Speaker 1 (00:02):
Bloomberg Audio Studios, podcasts, radio news, single best idea People
ask off and when does my day start? It depends
if the Bentley is you know, there's a little traffic.
I may not get in until six point fifty eight

(00:23):
maybe or a little earlier six fifty five to start
the day. But sometimes there's a newsflow and the day
can start, like on a Sunday when it's Monday morning
in Japan's Sunday evening seven pm, when Asia opens, a
Pacific room opens, or we can blow up the show
at nine pm the night before and we've got a
whole team of surveillance people who are like, okay, we

(00:46):
have these plans of that, and all of a sudden
it stops and they have to adapt, as we all
did last night to this historic court decision on tariffs.
A massive thank you to David Gurra I thought was
of huge help with great perspective. Wendy Schiller I thought

(01:06):
was great at Brown University, much more on civics and
on the law. Back to James Madison cited in the
document and forward here Professor Schiller of Brown University.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
When you think about the final word, who has the
final word? And the Trump administration is not that interested
in any other you know, structure in the American piblical
system having of power over them. You know, does everything
go to the Supreme Court? And the Supreme Court is
It's been interesting to watch. We have a lot of
decisions coming down in June that we can expect, and

(01:40):
you know, where do they reign in executive power? And
the important thing with the Supreme Court is to make
sure this isn't about Donald Trump. This is about the
balance of power in the system itself. So that's where
the education on tariff's lie. In immigration, we've seen the
Court say to the President and Congress. Congress has authority
to make the laws on immigration, make the laws. The

(02:02):
president cannot just create immigration law. So is that the
same thing that will be applied to tariffs. We're probably
about to find out.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Wendy Schuler, thank you so much for that. Just a
lot of other good voices today as well, and thank
you for your comments. I really can't say enough about
the heated debate engendered by Bloomberg surveillance among those in
the right and the left about the path forward for
the nation as we look at the judiciary, the legislative branch,
and of course, the executive branch and a minks to

(02:32):
all this. We do look at the markets and video
out yesterday and here we are today with an up market.
We'll see where we are at four pm. But you know,
there it is. It's been a rally. I noticed Microsoft
almost out to a record high. Here is a quiet
story of Q two. Anastasia rosoid ikep. She's been very
optimistic about participating in the stock market. We get an

(02:56):
update from Anastasia.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I still think there's an agree with here out there.
But I'll just quote these stats. You know that. You know,
back in April you had about sixty six percent of
investors that were bearish. That is not the number today.
It's probably closer to thirty percent now. Couple, it's a
big reversal. A couple of weeks ago, you probably had
only twenty percent of investors that were bullish. Today that's

(03:19):
about thirty seven percent, But it's not fifty It's not
half of the investors that we're in the bullish camp
to start of the year. So I think we need
a few more to join.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
The part data foundation. That's what Anastasia Amorros is known
for is just look at the data to come to
conclusion and confidence in the market. She remains participating in
the market accrossination, on Android, Auto, Apple Car, played good
Morning to ninety nine to one FM in Washington and
good Morning a special good Morning to ninety to nine

(03:49):
FM in Boston at a lot of value out of
there today among our good good guests. We're on YouTube, crossination, Subscribe,
I'm to Bloomberg Podcasts and out at YouTube podcasts. It's
