In this second part of my explant story, Natalie and I shift from the personal to the educational, exploring what I’ve learned about Breast Implant Illness (BII), the healing process, and what I wish I had known before ever getting implants.
When I started researching BII, I began connecting the dots between so many things I had been experiencing, like gut issues, inflammation, low blood pressure, and a constant sense that something just wasn’t right in my body. Like so many women, my symptoms were often dismissed or misunderstood, and I had to learn to trust my intuition above all else.
In this episode, I share what I discovered about how implants can affect our health, the questions I wish I’d asked before getting them, and the importance of listening to your body’s signals. We also talk about recovery after explant and the importance of having support as you move through the healing process.
My hope is that this conversation helps you feel more informed and empowered, whether you have implants, are considering them, or are simply on your own path toward deeper self-awareness and healing.
