(00:00):
I would, I would much prefer you be able to give it to somebody that wants to put their heart into it, as opposed to like, you're just sinking like a black hole of depression into this, into this happy go lucky family.
We don't even know about it.
Like, if you don't look into the background, you'll never know. 4 00:00:16,530.001 --> 00:00:18,659.999 It doesn't feel like he hates it at all.
It feels like a total disconnect from how he feels towards his own characters.

(00:31):

.9995What is better than sharing your love of anime with other anime fans? You know what I mean? Vix, how are you doing today? I'm doing fantastic. 20 00:01:24,569.9995 --> 00:01:29,449.999 I'm ready to talk about I was thinking about this topic for a long time that we got planned for today.
.999I think about it all the time. 22 00:01:31,959.999 --> 00:01:35,710 And as soon as I put it up on screen, everybody's going to agree with me and be like, man.

(01:36):
I know that feeling, but we haven't gotten into it yet.
We're going to talk about Don to Don first.
.9Let's talk about some Don to Don.
We had, we had chat here talking about it.
.999Everybody in the discord keep talking about Don to Don.
It's so good, dude.
I was, I was waiting, I was waiting for Granny Psycho to show up.

(01:58):
.999I was like, I was like, who is gonna be the first one to be like, would? Dude, okay. 31 00:02:07,970.099 --> 00:02:10,890 It's funny, cause I didn't think about it really.
I, cause, Don Da Don is just like a whiplash.
Of like, just things are happening.
Like, there's just so many things happening.
I don't really think about, like, the world and be like, Wait, this doesn't make any sense.

(02:21):
.999Well, you know, Realistic Obama totally makes sense.
Again, if you guys are just anime only.
It's Realistic White Guy.
So, you know, it's not the same.
But, it's so many crazy things happening, Don to Don, that I don't really think of, like, Oh, wait, does this make any sense? So, I never think about Granny Psycho being the granny.
And it being, like, fucking hot as shit.
Like, the baddest. 43 00:02:37,970.1 --> 00:02:39,649.9 The baddest.
They never really explained it, but I was just like, I love her.

(02:43):
I mean, she just, you know, it is, it's just like one of those things that, you know, the whole, the entirety of Dandodon is for like anime vets who have already reached that level of, I'll just run with it.
It's just anime.
Every single aspect hits that mark where you're just like, what? You know what? It's just an anime.
I'm a ride with it.

(03:04):
They got, they got granny psycho doing it.
And they got like the crazy events that happened.
Like what has happened in the first three episodes is like lightly touching on what they get into, like way later.
If you, if you like it so far, then later on, you're going to be like, what the f, what is even going on? I can't wait.
I can't wait for them to animate the whole thing.

(03:25):
This thing better get like five seasons.
They better give it to like UFO to bull or keep it where it is.
Who's who's got it now? Who's who's running it now? So the studio, I can't remember the name, but a studio to do devil may cry baby, which I think is awesome because devil may cry baby is a weird anime, but I think it fits perfect for Don to Don.
Yeah. 58 00:03:44,85.1 --> 00:03:45,251.02 They killed the opening. 59 00:03:45,251.02 --> 00:03:45,478.98 Great. 60 00:03:45,478.98 --> 00:03:47,315 They're doing a fantastic job.

(03:47):
Cause I love Okaru's transformation.
Like, he's supposed to look like a lanky freak.
And that's what they're good at.
If you watch anything of Devil May Cry, baby.
Dude, the voice actors for, for him when he transformed, they were so good. 66 00:03:59,840.1 --> 00:04:08,310 Both the Japanese and the English voice actors were so freaking good for his transformation form.

(04:08):
Like, actually the English dub is like really good all around.
And then like.
The transformation where he gets like all depressed.
That made me laugh so hard.
.9995It's so not the Don is amazing again. 72 00:04:21,939.9995 --> 00:04:24,850 We'll talk about it probably the entirety of the season going on.
I expect to hear at least one instance of Don to Don every week.
Exactly.

(04:28):
So you got to stay here for your Don to Don reference of the week. 76 00:04:30,865.1 --> 00:04:38,975 Like a segment, have like a graphic pop up is like drum roll, but like down to down, it's just jam out.
Exactly.
We got to do it down to down walk that all the characters are doing now, where they just like they do to eat a walk from fucking my hero.
But Dandedan's amazing, we're both caught up in the manga every week now I'm waiting for the chapter to drop and I read it and I'm just like, I want more, like, I haven't really enjoyed it, man, and it's just one piece of You need to drop another 168 chapters at the same time so I can finish it all in two days like I did the first half! I wish, but yeah, if you guys want more of that, again, the last podcast, we talked about a lot of animators coming out this season in detail.

(05:09):
So that's a little snippet. 81 00:05:10,560.1 --> 00:05:12,810 Not just Dom to Dom, there was more there.
It was a lot of Dom to Dom, but yes, there was more. 83 00:05:17,289.999 --> 00:05:20,940 But yeah, oh, also, I want to talk to you about this, right? So we're both anime heads.
We both read One Piece.
Have you heard the news that One Piece is going on hiatus? I have it is only the anime, though.
Yep.
.999So right now, I think the manga is on a week break because all has been doing a week breaks like you'll do four or five chapters and then take a break off, which is great.

(05:36):
You let the man rest.
He's writing a fucking masterpiece.
Let him rest. 91 00:05:39,859.999 --> 00:05:47,180 But yeah, the anime will be going on hiatus until April 2025, which is kind of crazy because the reason that they came out with.
Where they were like, Hey, we don't believe that the animation is crazy.
This is like, I'm, I'm shocked because they're like the animation is not any of their mouths.

(06:00):
Like if this was Thriller Bark, if this was Fishman Island, something like that, then I'm like, you know what? I understand they want to, you know, knock it up.
Cause I love one piece.
I think one piece is great.
.999But, you know, the pace in the weekly forever weekly show that it was like, it wasn't the best looking at me ever, but that stopped the whole horse in Wano egghead and everything that they're doing.

(06:20):
.999Currently, one piece has been like the greatest thing to the point where I was literally doing watch alongs whenever there's a big episode like the the king.
.9The war is liberation.
Yeah, the Sanji Queen fight, the Zoro King fight.
Luffy versus Kaido were like events like they were so special.
They were destroying Crunchyroll.

(06:42):
.999Everybody was excited for it.
So we'd all watch it together.
It felt like watching Game of Thrones again, not in the same way, but just how excited everybody was.
You know, I mean, to the point where everybody's like, I want to watch you guys.
We're going to talk about like, this looks amazing.
And they've been killing it.
And I feel like it's only gotten better in egghead.
The anime has been looking incredible.
That Garp versus Aokiji fight.
.999Oh, my God.

(07:02):
The thing that I've been really enjoying about one piece recently, and I love one piece of death, but it feels like the animators are not just extremely talented, but they love one piece.
There's so much love, like, like grandma's cookies.
There's so much love, packed into one piece right now, it's crazy.
Have you been seeing like all the the impact frames? Yeah, they always like hide something in there.

(07:26):
Who was it, was it who was it that did like, somebody dapped each other up in the middle of the impact frame? Yeah, how'd you do that? Dude, it looks so good, it's just Like you see them in their past selves while they're fighting and they're like, like clashing of their fist in the impact frame is a them as they were younger, when Gart was trained out Kiji dapping each other up as they fish as their fist collide.

(07:50):
Oh, I almost went and came at the same time.
.999It's so good. 120 00:07:53,994.999 --> 00:07:55,324.999 It's so good. 121 00:07:55,374.999 --> 00:07:56,664.999 It's so good.
So to see that they're taking this like six months hiatus to make it better.
Yeah.
.999I don't even know what they could do to make it better.
Like it's already fluid.
.999It's like their, their impact flame frames are like literally game changing.

(08:15):
Other animes are trying to follow suit with more impact frames.
I don't know what they could possibly do.
They, I don't know, I don't know what the part is that they are not satisfied with.
It seems like it's all fine to me.
Like, I liked it.
One piece. 133 00:08:31,844.999 --> 00:08:34,155 They want one piece to be the greatest thing that ever lived.
Like, that's all I can think of.

(08:36):
They want one piece to be the greatest anime ever.
And it is working its way to it.
Because good lord.
.999I mean, one piece is already amazing.
I think it's a masterpiece where it is right now.
But good Lord, the anime.
So I kicked it up 'cause I read, I, I was in college, this was a long time ago.
And I was like, you know what? I wanna get into one piece.
'cause I, I started watching one piece with the four kids Dub, right? And I loved it for what it was.
Yay yo, yay yo dreaming.

(08:57):
But it wasn't that great, you know what I mean? So when they started re dubbing it, or actually when I, when they stopped dubbing it for Fundation, when Fundation kinda like went down or whatever.
I started watching this sub and I went all the way through Skypiea and everything else dubbed and I watched it and I was like, Oh, I love these guys.
They're idiots.
I love them so much.
And then I would just watch one piece and I was just like, watch 20 episodes a day and I got caught up.

(09:20):
So I was like, you know, weekly at that point.
.999And then when I got weekly, I was just like, this pacing is terrible.
Because literally it'd be like, and go Roger.
.999He left all this crap in one piece and then you'll go through the intro of that.
You go through the anime opening and then it'll be a recap, like a three to five minute recap of the last episode.
To be fair though, every anime did the three to five minute recap before.

(09:44):
That was like, that was, I don't know what their thought process was on doing that, but it was like, we all, all anime fans have goldfish memories.
Definitely, definitely needed it sometimes.
But most of the time I'm like binging a series and they're like recap.
Thankfully, thankfully Crunchyroll now has a skip recap button, which is amazing.

(10:06):
They got their update.
They got the skip intro, skip ending and skip recaps.
.9The intro one was, the intro one was needed.
Because everybody skips intros, and it came from Netflix, I used to do it and then skipping the ending was like good because they had some animes that like to hide like five minutes of content behind the credits for some reason. 164 00:10:27,329.999 --> 00:10:27,490 Hate that.

(10:28):
Don't do that. 166 00:10:28,779.999 --> 00:10:28,789.999 Oh.
What, what anime was it that did that recently? I kept missing stuff.
Oh, it was Remonster.
I kept missing things in Remonster and I watched the next episode and be like, what the, what are they talking about? And then I had to go back and they were like, Oh, there's like little snippets after the thing.
And then I stopped caring about Remonster.
I, dude, I hate it. 172 00:10:48,219.999 --> 00:10:49,410.0005 Like anime is always done. 173 00:10:49,410.0005 --> 00:10:51,229.999 There's always like one that wants to do that.

(10:51):
Like they think it's good or something.
I don't.
I don't like that, I hate it.
Because I have to like, guess.
And sometimes it's more obvious, where it's like, it'll, it'll start the ending at like, 19 minutes, and you're like, Is there something afterwards I'm like gun shy now I have to like scroll in a little ticker to see if there's something else actually I do that to get it off my continue watching list is I'll click on the thing and drag it to the end and if it's not credits at the end I go back like one minute so you know you know what why I think they do that for certain shows because again in Japan and watch time up Yeah, so it's like they don't want their, their, I don't know, ratings to go down.

(11:36):
So you're like, Oh, we want to be watching the entire thing all the way to the next show.
Keep ratings up.
So, hey, you got to stay for that Marvel style after credit scene.
.999Oh, I'm not.
.999So I'm going to drop that before I do that.
I mean, potentially, this is all just theory crafting over here with your boy.
But yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm excited.
It's kind of wild that one piece is going on a break.

(11:57):
.099It's been a weekly anime for God knows how long. 188 00:12:00,535.099 --> 00:12:02,175.099 So it's kind of insane that they're taking a break. 189 00:12:02,175.099 --> 00:12:07,275.098 But I mean, actually, technically, they're not taking a break because you know what they're doing in that six months time frame. 190 00:12:07,505.099 --> 00:12:09,285.099 Working on the next episode. 191 00:12:09,575.099 --> 00:12:10,35.099 No. 192 00:12:10,45.099 --> 00:12:18,545.098 Well, that and they're also re releasing the Fishman Island arc and reanimating portions of it, which is crazy to me. 193 00:12:19,75.099 --> 00:12:22,385.099 I don't know why Fishman Island, because I'm not a lot of people like Fishman Island arc. 194 00:12:22,725.099 --> 00:12:24,105.099 I don't care about that bad. 195 00:12:24,105.099 --> 00:12:26,15.099 Like, it just kind of felt like an intermediary. 196 00:12:26,15.099 --> 00:12:32,950.099 And I was like, isn't that what it's supposed to be? Yeah, but I'm wondering why specifically they're doing that one. 197 00:12:34,60.099 --> 00:12:39,650.098 That's the only thing I was like, there's something important because right now in the well, I won't say where we are in the manga, I guess. 198 00:12:39,660.098 --> 00:12:42,850.099 But right now it's like a lot of stuff going on in the manga that's really fucking interesting. 199 00:12:43,160.098 --> 00:12:43,920.098 And I'm excited. 200 00:12:44,330.099 --> 00:12:50,30.099 But then at the same time, it's just like, it has to be a reason unless they're just going to do this for all. 201 00:12:50,40.099 --> 00:12:53,209.999 Like, they'll do like just re release each one. 202 00:12:53,210.099 --> 00:12:56,480.099 Yeah, like, like, dude, Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island. 203 00:12:56,480.099 --> 00:12:58,480.098 And just like whenever they have a break, they just go back. 204 00:12:58,480.099 --> 00:13:01,400.099 They're like, we're going to start releasing in one piece, but in like. 205 00:13:01,625.099 --> 00:13:07,965.099 The reverse order, so now they're going to go back and just slowly release it until Luffy is a child again. 206 00:13:08,965.099 --> 00:13:09,985.099 But they're doing this. 207 00:13:10,115.099 --> 00:13:14,775.099 But they're also doing the WIT studio like new retelling of the animus. 208 00:13:15,865.099 --> 00:13:20,845.099 So it's just like, how is that going to work with that? Because they're just like, they're going to start from East Blue from the beginning of the show. 209 00:13:21,115.099 --> 00:13:24,725.099 And then also have another remake going past the time skip. 210 00:13:24,725.099 --> 00:13:26,615.099 So it's just like, it's too much. 211 00:13:26,995.099 --> 00:13:29,105.099 They're going to take the Fishman remake. 212 00:13:29,520.099 --> 00:13:36,800.099 And they're going to release it so that when the one piece reaches before that, they can just drop the whole season at once and be like, by the way. 213 00:13:38,670.099 --> 00:13:39,230.099 That would be nuts. 214 00:13:39,430.099 --> 00:13:44,30.099 Just like remove it from one piece and then just like slide it over to the one piece. 215 00:13:45,910.098 --> 00:13:51,590.099 I don't know what they're going to be doing the full changes, but they said they're going to be remastering it, reanimating some scenes and sequences. 216 00:13:51,590.099 --> 00:13:52,720.099 I think they've shown some. 217 00:13:53,10.099 --> 00:13:53,870.099 I like the little cuts. 218 00:13:53,920.099 --> 00:13:58,960.099 It was like different little animation cuts and they said they were going to trim it down to fix the pace in the Fishman Island, which is great. 219 00:13:59,260.099 --> 00:14:00,450.099 I mean, Fishman Island is cool. 220 00:14:00,470.099 --> 00:14:01,550.099 First time you get to see Gear 4th. 221 00:14:01,620.099 --> 00:14:03,290.0985 Or actually, no, you don't get to see Gear 4th. 222 00:14:03,290.0985 --> 00:14:04,110.099 You see Red Rock. 223 00:14:04,400.099 --> 00:14:07,170.099 It's like the big thing and just hockey stuff with Luffy, I guess. 224 00:14:07,815.099 --> 00:14:10,365.099 But you know, you have to see the beginnings of year fourth, I guess. 225 00:14:10,525.099 --> 00:14:11,775.099 Technically, so, you know, it's cool. 226 00:14:11,775.099 --> 00:14:12,815.099 The holy fight was really cool. 227 00:14:13,5.099 --> 00:14:19,525.099 The only real reason why I like the holy fight like legitimately is because of AMVs that I watched around that time because they were always do like the holy fight. 228 00:14:19,525.099 --> 00:14:22,725.099 And you see like Luffy hit the red rock and it's like cool as you know. 229 00:14:23,425.098 --> 00:14:25,295.098 Yeah, it was like a skill evolution. 230 00:14:25,295.099 --> 00:14:26,155.098 And you're like, Nice. 231 00:14:26,185.098 --> 00:14:27,725.099 That means we get more. 232 00:14:28,520.099 --> 00:14:29,740.099 I was trying to think what song it played. 233 00:14:29,740.099 --> 00:14:30,770.099 I can't remember that band. 234 00:14:31,290.099 --> 00:14:32,540.099 But you know, that's not important right now. 235 00:14:32,540.099 --> 00:14:35,70.099 But yeah, anyway, one piece will hopefully be back soon. 236 00:14:35,200.099 --> 00:14:36,920.099 The manga will still be going, which will be good. 237 00:14:36,920.099 --> 00:14:38,180.099 They'll be able to get ahead in the manga. 238 00:14:38,380.099 --> 00:14:47,830.099 And hopefully that will also help some of the pacing issues because they'll actually have they won't have to adapt one chapter an episode, which is crazy to me that they're doing that because not a lot of meat on that bone in one chapter. 239 00:14:47,870.099 --> 00:14:48,950.099 Oda packs a lot. 240 00:14:48,960.099 --> 00:14:50,440.099 He packs a lot into his chapters. 241 00:14:50,510.099 --> 00:14:51,200.099 I will give him that. 242 00:14:51,530.099 --> 00:14:54,530.098 But you know, doing one episode, a chapter is nuts to me. 243 00:14:54,530.099 --> 00:14:54,950.099 But, hey. 244 00:14:55,165.099 --> 00:14:57,611.96823077 Hopefully that, that means the page will be better for us as fans. 245 00:14:57,611.96823077 --> 00:15:02,555.099 I haven't read the last two, three chapters cause it's, it's just a wall of text. 246 00:15:03,95.099 --> 00:15:09,895.099 It, it is, I opened it up, I read the first page and was like, Ooh, I'm not feeling this right now. 247 00:15:10,115.099 --> 00:15:11,115.099 It is a lot of text. 248 00:15:11,265.099 --> 00:15:13,855.098 Every panel is jam packed full of art. 249 00:15:14,325.099 --> 00:15:15,875.099 Cause Oda, Oda's the man, man. 250 00:15:15,885.099 --> 00:15:20,155.099 He'll, he'll jam pack some is in like the small corner of each panel. 251 00:15:20,415.099 --> 00:15:22,645.098 And then the rest of it is just all text. 252 00:15:24,745.099 --> 00:15:31,655.099 It's so much so yeah, at least it's showing that he's got like, you know, he's got the heart, he's got the passion for it. 253 00:15:32,155.099 --> 00:15:32,925.099 They're going back there. 254 00:15:32,995.099 --> 00:15:35,535.099 They're animating because their animators got the heart and the passion for it. 255 00:15:36,95.099 --> 00:15:42,955.099 But on the flip side, foreshadowing, we talk about blue lock some more fucking season. 256 00:15:44,455.099 --> 00:15:46,745.099 They need to go back and reanimate this. 257 00:15:46,775.099 --> 00:15:50,249.999 Did you know that somebody found the PNG that they used for the ball? Yeah. 258 00:15:50,770.099 --> 00:15:51,940.099 In the third episode. 259 00:15:52,350.099 --> 00:16:00,310.098 Are you serious? Yeah, because in the third episode, they, they, when they kick the ball in the triangle, the ball doesn't rotate at all. 260 00:16:00,900.099 --> 00:16:04,360.099 It just slides over and it connects it. 261 00:16:04,380.099 --> 00:16:12,100.099 Well, connects I put in quotes because it actually it goes behind the guy's like image layer. 262 00:16:12,425.199 --> 00:16:15,165.099 And then slides back to the other guy. 263 00:16:16,85.099 --> 00:16:19,765.099 Why? Bluelock was so awesome. 264 00:16:20,65.099 --> 00:16:23,525.099 Why did they mess this up? This is like, not even a mess up. 265 00:16:23,535.099 --> 00:16:26,205.099 This, like, somebody is doing this on purpose. 266 00:16:26,845.099 --> 00:16:28,485.098 This is not even animation. 267 00:16:28,485.098 --> 00:16:32,455.099 They are literally just clicking and dragging stuff around the screen. 268 00:16:33,15.099 --> 00:16:37,174.999 It is like a money laundering scheme or something like that. 269 00:16:37,175.099 --> 00:16:38,465.099 It is wild what they're doing. 270 00:16:39,205.099 --> 00:16:43,575.099 It is because, oh, wait, did you see? OK, so I guess I'll be just talking about bad animation in general. 271 00:16:43,725.098 --> 00:16:44,125.099 Let's go. 272 00:16:44,125.099 --> 00:16:44,915.098 Yeah, that's on it. 273 00:16:45,15.098 --> 00:16:47,935.098 I saw a clip from Uzumaki, the most recent episode. 274 00:16:48,165.099 --> 00:16:50,735.098 Oh, where two characters are falling down a hole. 275 00:16:51,235.099 --> 00:16:56,995.099 It's literally just a photo of two characters like a still image and they just fall. 276 00:16:57,285.099 --> 00:16:58,915.099 Yeah, that's like, oh, no, nothing. 277 00:16:59,805.099 --> 00:17:02,125.099 Every single character is like stationary. 278 00:17:02,325.099 --> 00:17:11,905.099 I watched like five minutes of the of the third episode and nobody moves like actually nobody actually moves. 279 00:17:12,5.099 --> 00:17:18,105.099 They like move them in the shot, but they themselves, the only thing that ever moves is their mouth. 280 00:17:18,105.099 --> 00:17:18,225.099 Yeah. 281 00:17:18,540.099 --> 00:17:19,780.099 That's the only thing that ever moves. 282 00:17:20,90.099 --> 00:17:27,0.099 And then like, when they zoom out, everybody on the field is stationary, except for the ball, which doesn't spin. 283 00:17:27,0.199 --> 00:17:31,670.099 So It's like, insane how, like, I've never seen something. 284 00:17:31,670.199 --> 00:17:35,889.999 We shit on seven deadly sins for so long. 285 00:17:36,910.099 --> 00:17:38,910.099 Blue lock was like, I got it. 286 00:17:40,300.099 --> 00:17:43,340.099 Blue lock literally became a motion comic. 287 00:17:43,820.099 --> 00:17:45,720.099 Then it's so crazy. 288 00:17:45,910.099 --> 00:17:47,940.099 It blows my mind every time I think about it. 289 00:17:49,100.099 --> 00:17:54,990.0985 I still want to watch the first, like, couple episodes just to see, like, how accurate it is. 290 00:17:54,990.0985 --> 00:18:03,225.099 But I've watched, like, Portions of each episode and every portion they they hit the PNG lock on on point. 291 00:18:03,225.099 --> 00:18:10,385.0985 I'm like, ah I'll get to it I'm not even I'm not even watching like I'm not even gonna hold you. 292 00:18:10,385.0985 --> 00:18:23,670.099 I'm not watching it Like how bad cuz everyone's like hoping that they're holding out for the u 20 match and I'm like, ah, I don't know about that one We got scammed man, we got scammed. 293 00:18:23,760.099 --> 00:18:27,500.099 Yeah, they, they, they baited us real hard on that one. 294 00:18:28,960.099 --> 00:18:30,590.099 That was, that's so wild. 295 00:18:31,750.099 --> 00:18:33,160.099 It sucks, man. 296 00:18:33,320.099 --> 00:18:35,370.099 Their animators must hate that show. 297 00:18:36,230.098 --> 00:18:37,390.099 Yeah, I don't know man. 298 00:18:37,785.099 --> 00:18:40,155.099 It's got to be one dude that he's just beating the shit out of me. 299 00:18:40,155.099 --> 00:18:41,125.099 Like you animate the show. 300 00:18:41,395.099 --> 00:18:45,105.099 Because like it, I don't understand how it's that bad. 301 00:18:45,335.099 --> 00:18:47,465.099 It's the same studio that did the first season. 302 00:18:47,565.099 --> 00:18:48,615.099 I genuinely don't. 303 00:18:48,625.098 --> 00:18:50,15.099 It's got to be some kind of crazy. 304 00:18:50,375.098 --> 00:18:53,705.098 Like either they're working on something else and have like a skeleton crew on the show. 305 00:18:53,935.099 --> 00:18:57,575.099 They fired everybody except for like the storyboard guy. 306 00:18:59,365.099 --> 00:18:59,575.099 Probably. 307 00:18:59,575.099 --> 00:19:02,175.099 I don't like, dude, somebody, please. 308 00:19:02,305.099 --> 00:19:07,185.099 If you're listening to this on the podcast, let us know if you know what's happening. 309 00:19:07,785.099 --> 00:19:09,205.099 I need an explanation. 310 00:19:09,205.099 --> 00:19:13,35.099 This, this is actually insanity. 311 00:19:13,325.099 --> 00:19:22,775.099 I can't think of any reason that they like would ship it like this in any other circumstance, they would have to just be like, Hey man, we need more time. 312 00:19:23,405.098 --> 00:19:26,245.098 Even before when they're like, we can't delay anything. 313 00:19:26,435.099 --> 00:19:28,675.098 They would never release this ever. 314 00:19:28,815.098 --> 00:19:29,305.098 Yeah. 315 00:19:29,865.098 --> 00:19:31,495.098 The Monica had to come to the offices. 316 00:19:32,555.099 --> 00:19:34,175.099 To be like, Hey, I want to see the blue lock offices. 317 00:19:34,175.099 --> 00:19:36,535.099 What y'all do with my anime? This. 334 00:20:03,455.099 --> 00:20:14,335.099 Blue Log is like So, Seven Deadly Sins was like It was It was bad, but it was bad at like Because it was We made fun of it because it was bad at bad times. 335 00:20:14,890.099 --> 00:20:21,880.099 So, there were very important fights that they dropped the frames on, but it was still animation, they still did it. 336 00:20:22,520.099 --> 00:20:46,165.099 So, it was like, skipping frames, it was like, real choppy, the art was like, really childish, but this one, man, they just like, snapped a screenshot of like, random stuff, and then just like, Put it in there and then hit the what was it? The Adobe after effects, the like energy wave thing comes straight out of Adobe after effects that they actually used in there. 337 00:20:46,165.199 --> 00:20:52,975.099 So this is, this is like, it was unfortunate and seven deadly sins. 338 00:20:53,155.099 --> 00:20:56,704.999 It is offensive in blue lock. 339 00:20:56,705.099 --> 00:21:00,805.098 It is like they are actively making fun of anybody who watches that show. 340 00:21:01,475.099 --> 00:21:03,275.099 Yeah, it's so ridiculous. 341 00:21:05,415.099 --> 00:21:13,85.099 Oh, I can't I can't imagine anybody like having so much disdain for their work that they're doing that they're like, man, I just want to go home. 342 00:21:13,905.099 --> 00:21:19,885.099 Do they have a home since the first season? Yeah, but yeah, I genuinely don't know what the hell is going on with that. 343 00:21:19,885.099 --> 00:21:23,265.099 But there's a lot of amazing anime this season to check out. 344 00:21:23,305.099 --> 00:21:26,465.099 I'm going to be trying to catch up with some of the ones that I've been looking forward to. 345 00:21:26,715.099 --> 00:21:27,885.099 I have watched a couple. 346 00:21:27,995.099 --> 00:21:29,765.098 I guess we can get into that before we get into the topic. 347 00:21:30,185.098 --> 00:21:31,175.098 I watched Dragon Ball Diamond. 348 00:21:31,635.099 --> 00:21:34,355.099 I watched the first two episodes, I think the third episode is out, it came out on Friday. 349 00:21:34,535.099 --> 00:21:37,645.099 So I gotta catch up with that, but I've been watching it while I was doing cardio at the gym. 350 00:21:38,95.099 --> 00:21:40,835.098 And so I watched the first two episodes, the first episode was amazing. 351 00:21:41,825.099 --> 00:21:48,815.099 Like on the opposite end, we keep like, again, it's like a rubber band and because it was like, Oh, one piece animation is amazing. 352 00:21:49,5.099 --> 00:21:49,745.099 Ooh, blue lock. 353 00:21:49,745.099 --> 00:21:50,895.099 It was Maki garbage. 354 00:21:51,155.098 --> 00:21:51,585.098 Diamonds. 355 00:21:51,585.099 --> 00:21:53,195.099 Animation is fantastic. 356 00:21:53,195.199 --> 00:21:55,865.098 I haven't actually seen any of Dima. 357 00:21:55,865.099 --> 00:21:58,665.099 I've only seen like pictures of it. 358 00:21:58,715.098 --> 00:22:02,305.099 And even in the still pictures, it looks like it would be pretty decent. 359 00:22:02,910.099 --> 00:22:05,700.099 Because the thing is, is that they didn't really do much promotion for it. 360 00:22:05,880.099 --> 00:22:06,520.099 Like, it's weird. 361 00:22:06,530.099 --> 00:22:13,830.099 They had like one PV and it just was like, no, I'm a was for until like last week when everybody was explained. 362 00:22:14,820.099 --> 00:22:15,490.099 Yeah. 363 00:22:15,600.098 --> 00:22:19,470.099 So it came out finally again is Dragon Ball month and Halloween month, I guess. 364 00:22:19,500.098 --> 00:22:23,210.1 But it's it's Dragon Ball month and Dima's been amazing so far. 365 00:22:23,210.1 --> 00:22:25,70.1 The first episode was just straight up. 366 00:22:25,495.1 --> 00:22:32,115.1 Straight up just lore, like they, they expand so much of the Dragon Ball world, which is crazy for a series that's been around for 40 years or whatever. 367 00:22:32,545.1 --> 00:22:34,985.099 And they expand a bunch of stuff and there's a lot of interesting ways to kind of set it up. 368 00:22:35,215.1 --> 00:22:42,425.099 They do the whole thing of, ah, we're gonna turn everybody young to kind of set the stage of like, oh, they don't have access to all their abilities and powers and strength. 369 00:22:43,15.1 --> 00:22:47,955.1 And then they're going to go on an adventure to this new world and try to figure out how they can, you know, stop the bad guys. 370 00:22:48,185.1 --> 00:22:49,255.1 So it's really hard in the back. 371 00:22:49,255.1 --> 00:22:51,315.1 Again, Toriyama really likes doing this. 372 00:22:51,315.1 --> 00:22:52,735.1 This is Toriyama's final work. 373 00:22:52,965.1 --> 00:22:54,785.099 He worked on Dragon Ball Super Superhero. 374 00:22:54,815.1 --> 00:23:04,565.1 He worked and counseled on some of the manga stuff and did like some things for the manga And then he wrote and directed and helped out or whatever with Daima. 375 00:23:04,605.1 --> 00:23:05,985.1 And so this is his final work. 376 00:23:05,985.1 --> 00:23:07,365.1 And so far, it's been fucking amazing. 377 00:23:07,615.1 --> 00:23:14,645.1 Again, a lot of people have worked on Dragon Ball stuff, but Nobody does it better than Toriyama for what it is, is goofy, fun, fighting manga. 378 00:23:14,835.1 --> 00:23:18,275.1 It's not Mozart or anything and crazy, but it's the best at what it is. 379 00:23:18,535.1 --> 00:23:19,375.1 And I love Dragon Ball. 380 00:23:19,375.1 --> 00:23:26,925.1 So seeing this final work be so good and treated with so much love when the super anime was poorly animated, like that is not blue lock bad. 381 00:23:27,315.099 --> 00:23:30,495.1 The super the first two seasons of Super is bad. 382 00:23:30,505.1 --> 00:23:31,735.1 That beer is Goku fight. 383 00:23:32,555.1 --> 00:23:33,945.1 Well, that was terrible. 384 00:23:33,995.1 --> 00:23:35,905.1 But it's seven deadly frames bad. 385 00:23:35,905.1 --> 00:23:39,65.1 It's not like Bulak, which is pretty bad, though. 386 00:23:40,145.1 --> 00:23:40,975.1 It is bad. 387 00:23:41,125.099 --> 00:23:43,285.1 I remember being like, I'm not even going to watch this. 388 00:23:43,285.1 --> 00:23:45,145.1 Like, I straight up just stop watching super. 389 00:23:45,425.1 --> 00:23:49,905.099 And I just rewatched the original because the first two seasons are just the retelling of the super movies. 390 00:23:50,235.099 --> 00:23:53,885.1 So it's the Battle of Gods movie and revival of Frieza. 391 00:23:53,945.1 --> 00:23:54,725.1 And it's literally just. 392 00:23:55,35.1 --> 00:24:12,795.1 Taken and spread out between 24 episode seasons and it's animated so badly, but it is like a whole thing because a lot of the animators that got pulled off for one piece to do the one piece film red movie and it's so they had like a new team of people animating super and I guess they just couldn't get it together and couldn't figure out how to work together. 393 00:24:13,95.1 --> 00:24:15,305.1 So, like, for the first, like, two season, it looked really bad. 394 00:24:15,305.1 --> 00:24:17,615.1 They got a better flight tournament power and go black art. 395 00:24:17,625.1 --> 00:24:20,695.1 Those are really good, but the quality wasn't really up to snuff to me. 396 00:24:20,745.1 --> 00:24:23,445.1 And you know, it was, it was good, it was good, but it wasn't really like great. 397 00:24:23,545.1 --> 00:24:24,995.1 Dymo looks movie quality. 398 00:24:24,995.1 --> 00:24:25,505.1 It's amazing. 399 00:24:25,825.1 --> 00:24:26,815.1 So I've been really enjoying it. 400 00:24:26,835.1 --> 00:24:29,405.099 The action that we have seen hasn't been too much, but it's really cool. 401 00:24:29,405.099 --> 00:24:33,795.1 You want to know what is a really cool thing that happens in Dymo? So the first episode starts off with these characters. 402 00:24:34,120.1 --> 00:24:39,90.1 Sitting up there on the screen and rewatching events from the anime because they're trying to learn about the Z fighters and how to beat them. 403 00:24:39,850.1 --> 00:24:48,560.099 And you get to see a bunch of moments from like the Cell Saga or not really from Cell Saga, but through Dragon Ball history, mostly Boo, reanimated in the Daima animation. 404 00:24:49,420.1 --> 00:24:52,500.1 And oh my God, it looks so good. 405 00:24:52,510.1 --> 00:24:55,925 You get to see Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan 2 Goku versus Majin Vegeta. 406 00:24:56,235.1 --> 00:24:59,355.1 Like how they fight starts with him in the tournament and then they're fighting each other. 407 00:24:59,385.1 --> 00:25:06,25.099 I was like, I want them to redo Z, give us the, the dragon ball, like they do with the one piece. 408 00:25:06,255.1 --> 00:25:06,865.1 Give it again. 409 00:25:07,755.1 --> 00:25:09,615.1 It's so good. 410 00:25:10,15.099 --> 00:25:10,595.0995 Oh my God. 411 00:25:10,595.0995 --> 00:25:14,635.099 And they keep giving us these teases because when the Dragon Ball Broly movie came out. 412 00:25:15,225.1 --> 00:25:19,105.1 They reanimated like a lot of or Dragon Ball Super Super Hero. 413 00:25:19,265.1 --> 00:25:21,165.1 They reanimated a bunch of Dragon Ball. 414 00:25:21,385.1 --> 00:25:25,455.1 It's gotta like re, you know, re educate people on the Red Ribbon Army. 415 00:25:25,455.1 --> 00:25:27,255.1 Because they're the main villains of Super Hero. 416 00:25:27,715.1 --> 00:25:30,175.1 So you get to see all this like kid Goku going around fighting people. 417 00:25:30,175.1 --> 00:25:31,715.1 To fight Red Ribbon Army and do all this stuff. 418 00:25:31,715.1 --> 00:25:34,140.0995 And Demon King Piccolo in a tournament. 419 00:25:34,140.0995 --> 00:25:37,650.1 And it looks I was like, do this. 420 00:25:37,700.1 --> 00:25:38,820.1 I want this. 421 00:25:39,180.1 --> 00:25:40,50.1 You know, I love Dragon Ball. 422 00:25:40,50.1 --> 00:25:42,70.1 I love Dragon Ball Z, but I would love them to redo it. 423 00:25:42,70.1 --> 00:25:45,560.1 So a new generation will be able to get into it without the watch show from the 80s. 424 00:25:46,70.1 --> 00:25:55,270 But yeah, man, the Dragon Ball has been amazing, but that's pretty much all I've really seen from this the season so far because I haven't had time to like sit down and plunk down and watch some anime. 425 00:25:55,270.1 --> 00:26:18,220.101 But yeah Yeah, anything that you've been watching that's caught your eye from this fall season so far, other than Don to Don? I mean, Don to Don, We, we only caught the first episode of Don Machi and it's, it introduced a lot of questions to me that they just like threw Seer into the limelight and it was like, it was kind of strange. 426 00:26:18,835.101 --> 00:26:24,505.101 Because everybody seems to be like connected to her, but they never talked about it before. 427 00:26:25,45.101 --> 00:26:29,795.101 So after just the first episode, Sears, the white haired maid chick. 428 00:26:31,660.101 --> 00:26:32,560.101 Oh, yeah. 429 00:26:32,570.101 --> 00:26:38,100.101 At the end of, in the first season, she's the one that brought Belle to the the Monster Festival. 430 00:26:38,920.1 --> 00:26:44,850.101 But, like, they didn't answer any questions, but they hinted at a lot of, like, her connections. 431 00:26:45,80.1 --> 00:26:49,435.001 If I had to take a guess, I would say that she's like Freya's half daughter. 432 00:26:49,835.101 --> 00:26:50,585.101 Or something. 433 00:26:51,95.101 --> 00:26:52,35.101 Oh. 434 00:26:52,145.101 --> 00:26:57,635.101 Because Freya's familiar is like interacting with knowledge of Seer a lot. 435 00:26:58,255.1 --> 00:27:02,385.101 And like, they're all acting like she's some kind of royalty. 436 00:27:03,185.101 --> 00:27:05,925.101 But at the same time, she works as a maid. 437 00:27:06,750.101 --> 00:27:23,40.1 So like she has to be kind of like on an outskirts and I was like this is I don't know what the fuck is going on But it is it is interesting that it is having to make me think about the connections of this character five seasons into the series So that was I like I like that. 438 00:27:23,40.102 --> 00:27:40,760.101 I hope that they don't just like leave that Unanswered I like they're making me think about it for right now Otherwise the world's most notorious talker was is still pretty good It kind of, I can see it going really generic. 439 00:27:41,460.101 --> 00:28:02,140.1 Very quickly, if they're not careful, because they just introduced the character that was like, really powerful, and then they're gonna, They, they did like a showcase for her ability, and she's just like, obscenely powerful, and then he can buff her, and so it's like this is either gonna be a cakewalk, or it's gonna be really cool. 440 00:28:02,155.2 --> 00:28:11,945.099 She ends up, if she ends up just being OP and she just runs over everything because of his buffs, then it's like, ah, well, pulling an Osan right now. 441 00:28:11,945.1 --> 00:28:14,895.099 And it's going to become the most okay est again. 442 00:28:16,115.1 --> 00:28:20,585.1 But if, if they have things that they can actually like fight against normally. 443 00:28:21,5.1 --> 00:28:22,25.1 Then it should be fine. 444 00:28:22,25.1 --> 00:28:22,635.1 It should be good. 445 00:28:24,245.1 --> 00:28:29,115.1 There's other than that, I don't think I have anything that's like, really stepped out. 446 00:28:29,115.1 --> 00:28:31,25.099 I mean, take a quick look. 447 00:28:31,25.1 --> 00:28:35,785.099 I know that Sharp brought up fairy tale and like fairy tale. 448 00:28:36,5.099 --> 00:28:37,219.999 I mean, fairy tale is just fairy tale. 449 00:28:37,850.099 --> 00:28:40,690.099 Fairytale still be fairytale and you have every time I see anything. 450 00:28:40,690.099 --> 00:28:42,150.099 I'm just like, Oh yeah, it's more fairytale. 451 00:28:42,150.199 --> 00:28:43,440.099 They fight stuff. 452 00:28:43,470.099 --> 00:28:44,410.099 Natsu's eating fire. 453 00:28:44,610.099 --> 00:28:46,540.099 He's on a mode of transportation. 454 00:28:46,540.099 --> 00:28:47,400.099 He get nauseous. 455 00:28:47,510.099 --> 00:28:48,260.099 It's fairytale. 456 00:28:48,340.099 --> 00:28:52,220.099 I think I watched the first episode of Shangri La Frontier, and I don't even remember. 457 00:28:53,530.099 --> 00:28:54,140.1 That's not good. 458 00:28:55,870.099 --> 00:28:56,270.098 I can't. 459 00:28:56,280.099 --> 00:28:58,480.099 Well, I can't remember what the first episode was. 460 00:28:58,480.099 --> 00:29:01,240.099 It might have just been like the last episode of the previous season. 461 00:29:01,430.099 --> 00:29:05,710.099 And I still got to finish the last couple of episodes because I just felt like it was just like wrap up shit. 462 00:29:06,110.099 --> 00:29:07,710.099 And I was like, Oh, I'll just wait for next season to come out. 463 00:29:07,770.099 --> 00:29:10,350.098 I just watch those all in like a chunk and get ready for the new season. 464 00:29:10,840.099 --> 00:29:11,460.099 And I haven't done it yet. 465 00:29:11,900.099 --> 00:29:14,750.099 Other than that, like Tower of God still kind of sucking. 466 00:29:15,560.099 --> 00:29:16,890.099 I can't believe I'm still watching it. 467 00:29:16,930.099 --> 00:29:17,930.099 It's still going. 468 00:29:17,960.099 --> 00:29:19,240.099 I can't believe I'm still watching it. 469 00:29:20,790.099 --> 00:29:21,490.099 Tension. 470 00:29:21,770.099 --> 00:29:22,750.099 Tension is moving on. 471 00:29:22,780.099 --> 00:29:25,790.099 Tension is introduced to the Kunoichi lady. 472 00:29:26,765.099 --> 00:29:32,795.099 So that's, it's still animated very well for like it just being like a remaster of the old stuff. 473 00:29:32,845.099 --> 00:29:33,365.099 I like it. 474 00:29:33,825.099 --> 00:29:34,655.099 I'm enjoying it. 475 00:29:35,240.099 --> 00:29:42,500.099 The, one of the surprise ones, I was like decent for like three seasons ago that we actually talked about as, as a reincarnated aristocrat. 476 00:29:42,500.099 --> 00:29:44,670.099 I'll use my appraisal skill to rise in the world. 477 00:29:44,960.098 --> 00:29:48,110.099 They're season two, also very good. 478 00:29:48,500.099 --> 00:29:56,860.099 They're, they're shining a, they're shining a limelight on like the main characters, like Beyonce or betrothed in this case. 479 00:29:57,340.099 --> 00:30:00,290.099 So she, she is very, she's kind of stepping up. 480 00:30:00,370.099 --> 00:30:01,650.099 She's showing off what she's got. 481 00:30:02,250.099 --> 00:30:05,700.099 I, I appreciate the effort that they've gone in and it is animated very well. 482 00:30:05,950.099 --> 00:30:11,270.099 It's, it's not like high action most of the time, but like, even the low bits are, are pretty smooth. 483 00:30:11,280.099 --> 00:46:50,285.099 He did all that for free as a as a apology to Akira Toriyama, which is really, really cool, really cool story. 768 00:46:50,625.098 --> 00:46:55,825.099 So hourly rates for voice actors typically can range from 50 to 200 per hour. 769 00:46:55,835.099 --> 00:46:59,815.099 However, some voice actors with a lot of experience may charge more than 200 per hour. 770 00:47:00,100.099 --> 00:47:03,430.099 Going between five cents to 20 cents per word. 771 00:47:04,130.099 --> 00:47:04,990.099 Oh, my God. 772 00:47:06,780.099 --> 00:47:13,900.099 I tried to become a voice actor for a while with with my voice and then the voice like the coaches I had, he was like, Hey, I know you want to do anime and stuff. 773 00:47:14,220.099 --> 00:47:15,320.099 It does not pay well. 774 00:47:15,460.099 --> 00:47:17,360.099 I'm going to learn you how to do commercial work. 775 00:47:17,600.099 --> 00:47:18,790.099 And things like that first. 776 00:47:18,820.099 --> 00:47:19,850.099 So you have some fall back on. 777 00:47:19,850.099 --> 00:47:24,800.099 I was like, Oh, and then like whenever I went to a convention, you listen to you know, like anime dubbing, you know, voice actors and everything like that. 778 00:47:24,800.099 --> 00:47:26,60.099 Talk about they're like, yeah, it's no money in that. 779 00:47:26,60.099 --> 00:47:28,820.099 We do video games and stuff like that for money or commercial work for money. 780 00:47:28,820.099 --> 00:47:31,100.098 And then, you know, you animate for passion. 781 00:47:31,220.099 --> 00:47:32,650.0985 And I was like, right, right, right. 782 00:47:32,650.0985 --> 00:47:33,360.098 That makes sense. 783 00:47:33,620.099 --> 00:47:34,420.098 But I need to pay bills. 784 00:47:36,120.099 --> 00:47:36,730.099 But anyway, all right. 785 00:47:36,750.099 --> 00:47:39,590.099 To go back to JJK, because I do want to talk about JJK, because I love JJK. 786 00:47:40,440.099 --> 00:47:46,430.099 Outside of Gojo, there are a little like fun tidbits with Gege just as a mangaka, which kind of on top of a kind of not. 787 00:47:46,750.099 --> 00:47:47,440.099 That he dislikes. 788 00:47:47,450.099 -->
