💁🏻 Concept: Inner Sense of God An instinctive awareness of God’s existence that every human being has. This inner sense is not learned through external teaching but is embedded in our very nature as image-bearers of God. Though people may suppress or deny it, this awareness remains. Scripture affirms that no one is without excuse because God has made Himself known within and around us.
📖 Bible Readings: Romans 1:19-21 (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 19:1-4; Ecclesiastes 3:11; Acts 17:26-27; John 1:9; John 16:8; Ezekiel 36:26; Revelation 4:11)
👨🏻💻 Teachings: 1. The truth of God is present in every human heart. 2. The human heart suppresses this truth. 3. The Spirit convicts the heart to repentance.
💪🏼 Applications: 1. Recognize that God is not hiding from us. 2. Renew your commitment to love and serve God. 3. Respond in worship as you behold God’s creation.
🎙Discussion: Why is suppressing the truth a dangerous game to play?
🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord God, thank You for placing a sense of Yourself in every human heart. I am amazed that even without words, You reveal Your presence in creation and within my heart. Help me never to ignore or suppress that inner witness, but instead to seek You with all my heart. When doubts arise, remind me of Your nearness and Your truth that speaks louder than words. Let this built-in awareness lead me to deeper intimacy with You and a boldness to share the truth with others. Use my life to reflect the reality that You are real, loving, and present. In Jesus’ name, amen.
