Speaker 1 (00:00):
And Grand Rising family, and thanks for starting your day
with us again. Later Queen A four will return to
our classroom. Queen A four is an author, alternative medicine practitioner,
and a wellness coach. Before we hear from Queen A
fool though, Willie Flowers, the president of Howard County NACP,
along with Attorney Phillip Thomas from the Lowden County NAACP,

(00:20):
will preview today's voting before the Civil Rights official investigative
reporter Jeff Gallup, who will analyze the government shutdown and
its impact on the turnout of today's election. But to
get a starting mama teller, we're gonna speak with Chicago
actor his pastor Anthony Williams. But first let's get Kevin
to open up these classroom doors for the family. Grand Rising, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Grand Rising, indeed, Girl Nelson.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
These doors are very heavy man to push open, because
there's just a lot happening on this election day, November four,
So we got to push the door. Push for excellence.
As Jesse Jackson would say, Hey, how are you feeling,
Carl Nelson?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I'm still learning, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Yes, indeed, it's sweetie, I'm telling you man today there's
a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
So get out a brand new notebook and get.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Ready, and what are your thoughts on things that are
happening today? As far as as election day goes, you will.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
The first thing I'm look at it is a turnout.
Who's turning out? Where's the young folks? So that older
folks are turning out? Because what's going to happen today
is probably a precursior to what's going to happen next,
next month, next, not next month's pardon me, twenty twenty six,
what's gonna happen in twenty twenty six. So everybody's watching
to see which way the country's going. And this today's
voting will give a good example.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
The website called The Independent says, are suburban knights in
Virginia mad enough for Trump for taking their jobs?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
With Trump's multi racial coalition hold? In New Jersey?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Real mun Damie, mom, Donny, you have a mandate to govern?
And and the list goes on and on, and so
you were saying that the President is yet to endorse
the Sister in Virginia.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
I think he may have endorsed it, but it was
sort of a sideways endorsement, not a full throated endorsement,
you know, like like he did in New Jersey and
Mickey Cheryl has going up against Jack considered traili hoping
and pronouncing his same current. He's a Republican and they
think they can flip Jersey because Jersey was once, you know,
a Democratic standout, but now it's some people say it's

(02:32):
it's turning, it's turning red. So we'll see what happens.
But yes, he did not. And uh, Barack Obama, because
you heard his commercials on this on this particular program,
is supporting uh when some Earl Sears his opponent, Abigail Spanberger.
So these are some key races to watch.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, I tell you.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
And that sister Earl Sears thanked the President for his
support in one of her posts on Twitter also known
as acts. So so there's that happening.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, but he didn't go there and campaigned for her.
You know what I'm saying, Uh huh, it's Virginia's next door.
He don't have to go that far from the White House.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
You know you're gonna go across the fourteen Street bridge
or the Joe Wilson Bridge.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I mean right, once you're there, you could have done
a rally, for her right there, you know, but hey,
who knows.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Well, yeah, yeah, it's something about the appearance of Barack Obama.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
It's it's like currency.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
So he he picks and chooses how he's going to
show up at these things.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
And you know, you can't check this. Kevin, you know,
he was getting a little bit little heat because he's
back in Spanburger, Spanburger, who's white Jewish and against the
black woman when some earl sears, you.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Know, and she's running Abigail Spaanburger is running a vocal
anti Trump campaign, and I think that's one of the
things that Barack Obama is sort of endorsing or you know,
supporting in reverse of the sister who is saying everything

(04:23):
Trump does she agrees with. You see that sometimes that
can be the Alba Charles around your neck. I don't
know if anybody remembers rhyme of the ancient mariner, but
that's where that little saying comes from, the abatross around
your neck and it and I think that that might
be what's hurting winsome earl seears the Republican Canada.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Part of you know, people are trying to analyze it
and say he didn't give her full throated support. And
maybe because she's black, maybe because she's a woman. But
on the other hand, too, Trump never likes the back losers.
It's in his mind, everything's got to be a win.
He's got you know, everything is win or lose with him.
So he may have not supported her fully because he

(05:10):
thinks she may lose. And here's one looking, here's the
one that tied to him.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Oh okay, then there's the attorney general raised in Virginia,
and it goes on and on. They we're got to
keep our eyes on in that and I don't see
what when the polls will open, but you know, keep
your ears open. We've got our news update coming there.
I'm sure they'll fill us in on at certain times

(05:37):
that the they will open and close.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, they usually open around seven in the morning, you know,
must But some countries they whining selection dates a day off,
there's no work because they want everybody to participate, excepting
this country.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Well, but ironically the government is off.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
That's right. And that's another question. I mean, how's the
shutdown going to impact the elections?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Right?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Well, and many of the senators think that this election
will help be a reason to break the stalemate. Don't
ask me how, but that's what reports are saying here,
according to some of the things I've been looking at,
and like the PBS News that says that it becomes

(06:26):
the longest ever. As Trump says he won't be extorted
by Democrats. He's calling an extortion if they continue saying
that they won't extend. They want to extend the Affordable
Care Act, and they're using it as their I don't
know their win lost position, and he's like, he's not

(06:48):
going to do that. He says the Democrats have lost
their way and predicted that they'll capitulate to the Republicans.
He says, I think they have to, and if they
don't vote, it's their problem, you know. But I thought
the president's supposed to be the one that makes everything correct.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
There well, and and he's been so quiet on this election,
you know, so that's interesting. He's he's not as vocal
out there, like I said, boots on the ground in
these different areas of supporting candidates. He's sort of hands off,
being in the background. So that that's that's kind of
interesting because you know, some people say, I think it's
going to be a mandate on his rule, what he's

(07:25):
done so far, the results which we will find out
of course tomorrow evening. If it's a mandate, if the
Republicans win big, that he's going to be you know,
he's going to be very joyousy, saying that this is
the cruiser they support him. But if the Democrats show
up and turn the tables, now he'll he'll think twice,
he'll probably end that stalemate. But that's to be determined
that the people show up to the polls.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
And he's pushing for the filibuster to to be banned.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I guess how you put that.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah, he's pushed on the filibuster could prove a distraction
for Senate majority John Thune and the Republican senators who've
opted instead to stay the course as the consequences of
the shutdown become more acute. So it's unclear the Republicans
are in favor of keeping the philibuster, yet the President

(08:17):
is saying, don't continue the filibus and that will help
break the stalemate.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Your thoughts on.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
That, Well, again, everything hangs on what happens today because
today will determine whether he's got the support of the
American people. And depending what the results are, which he'll
be probably talking about it on his media platform tonight.
When the results come in, he says, say the people
up behind me, or they're not behind me, or he'll

(08:47):
come on some excuse why some of these candidates fail.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Meanwhile, don't want to be remissed without saying that our
hearts go out to the people in Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa
called was so much damage and flooding in Jamaica, and
the Black River Hospital as overflowing and during all of this.
So if there's any way you know, anybody can can

(09:13):
send or help out, you know, buy cases of wader
or something. They need all kinds of help. So we've
got Pastor Williams standing back.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Thanks for you, Thanks Kevin, Thanks overing those doors versus
ten after the top. Pastor Williams, Grand Rising, Welcome back
to the program, grand.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Wise and doctor Nelson's so good to talk to you
this morning in your audience.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
All right, Pastor Williams are Pastor Anthony Williams out of Chicago,
and you're also involved in today's elections. Can you tell
us about that?

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Oh well, uh, well, yesterday I filed for United States
Senator for the state of Illinois. So our primary is
comes up in March, so I follow yesterday was the
last for Canis to fire for for state and county seats,

(10:06):
et cetera. So you know the process is in play.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
All right. How much of what your decision played into
what's going to happen today? Were you watching to see
which way if the Democrats are doing well or the
Republicans are doing well? In your decision making.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
Well, you know, of course, you know, you just make
observation of what's going going on in the world around.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
You, so of course, you know has an impact on
all of us.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
You know, Illinois being a blue state, you know the
Democrats will be successful in the state of Illinois because
it's a blue stadium and people have seen what's going
on around the country and seeing what's happening with Trump.
So Illinois is a blue state and the part of

(10:56):
will continue to be a blue state.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
You know, that's interesting that you say that. Pastor william
said twelve minutes after the top of our family just
waking up. I guess he's Pastor Anthony Williams out of
Chicago as an activist in the city. But Pastor Wims,
does this make a way Now for a person, a
candidate who says he's a unifier because you're talking about
red states and blue states in the United States. I
think Barack Obama said that when he was I guess

(11:20):
that a denomination, right, So do they need another pressure
not necessarily a Barack Obama, but especially those folk ideas
that Obama said there's no red state or blue states,
it's only one United States. Do you think that would
work today in today's election.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
I think that CAYN is an express right to people.
But I mean, let's look what's happening. You know, institutional
violence is at play. The institutions are violating the imagined people.
Yesterday a lot of daycare centers didn't open up because

(11:58):
they didn't get the funding for him. It starts that's affected,
the snap that's affected, and then other key programs that's affected,
and the great tragedy. There's the reason why from Roosevelt
to Johnson to Carter, you know, strengthening that safety net

(12:21):
so people can move up with mobility. And so how
can one have up with mobility when the programs that
were designed to help people have open mobility are being
stripped away. So, I mean that's a major problem.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Right now. So there's the liver out here, and.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Then we have the institutions are working to break the
spirit of the American people. So I tell people, don't
let anything anyone break your spirit. And what's happening is
that the Mega Party led by Trump, that's what they're doing.
They're blitzing people every day with crazy information, crazy things.

(13:05):
You know, the same Nazi playbook they running. They run
the Nazi playbook on us Man twenty twenty five. But
people at the stand red to resist. But when I talk,
particularly to people my community, and I always ask them,
I say, you know, don't let nothing make the spirity.
Said no, I'm not gonna let anything in bak my spirit.

(13:25):
So we had to hold up Brother Nelson because the
institution is now attacked against the people. And so what
we are experiencing now, we know, you know, my thing
is to talk about violence being the number one apartment
twenty first century where we're seeing it.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
In full boom.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
In terms of the institutions, our violating is citizens and
it does not matter what your status is. That's just
violations across the board. So hopefully, you know, hopefully people
will wake up, people will vote, people will be on
the right side of history because everybody's being impacted. So
I mean, if you're sitting around and you're not seeing

(14:04):
what's going on in America, then' help Heaven help you.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Well, let me tell you here and ask you this
question though, because they did a survey of what concerns
voters the most. If they ain't say violence, they said
the economy.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
Your thoughts, Well, what bottom line is say once again,
when when people are not educated, they don't know, is
that when you do when you talk about the economy,
I mean, well, how can I make money when I'm
being violated and I can't work? When the federal government
shut down? I mean, there's no way I get on
the airplane right now. Man, There's no way I get

(14:39):
on the airplane. No way.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
It's so quick.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
So, you know, hold that thought right there, because we
got to step aside for a few miles. Let me
come back though, Tell me who do you blame for that?
All the the the government shutdown that we're going through
right now. Of course, the air traffic controls are they're
forced to work. They're considered, uh what do you call it?
Employees that need to work. They have to work. So
the rest of the folks. They're not getting paid it,

(15:05):
so it says many of them are not showing up.
So I want you to get to your thoughts about that.
Though taking an airplane ride these days, sixteen minutes af
the top of the our families, I mention we got
to step aside for a few moments. We'll come back
with Chicago Pastor Anthony Williams. You can reach them at
eight hundred four or five zero seventy eight seventy six
and will take your phone calls next and Grand Rising family,
thanks for waking up with us today Election Day twenty

(15:25):
twenty six. Our guest right now is Pastor Anthony Williams,
out of Chicago's and Activities. Pastor says he's five papers
to run next year. So the question before we left
for the break, Pastor Williams with the fact that the
essential work is like the air traffic controls, they have
to be there even though they're not getting paid. Some
are showing up and some and outs because they got
to feed their families. So some are taking other jobs

(15:47):
in the meantime and calling in sick. Who do you
think that today's vote is going to blame for this
government shut down?

Speaker 4 (15:54):
I think the bug stops with the with Trump. It
begins with him, and it stops with him. And he
reminds me of the character that used to be on
Flash Gordon mean the merciless, mean the merciless. And so

(16:15):
we have an unbalanced, sick, schizophrenic, psychopathic man that is
running the country.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
He's sick, and so the nation is sick.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
And the only way the nation, I mean, what's going
to hold the nation together is the soundness of the
American citizens across the board, particularly the black community, because
eventually we're going to have to step in based on
history and we're gont have to say this country from
Fallham again and again, that's our history. To save this country.

(16:51):
But yet this country this time is going to have
to be reciprocal in terms of us saving this country,
in terms of giving us our repation. So the players there,
it's very obvious what's going on, and one doesn't have
to be extremely intelligent and articulate. You see what's going on.
You see this milkdown that's taking place. You see this

(17:13):
mad man that's running the country and going around the
world trying I mean he wants to in Thede, Nigeria.
You want to go to Venezuela white because of all
the minerals, his greed, his wanting to control the world's
you know, So we can't allow that. So we had
to be citizens, stand up, get to the ballot box.

(17:35):
Because if you continue to starve people out and people
have no opportunity, eventually it's going to lead to what
a revolution, It's going to lead to bloods. They're going
to lead to chaos. So what has the sound minded citizens?
The Democratic Party has to hold the line. They are
now a broken wing party. The other wing is broke

(17:58):
that the Mega Party, the Publican Party is a broken
wing party. The Democratic Party is a broken wing party.
And so my pray is is that ordinary citizens God
has a ram in the bush. Ordinary citizens are they're
gonna step up to the plate too.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
But as long as we're.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Talking and communicating with each other and looking out for
each other, you know, if they never give the snap back.
So what is more white folks getting on publicating black folks?
You better cook beans and rice.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Beans and rice. Hold that thought right there. Twenty three
after the top, let me ask you this, though, your
governor Spriska, he spoke to a group of educators and
they was talking about what's going on in the country,
and he said that Donald Trump can f all the
way off and he said the word. And he said,
he said the word, he got a standing ovation. I'm
just wondering how much of the country's gotten to that

(18:53):
level where profanity is just used by quote unquote leaders.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
I don't think that's wise. I think we should be civil.
That's very important. How you defeat Trumpets with civility. It's
very unfortunate.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
You know.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
I talk to two Illinois congressmen and they know they
don't know the work that I do. I said, look,
why don't you, why don't you go back to Congress
and why don't you push forth for resolution for civility.
Put the resolution out there first, see what the reaction is.
And they knew that what I was saying was correct.

(19:29):
But the thing is they can't. They're not taking very
clear out here. So it's going to be everyday average
American citizens with common sense who are going to have
to be inspired to step up to the play. And
a lot of them need to be running. All you
got to do is get your name on the ballot
by Some states are different. But the thing is that
there are people out here who are talented, who are ticklate,

(19:53):
who are committed to do the work. And so you know,
right now this is the time to inspire and encourage people,
not not put people down. So you have a man
on Pennsylvania Avenue who is I mean, he's the Emperor
with no clothes on. Everybody can see he's naked, and
he's sick. The man is sick, and the sick man

(20:16):
is leading this nation and all the people around him
is sick. So my prayer is that we just all
stand and hold the line. I think that we have
no other choice, not less there's the emmervents of a
third party. But the Democrats had to hold the line,
and we had to encourage them to hold the line.

(20:37):
Perhaps some of the Republicans will get converted and do
what's right, because the gold is is to serve the citizens,
not to serve yourself. But we're not they're not thinking
like that. So we need clear minded leadership in this
time of crises. And so, but the whole thing is,
you know, our Herd Biden, former President Biden and former

(20:59):
President Rock say he's a dark day he's in America. Well,
I wouldn't use that word, because you're giving power to
the opposition. What I would be saying is, don't we
cannot allow the American spirit to be broken. We cannot.
We must encourage the citizens. Don't let anything break your spirit.

(21:20):
We've got to be inspiring people to work together, because
if you call yourself being selfish out here now, then
Heaven help you. We must work in collaboration. We must
be a very open mind in terms of creative and
innovative ideas so we can move forward. Our children do

(21:41):
not deserve this, Our singers do not deserve this. Nobody
deserves what we're going through in America right now. This
man is causing this.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
This country to collapse. It's insane and we had to
be intelligent Americans. We had to stand up.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
All right. Twenty seven half the top hole. I felt
right there. Just got to know for one of our listeners,
the polls are open in Virginia only at six am.
Usually they you know, around the country they open at seven,
but poles are open in Virginia so guys can get
out there and vote. They opened at six am and
they're closed at seven. Pastor Williams Mark in Baltimore City
wants to join the conversation. He's online too, grand rise

(22:21):
in mark you on with Pastor Williams.

Speaker 6 (22:24):
I guess the good morning, gentlemen. In reference to the
SNAP program. I heard on the radio news just a
little while ago that the two judges have ordered the
White House regime to restore the SNAP program from reserve funding. However,
realizing that for individual it's going to be much less
than there are entirely two on a monthly basis. So

(22:46):
to help make up the depths of what is in
your state, Illinois, what are they doing on a state, local,
and private level and organizational level to help come up
with the money or some resources that these people so
the recipients can maintain the poor amount that they have
been receiving on a monthly basis, so they can feed

(23:07):
their family and their children, et cetera. Because that's a
huge deficit. You know, that's not better that's been taken
out in this restoration process of what's being done.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Well, what do you know, thank you, Patthor Williams.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
In the state of Illinois, Governor J. B. Prisker just
signed off on executive orders for emergency assistance for UH,
for food for individuals, and for certain institutions, particularly head

(23:46):
start programs. So you know, Illinois is responding in a
positive way, which I expect. But then people are working
in great collaborations in terms of these food banks. Perfect example,
at our church, we have a we have a food patry,
and we went from serving one hundred and forty seven

(24:11):
people a week now it's up to like, uh, they
told me one hundred and eighty families a week now.
And you know, you have a mixture of people that
are standing out there in the food line and waiting
for get food. So you know, we're doing the best
we can and people are, you know, working in collaboration.

(24:33):
That's very important. But thus far, you know, this is
a democratic state and the governor is doing what he
should be doing, is looking out for the best interests
of the people in Illinois.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Gotcha okay? At thirty minutes after the top of our
family just waking up, I guess it's Pastor Williams, Pastor
Anthony Williams from Chicago's and activists. He's also deciding to
get into the political fray next year. He's going to
run for office, and right now we're talking about today's
election days. Someone sent me to note that the polls

(25:05):
are open in Virginia. People watching the goobment to erase
in Virginia and New Jersey see if the Democrats can
hold on, can get those things and say hold on
to one of these in New Jersey, I think that
that state may flip. But Pastor Williams your advice for folks,
because going out to the polls today, usually if people vote,
they vote their interest. Some people don't vote the interest.

(25:27):
They vote because they say I'm a Republican or a
Democrat and I'm just going to vote on party lines.
And the question again opposed to you, is that they
took a survey and said the economy it's the most
important thing to them, not civility. So are you going
to have to change your message to reach the average
voter instead of talking about peace and civility.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
No, no, I'm not going any day because.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
When we did with the issue of institutional violence, it
always did with economics. Everything is that's a that's a
that's a key instrument. I mean, if you don't work,
you can't eat. So I mean you see the violation,
and a lot of people will say, well, you know,
it's the economy, it's that No, you're being violated. You

(26:17):
are being denied opportunities that as a citizen that you
should receive. You're being no opportunity for up with mobility,
You're being denied. It all effects the bottom line and
all effects the kitchen table. And so you know people,
you know, people you know, people are you know well,
of course a lot of people are filling with their

(26:38):
stomachs right now instead of with them with they're thinking
of mind, they're filling with their stomachs because.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
It is here.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
We are in this twilight zone moment in America. It's
sci fi moment, and it's real. It's real.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
So the number one thing for me is encouraging people
to survive. Of course that you.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Need the resources. But if we collectively work together, if
our institutions, particularly our faith based institutions, step up to
the plate and let us do the best we can
and work with those elected officials that have the interests
of the people. If you don't have the interests of
the people, you shouldn't be running for public office right now.

(27:23):
If your heart is not with the people, you should
not be occupying any seat, whether it's municipal, state, county,
our federal, We shouldn't be there, and people need to
give that type of expression that they just should be
voted out office. They should not they should be voted
out office.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
That's just it.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
We've got to serve people right now, and we've got
to serve people in a positive man.

Speaker 5 (27:47):
It's easy.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
You know, we can talk about how no good Trump
is all day.

Speaker 5 (27:52):
We know what he is.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
But at the same time, we've got to live on
the country has to live on. You know, we've got
to shoes life versus this death mold that this Trump
administration is regime that somebody used is pushing us towards No.
We got to encourage people to live on. We can all,
we can all make it, and so you know, we

(28:15):
got to do what we used to do. I know,
I grew up where we shared. So it's not about me.
It's the bigger picture. So we do the best we
can right now, and we encourage people right now, Brother Nelson,
That's what we've got to be doing because see governments
and mayors, they will come and go, but we've had

(28:36):
to continue to strive towards excellence even in a Trump society.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yeah, hold that thought right there. Twenty seven minutes away
from the top. I just got a note from our
newsroom here at Radio one. Dick Cheney in front sial
Republican vice president just died. He was vice president, of course.
George the Bush well, he just he passed away. Dick
Cheney was eighty four. So again just coming straight off
the wires here a radio one that the Cheney has
passed away, twenty six minutes away from the top of

(29:04):
the holt, though, I guess it's Pastor Anthony Williams. Pastor
Williams said, do you think today's the turnout? Because a
lot of people are going to be watching the turnout
of today's elections because some people just turned off about politics.
They just they're just gonna pass because they think the
politicians don't. You know, nothing's going to change whether I
vote or I don't vote. The situation is still gonna
be the same for me. What sort of as now

(29:25):
that you are into the political game, you're throwing your
hat into the ring. What are your thoughts? What you
how are you going to tell them that you know
their vote really counts they can make a difference.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Well, I tell people, if I'm on the ballot, you
and your family on the ballot. That's where you start
right there. You let people know it ain't about me
being on that ballot. Wow, I'm on that ballot. I'm
gonna let ballot for you and your family. I'm on
that ballot because I want what's best for you and
your family, you know you Instead of you know what

(29:58):
I do. I don't talk about myself or what I am,
what are out of company? I talk about reality. I
talk about the basic needs of how we can help families,
how we can help citizens, how we can improve things,
and how we can address the major problems of our
time right now, you know, governing and we are you know,

(30:21):
people are had to give credit to a lot of
our elected offishues.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
All right, twenty five away from the topic, I'll tell you, well,
let's take a break and then we come back, and folks,
you want to join this conversation. Our guess is Pastor
Anthony Williams out of Chicago, befogat right again, let me
just repeat this news item that we got from my
news from here at Radio one. Dick Cheney, Republican Vice
President to George W. Bush, has died. Dick Cheney was
eighty four. So the passion of Dick Cheney. I know

(30:50):
that's good come out on a day election data that's
going to be in the news quite a bit. As
I said, family, you want to get in on this conversation,
I guess Pastor Anthony Williams reach out to us at
eight hundred and four or five zero seventy eight seventy
six and we'll take your phone calls after the news
trafficking weather it's next and grand rising family, thanks for
waking up with us on this Tuesday morning, election day
in the US. Eighteen minutes away from the top there.

(31:10):
I guess his pastor Anthony Williams out of Chicago, as
an activist pastor, he too is getting involved in politics.
He's running for in the twenty twenty six the elections.
He'll tell us more about that before we go back
to the Let me just remind you come up later
this morning. We're gonna speak with Queen at four. Queen
of four speaks right here. Before we get to Queen
of Four, we'll speak of two individuals from the NAACP.
We're going to talk about the election day, of course,

(31:31):
and investigative report of Jeff Galloper's up next. He's going
to talk about analyze the government shutdown and its impact
on the turnout. And later this week you're going to
hear from chemutologist Tony Browner. Also sixties civil rights activist
doctor Paul Smith will be here. So if you are
in Baltimore, make sure you rate us a lot. Team
tied on ten ten WLB or if you're in the DMV,
we're on fourteen fifty WL. Oh. I forgot to mention

(31:53):
the ladies stews came in of the death of Dick Cheney,
the one time Republican Vice president vice president. You say
he was vice training for the whole country. I get
mean now saying he's a Republican vice president, his vice
traiing for the entire country. And he was George W.
Bush's vice president. So that's and he died today. He
was eighty four years old. So we'll see if the
unfortunately he picked the wrong day to extremely say this.

(32:17):
His death is going to be overshadowed by the election.
But let's go back to the election with Pastor Williams.
Pastor Williams, Uh, you're talking about civility, but we've got
the person at the head of the table isn't civil.
They use profanity, your governor's using profanity. We're at a
different stage eleven now. Before you would never hear of
elected officials a curse.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
Well, what happened? Trump came along and broke all the rules. Man.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
He broke all the rules, man, I mean, he broke
all the rules. He does not respect the rule of law,
He does not value life, he does not value anything.
I mean, he's a reprobate in the bottom line is
he's demonic, straight up demon, straight up demon.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
Man. We I mean none of those present. I mean
you've had maybe called right there.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
If you say he's a demon, what about all the
people who support him? What does them?

Speaker 5 (33:11):
They drunk the kool aid. It's a Jim Jones scenario.
They drunk the kool aid. And then this this this
whole sickness of make America white again. That won't be
happening either. They can go.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
Read doctor Francis quest Wilson's book that won't happen.

Speaker 5 (33:27):
That won't happen.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
So somebody wrote a book years ago, the Browning of America.
And so it is what it is is more people
of color than it is white people. But the same
time is that all life is important and we must
respect that until your leadership takes a several approach, you
would to have had this madness. You cannot if you're angry,

(33:48):
and I'm angry, mister Nelson, we can't. We can't come
together any agreement. We can't come together in collaboration. We
can't do that. And so the just the basic fundamental
things of what it means to be a human.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
He has violated that.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
And everybody around him, the people that he brings on
his cabinet, they operate from the same same mindset. They
all sick man. America is a sick nation right now.
And that's something that doctor King was very adamant about.
He said, all we were trying to do is save, save,
you know, save the soul of America. And right now

(34:24):
you have a man who is soulless. And like you said,
they asked him a question about heaven. Does he think
he's going to heaven? And Trump said, no, I probably
won't be going to heaven because it's close to heaven.
I'm gonna get is in Air Force one.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
He told the truth. He told the truth. So we
understand that. So we've got to.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
Be calm, cool and collective, and we've got to work
together now and ain't I could just do my thing.
I had to think about just not only my family,
but beyond my family. And that's the kind of person
I am.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
A fourteen away from the top of the family, just
checking in. Pastor Anthony Williams out of Chicago's and an
activist pastor in the Windy City. Pastor Williams, when you
decide to throw your you throw your hat into the ring.
Uh did you did you consult with your family? Did
you say, hey, I'm you know, because this is a
politics is a cold bloody game, as you know, but

(35:23):
your family is going to probably be attacked. Did you
have a discussion with them?

Speaker 4 (35:27):
Well, I've read before and my family is supportive. And
I am an elected officier right now as a trustee
at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
You have to get elected, but you don't get paid.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Not too many people gonna run for public office, and
there's no conversation. I didn't want to do it either,
but then I did it because I've been able to
help a lot of young people. I've been able to
get people employment, So you know, I have used the
position not for myself but to help others. If you're
going to be a up and serving served and right now,

(36:03):
anybody that's talking about running for office, if you don't
have the interest of people your heart, if you're just
there for ego or you doing something, then that's the
wrong motive. Why are you running me? I'm running to serve,
I'm running to do good. I'm running to.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
Make the lives of people better.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
And I just think I can do that based on
my on my history just as a citizen helping people
every day. So it's just, you know, it's got to
be your heart to do it.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
So you know, I.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Get that pass that's twelve away from the topic. I
get that it's got to be in your heart. But
it seems to candidates who are winning. It seems that
people are winning are on the other side then not
think about, you know, being fair and objective. They just
want one thing, and it seems like those are winning.
Maybe I'm seeing it wrong because we've got the leader
in the White House and all the folks who are
falling in. They don't care about, you know, other people

(36:58):
who can't make it. They don't care about snack programs
or people are going hungry. People are not getting paid
and they still have the majority of support in the country,
and at least till today. We'll find out tonight if
they still do. So how do you you run? It
seems like you're running counter to what the country is,
the mood of the country.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
And I think it's important that I do run counter
anybody else runs calnder because the average citizen ain't thinking
like that. The average citizens how me and my how
me and my family don't eat? You know, uh, elect
people who have your best interests, who lect people who
have the best interests your family. And that's the message
that I put out there. You have to put You

(37:39):
have to talk with people in a realistic terms, not
no pie in the sky. You can't pull that now.
It's just like imagine running for public office during the
depression in the thirties. Man, imagine that running for office
and telling people to vote for you and they can't
even eat. I mean, we're at that point now. So

(37:59):
if you ain't talking about up with mobility for people,
you shouldn't be running. And if you say versus like me,
as an independent and independent democrat, I could care less
about what the status quote thinks. And I'm not following
the status quote. What I'm following is pure motives and

(38:19):
what people are saying now. The people hear me, and
even the status quote hear me. But they are stuck
on stupid right now. So somebody has to come along,
be innovated, be different, and you got.

Speaker 5 (38:33):
To hold your position. You have to hold on to
your principles.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
If you believe in something truth in your heart, especially
if it's righteous, then you stay right that. But there's
a price to pay. There's a price to pay when
you run for public office. When you want to talk
about making transformative changes. Just don't be crying now, just
go get the job done. And that's all I'm trying

(38:57):
to do. To inspire, to courage and to help people.
And that needs to be the mindset of elected officials.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Now. You have some around the country that are doing it.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
If particularly in our blue states, if those governments hold
the line, that's an example to the citizens in this
whole nation that people are holding the line, People are
being respectful, and people are making sure that our systems
run effectively. People are now seen that when you file

(39:28):
all these key administrators who.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Keep who keep.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
The machinery going, you're feeling you're feeling their absence right now,
you're not paying people, but you want, you want a
pilot to get up in a plane and fly a plane.
The people in the control towers, they're sitting up there
and their stomach is growling because they a they feed.

(39:51):
And then how you going to be That's an intensive
job to be an ad traffic controller man, that's an
intensive job. And there's no way you can sit up
there in that booth and bring a plane in knowing
that you ain't paid your mortgage.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
And yes, because I hear what you're saying, pastor with them,
how are you going to make connect the dots because
you're talking about civility and you're talking about the economy,
and the polls show that most people are they don't
care about civility. They don't care if that Trump uses
profanity or your governor used profanity when they speak in public.
They just want to put some food in their stomach
so that they're concerned about eating. So connect the dots

(40:28):
for us. How you talking about civility and being sealed
and the economy putting food in somebody's stomach.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Well, you can't, you can't make it. Any planer when
you ask a question to anybody, do you want what's.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
Best for you and your family?

Speaker 4 (40:47):
The average person is going to say yes, And so
that's the positions you've got to take.

Speaker 5 (40:53):
And work towards that position.

Speaker 4 (40:56):
You know, your moth can say anything, but now it's
about it's about positive action, and that's what we read.

Speaker 5 (41:03):
Now, that's what we need now.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Because you know a lot of people that are ready
to throw their hands up, but at the same time,
a lot of people are saying this, I don't care
them about Trump.

Speaker 5 (41:16):
I'm going to find a way to survive this storm.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
So my thing is just to continue to encourage and
motivate people and work with people and say.

Speaker 5 (41:27):
We can do this together.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
And whatever resources that you can find, you try to
find those resources to help people, and you encourage people
to help themselves too at the same time, and most
people would rather help themselves than a hand out. Just
an observation.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Got youa seven minutes away from the top of our
eight hundred four five zero seventy eight seventy six. Sondre
wants you to talk about that, Dick Cheney. So let's
go to what Sandra to say about Dick channel line too,
Grant Rising, Sondra Color from Baltimore. Your thoughts go.

Speaker 7 (42:00):
Out and grand riding and calls the Union of Dene
I help for I.

Speaker 8 (42:05):
Thought about being Cheney. I hope he's.

Speaker 7 (42:07):
Ready for his judgment days he told the Big Lives,
he went along with the Big live the line when
he's going out to be judged on the big line,
I hope he got it straight. As for as Donald Trump,
yes he's sick and people around him know he's sick, but.

Speaker 9 (42:26):
They let him do out his evil dus.

Speaker 7 (42:29):
Before he died, so they keep them busy. As for
as stability, people do not want stability if they're hungry.
They want someone in office who will fight for them
and fight for their family. And you ask, what can
we do? We can't do anything really until these Red
States get together and understand what is going on as

(42:50):
what is desastation towards them. They have to come together.
We can fight all we want to, but if they
fighting against us, what can we do?

Speaker 6 (43:00):
Nothing?

Speaker 4 (43:02):
All right, response than pastor William, you can't go around,
you can't go around feeling powerless and say now we
can't be powerless.

Speaker 5 (43:14):
I'm not powerless, You're not powerless. The young Lady's not.

Speaker 4 (43:17):
Powerless while I am still a citizen, while we still
try to respect citizenship. If we respect citizenship, act like
a citizen and just do your part. Each one, reach one,
each one, teach one.

Speaker 5 (43:32):
But we have got we have got to be very.

Speaker 4 (43:36):
Very wise right now in terms of our decision making
as relates to our family and the community at large.
And we can do something and we can make a difference.
Look perfect example she saw about civility, It won't work well.
The highest form of civility is nonvioleus. It was nonviolence
that got our people off the back of the bus.

(43:57):
It was nonviotence that got us the right to vote.
There was non violence that opened up a whole lot
of opportunities because as King and others went through the process,
the thing was, okay, we got to make legislative change.
You can make a good law, you can make a
bad law. You can change a good law and put
a bad law in So people from this experience, we

(44:18):
should never go to sleep anymore. As it relates to
just allowing elected officials to make decisions for our life.
You have to be involved right now. You can go
online and see what they're voting on. Now we used
to didn't have that, but because of the technology, you
can see what they're doing. They're getting ready to vote
on that. Well, if you don't like what they're voting on,

(44:38):
let them know. But what happens we allow our elected
officials say, well, we're representing us. We know that you're
going to do right, not necessarily, so we must be
involved citizens. How we got here, in my opinion in
this country is that the elected officials made a terrible
mistake in terms of not educating the citizens on what

(44:59):
citizenship is is. And then the and then the citizens
made a mistake in terms of not holding the elected
officials accountable as it relates to the role of elected
officials and citizens.

Speaker 5 (45:12):
So we can spread the the the.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
The blame around, but here we are now we've got
to hold the line as citizens and encourage each other.
That's what we've got to do, so, you know, and
that's in the state of Virginia to day. My prayer
is is that people build on the right side of history,
because uh, that's that's uh, you know, particularly we talk

(45:36):
about West Virginia. Oh man, it's rough up there. It's
rough up there.

Speaker 5 (45:41):
All them poor white folks up there that need that snap.
It's rough up there.

Speaker 4 (45:44):
Uh so, I guess they'll be standing in the in
in in in the food line with those with them
red mega caps on. I bet you they'll take them off.
So we are it's got to be realistic about what
we're dealing with.

Speaker 5 (45:56):
There's no magic.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
I thought right there, past As, we got to step
aside and it caught up with the traffic and weather.
Just it just gave us a visual of the people
in West Virginia with the maga hats on the food line. Wow,
three minutes away from the top as Iventually we go
check the traffic and weather at different cities, we'll come
back with the call. So Pastor Anthony Williams right here
eight hundred and four or five zero seventy eight seventy six,
we'll do all of that next and Grand Rising family,

(46:20):
thanks are waking up with us on this Tuesday morning,
Election Day twenty twenty five. I guess is Pastor Anthony Williams.
He's an activist pastor in Chicago, and he's also now decided.
Yesterday he filed papers to run for office. Having said that,
though Pastor Williams, what what made you decide? What was
it in that you saw that you think you can
make a difference in the state of Illinois, Pastor Williams. Yes, sir, yeah,

(46:48):
what what you fied? You said, you filed the papers yesterday.
What what makes you think you can make a difference
in the state of Illinois if it.

Speaker 4 (46:55):
Well, I mean because I've made a difference as a
citizen and got let us pass And if a citizen
can get legislation passed, imagine what I could do as
a United States Senator. All you need is one person
who is willing and committed to make the difference. And
right now, this is not a time to be a coward.

(47:19):
And what happens, We have too many cowards who are
in positions of authority and they're looking for somebody to
tell them what to do so they can continue to
misguide the people out here. And so you know, people
see what's happening. People are not that naive or that
stupid to see what's going on, and what's happening now.

(47:42):
Hopefully and prayerfully that this current crisis will the.

Speaker 5 (47:48):
Cream will rise to the top. So see, I'm always.

Speaker 4 (47:51):
Hopeful, brother Nelson, that God has a ram in the bush.
He has somebodies or some group or someone who's willing
to step forward and take leadership, because I mean correct leadership,
to be servant leaders. That's what we really need now
is servant leadership. People who are not there for their

(48:12):
own self and for the dollars, but are there to
serve people. Because the bigger picture is is that life
has to go on, Society.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
Needs to move forward and evove, and we have.

Speaker 4 (48:25):
This breach that's taking place, and so those but too, adults, citizens,
elected officials, whatever your profession might be, we have to
step up to the plate and we need to be
our best now. It's time for us to be our
best now. It's really time for us to shine right
now with what's going on.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
All right? Five after the top, If Sister for Him
is checking in from Washington, DC, Grand Rising Sister for
Hima yell with Pastor Williams.

Speaker 9 (48:53):
Yes, good morning, mister Nelson. Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am,
Yes to your guest, Pastor Williams. After before you leave,
can you leave your contact? Is I need to get
in contact with you about something but I wanted to
say is there have been numerous people who have realized
that they've made a mistake, and they've articulated that they

(49:16):
regret the mistakes that they did. Some people may have
voted third party, not voted at all, and in fact
voted for this administration. But you had millions of people
from around the country came out for No King's Day
expressing their opposition to this administration, including all fifty states

(49:36):
and several territories. So I am confident that people will
come out during this midterm and some of the subsequent elections.
And as you know, Pastor, that even the mayor of
Chicago spoke at the No King's rally calling for a

(49:58):
general strike. And I I do believe that people are
going to come out because they are being directly impacted
by what is taking place.

Speaker 4 (50:10):
Right What say you, Pastor Williams, Look she look at
This woman is an intelligence citizen and she sees what's happening.
But then when she talked about the Mill Kings Day,
I was listening to Bill Morier, is that his name,
Bill Moyer. He was talking to Richard Still, and he

(50:33):
was talking about the Mill King's Day and he was saying,
you know, there wasn't a lot of black people out there.
Now they said seven million, more like eight million. And
then as I analyzed, I said, look, white folks fighting
white folks right now, let's be realistic, let's talk, let's
say what we say privately. White folks fighting white folks.

(50:53):
Now the right and the left are fighting. Black folks
called in the middle of the fighting. We must be
wise enough in terms of as this goes on, we're
going to have to be We're going to have to
be the lawal opposition in terms of holding this country together.

(51:15):
Black folks are and I say that, and I'll use
history as an example. We have not risen our to
our best yet. But right now, white folks fighting white folks.

Speaker 5 (51:27):
So here we are caught in the middle.

Speaker 4 (51:30):
Here we are getting the impact of their fight, but
we will survive. But see what's happening is that out
of the black community, and this history shows me I'm
looking at history from the black community, new leadership will
emerge that will make this country be a better country.

(51:51):
That I see is not about disliking anyone. I look
at the facts of history. You know, we're at our
best and I season unfortunately, and so this crisis is
going to make people better, gonna make people stronger, It's
going to make people realize that we can never let

(52:12):
this happen again, because unfortunately what's happened in America, we've
gotten so comfortable.

Speaker 5 (52:18):
But see when your creature comforts are being messed with.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
You know, no man and woman trying to give up
their remote control at night in their lounging chair. They
ain't trying to get it up. People are trying to
get up their creature comforts. Well, where your creature comforts
are being interfited with, oh, you're gonna get people upset,
and upset don't get people mad. So we need to
have we need to have a spirit of righteous indignation.
We must be involved in our communities. We must talk

(52:46):
to people, and if people don't want to hear it,
then it's gonna be some casualties in war because right
now we're dealing with psychological warfare, spiritual warfare. And the
fact is.

Speaker 5 (52:58):
Is that you know, the the the these.

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Demonic forces, they ain't gonna stop now.

Speaker 5 (53:05):
But people who are righteous, they can't stop. We can't
stop now. We had to take a stay.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
We had to look out for the interests of our people,
our community, etc.

Speaker 5 (53:14):
We got to be creative.

Speaker 4 (53:16):
We got to be creative, right now, who's more creative
than black folks?

Speaker 5 (53:20):
That's just the truth.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Well, yeah, that is the true tennant. For the top
of Jeff Gallopy on deck, we get to Jeff Momentelly,
But you're saying we can survive what's the economic downturn,
and white folks who experience it, probably for the first time,
will never make it. Is that what you're trying to
tell us?

Speaker 5 (53:37):
The oh man, look at it.

Speaker 4 (53:39):
They crying like the temptations out here, they cry like
the temptations. Now I'm talking to people. I talk to people,
you know, because I'm circulating the petition. I'm talking to
you know, I'm talking to.

Speaker 5 (53:50):
People across the board. And in my.

Speaker 4 (53:53):
Personal survey, most black Americans told me, guess what, I
ain't letting nothing break my spirit.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
I knew how to cook, you know. One lady was
telling me at the store where I was collecting signatures.

Speaker 4 (54:04):
She was telling me about beans and rice, how to
cook a chicken a thousand ways, how to have some
corn bread, how to do some muffins. I mean, the
people already they see what's coming, they know it's here.
And uh, the first sov who do they blame?

Speaker 5 (54:24):
Huh blame they blame.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
They look at the whole political system as a joke.
They look at people who are an officer who just
don't get the damn that's that's who they blame. But
the thing is is that, See, you're gonna blame yourself
if you don't do something about it. See I'm not
waiting for somebody to save me, save yourself. But if
the process, if they're putting up all these barriers, then

(54:51):
I just got to go around them, climbing.

Speaker 5 (54:53):
Et cetera, etcet etcetera.

Speaker 4 (54:55):
We got to strengthen people right now, and we strengthen
people what I care and I can passion.

Speaker 5 (55:01):
And half these people.

Speaker 4 (55:02):
In public office they got about as much compassion as
the shoes on your feet.

Speaker 5 (55:06):
Brother.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
That has to change. There has to be a radical
change in our mindset, a radical change of values that
has to take place, because we see this, this this shift,
and so this is an opportunity for those who who
who are are committed to change. I see Trump as

(55:27):
our opportunity to make America better because when we as
we move forward, we can use him as example that
this could never happen again in America and strengthen the
laws on the books and put some amendments and some
things in place where a president k talk about he
got immunity. We got to get him out of that,

(55:48):
and we and you don't. You don't get him out
of that by by fighting with fire. Fire with fire,
you maneuver. He's going to be maneuvered out and the
people are going to do that. And I just believe
the God of history is involved too. So my thing
is and I encourage people, let's keep on moving forward.
Don't letting nothing break your spirits.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
All right, We're going to break right here at twelve
after the topic, Thank you, Pastor Anthony. I say, folks
want to reach you and have more conversation with you,
or probably want to help your campaign. How can they
do so?

Speaker 5 (56:18):
Look here, I'll make it real simple. They can call
me directly with civil conversation at seven o eight every
coach seven o eight six' nine oh five three three
nine seven o eight sixt nine oh five three three.
Nine AND i want to thank, you Brother nelson for
the leadership that you give and your commitment to journalism

(56:40):
and your great.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Station and Miss, hughes Because i'm surprised you're still on
the air Because trump gonna cut you.

Speaker 5 (56:46):
Off pretty soon, too, Probably, Yeah i'm made out your
man with you? Man all right? Now all right then A.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
Chicago let's bringing out guest investigative Reporter Jeff, Gallup Grand, Rising,
jeff welcome back to the.

Speaker 10 (57:03):
Program, hey Grand rising from The states coast Of. Florida
let me ask you.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
This you know something of the passage just. Said he
says that The trump candidacy is an opportunity for other
folks or black folks that we're talking, about to make
a difference because people see what he's done or he's
doing basically and downplay. That i'll go for something. Different
how do you see? That do you think that's a
strategy that we, used especially today Election?

Speaker 10 (57:29):
DAY i think it's going to galvanize a lot of
local candidates who've been watching what's been happening over the
last well actually the last ten. Years you, know you
had the first, term then you Had biden's, term and
now you have a second. Term and people are realizing that,
politics and most of us know, this politics is truly,

(57:50):
local and you work your way. Up so you have
people who are concerned about the cost of, food, healthcare
all of this business with, tariffs all of these, things
AND i do believe, also don't forget student. Loans that's
moving a lot of younger people into the political. REALM
i do believe minorities to go and. Run and we'll
talk about one of those candidates.

Speaker 1 (58:11):
Shortly all, right let's talk about him. Now we're talking
About mundani In New York. City, yeah your thoughts on his,
candidates his, Race.

Speaker 10 (58:22):
Well it's it's absolutely. Unique you, know he's the First,
muslim the first millennial to run for that, seat and
that's a pretty big chunk of you, know the democracy up,
there the State New York. City you, know two million
voters will be going out today to decide whether or
not they want to push in a, different totally different

(58:45):
direction than the city has gone. Before so you've had black,
Mayors you've had other mayors who've stepped up and who've done.
Things here's one who's talking pseudo socialist ideas and implementing
them in the, city making some complete. Changes to the,
point you know you were talking About, Trump the establishment

(59:06):
is kind of concerned about where this could actually. Go
but he's definitely stepping, up he's and he's suited to
possibly win this major.

Speaker 1 (59:16):
Race, now let me just check this story just crossing
the WAY i. Say The republicans have hatched the last,
dish planned a blog as Around mandoni from Becoming New
York city's next. Mayor they're going to invoke A Civil
war era cause in THE Us constitution that's designed to
bar quote unquote insurrectionists from holding. Office but are They

(59:37):
are they using something of a backfire on them because?
Insurrectionists Could Donald trump be considered an? Insurrectionists i'll tell, you,
Well i'm looking at the. Cloud we got the step.
Aside i'll let you respond to those questions when we get.
Back family YouTube can join our conversation With Jeff, galves
an investigative reporter From. Florida reach out to us at
eight hundred four or five zero seventy eight seventy. Six

(59:58):
we're talking politics this, morning and the polls are open
open In, Virginia so if you want to join the,
conversation hit us up and take your phone. Calls next
And Grand Rising, family thanks for rolling with us on
This tuesday morning election day In america and one of
the races that everyone, everyone many people are watching The
New York city mayoral race with A Democratic socialist uh
is Around Mount. Donnie he's a huge favorite to defeat

(01:00:20):
former Governor New York Governor Andrew como And republican Candidate
Curtis sleeva in today's three way. Race the, question, Though,
jeff is the. Turnout we're gonna talk about the tournament
more And, Telly but my question to you before we
left the break was about THE gop this effort to
Block ma'm donnie if he, wins from becoming the next
mayor Of New York city by saying these are. INSURRECTIONISTS

(01:00:42):
i want to get your thoughts on.

Speaker 10 (01:00:43):
That, well it's it's one of those boundary busting ideas
that The Republican party has come up with over the last. Stuff,
WELL i guess the last, year you, know Since President
trump has been an. Office you think about, it they've
gone back to old laws to kind of redefine everything

(01:01:03):
through the lens of what's happening.

Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
Today.

Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
Uh the use of The National GUARD uh in certain
situations where you have protesters who are occupying a block or,
two and all of a sudden it's a national emergency
and the president has to step.

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
In so this.

Speaker 10 (01:01:19):
Idea of challenging uh the candidate's uh you, KNOW uh
documents and immigration status all of. That that's that's boundary
breaking and that's where we. Are so is it going to, Work,
well you, know we have A Supreme, court we have
we have a court. System it's gonna if they do
make a, move it would have to wind through the.

(01:01:39):
Courts and of, course you know The Supreme court is
more conservative than it, was you, know five years. Ago
but we'll, see we'll see exactly where this might take.
Us it's going to be a totally different. Direction can,
you as a president or as a party move to
strike down a? Candidate uh like when Um? Nami AND

(01:02:01):
i think that's going to be it's gonna be very
interesting to.

Speaker 11 (01:02:04):
Say.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Yeah And Donald trump has checked in and says he's
threatening to cut off federal funding to the city If mondanie.
Wings so they're trying all kinds of tricks to Get
cuomo to win this. Race so a lot of folks
are gonna be watching this. Week But, jeff let's let's
talk about the impact of the government. Shutdown do you
think that will have any bearing because, folks, now as

(01:02:26):
we called, it cut the food, stamps THE snap, program
and they say they're only getting partial. Funding that means you,
know they're still going to be a. Need do you
think folks are going to take what's going on with
the government shutdown on the office of the party that's
in power right, Now.

Speaker 5 (01:02:41):
Well they.

Speaker 10 (01:02:42):
Could you, know people are concerned about the price of.
FOOD i went in a few days ago AND i
saw a pack of hamburger for almost twenty dollars AND
i think it was maybe two, Pounds and that's that's
outrageous to. Me and it wasn't a really Cut and
so just think about the moms out there who are
who are struggling with their, kids or the folks who

(01:03:04):
are out of work for whatever reason and they're having
to rely on the stamp benefits and suddenly they're not.
There uh will that make them go to the? Polls
i'm not quite. Sure are they? Angry, probably but we
have to see if that anger translates into people wanting
to go out and to challenge The Republican party or

(01:03:25):
The Democrat Democratic party because of what's happening to them.
Personally that's that's the key.

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
Thing so is it the? Economy what they used to,
say is the economy? Stupid it's the? Economy is it
back to bread and butter.

Speaker 10 (01:03:38):
ISSUES i think bread and butter right, now just from my,
observations that's really on the minds of a lot of.
People but you're seeing, also you're seeing a wild. Contrast
think about. It more people are making money now you're
seeing a lot Of you saw what happened to Mar
lago over the weekend where there was a great gap

(01:03:58):
to be Semed halloween party and folks turned out in
their their finest you, know, tuxes and you had women
who were dancing in champagne flutes. Outside just a lot
of decadent or what some people might describe as hedonistic.
Behavior at the same, time people are struggling to find
rights and graving, pacts.

Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
You know in the.

Speaker 10 (01:04:19):
STORE i don't. KNOW i don't know this Is i've
never seen anything like. This i've heard about, it but
where it takes, US i don't.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Know, yeah many of us don't know answers for what's
going on because for most of, us just about all,
everybody it's the first time we've gone through some of
the situations that we're see in this country. Today twenty
four minutes after the TAP a FAMILY i guess Is Jeff.
Gallop he's an investigative reporter works out Of, Florida Central,
florida And, jeff we talked About proposition fifty. One this

(01:04:50):
is another era where you need to get another. Race
we need to watch real closely the proposition In. California
can you explain what it is for our?

Speaker 10 (01:04:57):
Audience, Absolutely and this probably is going to be the
most consequential of the situations that we're seeing on the ballot,
today the ballot issue Of proposition fifty which is In.
California as you, know one of the things that you,
KNOW i just mentioned how The Republican party Under trump

(01:05:17):
has been busting boundaries left and, right and one of
those boundaries was the more or less kind of an
honor system that once you get your delegate delegated representatives
for The house Of, representatives you you would redistrict or
draw up the districts in your state to be more
or less. Fair, right more or less politics does step.

(01:05:40):
In but what has happened is that that The trump
administration has pushed places Like. Texas they're talking To, Florida they're, saying,
hey redraw your lines so that More republicans can take
over and keep power in The house Of representatives and
that's that's extremely. Crucial, Right So california has come up

(01:06:00):
with In Governor newsom has come up with this idea
of challenging this this particular what some folks might say
as a paragraph by coming by asking the state its
residents to temporarily allow them to redraw their lines so
that they could negate the Five republican seats That texas

(01:06:21):
is trying to push forward or has has already voted
on and is pushing. Forward so this means That california
could go mostly or All democrat when it comes to
during its. Districts so that will have some consequence if they.
Negate what else is happening in across the nation in
some of the red, territories red.

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
States, Well, jeff do you think this is a risk
That newsom is? Taking what if it? Backfires what if
because some people still think That Kamala harris won the,
race won the election last, year and they think that's
something something went down with those, ballots you, know behind the.
Scenes do you think that there could be an upset
In california and they have egg on their face with doing, this.

Speaker 10 (01:07:06):
That's the chance he. Takes but you, know here's one,
thing and you asked, about you, know you, know people
being galvanized By. Trump Gavin, newsom who was looking at
the presidency for quite some time Before trump got into,
office he's been. Galvanized now he's doing something that could
again brust the boundaries that we've seen established in the

(01:07:27):
political system here in this. Country you, know you do,
This texas will respond and we'll match your, energy which
is what he's. Saying if you take Away democratic seats
In florida or In, texas we're going to vote and
have our residents apply redraw the district so that we
can get More democrats in our. State so he's doing

(01:07:48):
something that ten years ago people would not have. Considered
he's responding, directly and this IS i think a part
of this overall, strategy which is to Challenge trump head
on to go in and to ma energy with so
many ideas that they're coming out of The White.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
House all, right twenty eight aftertes out there that's pream Like,
California Kamala harris, says she's basically says she's not done.
Yet she's teasing whether or not she would get back
into the presidential. Race how did you see? That do
you think thinks she thinks it. Chilled you, KNOW i
guess straight, up do you think it's a waste of
time for?

Speaker 10 (01:08:23):
HER i would not want to call anything a waste of,
time you, know when it comes to the, pluitics you,
know look at, it look at. This you, know people
Thought trump was a joke and he ended up winning. Twice,
right he lost, once but he won. Twice And Kamala,
HARRIS i. DON'T i would not write her off just

(01:08:45):
based on the things that you're. Saying she's on a
book tour right now and it's kind of. Controversial you.
Know she talked About President biden and how she was
angry with, him disappointed in some of the things that
he did when it came to her to at the presidential,
podium you, know to run for. President but she could

(01:09:07):
be basically inoculating the voters out there by putting out
all of, this the bad, news the good, news the book, tour,
everything and maybe laying groundwork for a run in the
next couple of years with some other office or for
again for The president's. Office so we don't, know but

(01:09:28):
she is keeping her name out of the public good or.
Bad you can you know it is out there and
she's talking and she's actively engaged with the.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Electorate or could it be she's just selling.

Speaker 10 (01:09:40):
Books, well if you want to sell, books you can do,
that but she's, DOING i think something a little bit,
different and you can look at the. Strategy, slowly she's leaving.
Breadcrumbs you, KNOW i was disappointed with the way the
president did this last you, know with the race she's.

(01:10:00):
Next she could be talking About. Trump she's keeping her audience,
engaged and she she got a lot of votes during that,
campaign so you, know those are people who were really
vested in her. Succeeding. Now many may be disappointed with
some of the sayings she's saying, now but her name
is out there and she could, know you never, know

(01:10:22):
she could she could catch that political capital in at some.
Point and it doesn't have to be necessarily for you,
know for the. Presidency it could be for maybe and
she's already said she wasn't going to run for governor In,
california but it could be for Another senate run down the.
Way it could be for the glubatorial the governor's office
In california could be something. Else we never. Know she

(01:10:43):
could even be nominated for The Supreme. Court you never, know.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
Right, wow twenty nine away from the. Time there family
just joining. US i guess As. Jeff jeff is investigative
reporter In Central, florida that's where he, works and we're
just talking. Politics today's election. Day the polls are opened
on The East coast already and people are going to the.
Polls and let me ask you this, Though, jeff that
the early voting turnout was for The New York city mayor,

(01:11:07):
race it was. Huge. Uh do you see that the
voters are going to turn up in great numbers across
the country, today Including New York.

Speaker 10 (01:11:16):
City, Right, well that's gonna be one of the things
that we're going to have to watch at the end
of the. Day and that could be one of those
things we need to look out for to see.

Speaker 5 (01:11:27):
What will happen with the.

Speaker 10 (01:11:28):
Midterms what are people galvanized or are people angry, enough upset,
enough or concerned enough to show up to the polls.
Today traditionally these non presidential, years you have low vorder,
turnout but like you, Said New York city is challenging.
That will it happen In? California we don't. Know, uh

(01:11:49):
it's one it's one to watch it. IS i know
In New New, york you, know we're seeing like again
two million people turning up expected to turn out and
decide whether or not they will push one in one
direction or the. Other but everyone is on you, know
all all hands are saying that Mom donnie is going
to When Andrew CuMo will, lose and that will in

(01:12:14):
and of itself be a, bombshell and that could predict
what could happen with midterms as. Well we'll have to.

Speaker 1 (01:12:20):
See all, Right tony it away from, TOPICE i got
a treat question for. You tweeter, says please ask your
audience why are these elections important to black? People Because
i'm sitting this one.

Speaker 10 (01:12:29):
Out, Wow WELL i, WOULD i? Would you? Know, here
here's what we have to. Do we have to be
active participants in. Democracy are you concerned about rising the
rising cost of health? Care that's what the government shut.
Down you're Saying, obamacare the premiums going up for millions
Of americans who otherwise could not afford health. Care we

(01:12:53):
also see food, costs that's your basic bread and, butter
and not just for people who are on, snap for everyone,
again the cost of, meat the cost of a bag of,
rights all of these things that they're going, up the
rising costs of living under the tariffs that we're seeing right.

(01:13:13):
Now you go Into walmart and you're seeing things that
once were ten dollars now.

Speaker 5 (01:13:17):
Twelve.

Speaker 10 (01:13:18):
Right so black people are participants in this country as,
well and you have to, think, hey look is this
affecting me in other? Ways IF i don't go, vote
how will this affect? Me, well if you didn't go
vote the last Time Donald trump is now, president is
that affecting?

Speaker 5 (01:13:36):
You you have to ask.

Speaker 10 (01:13:37):
Yourself you can look at situations like ice and the
removal of. Immigrants you've all seen the. Videos you see
a Conservative Supreme court That Donald trump has, handcrafted right
that is now set to the side on the nineteen
sixty five voting right. Fact so does it matter to
you if you're, white, black, purple, green, ORANGE i would say,

(01:14:01):
yes we're all active participants in. Democracy you vote with
your voice or the ballot or you, know, hey it's
you have to we have to do.

Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
Something, yeah and if you don't do anything, too you're still.
Voting so you know that's that's That's. Marc. Yeah so
hopefully that the person who send that. Tweet will understand
that because let me just have this bit in. There
if you don't, vote then the other folks who vote
in their, candidates when they get to get better, schools better,
roads better amenities than you than the black community, does

(01:14:32):
and their children go to better, schools get better education
than your, child and the circle continues because they're going
to do that. Again that's it's one way of breaking the.
Cycle just go to the. Polls it's one way of doing.
That it's not the only way to just go to
the polls and. Vote twenty six away from the. Top,
Here mark In baltimore's joining. Us he's online One Grand. Rising,
Mark you're on With Jeff.

Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
Gallup, Hey Grand rising.

Speaker 12 (01:14:53):
Guys good, Morning yeah, Man i'm so upset about. This
this shutdown, man my jo and there was heartless. Man
BUT i think come to her should have. Won BUT
i think instead of going out and talking about the
bad and stuff like, that talk about why she should have,
won you, know and talk about how heartless The republicans

(01:15:15):
are right now shuting the government down just because they.
Can and my question to, you do you think that
that the transgender and all that stuff at the last
minute That Donald trump and then brought out and talking
like you could take, boy go to school and be
a boy and come back a girl and all.

Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
That people let them get.

Speaker 12 (01:15:35):
Away we're talking about we're eating uh geese or. Whatever
and do you think that was Her james call me
moments because she didn't really have a comeback for that.
Nonsense AND i Think pennsylvanian places like that gave them
an excuse not to vote for. HER i think her
time is. GONE i think she should be out there

(01:15:56):
talking about how how ridiculous this this show is and
how hard it.

Speaker 5 (01:16:01):
Is what do you?

Speaker 10 (01:16:02):
Think, well, Again Donald trump lost the election To Joe,
biden and he came roaring. Back he is now. President
you can't write folks, off you. Know in, Politics Hillary
clinton tried and tried again Until obama basically shut everything, down,

(01:16:23):
right you, know And Tamala harris, again she won forty
eight percent of the popular.

Speaker 5 (01:16:29):
Vote that's.

Speaker 10 (01:16:30):
Nothing the last she got more, VOTES i do, believe
more votes Than. Obama so what you have to look
at is what is she focusing on now? Now the
issue of Transgender some of those things that came out
with The republican talking, points they did have an Impact
there are a lot of people who are concerned about

(01:16:51):
issues like, that even though they're not necessarily relevant to their.
Lives had a conversation the other day and a person
was telling, me why is it that we're involved with
politics where people are concerned about what you put in
your grocery? Cart you, know, Snap you, know you have
people who always criticize and let them eat a hamburger
and not, steak and then they go from the grocery

(01:17:13):
park to the. Bedroom why are we concerned about what
people are doing in their? Bedrooms you? Know the idea
Of america is that we come together as a. Community we,
live we, laugh and we push. Forward but, Again Kamala,
harris whether or not she's successful in her bid to
remain in the public, eye she still was very. Popular

(01:17:34):
she did what she. Did there were a lot of politics.
Involved remember her campaign only WAS i believe one hundred plus, days.
Right she didn't go through the nom nominee, process a
nomination process like a candidate ordinarily, would and that was
one of the complaints From Barack. Obama but she's in
the public, eye she's still making her, points and they're

(01:17:55):
you know that she's not going anywhere she will decide
her faith whether and actually says in the public or.
Not SO i mean that's my assessment with my. Observation all, Right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
Thanks, mark twenty two minutes away from the top of
The our family got a step, aside get caught up
with the latest, news, trafficking weather in our different. Cities
you two could join our conversation and investigative Reporter Jeff

mentioned in the, news The Dick Cheney Form Vice. President
Dick cheney passed away last night and already THE maga
of patrols a controlling his daughter list channing because you
know they stood up Against Donald. Trump but, Again Dick
cheney passed away last. Night he was eighty four years.
Old eight hundred four or five zero seventy eight to seventy.

(01:18:51):
Six that's number to call speak to our. Guest AS
i Mentioned Jeff, gallup who was an investigative reporter in Central.
Florida before we go back to, them let me remind
you caught. Up later this morning, though we're going To
queen four will be in our. Classroom and before we
talked To queen and, four we're going to talk to
civil rights from THE, naacp two fellows from THE, naacp
and we'll talk about the race as. Well and coming

(01:19:12):
up later this, week we're gonna speak with Chemotologists Tony
browner and a sixty civil rights, activist Doctor Paul, smith
are going to be. Here so if you are In,
baltimore make sure your radio is locked in tight on
ten TEN, wlb or if you're in THE, dmv we're
on fourteen fifty W. L all, Right, jeff let's talk
about some of these state. Races just Take virginia. First
your thoughts on you, know as you heard the commercial

(01:19:33):
during the, Breakers Barack obama Supporting Abigail's, spanberger who is,
White let's just say. It And i've run Against Winsome Earl.
Sears how do you see that? Race because some people
say That sears did not get a full throated support
Of Donald. Trump how do you see that race going?

Speaker 5 (01:19:51):
Down, Well.

Speaker 10 (01:19:54):
Number one Of virginia is unique in the fact that
it's right there where the nation's capital, is and it's
sort of like a canary in the coal.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
Mine so to.

Speaker 10 (01:20:05):
Speak and this particular, race the governor's, race could determine
exactly you were asking about voters and you, know could
they be angry enough to go to the polls or
are you concerning this could be the one that kind
of plays the role of a bellweather to let people
know what could happen next. Year and so, far you,
Know spanberger is ahead of the lieutenant, governor who is

(01:20:30):
black and Of jamaican. Extraction she, never like to your,
point she never really got the complete full throated support
of the president for whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:20:41):
Reason, yeah and if the results come in she comes up,
short he has the comment of that and he would probably,
SAY i know she was a loser because he doesn't like.
Losing but let's look at The jersey race, Though mickey
Su cherrell And Jack Sarah, mantelly your thoughts on that.

Speaker 10 (01:20:56):
Race you, know you, know we were talking About Tamala
harris a moment. Ago she, actually of, course she Won
New jersey and you, Know Donald trump receives ABOUT i
think maybe forty five forty six percent of the vote,
there but she won the. Majority but at the same,
time The republicans have been making some inroads In New

(01:21:18):
jersey for whatever, reason and this particular, Candidate republican candidate
has won a couple of. Times so again like putting
your name out there, repeatedly this could be the time
when he comes back and he actually, wins but we don't.
Know this is another bell whether state that will tell
us what the temperature is with regard to voter attitudes as,

(01:21:40):
well you, know and the northern concerns a little bit.
Different you have a potentially severe, winter coal that's going
to be. Coming people are going to be concerned about
those energy. Costs you can be concerned about the price of.
Oil you got to maintain your, car basic. Things and
if they see costs going away to, healthcare going, away
to food going it's going to come down to what

(01:22:02):
CAN i afford and who could help me afford? It
you know that questions like you, said it's the economy,
stupid it will definitely. Matter, so, yeah that's that's one
race to.

Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
Watch do you think that the government stalemate will end
after today's. Elections if The trump and his party don't do,
well they'll force them to come to the table The
democrats and work out a deal and to shut out
because what people are, saying and they're pulling people where
they're going to make their, votes and they say the
economy is what's concerns them the, most and the economy

(01:22:32):
is going south right. Now do you think if The
republicans get a tunne lashing from the voters today that
they will change their mindset and you, know hurry up
and work out a deal of The democrats and reopen the.
Government do you think that will?

Speaker 10 (01:22:48):
Happen that's a strong possibility because right now you're seeing
the air traffic control, system you, know in near, chaos
with people who are unable to come to work because
they have to go find other jobs to make money
to pay their basic. Bills you're you're seeing confusion and
concern with the snap. Benefits people are not being able

(01:23:09):
to go out and purchase, items small businesses are being.
Affected all of these different things are interwoven. Together this,
is you, know one thing is not going to be
separate from the. Other so whatever happens today with this
particular with these, votes especially In, california which again is
extremely consequential because you're talking about redrawing the electoral map

(01:23:33):
that would determine what happens In. CONGRESS i do believe
probably in the next couple of, days if not the
next couple of. Weeks but now the concern That i've
heard from some people and read from from. Folks you, know,
again if you have a ten ear pi n ear
to the concerns of the, people and you're holding parties

(01:23:55):
at Mar lago that you know again have women dancing
in giant champagne, flutes you, know while across the river
you have people struggling to make ends. MEET i don't
know if that's gonna if that's gonna really uh make your, cause,
uh you know. Popular so The republicans have a lot

(01:24:17):
to think. About democrats have a lot to think. About
the greater goal is to hopefully come up with some
some plan to to make the thing told, out you
know before the economy is just advert adversely affected anymore
than already years all, right.

Speaker 1 (01:24:32):
Nine away from top of our, Family jeff, GALLUPIES i
guess he's an investigative reporter out Of Central. Florida we're
discussing today's election. Day, uh you, Know jeff one one,
area they're gonna watch one, group The, latinos because there's
many of The latinos who voted For trump now are.
Upset they because he's not doing what he promised he
was going to, do and they think they have the

(01:24:52):
power right now to swing, votes whether it be The
New york mayor race or the race In. California, uh
your thoughts on The latino Vot, uh, well you.

Speaker 10 (01:25:03):
Know TODAY i was reading a story Where latinos were
concerned about the same thing that everyone else is concerned, about.
Affordability you, know can can CAN i afford this? Meal
CAN i make?

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
This can?

Speaker 10 (01:25:15):
Can what what CAN i? Do what can be done
for my, household for my, children for my? Interests and,
uh you, know they'll turn out like anyone. Else but
we we've also, seen uh the impact that some of
these videos have, had viral videos Showing ice moving in
to to target immigrants who are either brown or. Black,

(01:25:36):
uh for the most, part obviously you can see. That
so will that Change latino, attitudes which you, know a
good chunk Of latinos shifted during the last presidential election
and helped to Support President, trump who in turn has
made immigration one of his top. Priorities so will will

(01:25:58):
it change? Things we'll have to, see all.

Speaker 1 (01:26:01):
Right sticks away from the top of Our Jeff, gallop
investigative reporter From Central. Florida let's talk About. Florida though you,
know the, elections a lot Of latinos, there many of
them in Southern South florida went For Donald trump and
some of them now are having buyer's remorse looking ahead
to the good natorial race In. Florida what do you?

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
See?

Speaker 10 (01:26:22):
Well and this is some some uh interesting news as,
well because right now you have H Byron, donalds who's
A house who's The house, representative you know for the
state Of. Florida, uh he's running for. Governor he's he's
uh hands over a feat you, know pulling well ahead
of This republican. Contenders he's doing very. Well and then

(01:26:45):
just yesterday we had a really Popular democrat in The Orange,
county Central florida, Area Jerry, dimmis announced that he was
going to run for governor on The democratic. Ticket that
so you're you're looking at and in this particular state
where one fit of the population Is. Latino you, know

(01:27:07):
we have a lot of immigrants. Here you're looking at
a race between two top contenders who Are African. Americans,
Right so that's that that in and of itself shows
that there's going to be a, change whether or Not
Byron donalds can can can Convince floridians that his conservative
values should outweigh any of the problems that The Republican

(01:27:28):
party has. Had will that remains to be. Seen same
thing can be said For Jerry, dimmings who who's whose
buttet heeads would run De santus over the immigration.

Speaker 5 (01:27:37):
Issue.

Speaker 10 (01:27:37):
Right he's the mayor Of Orange, county by the, way
which is Where Walt Disney world is. Located so he's
worked this way. Up he was the First African american
to hold a county wide. Office he's he's well, liked
he's well, known and now he hopes to make his
profile even larger so that he can he can run for.

(01:27:58):
Governor so but he still has some issues come as.
Well you, Know Central florida is a belt of democratic
uh uh. Voters he'll have to win over those conservatives
in the north and to the south as well and.

Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
West, WOW i heard one time That, DeSantis who's going
to have his wife run for the. Governorship is that
still on the table or as you pulled the, BACK.

Speaker 10 (01:28:23):
I think that's, uh that's now out of the. Question
there were some, investigations And i'm not as familiar with
all of the investigations into her charity, work but there
are some questions about, money uh being shuffled here. There
i'll just have to go back and research. That but for,
now she's she's not a.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
Candidate, okay for away from the. Topic i'll come find
a break real. Soon but i want to ask, you,
Well tweta said That ice might be at the, polls
this thing of. It they're making a big deal about
immigration and folks who are not citizens can, vote so
they Say ice is going to be at the. Polls
do you think anything to do with the? Race do
you think or is just wasting time trying because you, know,

(01:29:07):
people if you're not a, citizen you cannot. VOTE i
know they've been spending a lot of money the political
capital and saying that the immigrants are getting free medical
care and that they can. Vote but there's no. Proof
So i'll let You i'll tell you. What let's take
the break and just check the traffic and weather in
our different. Cities i'll let you respond to that when
we get back four minutes away from the top of our,
FAMILY i guess There's. Jeff jeff is an investigative reporter

(01:29:28):
out Of Central. Florida what are your thoughts on today's?
Elections reach out to us at eight hundred four or
five zero seventy eight seventy. Six we'll take you calls
after the trafficking weather that's next And Grand rising, family
thanks for rolling with us on This tuesday. Morning our
guest Is Jeff. Galup he's an investigative reporter out Of Central,
florida and we're also coming up, Next we're going to
speak to two officials from THE. Naacp But jeff at

(01:29:48):
the immigration. Issue this is what they rode into The White,
house that the immigrants that said they were eating people's.
Pets THEY i legal, IMMIGRANTS i SHOULD i should say.
That and they're also the day they're on the doll
getting met free healthcare and also free free social, security
of free money and all the nine. Yads but none
of that has Been it may be one or two,

(01:30:09):
incidences but it's not like there's a boatload of them
who are doing that your. Responsibity how far can they
win with this cultural?

Speaker 5 (01:30:15):
AWARD i don't.

Speaker 10 (01:30:18):
Know you, know the one thing about it is, that you,
Know america's made up of.

Speaker 5 (01:30:22):
A melting pot of.

Speaker 10 (01:30:23):
PEOPLE i will use that term because it's. True and
you can only go so far by antagonizing, people you,
know and that's in that's in day to day. LIFE
i don't know how that will play out in. Politics,
uh this idea of the dividing folks off is it
appears to be working, Now uh in some cases where

(01:30:45):
you're you're seeing. It but, OVERALL i do believe that you,
know the PEOPLE i, KNOW i know all types of.
Folks people just want to get. Along they want to
they want to know each other a little.

Speaker 5 (01:30:56):
Bit you.

Speaker 10 (01:30:57):
Know, yeah we may have some cultural, differences but, hey that's,
fine and we're going to go through the same baseball,
games basketball, Games we're going to listen to some of
the same. Music we're gonna learn from each, other you,
know have dinner, parties all of. This you can only
go so far with that in, life and then politics
has to follow that that rule as. WELL i would, suppose.

Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
All, Right, jeff before we let you, go what do
you what were you anticipating is going to take place?
Today with tomorrow morning when you wake, up what do
you think of the headline is going to.

Speaker 10 (01:31:26):
Be, well you, know there's a there's a lot of
breaking news going, on you, know like you, Said Dick
cheney just. Died and then you're looking at The florida government's.

Speaker 5 (01:31:36):
Race.

Speaker 10 (01:31:36):
UH i think today with the elections that we see
In New york And, California, virginia it will it will
be a temperature gauge as to where we are as a,
country where we are as a, nation how we will
address the problems that we appear to have right. Now
and then looming in the shadows, still you, know are

(01:31:58):
the issues of Immigration, Epstein epstein. Files you have that
still going, On and THEN i don't hear it discussed enough,
war this idea of war going to war In venezuela
or putting boots on the ground In nigeria or some
of these other you, know hopefully we'll hear maybe a

(01:32:18):
clearer vision today or tomorrow from some of our elector
officials about where it is that we're going to be
going with the, economy with the idea of, war what's
happening In israel And, gaza all of these. Situations so,
tomorrow maybe through a glass, darkly we'll see a little bit.
Clearer IF i let you.

Speaker 1 (01:32:37):
GO i got to ask you About nigeria and those
Places venezuela wants to go. Into do you think it's
all to reflect the news About? Epstein you saying this
is pushing Back epstein files coming.

Speaker 5 (01:32:48):
OUT i don't.

Speaker 10 (01:32:51):
KNOW i will tell you. This you, know WHEN i
was a kid AND i read, history there was a
phrase that was used in our history books In georgia
called manifest, destiny and that was the, idea and this
was stated in the history books that the white man's
destiny was to go around the world and to secure
education for people who were less, fortunate secure, land to

(01:33:15):
do all of. Them that was how that was. Framed
and that phrase keeps coming up AS i look at
what the administration is talking. About and this is not
a judgment per. Se i'm just using my observation looking
at some of the, propaganda like posters that they're putting
out from The department Of Homeland, security the videos over
over the, weekend there was a video from The department

(01:33:36):
Of defense that actually used The lord's prayer as they
showed videos of missiles being. Launched there is something, happening
AND i think there's an old idea that's being regurgitated
and recast to The american public right. NOW i think
this is a Different america than in nineteen. Twenty but

(01:33:56):
we'll see where it. Goes there is something to the
idea that, hey we can go Into, venezuela we can
go Into, nigeria we can go anywhere we want. To
we'll actually go Into gaza and we'll build a new.
Resort this idea that The american hand can go anywhere

(01:34:19):
is an old. ONE i don't know that it will
translate well into this new.

Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
World all, right we'll keep an eye on. That, jeff
thanks for joining us this.

Speaker 5 (01:34:27):
Morning thank, you and thank you for the.

Speaker 10 (01:34:30):
Opportunity god bless all.

Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
Right, yeah we need, That, Jeff Jeff gallup investigative reporter
out of Central. Florida stay our attention now to one
of our several rights, groups THE, naacp joining us right.
Now we Have Willy flowers as president Of Howard COUNTY,
naacp and also we Have Attorney Philip thomas From Aloud county.
Naacp All, right, Fellas Grand, rising welcome to the.

Speaker 13 (01:34:54):
Program Grand, rising good.

Speaker 5 (01:34:57):
Day how are you?

Speaker 1 (01:34:59):
Well you're still? Learning, yeah all, right let's let's take
a let's take let's start With Attorney Philip. Thomas Attorney.
Phillips you're In, Virginia Lowdon, County. Virginia what are your
thoughts in today's? Elections what do you see?

Speaker 5 (01:35:13):
Happening, WELL i believe that abigail' stanberger will probably win
the governor's. Race the only question is how large a
margin her victory will. Be some people have it at
ten to. Twelve others say it's a lot closer than.
That the size of her victory will be very, important

(01:35:37):
and everyone believes because of the attorney general a race
Of Jason marris and J. Jones J jones being A
Democrat African american out out of The norfolk. Area it
comes from a political flant family to have a long
time involvement In virginia. Politics jay, said some unfortunate the

(01:36:00):
things that The republicans have run. With. Uh while you,
know the same people who ignore what happened On january,
sixth they're you, know running around telling people the sky
is coming coming. Down. Uh jay and the polls uh
dipths once those that that that the comments came, Out
but it looks Like jay is starting to uh come

(01:36:22):
back and he's looking a little bit. BETTER i wrote
an op ED uh last week called The case FOR
J jones uh on why we needed to ELECT J
jones on The on THE i think The Democratic lieutenant
governor nominee would be. FINE i think she'll coke tail
off Of Abigail. Stamberger but the, key the key race

(01:36:44):
right now IS J. Jones and then also there's you,
know all of The House house of delegaces up in
The commonwealth hundred. Seats BUT i think The democrats should
win the. Majority the only issue will be how how
big that majority will. Be and that's just all be
a bell weather on On Donald, Trump no doubt he's

(01:37:07):
a big tractor.

Speaker 11 (01:37:07):
In this race right.

Speaker 1 (01:37:08):
Now Willie Willie Flowers Howard county NA a C p,
president did you see the same thing That Attorney thomas this.

Speaker 13 (01:37:17):
Mission, Yeah i'm watching from a. Distance i've been seeing
the antics and it's quite. Interesting and he AND i
have talked about the the uh the lieutenant governor and
what she represents and if she's still Championing. Maga the

(01:37:41):
Black maga thing is is real and as far AS
i can't vote In, virginia and this is not an
endorsement for, anybody but we've seen What maga has done
to not just The United, states people of, Color latinos
and lesbian. People everybody has been hit by this rage and,

(01:38:07):
uh she supports that. Rage so If virginia is ready for,
that then everybody else in the world is going to
be having some challenges moving. Forward BUT i am hopeful That,
virginia the mother of, president can can make sure that
a a mother is elected to the position of.

Speaker 1 (01:38:28):
Governor all right after Top atlanta has most of you
fellows this question about The New york. Race that's another
key race of people to be. Watching. Uh FOR Us Attorney,
thomas how do you see this one rolling?

Speaker 5 (01:38:40):
Out New york race is going to be very important
for a lot of. Reasons you see that the old Style, democrat,
uh you, know which is one of my. FEARS a
lot Of, democrats including are soon to be potential, Governor
they have a tendency to go back to the based.

(01:39:00):
Programming and for for White, americans the base programming is white.
Supremacy and that's not not the the the overt white
supremacy of the ku Klus plan and those type of,
people but that you, know they're they're the arrogance that
they have the ability and desire that they should be in.
Control and you see that with With Andrew. Cuomo here's

(01:39:21):
a guy completely disgraced for some of the things that he's.
Done and Now Donald trump is out there Endorsing Andrew.
CUOMO i think the race In New york will be
very important from the standpoint of putting a seeing new
leadership in The Democratic. PARTY a lot Of, democrats a
lot Of democrats are not happy with the current leadership

(01:39:43):
or The Democratic. PARTY i think they're too, old too
out of, touch and too. Timid AND i think that
this election In New york may set the tone for
some changes in The Democratic, party more people challenging the
current leadership of The Democratic party and having The Democratic
party moved to a more aggressive uh uh and side

(01:40:05):
that looks at the people and not at the. Institutions
The Democratic party has become you, know, uh you, know
lobbyists and corporate money has become their new, thing and
they've moved away from my belief taking care and looking
at the people and caught instead of being caught on
several controversial.

Speaker 1 (01:40:27):
Issues all, right, TWELVE i have the top Of Family.
Voice you just heard his, Attorney Phillip. Thomas he's From Lowden,
County president of Lowd county in doua A cp summarizing,
basically what's the problem with The. Democrats so let me
Ask Willie, flowers he's president Of Howard county in DOUBLE.
Acp And, willie do you agree with what you what
your are? YOU a?

Speaker 13 (01:40:45):
Fellow guests, said, well, WELL I i agree with with
with most of. IT i just DON'T i don't think
that anybody Wants New york to be the example for
their entire. Country BUT i do think that aggressive campaigning
has become a thing of the. Past AND i think this, this,

(01:41:08):
this this young man really got into the grassroots and
and created a. MOVEMENT i think that's necessary as far
as his. Policies you, know everybody can't be Like New.
York BUT i do believe that The Democratic party has
has challenges in that we we left the grassroots. ALONE

(01:41:29):
i don't know why that is a party that used
to be known, for, uh you, know pulling people out
of the grassroots and doing aggressive grassroots campaigns and being
in the. STREETS i don't see that. Anymore it's more
of this super voter knock on the you, know the
most consistent voter, doors and you're you, know that's that's

(01:41:51):
not gonna win. Anymore and from WHAT i can see
about his, campaign he you, know he went and you,
know he went to you, know you, know he elicited
a grassroots campaign and it worked for, him AND i
hope that he can win on. THAT i certainly believe
what Brother thompson said about this, uh you, know Stagnant Democratic. Party,

(01:42:15):
uh it is time for a. Change it's time for
the more senior people to see the value of young
people and the needs of the next twenty years.

Speaker 5 (01:42:23):
And not the last.

Speaker 13 (01:42:24):
Fifty and that's that's the. Reality and it just happens
that because we have so few uh governor's races and
this kind of thing at this, time That New york
stands out right. Now So I'm i'm hopeful that he
can be some inspiration to the rest of the young
people in The Democratic party so that this thing can

(01:42:46):
look better moving.

Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
Forward all.

Speaker 1 (01:42:48):
Right FIFTY a top Money mike has joined us From
balton to talk about The New York City Bay Old
Races online three Gan Rising Money Money Bike around with
Attorney Phillip thomas and Also Willie.

Speaker 14 (01:42:59):
Flowers good, morning, gentlemen how y'all.

Speaker 5 (01:43:03):
Doing how you?

Speaker 13 (01:43:06):
Doing?

Speaker 14 (01:43:07):
Okay i'm doing. GREAT i Think mo'donmie will. Win but
the problem with The Democratic, party if you're, honest is
that they have nothing to give. Away and he's gonna
run into the same problem up In New, york the
state that has a law that says you can only
raise taxes so. Much so all of the PROGRAMS i

(01:43:28):
agree that they're, needed but how can he fund? Them
so they're gonna run into a. Wall he's gonna come up,
short and it's gonna be the same thing. Again that's
why he. Won it is because he's promising to give everything.
Away and there's no way that that Establishment democratic Or
republican In New york is gonna support. That there's no.

(01:43:49):
Way SO i believe that The Democratic party they've lost
their way because at one time they had unions to
support their, campaigns and unfortunately most of the unions have
left and now they have to go where the money.
Is and we gotta admit our group of people generally don't.
Know they don't give to. Elections they don't get the,

(01:44:09):
campaign so they can't buy that. Way they haven't learned
how to play the. System you end have to pay
your official, bomb rent, them or lease. Them and we
don't do any of those three, things. Gentlemen And i'll
take your response out.

Speaker 1 (01:44:21):
There thank.

Speaker 3 (01:44:23):
You i'll tell you.

Speaker 1 (01:44:24):
What let's we gotta take a quick break and we come.
Back i'll let you fellas, SAY i know you want
to respond to. It Money mike, said it sort of
dissolution with The Democratic. Party. Family what are your thoughts
about The Democratic party on the election day? Today reach
out to us at eight hundred four or five zero
seventy eight to seventy. SIX i won't take all your
phone calls next And Grand rising, family thanks to sticking
with us on This tuesday election day In. America and

(01:44:45):
the polls are already open on The east coast and
somewhere in The middlewest of something for those that are
opening up right now as we, SPEAK i guess this.
Morning Philip thomas is an. Attorney he's the president of
The Louden COUNTY naacp and Also Willie flowers who's the
president of The Howard COUNTY. Naacpm before we left the
break were speaking with Money mine out Of, baltimore and
he says he sort of dissolution and the fact that

(01:45:07):
we don't have financial support to get our issues across
the goal. Line if you, Will, SO i know you
fellows want to respond to, First i'll give A Tony
thomas the first. Bat.

Speaker 5 (01:45:20):
Yeah you, know we have a whole election here In
virginia to seemingly run on one, issue which is you,
know THE lbgtq bathroom. Issue and The democrats have you,
know championed this issue and made this and none of. That,
also you, know reproductive rights at the top of their.
Lists you, know they've gotten away from what people worry

(01:45:41):
about here In, virginia things, like you, know we got bad,
traffic we got we got taxes that people want. Change
we've got you, know living In virginia for An African
american is different than a white white. Person some, education
from a housing, standpoint from. Jobs you, know we have
people that are being laid off and there's no talk

(01:46:02):
of how they're going to fix these problems and address these.
Issues it's all been these cultural issues that are very
slanted away from what people really want to talk about
and meet people want to do when they listen to
the top ten. Issues the things that The democrats talk
about are not in those top, ten not tie on
those top ten. Issues so we need people like The

(01:46:25):
dominie AND i Hope i'm not saying his name, wrong
who are getting back to the grassroots issues and talking
about things that are impacting. People and that's one of
the ISSUES i think we've got probably have with The Democratic.
Party they've moved away from that and now we're seeing
the impact of.

Speaker 1 (01:46:41):
That all, Right, willie your, THOUGHTS i.

Speaker 13 (01:46:46):
Think Money mike's perspective is fairly. CYNICAL i don't think
that the effort TO i embrace community should be first and.
Always SO i think if we did, that if if
we held elected officials accountable in their, campaigning because there's

(01:47:07):
a difference between campaigning and elections and. Governing SO i
think there's realistic things that you can campaign for if
you are in touch and in tune with the, people
because you know your campaign is to get them to,
uh you, know support and vote you vote for, You
so if you're in touch with, them you know exactly
what you need to do when you get an, office

(01:47:28):
so you don't need this expectation of the big. Money
if if you're in touch with the, people AND i,
think you, know we've seen races like this throughout you know,
history AND I i just, DON'T i don't give up
to the fact that you have to have a billion
dollars to run a race if you are in touch

(01:47:48):
and in tune with the people and their. Needs AND
i want TO i want to especially comment on What
President thompson explained, about, uh you, know stepping away from
bread and butter. ISSUES i, mean that's what this is all.
ABOUT i mean, this this, uh this friction right now

(01:48:09):
going on with the, government uh shutdown is speaking specifically
about people losing their jobs and not being able to you,
know feed their, family not not being able to do
all the things that are necessary and and that should not.
Happen and, again if if our, party The Democratic party

(01:48:31):
was then touching in tune with, people we wouldn't be
we wouldn't be in this, situation.

Speaker 5 (01:48:37):
All.

Speaker 1 (01:48:37):
Right family twenty four after the top they are With
Philip thompson and also really flowers at both officials of NA.

Speaker 5 (01:48:43):
A C.

Speaker 1 (01:48:44):
P avena is an attorney from Lownd county And willie
From Howard. County has got to know here from from
one of our listeners Of Karen, hunter who does a
talk show On Cerrus. Exam she was going to a
polling place and then all of a sudden there was
a bomb. Threat she was going to vote in a black.
Neighborhood so they've closed that voting, uh those those voting,

(01:49:05):
pools and told she she has to go to another.
One but this is coming in right. Now this is
sending to another polling place because the schools have been
threatened with bomb. Threads they just take place In New
New jersey this. Morning SO i just wanted to get
everybody praised to what's going on with some of these these,
antiques these shenanigans to keep folks from voting eight hundred
and four or five zero seventy eight to seventy. Six

(01:49:27):
to speak to our, GUESTS i mentioned both officials of THE.
Naacp mike In, WASHINGTON dc wants you to join the.
Conversation he's online one Grand Rising mike you With Attorney
Phillip thompson and Also Willie, Flowers.

Speaker 10 (01:49:39):
Grand, Rising Mister, Nelson Mister kevin and to your. Guests
the situation In New, york, Men donnie will win In New,
york the problem is that they're going to run into
economic problems Because Donald trump is going to block he's
already blocking funds for construction stuff like, that but. Allocated
he's not going to support socials and. Communism he's not

(01:49:59):
going to do, that all, Right so you're gonna give everything.
Free so what happens that you can't tax the rich too?
Much because what happens, that Like, california they vacated and
ran out Of, california ran To florida And. Texas so
The New yorkers are gonna run and leave there to
go To North carolina and go To. Florida so if
you don't have the risk to tax where you're gonna

(01:50:20):
get your money from If Donald trup's not giving you.
Money the situation In, virginia The Lady stanburgh will win
in THAT i said that not addressing the, issues the economic,
issues you're running on a lot of civil rights. Stuff
so what happens that you, know you're not really running.
On you, Know, Virginia Northern, virginia there's a hub for government,

(01:50:41):
workers so a lot of people are out of work
and then you go down to the southern part In
norfolk and stuff like. That it's, okay they're still doing
ship building and stuff, that but the economy is not as.
Strong but the contomy is doing really well right, now
stock market and all that kind of. Stuff but what
happened To Howard? County you's ball location of the. Day
The Attorney, general y'all know what happened? There is what

(01:51:03):
happens that they gave into The trumps uh demands of
ice and uh they WILL i, KNOW i they will
LET i know when it somebody be a release that's
wanted on a. Warrant so they eventually gave into. That
so it's gonna be very interesting to see.

Speaker 5 (01:51:19):
What is gonna.

Speaker 10 (01:51:20):
Happen and it's gonna happen uh in the next two
years when the mid terms of stuff coming. Up so
thank you guts for being on this.

Speaker 1 (01:51:26):
Morning all, right Thanks. Mike all, Right, counseling you want
to respond to What mike said for?

Speaker 5 (01:51:31):
Us you, know first, Off. California anybody that Knows, California
california the sixth largest economy in the. World so whoever
moved out Of california didn't really Impact california's. Economy h
Where california is located kind of business To. Californias Do california's?
Fine people talk About california like it's the like it's
the some sort of bad place to. Live but, again

(01:51:56):
if it was an, individual press would be the sixth
largest economy in the. World So california's.

Speaker 11 (01:52:01):
Fine.

Speaker 5 (01:52:02):
Uh people moving out Of New york yeah. Right you
Know New york Is New york for a. Reason, uh
it's a financial hub of the. World, uh it's it's
a trading. Area it's lots of things going down In New.
York uh that that that an a pulse of this.
Country SO i don't see all this abandonment Of New York,
city uh from all people running Into. Florida you, know

(01:52:25):
Most New yorkers go down To. Florida they'll be back real. Quick.
Uh florida is A florida is a is a very
interesting place to try to live if you've been In
New yorker as far as you, know here In Loudon,
COUNTY i can't think On Howard, county but In Loudun
county and then The commonwealth Of virginia, again you, know
the bread and butter issues are not being addressed by this. Election.

(01:52:46):
Uh Abigail spamberger is what we would call a middle
of the road. DEMOCRAT i USED i have coined the
term republican. Light her, whole her whole career has been
uh you, know playing this moderate, cards as they call.
It and generally when people play the moderate, card minorities
and poor people are generally gonna be left out of the. Equation.

(01:53:08):
Uh so that's What i'm going to see In. Virginia
it's going to be interesting to see A General assembly
that's being led by WHAT i would call it two Progressive,
democrats one of Them African. American uh uh Don Scott.
House it'll be interesting to see how they Plays abigail's

(01:53:31):
campaign Because abigail is going to be very conservative and
play middle of the road and not pay attention to
issues that are, IMPORTANT i believe To African. Americans so
we'll see how this all plays. OUT i think it's
going to be a very tough four years In virginia
that we've seen before With Governor northam And governor, mccaulliff

(01:53:52):
Where African american issues were left on the.

Speaker 13 (01:53:54):
Table all, Right, WELL i want TO i want to
comment there because we see that trend everywhere with what
he calls moderate of middle Road. Democrats and you, know
we've had this thing Since Bill.

Speaker 5 (01:54:08):
Clinton but here's the.

Speaker 13 (01:54:09):
Thing i'm sure you have a black caucus In. Virginia
it's like we have one in the state Of. Maryland
and the black caucus need to do black. Stuff you,
know everybody has something on the. TABLE i heard him
earlier talk about how social issues are you, know distractions or. Whatever,

(01:54:33):
WELL i believe that you can make you, know key
economic issues and balance them out with issues that are.
Significant the reality is that the black caucuses everywhere should
be advocating for black. People you, know this thing about
jobs and justice goes hand in. Hand if people have,

(01:54:54):
jobs they don't do. Crime SO i think THAT i,
THINK i like that our elected offishers should be able
to create a black agenda wherever they. ARE i don't
call themselves a black. Caucus this this notion he calls.

Speaker 5 (01:55:10):
Them the white people.

Speaker 13 (01:55:11):
Moderates, well we have this thing with black folks that
people are calling blue coconuts where they're black on outside
and do democratic agenda and white agendas when they get into, office.

Speaker 5 (01:55:23):
And that needs to.

Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
Stop got you twenty nine minutes that you have to
follow the fund counselor.

Speaker 5 (01:55:31):
You, know you look at our our elected officials here In,
virginia they you, know if you look at their campaign,
contributions it's all big time corporate. Money so you, know
money talks and everything else. Walks like you said, earlier
we don't fund the. Campaigns we don't play in the money.
Game and so who you think they're going to be

(01:55:51):
a bolden to when it comes time for sometimes for,
Legislation they're going to go with the people that supported.
Them so we you, know we complain about our elected
officials just like we complain about OUR HBCUs being, underfunded
and we don't even we don't participate in the money.
Game and so if you don't participate in the money,
game you're gonna be you, know you're going to. Be

(01:56:13):
you're not gonna be sitting at the, Table you're gonna
be on the. Tables part of the. Menu figured this
spot out.

Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
Having said, THAT i have a tweet question from both
of your. Fellas the tweeter says that Money mike's questions
spoke to the deliverables after the, Election should Mon donnie
win In New, york not the cost of the. Campaign
and it goes on to say where will the money
to deliver his promises come? From that requires a viable
financial plan to produce the deliverables that he's. Promised and

(01:56:42):
they were going to get a response from both of, you.
Fellas we'll start With Tourning thompson.

Speaker 5 (01:56:46):
First, yeah that's gonna be that's going to ultimately be a.
Problem but you, know money can be redirected from from
different programs some of the things that he talks. About,
ALSO i, mean you know a lot of people pay
attention to what he's you, know to the quote unquote socialist,
part but a lot of things he talks, about like
ensuring that small vendors can get, applications fixing the housing

(01:57:10):
opened up housing for additional. People these are issues on
the ground that are very. Important and the second a
politician starts talking about the issues on the, ground the
media and his opponents will cherry pick one thing that
person may stay and try to define them by that
one statement or by that one program or. POLICY i

(01:57:30):
think that what is an improvement on the ground In
New york for people that are really left out of the? Equation,
Uh AND i think that's that's that's what's going to
be more. Important he's of course it's going to have money.
Issues trump is going to try The trump is going
to retaliate because that's what he. Does but you know
it Is New York city and that place is not.

(01:57:51):
Poor you know they've got they've got funds for for
a lot of different. Things and hopefully he will be
smart enough in his budgeting to redirect the, money redirect
some money to to to these issues and ensure that
everybody's got a chance in this in this. Country that's
the problem in this country is that we are we
are picking and choosing who has a chance to secede

(01:58:14):
in this. Country and we know the, problems the real,
problems and we know the real, issues and we know
a lot of it is putting people in the position
where they can succede in this economy and succeed in this.
World and that's WHAT i think The democrats have gotten
away from chasing after these cultural issues and chasing after corporate.
Money all, right.

Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
Twenty sixth away from top will are your? THOUGHTS i just.

Speaker 13 (01:58:38):
DON'T i just believe that governing is different than. CAMPAIGNING i,
mean he won the. Election you, know they made him
into to this. PARIAH i don't think he's. That, AGAIN
i think that he would not have been elected if
he was so far to the left that it's. Insane you,
know when we're, starting you, know we're talking like he's

(01:59:00):
he's going to. Win AND i think that he's a
better option than than In, cuomo, obviously BUT i think
that you, know he's he's an, executive but still he
has to have a budget passed by the city, council
and so you, know there's got to be a. Balance
i'm sure he'll make reasonable decisions to build the, city

(01:59:21):
to get a few wins for himself and for his,
agenda BUT i don't think he'll be so far to
the to the left that it would be uh making
people Leave New York, city the most significant city in the.
World SO i wish him. Luck you see wins, tonight
AND i think that he'll you, know be smart enough
to have people around him that are professional, enough these

(01:59:46):
experts that he can you, know have have, wins build that,
city not not lose, anything but look look toward trying
to build something For New york that we haven't seen.

Speaker 1 (01:59:58):
Before and twenty five away from the. Top kareem is
checking in From baltimore's On line Three Grand. Rising kareema
on With Attorney Phillip thompson and Also Willie.

Speaker 15 (02:00:07):
Flowers Hey, pee how y'all. DOING i just have a.
Question i'm trying to figure out. This the man That
mandanni is a is a is a citizen of The United. States,
yes we keep trying to name this man or communists
and the. SOCIALIST i just don't think that us using
those words to describe a citizen that are winking for

(02:00:29):
citizens is, productive that that that creates a problem in understanding.
This we use those type of, Words SO i just
want TO i just want to have that be addressed
in terms of understanding of what we're trying to do
here in this.

Speaker 1 (02:00:47):
Country all, right let's ask the attorney, First Philip. Thompson
are those words scared tactics being used by THE gop
to get people make people afraid to vote For? Donnie?

Speaker 5 (02:01:03):
Yeah you know. That you, know THE gop is notorious
for getting on messaging and when they pick up a,
message they all hammered away and then they get their
little mouthpieces On Fox news and other in the right
wing media to pair everything they say and it's like
a group of parents that say the same thing over
and over. Again and, unfortunately because of The jedi, mind

(02:01:26):
trick has a tendency to work on certain people because
they want to. Believe, now the gentleman has at times
referred to himself as a, socialist but anyone that has
any kind of understanding of, politics the geopolitics understands that
there's difference between a socialist and a. Communist but in this,
country we still want to run back to, communism, communism,

(02:01:49):
communism you, know like we're in the nineteen fifties or.
Something this is a different world that you've got the
biggest economics seem to be the biggest economic power in
their country running on stone cold, capitalism the quote unquote Communist.
Chinese So, russia you, know which was quote unquote communist

(02:02:10):
state is a capitalist. State so you, know communism isn't
the beast that it once. Was but you, know people
love to put put labels on on on different things
and try to try to Ensure, heck we just had
a vice president over in quote unquote Communist vietnam cutting
deals with so called Communists.

Speaker 1 (02:02:30):
Vietnam so, right hold out right, there count so we
got to step aside for a few. Moments how let
you finish your thought on the other, side twenty two
minutes away from the top dayn family the. Voice you
heard That Attorney Phillip, thompson he's From Lowden county And,
virginia is head of THE naacp, there and Also Willie
flown's head of THE naacp In Howard counties with us
this morning discussing today's. Elections what are your? Thoughts you

(02:02:52):
want to jump in on this. Conversation hit us up
at eight hundred four five zero seventy eight to seventy
six and we'll take your phone calls next and a,
family thanks for staying with us on This tuesday morning
election day In. America we have two guests from THE
naacp with. Us we Have Attorney Philip, thompson he's from
The Lowden county NAACP's the president. There Also Willie flowers

(02:03:12):
from The Howard COUNTY NAACP. Befo i'll go back to the.
Elements remind you come up later this. Morning we're going
to speak With queen Of. Four queen Of, four you
know best of THE i know all the sisters Know
queen of The. Fourth some of you fellows should know
About queen of The four as. Well she's been around
quite a bit and best known for her Books Healed.
Thyself so she's a spiritual. Healer so we're going to
talk to. Her i'm coming up later this. Week we're

(02:03:32):
going to have a conversation that Became Mitologist Tony browner
will be here along with sixty civil rights. Activists that
Doctor Paul smith will join. Us so if you're In,
baltimore make sure you keep it ready a lockted and
tight on ten TEN, wlb or if you're in THE
dmv around fourteen fifteen W. L all, Right Attorney, Thompson
i'll let you finish your. Thought responding to Money mike's, questions,
well you, know.

Speaker 5 (02:03:53):
We were talking about labeling The downie up In New York,
city and you know socialist and, communists and you, know
LIKE i, said he's used the term socialism in the,
past but there's a difference between being a socialism and.
Communists and we as a country deal with. Communists, china
we deal with, Communists, vietnam we deal with other other

(02:04:14):
other regimes that are not what we call. Democratic so you,
know for for the for the you, Know trump and
the government say they're not going to deal with this
guy is just you know uh, uh you, Know trump
Being trump and and trying to you, know act like
the Great White father that he's that he's that he has.
BECOME i think what's important for for For New yorkers

(02:04:37):
is to look at what's going to happen on the
ground and what changes are occurring that allow everybody to
have a slice of The american pie and to help
everybody improve their station in this. Country that's what we
used to be, about, uh in this country at, least you,
know that was the whole concept of the civil rights
movement and and and changes that occurred with you, know

(02:04:58):
social programs to help everybody have an opportunity to. Succeed.
Uh you, know it doesn't work all the time for,
everybody but lots of people uh probably your your, guests
and myself and your and you have, all you, know
benefited from from changes that we've. Seen and we hope
that that a lot of that occurs In New York, city,
uh and that they can get you, know Improved New

(02:05:19):
york through the station of All New yorkers.

Speaker 1 (02:05:21):
And not just a, few All, right fifteen away from the.
Champion let's go to take some calls for your fellows
in the interest of. Time tyrone is calling From baltimore
is online one Grand, Rising, tyrone your Attorney Phllip thompson
and Also Willie flowers from THE nba C. P It's tyrone.

Speaker 16 (02:05:43):
There one min.

Speaker 5 (02:05:44):
Trick, yeah go, Ahead, yeah go. AHEAD i just want
to say you take it away to see what it
don't know The jedi mind trick only works on week
by the, People, okay Man, GOD i did want to
act uh in regards to first of, ALL i think
that people ARE i want to see if you guys
agree with. Me people see to confuse uh socialism form of,

(02:06:04):
government socialism in an economic, system, okay and uh and
and And i'll you know. That and we we already
have socialism in this. Country we Social we have solis
for the, rich all. Right we socialized their. Losses in
regard to, uh what happened with the, crack the housing,
crash we socialized their losses and we capitalize their. Gains

(02:06:25):
if people don't realize that. Stuff AND i like to
get you guys opell you about. That and uh uh
one more thing And i'll get. Off we had two socialist,
parties uh in one communist party in this country at the,
time a new, deal and that's why it was uh
that's why that's why a lot of pressures throw On
john UH i rose about the passes and addition to labor.

Speaker 11 (02:06:46):
Units that are around at that.

Speaker 5 (02:06:47):
Time thank, You, TOM i was listening.

Speaker 1 (02:06:49):
Off there all, right thanks To will you want to
tackle that?

Speaker 13 (02:06:53):
Question, YEAH i just think that it was just an
attack to scare, people and that's. On that's common and.
Politics but as everybody's, explained socialism is a part OF i,
mean public education can be criticized as being, socialist the
right for a counsel that could be criticized for being.

(02:07:14):
SOCIALISTS i, mean there's a lot of things that can
be the fact that we drive on highways every day
that could be criticized for being socialist because everybody has.
It but every piece that we're calling socialists adds to
us having better, lives better. Opportunities the fact that we
have public education allows people not to be you, know

(02:07:38):
going to prison for during. Crime it gives people outlet
for their. Creativity if they have, challenges the hope that
is that public education offers them the accommodations that they
need so they can be productive. Citizens SO i think
that when they attack based on that kind of, nonsense
we have to show every time the response, is this
is what socialism looks. Like if you want to criticize,

(02:08:01):
it this is what it. Delivers and again we're talking
about these challenges with The Democratic, party AND i agree
with some of, them but we have to be more.
Vigilant you, know the reason that The republicans are conservatives
of whatever they call, them black mags are having a
good day is because they're in. Power that's the only.

(02:08:25):
Reason but if we balance that with what historically has
been the benefit of, supporting you, know more progressive whatever
you call liberal civil rights agendas and how that has
impacted the economy of this, country we'll be reminded of
why we supported these policies in the first. Place and

(02:08:46):
that's not what's happening, here all, right to have away.

Speaker 1 (02:08:50):
From the top Of tina's checking in from the district's
online three Grand ris And, tina you're on With Philip
thompson And, Ulso Willie.

Speaker 9 (02:08:56):
Flapp Grand, rising.

Speaker 17 (02:08:59):
Everybody my question goes back To.

Speaker 9 (02:09:03):
Virginia what's going on in the governor's.

Speaker 18 (02:09:06):
Race and my comment, is HOW i guess they're Demon
island Using spanburger for you, know being aligned with the
lieutenant governor and his negative comments that he said about
the lady and killing her child or. Whatever i'm trying

(02:09:29):
to figure out why didn't The spanburger campaign come back
with a negative comment About Earl fears and she with
a rifle in her, hands saying it's an abortion or.
Whatever they're considered murders and she will make sure that
they get murdered.

Speaker 9 (02:09:49):
Too to, me they're both negative.

Speaker 18 (02:09:52):
Comments and that's what they should have. Done they should
have come back on these commercials showing this woman with
this rifle in her. Hand And i'm not saying because
Both sanberg And earl. Serious they both have military backgrounds
and they both you, know think a certain. Way the
just being in the, military especially being a, marine a

(02:10:12):
lot of them have been brainwashed over the. Years but,
Anyway i'm gonna leave that conversation.

Speaker 8 (02:10:18):
Alone BUT i just don't have to make that.

Speaker 18 (02:10:19):
Comment thank, you all?

Speaker 1 (02:10:21):
Right Thanks. Tina all, right, counsel you want to tackle that.
One you're In virginia.

Speaker 5 (02:10:26):
From sort of laughing Because i'm a marine, myself so
Maybe i've been. Brainwashed but, ANYWAY i will say this
THAT i think that the campaigns For Abigail samberg's campaign
missed a whole lot of points that they could have
really been hammered away at the at the at The,

(02:10:47):
republicans you, know one of them being that you, know
there was no pushback from The attorney, General republican attorney,
general The republican candidate on what happened On january, sixth
and even less of a pushback or When trump paroled
or all of the pardon all of the insurrectionists and

(02:11:09):
traders that attacked our. Capital to, me that was a
defining moment in this. Country to see these people bringing
their hillbilly ways To, washington d. C and trying to
overthrow our government and have you, know people while to
do that without any punishment or you know that were

(02:11:30):
pardoned as if they were some sort of patriots modern day.
Patriots is just. Ridiculous in both The attorney, general our
attorney general and lieutenant governor set on their hands and
put tape over their mouth and never said anything about.
This so for them to show this outreak over twenty
twenty two texts it's just, ridiculous and they should have

(02:11:52):
she should have came back pretty, strong and she shouldn't
have abandoned the attorney general Candidate Jay jones like she
did a lot Of democrats. Did but, that's you, know
that's just how this. WORKS i don't know if you
remember what happened to our previous black attorney, general how
he was ltched by the media and the politicians and

(02:12:13):
not giving any kind of due process based on some
claims made against. Them things happen to black politicians that
are different than what happens to white politicians in this,
country whether They're democrats Or. Republicans and that's just the
way life. Operates and because black voters don't owe people
accountable for going after our black, candidates they can do

(02:12:35):
this and still have black voters lined up ninety percent
behind them and vote the men by just, saying, Hey
i'm Not Donald trump Or i'm not The Megan and
that's how this. Works.

Speaker 18 (02:12:45):
Unfortunately, well the only thing with Gerrol sins is THAT i,
MEAN i don't WANT i would IF i was A virginia,
RESIDENT i would never vote for, her.

Speaker 10 (02:12:55):
Just by her.

Speaker 18 (02:12:56):
Statement she Supports trump's, Policies so she would be vooted
just for. THAT i know a lot of people for
other reasons why it wouldn't vote for, her which some
of them is really. Silly but just the reasoning is
she saying out of her, mouth you KNOW i support his. Policies,
yeah because she's. Brainwashed as far from WHAT i, understand

(02:13:16):
she changed to be A republican based on what's Something GEORGE.
H bush said back in the nineteen Eighty so, yeah
that's my dilemma with. Her thank you for the.

Speaker 5 (02:13:27):
Comments thank. You, ALSO i just want to say real
quick that THAT i don't think people are. Brainwashed they
just have their. POSITIONS i, know, wins seers and win
some good, people but you, know we just don't agree
on a lot of on a lot of political and social,
issues on how she how she sees the world and
HOW i see the. World BUT i don't Think whin

(02:13:49):
some's a bad. Person she she did say That trump
should not have run for, elections and that's why he
took so long in supporting. Her her and that's why
she couldn't raise a lot of money within The Republican
party because she originally Opposed, trump but she had to
get in line in order to get the money and
to get the. Support and it is what it. Is you,

(02:14:11):
know you just have to do these. Things you have
to do all.

Speaker 1 (02:14:17):
Flows you want to make a comment.

Speaker 13 (02:14:19):
Now i'm just gonna say that that gun holding madness
plays to a certain demographic In virginia and other southern.
States i'll Say, maryland you, know so she wouldn't have
done it had it not been beneficial to. Her the
same thing with Supporting Donald. Trump But i'll say this

(02:14:40):
to you that holding that gun is disrespectful to people
who who were At Virginia tech years. Ago when when
when a young man walked in the same school with
a gun the same way and killed a bunch of.
People so that's the disrespect that it comes when you're
using that type of symbol in a political. Campaign so
since sends a very horrible. Message as far As i'm,

(02:15:03):
CONCERNED i don't care how good she is as a,
person her as as a as a person campaigning for
one of the largest states in the in the. Country
it's highly disrespectful and it overlooks the pain that people
went through At Virginia.

Speaker 1 (02:15:17):
Tech got you five away from the. Top quibana is
checking in from DC's online, One Grand, Rising are you
on With Tony Philip thompson, though so we really flows
both members of THE.

Speaker 16 (02:15:27):
Naacp, Yeah Grand rise And Brother clacy and your. Guests
i'm Hoping i'm not confusing the. Subject BUT i think
the lady that was just on was questioning and correct
me If i'm, wrong questioning whether Span berger did does
have a commercial Showing Earl Winston earl see is holding

(02:15:50):
the rifle and saying murder will come to. You, uh
if you were for. Abortion they do have a commercial
out for. That SO i don't know If i'm confusing the,
subject BUT i thought the lady was, saying was questioning
WHY i didn't Span burger have a uh a commercial showing,
uh and she?

Speaker 11 (02:16:07):
Does they?

Speaker 5 (02:16:07):
Do they do show that. Commercial uh, yeah so my,
Correct i'm on the right track here by letting you
guys know THAT i haven't followed all of.

Speaker 11 (02:16:17):
Them. Yeah, yeah, yeah they definitely they start showing it
probably in this last. Week uh it is a, commercial.
Yep BECAUSE i was in response, to, Uh spansburger Supporting Jay,
JONES i guess the uh, uh well There's Attorney, GENERAL
i guess Of virginia and the unfortunate comments that he

(02:16:38):
made about you, know wanting to kill you, know uh the,
opponent so and so on and so. Forth so Span
burger's campaign definitely does have a commercial out now Showing
Earl seals uh Uh Winston Earl seals carrying a rifle
and saying murder will come to you if you if
you were for. Abortion so that commercial is. Out SO

(02:16:59):
i wanted to let the no, that, yeah they do
have that commercial out for Span berg's. Campaign so that
was ALL i wanted to let you, know.

Speaker 1 (02:17:07):
All right and thank, you and we've got to step
aside for a few. MONTHS i let the fellas respond
to you your comment after three minutes away from the
top of our, family we've got to step aside so
our stations can identify themselves down the. Line we come
back with our guest, Attorney Phillip thompson and Also Willy
flowers to both members of THE, naacp what are your?
Thoughts hit us up at eight hundred four five zero
seventy eight seventy six what he calls next and grand rising.

(02:17:30):
Family we're speaking With Philip thompson from he's the president
of the Lownd COUNTY, naacps an attorney Also Willie flowers
as the president of The Howard COUNTY. Nbacp so these
civil rights brothers are tackling what's going on, today today's elections.
Day AND i had a quote from you a tweet.
ROLLER i wanted to know if The democrats made a
mistake by attaching themselves to THE lgbtq, community to their.

(02:17:53):
Community do they make a mistake by attaching themselves to.

Speaker 13 (02:17:55):
That that's, Absurd that's completely. Absurd everybody deserves, rights civil
rights and everything. ELSE i think the conversation was about
campaigning on. IT i, mean whether you can and specifically
campaigning on issues about you, know, bathrooms and that's what,

(02:18:16):
again that's one of those criticisms that. Come nothing is
happening in any bathrooms to. Anybody SO i think that
when people ask those types of questions they. MISUNDERSTAND i
should be reminded that everybody deserves due. Process everybody deserves
civil rights in this. Country it's no different from for
white people or black, PEOPLE lgbtq, People. Latina everybody deserves

(02:18:41):
civil rights and everybody has a right to exist in this.
Country that's absurd to.

Speaker 1 (02:18:46):
Me All, RIGHT i let you fellas, Go Tony, thompson
anything you want to leave us with before we let
you guys.

Speaker 5 (02:18:52):
Go, yeah you, KNOW i just want to stay on that.
ISSUE i think that there's too much emphasis on, it you,
KNOW lbgtq make, up you, know such a small percentage
of the. POPULATION i think that they should be, Protected
there's no doubt about. It AND i think that you,
know organizations that are like like THE, naacp you, know
should be, also you, know protecting anybody's civil. Rights but

(02:19:15):
we got to get back in this country And i'm,
Sorry i'm what we call referred to as a black.
Nationalist we got to get back, to you, know making
sure that our issues get on the agenda every. Election
and this is one In virginia where they rolled out
WHO i call soul brother number One Black obama at
the end of the game to you, know Inspire African

(02:19:36):
americans to come out to vote every time the election
gets you, know we tried to Get African american issues
on the table early in the game and Get abigail
and Even winston both to campaign Toward African, americans and
everybody Ignored African americans till the. End now all you
see on social. Media from The republican side Is black
conservatives OR ai conservatives THAT i call, them pushing for

(02:20:01):
voting For winsome and then you pull out Soul brother
number one and sold to the polls and all this other.
Stuff Get African americans out to. Vote we come, out
and we save, elections especially for The. Democrats we determine
elections here In. Virginia when they we. Didn't we don't come,
out you get mccauliff. Losing when we come, out you
Get northern. Winning you're probably gonna See abigail. Win and

(02:20:23):
a big part of her win is gonna Because African
americans have come out and heavy numbers and supported. Her
but then when it comes time for you, know our
issues to be addressed and legislative sessions and, whatnot we
go to the back to the back of the, bus
and our issues on. Address we still have people dying
in jails and records not being. Expunged although we've got

(02:20:45):
a marijuana build marijuana law now allows that makes marijuana,
illegal we don't expunge records and all these things that
impact our community that never are the senior focus of
even our black. Politicians so you, know we need to
get back to ensuring that our end to those stays
at the. Top we know why The Civil Rights Acts
acts were. Passed they weren't passed For asian, immigrants white.

(02:21:09):
Females they were passed favorite passed to fix some of
the wrongs of recurring to the black. Community and we've
allowed our agenda to get your surped and we need
to get back and focus on what's important for The
black community and hold our black politicians and the white
politicians that steal our votes or take our, votes we
need to hold them all accountable and make sure that

(02:21:29):
they're addressing our issues all without a.

Speaker 1 (02:21:32):
Doubt all, right thank you, fellers thank you for sharing
your thoughts with us tom this. Morning we'll all be
watching the returns come in tomorrow and then we can
have another. Conversation but thank. You Attorney Phillip thompson has just,
heard and Also Willie, flowers both members of THE, naacp
thank you for joining us this.

Speaker 5 (02:21:48):
Morning thank you and look look forward to coming. Back
thank you all righty.

Speaker 1 (02:21:53):
Family five after the top of The queen Of foo,
Speaks Grand lights And Hotel queen Of, fool welcome back
to the.

Speaker 9 (02:22:00):
Program thank you so much for having me and if
we ever.

Speaker 1 (02:22:04):
Needed A queen Of, food this is the time that
we need. Her, fellows those of you who are unfamiliar
With queen Of, Food she's an, author alternative medicine, practitioner
a wellness, coach and similar. Clients many of our clients
are some of the most famous people that you would.
Know i'm not going to call our, names but if
she wants, to she can tell us who they. Are
But queen Of, four you see what's going on in

(02:22:24):
the country. Today we need a person like you as
a wellness. Coach how do you navigate through all the
stuff that's going on because we've never seen stuff like this.

Speaker 9 (02:22:34):
Before, actually we are now in nineteen fifty fighting again
for life and liberty in. Truth so we have actually
gone backwards as opposed to going. Forward this whole concept
of Making america. Great when Was america great for? Us

(02:22:58):
we're still suffering and it's showing. Up when does slavery?

Speaker 5 (02:23:02):
End it.

Speaker 9 (02:23:03):
Can't slavery. Hasn't and because we have millions of black
women and black men, incarcerated so how and they're making
how much and they're being. Incarcerated it's said like the
plantation has continued so one of my way of helping
to liberate us is to get our right mind, back he.
Said we're saying we have the highest self disparity from,

(02:23:27):
diabetes to high blood pressure to. Stroke black men are
dying in their, forties in their fifties due to a.
Stroke in just one, MONTH i had four, clients male
clients come to me because they had a, stroke and
then they have a. Stint the stint is to open
up their ardity to their heart so that the blood

(02:23:49):
can flow and the nutrition can. Flow but the nutrition
is not your nutrition because the food is not real,
food and so the food is not sustained the. Heart
and so two years later they come back again for Another,
then so our men are in a, Crisis our women
are in a crisis in a health. Way and why
they fight, about you, know the medical what's going to.

(02:24:10):
Happen and what happened is the last few months with
the federal dollars being pulled and now the healthcare is
being challenged and insurance will go. Up so my mission
is to create a healer and every. Family what about
when the Book take Of women came, out forty five
percent Of black women has five word tumors here it
is twenty five years, later nine percent Of black women

(02:24:33):
have five ward tumors and five woid tumors is a
pipeline for. Hysterectomy so his direct me becomes an alternative because.

Speaker 5 (02:24:41):
You have a five.

Speaker 9 (02:24:42):
Boids when you have a five boid that hasn't science
has not BEG o what a five boid. Is BUT
i have because ive up of a million Women black.
Women so a fivebod is crystallized. Mucus and if you
have mucus in your, nose low cut your nose, Off
you take some vegetable, soup you take your, teams you
start to fly. Us if you have mucus in your

(02:25:02):
lungs and you have, asthma you don't cut your lungs,
Out you detox your lungs and the mucos will come.
Out if you have mucus in your, uterus you don't
cut your uterus, out you detox your. Uterus SO i
have developed systems of, wellness health care and self care
for Women black women, particularly and health care and self
care for our men and our. Families so WHEN i

(02:25:25):
speak of creating a healer in every, family just to
just get, one then that will spread just like if you,
spread wellness can spread and in that create our homes
as wellness. Centers and if we do, that And i've
been seeing it in during the, pandemic when that crisis,
hit take of women manhials. Byself they were living a natural,

(02:25:48):
lifestyle plant. Based they were protecting the immune, system they
were protecting the respiratory system by taking on what nation
has already provided for, us our plant based, living our,
herbs what things that our grandmothers gave. Us so that
is what is necessary now more than. Ever we were
self aliant with our wellness and our health mental. HEALTH

(02:26:09):
i just was With SOLOMON i did was fabab the
keynote and when we were talking to, Heat it's changed
from mental health to mental. Wealth WHICH i love that
because it's from a positive place that there is. Answers
so that whole concept that we are breaking down, mentally
we are breaking down mentally with all the attacks on
every level of. Us and what was just stated just,

(02:26:29):
now so but we can repair our, minds we can
repair our. Hearts from, hearts we can repair our respiratory,
system so we can breathe and we can think and
we can. Create and this is the time you, know
we do know some of us know about the nine
different cities that we were self. Deliant we, had we had,
transputation we had our, schools we had our grocery, stores

(02:26:53):
we had everything that we needed to sustain. Ourselves and
it will either flooded out or burned. Down it's now time.
Again the time has come again for herself AND. I
so the sixties are here. Now the civil rights that
we need is. Necessary the plantation has never. Stopped and
so in the, GAP i was able to heal myself

(02:27:15):
from being. Devastating FIGURE i would have to be alive
IF i had not took on nature and healed. Myself
SO i took WHAT i learned from WHAT i and
THEN i started to teach my. Community so right NOW
i have an army of women and men who are
taking the green lights detox coaching and practitioner. Work so
they're going to go out and heal and help families

(02:27:35):
and help. Communities my father was a, garbite and my
father will always talk, about you, know the way we're
going to you, know Kill our condition as black people
is we have to, unify so we can't. Separate we
have to now pull in with everything we. Have where's our?
REPARATIONS i, mean the whole piece is is injustice across the.

(02:27:56):
Board so they wipe us, out and we're feeling it
because our families are our. Holes we have single parent.
Households but there's an Answer nature has provided for us.
Too that it was a song they tell him out
in nineteen sixty, nine a. Pharaohsonism i'm still working with that.
Song creator has a master. Plan so the plan we

(02:28:17):
all have a piece of a. Plan but when we
unify all of, us as in our different WORLDS i
call service of, wellness then our plan then serves us
to the. Utmost so my plan is holistic, wellness preventive,
medicine natural, healing particular at the times such as this
and even if someone is going to get, surgery if
someone is on. Medication many of the doctors That i've

(02:28:40):
worked with when they're, patients and One i'm going to
say in, particular Doctor. Burnon shechildren From. Brooklyn we've been
together for the last thirteen. Years many of our patients
were coming back to her and she was saying to,
them wait a, minute you're, improving let's cut back on your.
Meditation maybe they don't need that surgery right. Now and

(02:29:00):
she kept asking, them so what are you? Doing they, said,
WELL i went to See queen Of four And i'm
lived in a natural lifestyle and my organs are repairing
and all, that and she witnessed. This so one day she,
SAID i have to meet. Her we came together several
years ago and we've been together ever. Since so WHAT
i came in for one year and What i'm offering On,
Saturday i'm going to be giving some giveaways On saturday In,

(02:29:23):
washington D.

Speaker 10 (02:29:23):
C she.

Speaker 9 (02:29:24):
Said every, month she, SAID i need you to give
a workshop on. Diabetes and she, said give it a
workshop on hyper, pressure give a workshop ON obusi give
a workshop on mental, health give a Workshop. Bible so
she gave me the host every, month this is WHAT
i want you to, do and then we had the
food to. Show mysel did the food AND i was
teach giving the. Teachings and out of that one, year

(02:29:46):
with a year of me giving community, SERVICE i created
circles of. Wellness i'll be bringing those To washington And
i'll be giving those out as gifts so they could
see a bird's eye. View what DO i need to
do IF i have highlo presures on the leads into
a stroke that for men can lead into rectile. Dysfunction
what DO i Do IF i have a five yard
tomor is going to leave into a history, rectum.

Speaker 5 (02:30:06):
What DO i?

Speaker 9 (02:30:06):
Do So i'm gonna give them a. BURGER i do
that they can, take they can go. Home get to that,
garlic get to that, ginger get to their, cranberriers get
to the, food get to The oprah and know that
everything that your issues, are there is a, Plant there
is a, Food there is a, juice there is an
affirmation that can help unravel that. Sickness so you can
get your power and you can create your business and

(02:30:29):
you could be an. Entrepreneur so it's a whole. Thing
i've been doing this work for fifty, years sixty some,
years AND i raised my, Children so my children are
also a part of the. Business my mother she passed
her one, hundred but she worked this business because she was.
Ninety and we work together as a. Family and that's
WHAT i have to. Offer that those three hundred thousand

(02:30:49):
black women who lost their, work that's a crisis and
that is a. Crime and so what do we. Do
do we just lay down or do we get up
and say, NO i have something great THAT i can
into the table of our. People and when you don't
feel good and you're not, vibranting you're not, healthy and
you're aging, prematurely you don't have. It but if you
can raise up your help and raise up your, consciousness

(02:31:11):
then you could go into the battlefield and you can
create work for each. Other i've hired over two hundred
people in my past and they're able to sustain your
families over the. Years so IF i can do, it
then IF i can, do AND i can, teach and
that's WHAT i. Do And Sacred Woman Manuiloself city Of
wellness doing life be touched And i'm finished.

Speaker 14 (02:31:30):
Talking, well thank you for.

Speaker 1 (02:31:33):
Laying that for. Us because you're going to be in
town this. Weekend you're gonna be in town On saturday
at noon at The Burgood Marshall center that's on twelfth
Seat northwest D. C but let me ask you this, Though,
well we've got some people who already want to talk to.
You it's fifteen minutes off the top. Down we'll take
the calls when we get back from this break because
we come up on a. Break so so, Well i'll

(02:31:53):
tell you. What let's take the break and we come.
Back we got some folks want to talk to, you
AND i also want to ask you a. Question all our,
problems mental, problems health, problems does it all stem.

Speaker 11 (02:32:02):
From what we?

Speaker 1 (02:32:02):
EAT i think you respond to. That when we get, back,
family call up a couple of friends and tell them
That queen Of foo is on the. Radio this is
a rare experience for many of you who've not Heard
queen of four. Before she's a wellness. Coach she's well.
Known AS i, mentioned some of her clients are some
of the most well known folks in our. Community they
all go to See queen Of. Foo what are your?
Thoughts reach out to us at eight hundred four or
five zero seventy eight seventy six and will take your

(02:32:24):
phone calls next and grand rising, family thanks for starting
your day with. Us he's twenty minutes after the. TIME
i guess Is queen Of. Fua you like to speak
To queen of foour reach out to us at eight
hundred and four or five zero seventy eight seventy. Six
those of you who don't know who she, Is she's
an alternative medical, practitioner a wellness coach and she's all of,
that and she's she's actually the dean of the folks
who do the wellness. Business she's got several books out

(02:32:46):
and she's going to be In, WASHINGTON dc this. Weekend
queen a, fool BEFORE i take a call for. You
all our, problems just. Do all our problems stem from
what we.

Speaker 9 (02:32:54):
Eat it's your, fuel it's your, frequency and your frequency is.
Low energy is. Low it's because of the substance you put.
In WHEN i think, about, okay the technology has grown
and the health has. Declined when we go from two
thousand to two twenty five and, said, well how come
women are getting? Sick how Come black women are getting?

(02:33:15):
Sick and how come we having breast removed as A
norman and wounds removed and neaty replacements and all.

Speaker 14 (02:33:21):
This, well the.

Speaker 9 (02:33:23):
FOOD i know that the fast food ustry has, grown
and we live off of fast. Foods we're, rushing we're, grabbing,
going and it's taking us. Down, so, yes the food is.
Energy what energy are we putting in our? System we're
putting food in our. Substance we think we open up
our mouth and put something. In we call it food

(02:33:44):
because we're chewing it and we're swallowing. It but everything
that you put in your mouth is not. Food food
is to do two. Things it's either to repair. Rebuild
we nourish. Detoxified everything outside of that junk, food five,
food fast, FOOD gmo, foods foods that grow only one
time because the seed is not to come. Again it doesn't,

(02:34:05):
build so you cannot recreate from. That and if that's,
energy that's in the body or not in the. Body so,
Yes i've experienced when one has any, issue there is a,
food a, juice and a herb that can get their memory,
back take them out of, depression prevent the hardest hack to,
stroke shrink the five boys who can come out. Bad

(02:34:28):
and it's called from, foods from garlic to ginger to
beets to. Radishes everything you eat should be your. Medicine
foodish medicine is my. PLATFORM i have seven books THAT
i will be presenting On saturday IN dc based On Foolish,
medicine And i've been working on this project for the
eighteen years and so the books will be. Shown my

(02:34:51):
formulas cover one hundred and egg. Diseases but if you
take the formulas without eating the right, foods and knowing
how and when to. Eat then you're still going to stay,
sick and we're just going to continue to be. Broken
So i've watched families come together based on healing and
cleansing their bodies and taking this into the husband and,

(02:35:12):
wife taking us into the, children taking us into the.
Eldest we have. Longevity but it's coming from the.

Speaker 1 (02:35:18):
Food all, Right hold, up all, right Thet some folks
want to talk to. YOU a line. One carlo is
calling us From. Baltimore Carl ground, rising you're on With
queen of. Four, Yes carl there online. One, yeah, yeah
your question For queen of four.

Speaker 19 (02:35:40):
How long you been doing this and how long you've
been at it and where you'll be at?

Speaker 9 (02:35:46):
Thirty, Okay i've been doing this for fifty six. Years oh.

Speaker 19 (02:35:52):
YEAH i have a health stoop store here In baltimore
that our people go to and they well into that. Stuff,
people but you go, on.

Speaker 8 (02:36:06):
Yes and SO i.

Speaker 9 (02:36:07):
Started this WHEN i was sixteen AND i had chronic,
asthma chronic, ALLERGIES, pms, headaches. ORTHRITERS i had a number
of health issues and it was the food that cleaned
all that. OUT i went on a two month detox
and regivenation. System and after, that all those issues, left

(02:36:28):
the pain on my body. LEFT i had to change
my lifestyle that it was a three day, retreat but
even coming for one, day that's going to be our
retreat as a. Community so everything can. Change in terms
of you having a place in a shop In, baltimore
you should be carrying my seven Books, Foods, medicine and
you should be carrying my formulas because when you do,
that you're setting up A Greenlight. Pharmacy that's My Heal

(02:36:51):
Byself Green Life pharmacy in your. SHOP i will have
you'll see food you can you know going On Amazon,
Food Soul, Food Veagon, Kitchen, Manifestation Lunch, kitchen at the
Book Sun Food Live, Kitchen DA's For Food Is, Medicine
Fastest Detox, Kitchen, Deliberation Sue, kitchen theeds are books That
Emmo Green Rejuvenation, kitchen and They Healer's Unique. Kitchen ons

(02:37:13):
are seven books that should be in your store with my.
PRODUCTS i have a clay for anyone who has any
aches and, pain, swelling. Inflammation you will shift your. Clients
they'll see a. Shift in seven, days the pain will
start to leave because pain is just malnourishment and toxicity
that has accumulated and the joint and the. MUSCLE i
have for the colon wellness out of The klino therapists

(02:37:37):
for fifteen. Years and SO i have two formulas to
flush out the coal and cancel the. Colones the second
High school and PENSION ny states because our bias have
become god with disposed of eating foods that really is not,
food but we put it in and it sits in
the body because the body doesn't even know what to
do with it and don't know how to break it,
out break it. Down so the average person's time five
to twenty pounds of waists in their. Colon and when

(02:37:59):
that waste is in the the colon drops down on the,
bladder drops down on the, prostrate, wrecks our, dysfunction drops
down on the bladder in the woman and in the
uterus fibroid, tumors so that the former's. HELP i have
products for the, memory for the vitality and boost up
the immune. System and that's the Green light nutritional. Formula

(02:38:20):
and those who, say, WELL i want to change my
DIAP i just can't stop eating the sweet potato pie
with the sugar in and you can have your seat potato.
PIE i have some soul Food vecan. RECIPES i have
some recipes From nigeria that you can learn to shift that.
FOOD i have souven soul food in. THERE i Have
caribbean Soulf so that's even in the first book of
the seven books of how to actually adjust your food

(02:38:42):
in a way that you can still have the flavor
and the taste and the, aroma but you don't have
to harm. Yourself you don't have to shorten your. Lifespan
SO i have a, formula it's called The Master Herbal,
formula and that's to help to break the in twenty one,
days you can break the. Craving and that could be for, drugs,
alcohol coxy, food sugar which is only a few mutitudth

(02:39:03):
away from cracking. Cocaine so we have a lot of
detoxing to do to get into our right mind or
right spill in our right. Help SO i would love
for my protest and my formulas and my books to
be in your shop In. Baltimore so please come, out.

Speaker 1 (02:39:17):
All, Right. Carl we'll give out that information Before QUEEN
A fool leaves twenty six minutes after the top of our,
family call up a couple of friends telling The queen
Of fool is on the. Radio it's a real treat for.
Us it's gonna be In, WASHINGTON dc this, weekend and
Doctor Kakai patterson is jowing. Us he's on line, Two Doctor.
Patterson Hotel, brother you're on With queen A.

Speaker 20 (02:39:35):
Fool peace and, Blessings Hotel, Brother, Quacy peace and blessings

Speaker 9 (02:39:44):
Blessings my brother is so good to be with. You
finally we're.

Speaker 5 (02:39:47):
Here good, Day absolutely.

Speaker 20 (02:39:50):
ABSOLUTELY i you, know when you spoke about your, brother
asked the question when did you start your journey and
you said thirteen years of, age And i'm, like, wow
she got. ME i start it at. Eighteen but it
was always something, prior, yeah but it was always something
prior that led us. There for, ME i was an
alcoholic and per karan attic at. Fifteen you know my, Story,

(02:40:13):
queen you, know and somebody in me to him at
in nineteen seventy seventy, one AND i never looked back
from that. Point but it's so important that folk understand
What queen is talking about when we talk about this holistic.

Speaker 5 (02:40:30):
Process you. Know the political view of what's happening with
black people is definitely you, know part and parts of
what my sister has been, doing you, know for, many many.
Years but it's.

Speaker 20 (02:40:41):
Important to recognize that she has a, system as she talked,
about that can address these health conditions that we're.

Speaker 5 (02:40:47):
Dealing with in our.

Speaker 20 (02:40:48):
Community the number one leading cause of, death as we all,
know it's heart. Disease the number two leading cause of
death is. Cancer and here we have number three as
it relates to the medical processes and, systems you know
in our, society is the number three leading cause of.
Death so we have to have these. Alternatives As queen

(02:41:10):
is talking, about the books that she has will cover
everything you. Need she has one book that has a
list of all the practitioners in the country that she
deems that are you, know positive and correct in their.
Process SO i employ everybody to come out this. Weekend
i'll be Joining queen there and sharing and thank The

(02:41:32):
queen for giving me an opportunity to share game with
the opportunity, everybody uh and uh and be a part
of what we're doing this.

Speaker 5 (02:41:41):
Weekend all, right thank, you Doctor.

Speaker 1 (02:41:43):
Patterson Kai patterson In, WASHINGTON dc activists also. Acupuncture he
says he's going to be Joining queen and four at
The Fergo Marshall. Center that's a noon On. Saturday we'll
give you more information about. That thirty minutes after Top,
day our standy is calling From. Chicago he's online One
Stan Grand queen Of.

Speaker 21 (02:42:01):
Fua, Greetings, Carling Grand, Rising, Greetings queen A Fula.

Speaker 5 (02:42:08):
Grand Rising. Queen my question is just relates to.

Speaker 21 (02:42:11):
Colonoscopies and you, know when we get into that age,
range gotta go on for a. COLONOSCOPY i guess my
concern Is i'm going to be under the anesthesia AND
i don't, KNOW i just feel super healthy AND i
know it's something we have to, DO i, guess or
they kind of recommend. It BUT i just get a
little concern WHEN i go into that that, world right because,

(02:42:34):
again you, Know i'm they're going to be putting something
inside of.

Speaker 5 (02:42:36):
Me to look at.

Speaker 21 (02:42:37):
Stuff and at the same, time the biggest fear is
like making sure they don't inject me with something THAT
i didn't get injected with by choice the first. Time
so again it's just like should we be doing these
things just because we're of that age and that systems
recommending it or if we're.

Speaker 5 (02:42:56):
Forty.

Speaker 9 (02:42:58):
Five one THING i have learned through, wisdom And i'm
not fighting the medical. System i'm presenting an. Alternative and
so you'll have to then look at yourself as you
yourself examining yourself as. Well you, saying wait a, MINUTE
i don't have. CONSTIPATION i have to emails, TODAY i
have free eliminations, today and my way is coming out

(02:43:20):
twice my hand side and in the side of a.
Quarter and Then i'm eating. Healthy i'm not eating foods
that are. Stabilitating i'm not eating a flesh so that's
going to cause. Cancer i'm not eating sure that's going
to cause me to have a stress and mental. Breakdown
i'm not taking in berry that's going to cause me constipation.
Gas so once you have a clean lifestyle and the

(02:43:42):
plant based, lifestyle you're forty five years old and your,
regulators why are you having? That you have to be.
Flexed And i'm not going to tell you not to do.
ANYTHING i just ask you to go side and trust
yourself or what you should really be. Doing if you
don't want to be going and who you, know you
want to be able to Say, OKAY i can heal.
Myself that's the whole. Point on these troop. Books you

(02:44:03):
can Read Colon. HEALTH i walk In. SHELTON i wrote
information on colon health and. Wellness so AND i think
you already know what you need to, do that's why
you're calling it. Now but there's some there's a lifestyle
THAT i put together that's going to help to make
sure you're. Regulated even if you take cocor into your
diet and take that into make a soup three times a,
week if you start to take in yourselves twice a,

(02:44:26):
week there's some things you can do to make sure
that your colon says healthy and. Vibrant, SO i, MEAN
i made it to seventy two when my colon is
in good top. Shape so AND i heal. Myself and
that's what that's. Moving the foundation of my. Work food is,
medicine and trusting that food is medicine and The creator
has provided. You if you have other healthy later, issues

(02:44:47):
you have other healthy later. Issues Because i'm to say
that because on the right side of, colon if you
have anything going to your, head if you have less
of hearing meant or depression and, headache that means the right,
side your colon is. Impacted if you have a thywood
conditioned respiratory, condition heart, palpitations that means you transfers and.
Packet if it's, not then that trance versus. Clear if

(02:45:10):
you have a reptile, dysfunction low back, pain swollen, kidneys barecos,
bans dead, legs then you have deep wasting the decent
and cold on the left. Side do you have any
of those?

Speaker 21 (02:45:23):
Issues, yeah none of those, Issues Miss queen of Full
so that's Why i'm just kind of why AM i doing?

Speaker 5 (02:45:30):
This something just says, like just don't you. Know i'm
JUST i don't.

Speaker 9 (02:45:33):
Trust But i'm not saying you trust or not you.
Trust i'm just saying trust. YOURSELF i wrote a book
calling technical listening and tepable listening is just as the
creator that's inside of, you that gives you life and
woke you up this. Morning most, part what SHOULD i?
Do we are the most spiritual people when we connect
to sort and whatever name you Call Saurce god all

(02:45:53):
do my, Ray, JODJE i hope whatever name that.

Speaker 17 (02:45:56):
Is if we connect that we know exactly what.

Speaker 14 (02:45:58):
To do and what not to.

Speaker 9 (02:45:59):
DO i was let on that retreat THAT i went
to WHEN i was six years of, age not THAT i,
asked you, know my, girlfriends you need to go because
you have all these health issues and maybe they can help.
YOU i, said, well you, KNOW i was getting, chicken junk,
food processed, food everything at that. Time SO i turned
to that retreat. Sick WHEN i left that, RETREAT i
picked up a book called Diig Gregor cooking With Mother.
Nature that would turn my whole life. AROUND i, said

(02:46:21):
oh that. Wow food is. Medicine we can eat plant
based and have a healthy, colon a healthy cercitory, system
a healthy, heart of a strong. Brain everything could be
in shop top. Chet as you grow older and you're.
Young you're young, man so come. OUT i don't know
where you are in the. World if you can take a,
bus a, plane a, trade a, carpool come out On

(02:46:42):
saturday and you, know started cooking the. Formulations, Okay so
thank you so much for calling.

Speaker 1 (02:46:48):
In all, right thanks, welly And Thankstan queen Of fools
our guest family in twenty six minutes away from the
top of the. HOUR a queen Of, food AS i mentioned,
it is an alternative medicine. Practitioner she, said a wellness,
coach and she's helped a lot of people transition from
eating meat into veganism as. Well BUT i got a,
question a tweet question for, You queen of. Four the question,

(02:47:09):
Goes Grand, Rising queen Of, fur thank you for all
your life saving and life sustaining work which blesses my
health to this. Day with Our black families now out
of sync with the teamwork of, parenting resulting in single
moms and dads fighting over our, children what practical actions
can we take to heal our relationships for the benefit
of our future progeny and. Generations, well you, know.

Speaker 9 (02:47:32):
Being a stolen people being incarcerated for four hundred years
and we're still. Incarcerating we are in a, crisis and
we've been in a crisis since being. Stolen and so.

Speaker 2 (02:47:44):
Now WHAT i.

Speaker 9 (02:47:46):
PUT i wrote a. Book the name of the book
Is Sacred. Woman Sacred woman is a vice's. Passage And
i'm based on Ancient african, spirituality spiritual consciousness and holistic
health because holistic health Is african. Based if we go
back to our, roots that's A roman. Therapy what we
call postic health now is All african natural lifestyle That

(02:48:08):
i've researched from a roma therapy to massage, therapy to
reflexology to hydro. Therapy it's All african. Based no gun.
Meditation it's All african. Based so we go back to
that in these. Times then we can become a whole.
People so between the rights of, passes the thousands wouldn't
have gone through and between and from various virtual. Houses

(02:48:28):
so that's a unifying force right there that we can
begin to heal no matter our, differences we are unified
as black. People and Then Man HILLS i said with
My Son's, supernova those two books will help get our
families and. SYNC i am coming with a couple and
the couple is unique because It's Tennisia pope And James.

(02:48:50):
Polk they took the training their, example they've been married
for twenty. Years tanasa took the sacred rights of. Passage
he text on her, husband you need to take man here.
Byself you need so we can be instinct and we
can heal together and.

Speaker 10 (02:49:05):
All and he.

Speaker 9 (02:49:05):
Didn't he really didn't, connect but he did hear a
voice that brought him in and that was the late
and grace senor uncle As Samashi, patar who were married
for nineteen years he heard his voice while she was
taking the train because he spoke on To rudy's word
as power word. Power what we speak is what we
create for ourselves and our. Family and when you heard,

(02:49:26):
that he got he, said wait a, MINUTE i need
to be a part of.

Speaker 4 (02:49:28):
This so you came.

Speaker 9 (02:49:30):
In there was, supernova my son and Hallelujah. Wilcock they
teamed up as young. Brothers but there's twelve healing juggernauts
with our doctor is one of. Them Doctor kaye is
one of those healing juggernauts and they're met of. Wisdom
so you have the rights of passage for the, women
the rights of passage for the. Men you bring them
together in this. Couple they represent. That when they started to,

(02:49:53):
heal they also wrote a book which they're going to do.
Books they're going to talk about safe Re union and
they were inspired from the gateway Of Safe Red union
to write this book in terms of the shadow. Work
and now their relationship is stronger than. Ever there was
the Course roaders where they were being challenged in their.
Relationship he wasn't, shifting he wasn't trying to get through

(02:50:15):
this the healing. Anything so it was causing a wedge
and then when he finally took the training himself that his.
Rights then their relationship is. Powerful so they're going to
be coming with. Me they're coming From New, jersey they're
picking me. Up i'm all the way TO. Dc and
so you want to meet, them you want to be
in that blow because that is the family. Healing they
brought their daughter to the training, too BECAUSE i had

(02:50:36):
a training for young girls WHICH i was start up
again thirteen to. Sixteen their daughter came. In she ended
up writing a. Book and when she wrote the, BOOK
i looked at her. Book it was at barb bla
Shop Munson shop In, brooklyn AND i, said, oh you
better go ahead and publish, that and she actually published.
It because that is the family. Unity you heal the,
woman you heal who's the primary heal of the, Household

(02:50:57):
you heal the. Man you heal them, together and then
the tuley can come forth and do the.

Speaker 1 (02:51:02):
Stored so, OH i, thought right, There queen of, four

in addition to bringing your books where we, have can
you talk About i'm having an opportunity to even try
some of your, products any of the tonics or anything

you leave, out you, said wait a, minute that pain
WHEN i work. UP i did a workshop In. Harlem
we all really matter. Warm it's against domestic violence and

(02:54:32):
family violence and. Harm and there was a sister that
came in into the building for the workshop And faith was.
Smolling she, Said i'm on my way to the seat
to the. Hospital so NOW i. TRIED i, said we'll
sit down here, here sit, down here you. Are it
was a stick, hospital and SO i, said, well come come.
Up there were two thousand people in my social media

(02:54:52):
were looking in the class and. All and THEN i
put the clay on her face in front of everyone
AND i, said just sit, down and here's a tonic
the green light. Formula just took that and here's a
breath of. Life now within forty five. MINUTES i asked,
her so where was the pain before you started and
tend it's the highest level of, pain and she said

(02:55:13):
it was at. EIGHT i, said where's the pain? Now
she made a. ZERO i have no. Pain the swelling
lune down the. Pain they. Couldn't they were, saying you
might have that surgery and she's still. Liked but what
happened in that moment is come mouth started to, knit the,
tissues the cells start to. Repair the greatest path has
given us everything in the earth and the spoil in

(02:55:36):
the plants that if we used it. Actively i'm thinking
about Doctor Johnny, moore Master herberts for over fifty. Years
if we use the, plants then we Will we could
heal ourselves if we know how. To so that's WHERE

Speaker 1 (02:56:39):
Family she's going to be at The Fergerant Marshall. Center

going to be On saturday at, noon eight hundred and
four or five zero seventy eight seventy. Six got some
more folks want touch to, You queen of. Four let's
go To. Jerome it's called From laurel In. Maryland is
online One jerome Grind. Rising you're on With queen at.

Speaker 5 (02:56:57):
Four there's GRAND.

Speaker 13 (02:57:02):
I have a question about bipolar this border what's the
cones of?

Speaker 5 (02:57:07):
It and like what what can you do diet? Wise
then he'll treat it, well.

Speaker 9 (02:57:14):
It's all in the nervous system in the. Brain so
you have to feed the brain, nourishment and so you
have to come off with certain substances that we call.
Food sugar is the number one. Sugar couldn't have you
we coulchet up and. Down so sugar's put in everything
because the more, sugar the more, crazy the more we need,
it the more we want, it and then it becomes
a thing in our. System it locked into our, tissues

(02:57:36):
it locked into our. Minds and so if you come
off the, sugar but you, SAID i can't really come
up with the sugar because you're already addicted to. It
it's only a few molecules and crack and. Cocaine so master.
Herbal you'll Take master herbal for two to three, weeks
three cups every, night boire your, water let us sleep.
Overnight you drink that. Down it will clean out the,
brain it will clean out the nervous. Systems say, well

(02:57:57):
we're going to up and. Down also taking your b
complex fifty milligrams one hundred milligram to be, complished taking
your healing. Baths so and then we might need consultation
because if you have one.

Speaker 17 (02:58:08):
Issue you have different. Issues you don't have just.

Speaker 9 (02:58:10):
One so but that's that's the. Bipolar so if you take,
that and then you could put the clay on your.
Temple you put the clay on your temple to help
put minos directly in and then you drink The Green
light nutritional formula three times a, day you take Your
master herbal that would be your. Formulation that would Got
that's WHAT i would recommend for. You and of course
you have to change the diet so that you don't

(02:58:31):
keep you can you can actually heal and undo it
and heal and undo, It SO i would, help and
we have practitioners and coaches to help you be able
to move all the way through all.

Speaker 1 (02:58:41):

got me going With he pushed me to write the
book steal. Myself it wasn't my. Idea and then he
pushed me through the product. Performers he, said you have
people run around getting something over, here had something over,

(03:00:52):
there some helpless source having some so he, said because
you put together a system of FORM i had a,
system but then it took a lot of work to
bring forth my formulations and then package them and then
shift them. Out so it has been a big. Journey
but now we're our process is so stable and our
probably have been out for thirty five. Years so, definitely you,

(03:01:13):
know for one of our great freedom. Fighters i'm always
there For Bob lord because he's always there for.

Speaker 5 (03:01:17):
