This is a common question, and the answer can be summed up in one word: "no." Lucid dreaming is a natural phenomenon of consciousness and it is no more dangerous than non-lucid dreaming, which we all engage in naturally every night. Lucidity is simply awareness. We become aware that we are dreaming.
