Gletscher sind echte Wanderer! Sie bewegen sich jährlich mehrere hundert Meter, manche sogar Kilometer – und sie werden immer schneller. Schuld ist der Klimawandel. Die Bilder der schmelzenden Gletscher kennt man. Doch wir können ihr Leiden auch hören. Sie knacken, blubbern, zischen und plätschern – und werden mit jedem Grad Klimaerwärmung lauter.
In der ersten Folge von Sound of Science spricht Victoria Marciniak mit dem Gletscherforscher Olaf Eisen. Ob in den Alpen, in der Antarktis oder in den Anden: Eisen hat schon vielen Gletschern beim Schmelzen zugehört. Welche Geschichten erzählen uns Gletscher?
