The Revival Movement - Biblical Encouragement, Financial Freedom, Bible Study, Christian CEO, Faith-led Time Management

Are you sick of the side hustle, growing to do lists, and obsessing about how to make more money? Do you want to slow down and seek God first in your business? Is your day consumed with social media strategy, content creation, and email maketing? Would you love to have more time in the day to be more present with your family? Does it seem like even with time management and business systems you still can’t be organized? (I mean, wouldn’t it be great if you had an afternoon free to meal prep?!) Do you know you need to do things differently but trying to figure it out feels too overwhelming? If you’ve said yes to any of these then girl, you’re in the right place! Welcome to The Revival Movement, where we are ditching #bossbabe culture and putting our worth and identity in Christ, not in worldy success. Hey, I’m Beth, wife, mom, bible study enthusiast, and ambitious entrepreneur of 20 years. Even as a Christian woman, I fell victim to the #bossbabe #hustle culture. I was obsessed with making more money, I chased wealth for all the wrong reasons, and it drove me to my knees in total burnout. I finally realized that my dream life, my financial freedom and my purpose rested in God’s hands, not mine. I needed to surrender my business to Him, and once I stopped striving and started seeking, everything changed. I found the peace and purpose I’d been longing for, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve learned with you! If you’re ready to stop obsessing about making more money, to be more present with your family, and to intentionally seek God in your life and business, this podcast is for you! Dust off that Bible girl, it’s time to stop doing things the way you’ve been doing them and follow Jesus to a dream life far more abundant than the one you put on your vision board!

Emotional discounting is a buzz-phrase in the service industry and that's because it's all too common. The key is getting to the root of why you are doing it. I boil it down to three reasons.

No matter that reason, or combination of, we need to renew our mindset, do identity work, and check our ego at the door.

Listen in and tell me what you think!

#ILYSM XOXO, Beth

P.S. I would also love to know what you think about the mini-reb...

Bible Study Fellowship - Magnifying God and Maturing His People. (bsfinternational.org)

There is the link above to the bible study I mention!

Jesus’s promises are ultimately for eternity but we are called to hold fast to our faith here on earth until the end. We can persevere and hold true to His word as a Christian woman and it can reflect in our small business and journey through entrepreneurship.

It is important to not comprom...

Building your faith and getting to know who God is, is key to peace in your life through the journey of entrepreneurship. If you want to hear God's voice as you slow down and seek Him first in your business it begins with knowing WHO He is. He says, "my sheep hear my voice." We have to surrender and submit (a bad word these days) to Him being our Shephard in order to hear His voice. We also need to get to know Him. How can we trust...

In the #bossbabe culture of hustle being glorified and the constant pursuit of more, we, as Christian entrepreneurs, often succumb to burnout.

Six figures, 10k months, scaling your business, the perfect email marketing, the perfect passive income funnel, the social media content, and the social networking, time management systems, all promise us freedom, but at what cost? Is it actually a trap? I believe so.

It's time to slow dow...

I thought "comparison is a thief of joy" was a bible verse, it isn't! It's actually a famous quote by Teddy Roosevelt, I wonder if it was Holy Spirit inspired?

Nonetheless, it is something to think about, and directs us to some biblical encouragement and thinking.

As an entrepreneur, even as a Christian entrepreneur, the struggle with imposter sydrome is real, and the temptation is everywhere! Thanks to social media, we can see e...

As entrepreneurs we are typically systemized, planned, and strategize everything to death. It's not always easy to go with the flow and do things spirit led when you are in a strategy mindset. We can seek inspiration from scripture and lean into biblical encouragement when it comes to implementing faith into our small business or side hustle, but paying attention to the Holy Spirit is key!

I hope you enjoy this episode as I chat ab...

In the hustle of entrepreneurship and the noise of social media, email marketing, content creation, business systems, and time management it's normal to feel like you cannot hear God's voice. Are you praying for guidance and direction but feel like He is silent? It may seem that way but He is always speaking, and there is a way to get direction for that next one step you need to take in your business and life. I had an ah-hah momen...

Sometimes when we don't hear God's voice it is easy to feel stuck and overwhelmed. Do we act? Do we wait to have more clarity? What if we make the wrong move? What if we make a mistake? We don't always get to know.

A great way to hear God's voice if you feel stuck is to get off social media, stop texting your friends for advice, and open your bible, get quiet, and pray.

And sometimes waiting IS the action.

There is no perfect bl...

I pray this biblical encouragement blesses you friend!

Do you feel like you get stuck when it comes to making decisions? If you want to seek God first in your business but struggle to hear His voice or discern His plans, that’s a normal thing. An entry in my current devotional -  My Upmost for His Highest - by Oswald Chambers, is the inspso for this episode. Chambers had an outlook on seeing things clearly in our minds and of course, my brain went to how we apply this in entrepreneursh...

I am seeing too many Christian entrepreneurs look to their personality test and human design to  guide them in their business decsions. This is dangerous territory my friend. I am not saying there isn't phsychology behind our personalities and personality type groupings but ulitimately, looking to that instead of looking to your shephard is idolitry. And Human design, it is 100% counterfiet to God's Truth. You are HIS design. You a...

If you’re husting and constantly trying to beat the algorithm have you ever stopped and asked yourself “why?” I’m not saying it doesn’t work for you but let’s deep dive into the “why” behind the struggle and pressure behind keeping up with social media and how it applies to your business and life.

Is the stress worth it? Better question, is God calling you to be there, on social media? If you need to be on social that's fine, but h...

As an entrepreneur, the whole point of having a business is to make money and be successful, correct? As a Christian, we also know that choosing God’s will is our ultimate purpose in life, so how do we do both? What if God calls you do to something that isn’t going to be successful by the world's standards? What if the business He calls you to, or asks you to pivot into, isn’t going to generate six-figures? Do we bag it? Or follow ...

In this episode we’ll chat about financial security. Is it REALLY security, or a false sense of security? Do you get nervous when you don’t know the entire blueprint, then start controlling or over planning? Are you afraid to take the risk when God calls you to act on something without showing you the end game? Let's renew our money mindset and sense of security in Christ not wealth, and a new perspective on financial freedom and p...

Is your nevrous system stuck in fight or flight mode?

Are you constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop?

When we are waiting for the bad thing to happen, we are tricking ourselves into thinking that we can predict the future.

Only God is sovereign. We do not hold the power to predict the future so why do we try to? As a Christian entrepreneur is is easy to get bogged down by the stresses of the looming economy, election year, ...

Today we are talking about identity. Where is yours rooted? Your business? Wealth? Success? Material things? Your kids? Your social media following? Or is it rooted in Christ? If you would've asked me I would have said of course it's rooted in being the daughter of the King…but my perception of my loyalty was greatly skewed and God had to knock me off my high horse. What do you think of your identity?
