lovely chain.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
I mean that's what everyone wants to be said about them,
isn't it.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Lovely man, lovely man, lovely chain, lovely chain. And very
confident obviously about the game against the Vikings this weekend.
You know, I did mention actually that the tally so far,
the rankings I'm on four fans are on three, Key
is we're at the bottom at two. I say, way
at the bottom. It's not actually that far off. What
I do need to mention is that you predicted last
(24:02):
week there would be three hundred plus rushing yards okay,
between the two teams, the final tally between both of them, oh,
two hundred and ninety seven.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Yeah, So what I said about the Toush bush earlier,
I might take that back now. Oh my goodness, three
years off.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Man, if they got both, If the Eagles got both
those toush bushes, you'd be uh, you'd have got both
of that, when't you?
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Or if the Jags maybe got more than sixty something
yards sixty the way, Yeah, that would have been my preference.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Yeah, yeah, Okay, let's move on to our predictions then, Key,
you can go first, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Oh, I'm going to stay loyal. I'm going to stay loyal.
I'm going to go Jags win. I'm going to go
twenty four, twenty one, and I'm going to BTJ. One
handed catch, spectacular, one handed catch.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Okay, over to you.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Do you know what would be good about that? Actually,
there's been a whole host of amazing catches in the
NFL over the last couple of weeks. Why can't BTJ
get involved in that?
Speaker 3 (25:15):
No?
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Exactly, let's go with and you know last week, how
I wasn't the I felt guilty because I said the
Eagles would win, and obviously the Eagles did win. I
wasn't happy about it, but the Eagles did win. I
feel more confident that the Jags can pull an upset
in this game than they could against the Eagles, because,
let's face it, that first half against the Eagles wasn't good.
(25:36):
So I'm going to say, I'm going to say a
cool twenty one eighteen victory. Let's go with a walk
off touchdown because they nearly had it last week against
the Eagles. Let's turn it all around and let's make
sure that the Jags can get it this time.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Oh dude, I really like that.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
So confident bags, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Yeah, I feel feel more confident, feel more confident than
did last week. I wasn't feeling overly confident last week,
but this week, I'm feeling confident.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
I'm actually better this week, Jay, Is that what it is?
That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
I'm just in a better mood, to be honest, in
a better mood. I will I actually will not be
watching the game live because I'm going to be I'm
going to be in the US next week for this game,
oh love, but not actually not in Jacksonville. I'm going
to Louisiana next week, so I won't be able to
watch the game, but I will be watching it. I'll
be watching it shortly afterwards, maybe TV there. I'm going
(26:32):
to it. I've been asked, I'm going to a Saints game.
I've been invited to a Saints game, key, which is
nice ahead of the super Bowl. You see the head
of the super Bowl, So I'm going to go over there.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
And then are you trying to scout some tickets for
the Super Bowl?
Speaker 7 (26:46):
Jay?
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Is that what's happening.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
If it happens, it happens, I see, I'm onto you.
Maybe Jacksonville will be there, hopefully. I did actually hear
Tony Tony Vercelli on the commentary the other day. He
was saying there was less than a one percent chance
that the Jankuers might be in the playoffs. Tony, I
love it was just like, what sort of chance?
Speaker 2 (27:09):
I want to think to you?
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Tony says some fun stuff on the show this week.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
That's what I want to think.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Really, Okay, good o good And do we get before
we say goodbye? Do we get a positive notes from
you like we did last week?
Speaker 4 (27:23):
No, because honestly, at the end of the Eagles game.
I thought, do you know what, if I was Jay,
I'd be really mean about what I said at the
end of last week's podcast. So no, I'm in my heart.
I feel hopeful, But there will be no speech. There
will be nothing on record.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
There needs to be a speech. I enjoyed that speech.
There needs to be more speeches next week. Key, I
anticipate a speech. No matter what happens in this Viking.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Story, I'll put it this way, it's still mathematically possible.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
There we go. That's well.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
No one has ever no one has ever felt inspired
by the phrase mathematically possible, have they? I don't think
it's own phrases.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
All right, thank you very much. Key.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
We'll be back next week, won't we. This has been
a Shooting Shark production for the Jacksonville Jaguars UK and Ireland.
Go subscribe if you're listening, go subscribe on YouTube. If
you watch it on YouTube, go subscribe on your podcast.
It will be lovely.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
We'll see you next week.
