Speaker 1 (00:14):
Coming to you live from the Cross Country Mortgage Campus
in Barrie, Ohio. This is Cleveland Browns Daily on eight
fifty ESPN Cleveland, presented by bally Bett Sportsbook, an official
sports betting partner of your Cleveland Browns. Please bet responsibly.
Here are your hosts, Bo Bishop and Nathan Zegura.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
That'ser live on a football Friday issue of Cleveland Browns Daily.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
I am merely Bo. He is the great z. How
you living, Buddy, I'm great. Here we go, right here
we go. J E t S, Jets, Jets, Jets. It's time.
Time to get a win, time to have some good feelings.
I mean, I'm still riding high a little bit. We
had a great time at the coaches show last night
out at Rastles. I want to take everybody who came out,
came for the event. My call was great, Ken and

(01:20):
I had a blast. Ceciliano was in the house. Yeah.
We ended up hanging out a little bit watching the game.
And by the way, but we know that the ball
is not gonna spike itself. So I don't mean to
toot my own horn, but are our own horn. Thank
you ours to too. We told you the Broncos don't
blow people out. No, they Raiders. It's going to be close.
The Broncos are gonna win. Yeah, but the Raiders are
going to be right there. Ten to seven. What do

(01:40):
you want You're welcome, You're welcome. What do you want
to say? How many? How many victories are any? How
many we have to pay for?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
How many private school educations that we paid for on
this program here?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I think it's a number. It's a number that would
make us blush.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
So Beamsy I'm watching with Beams last night and he goes,
He goes, gosh, Dad, these are great. These are great,
And I said, you're right, they do. And he goes,
why doesn't everybody just do this? Great ques, great question?
They're beautiful. That one that was the most esthetically pleasing
football game.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
That was awful. Yeah, And I like those Raiders with
the silver numbers. I think they're really cool.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
That's the old AFL, the snake stablers.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Those are really clean. But like that that Broncos kit
is just do you think it?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Do you think the it's one of two. My theory
on it is. And I know some of this is
true that once the NFL went to a uniform uniform
policy I think the first universal uniform supplier was Rebok
if memory serves, the Cciliana's here.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
To make logo athletic.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
But they were, but that was some teams, but not
all because some were Wilson, some were Russell like it
was Russell kind.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Of do all your own.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And then in the late nineties Rebok got all of it,
and the early two thousands and they had all the
crazy piping stuff. Yeah, and then Nike and then it
was Nike picked up after that and one of things,
and I know this just from dealing with my friends
in Ohio State. One thing that Nike wants, and you
understand because it's good business, is they want uniformity. So
they don't want a billion different shades of red. They

(03:11):
want a couple shades of red. They don't want fifteen
shades of navy. And same thing in the NFL. So
like if you see a royal blue with the Rams,
then that royal blue. If another team wants it, it's
going to be that Ram royal blue. Like our orange
and the Bengals orange now looks the same Versus if
you look at our uniforms from the eighties, are brown

(03:31):
is much lighter than that I'm sorry. Our orange is
much lighter than theirs, so I think that's part of it.
And then the other thing I do wonder because I
don't remember thinking anything of those uniforms at the time,
and those ones were shoved down our throat a lot
in the Rocky Mountain region. I think HDTV, I think
really pops with with HDTV.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
So all right, I'm making just a quick list off
the top of my head right here. I like it.
I like a list of who needs to go back
to their throwback uniforms full time, immediately, all right, okay, immediate,
immediate go back, And then whose current uniforms are actually

(04:12):
better than their throwbacks, and then who has just the
classics that are they're just wearing. It's the same ba's,
it just is what it is.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Steelers, Bears, Packers, yes, right, Steelers Bears exactly.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Niners Chiefs I think are pretty all the same. So
I'm going through this right now. That's another one I
want to add to go back to.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Well, you just want to go division by division, I'll
go division by okay, fine, AFC East a FC.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I need to go stand ins AFC AFC East Patriots
absolutely need to go back I think pat the Patriot,
I think is the best.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
All right, here's my pushback. You're right, it's better, but
also all of their successes flying Elvis.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
They can wear the Brady's but not the Blood SOE's,
and I don't like these current ones as much as
I like the Brady's.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Fine, these are basically a modern version of the Brady's.
I think the pat I think that the pat the
Patriot is the alternate and make sure it's always there. Sure,
but I think the greatness of them to me is
with this, with flying.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Elvis, that's fine, okay, but I like that, but that's
still a throwback relative to what they have right now.
Bills are great. Bill's current is better than their throwbacks.
That's that's the one that I actually have there. Dolphins
throwback easy, Jets throwback easy, and I think that's where.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Do we go because right now they're wearing the New
York sack exchange.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
So there's that. And then they have the name and
I like.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
The name me too. I like the name of the
most too. Yes, that that's that's my favorite Jets uniform.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
All right. AFC North Steelers are already in the classic
Baltimore's pretty close. Yeah, yeah, Bengals, I'd go back. I
wouldn't want the one where it says Bengals, but kind
of like the original striped helme uniform they said flying

(06:03):
the Leaping Leap, Yeah, which was cool. Yeah, that one's
pretty good. I like they're all white though, with the
white helmet. Is that's a great one. That's all that
should be the permanent alternate and then they have those
so I put them kind of in the throwback.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
They they're pretty clear, pretty close, and we have were
in the classic.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
The South the Colts film feel very much like the classic.
And I like that alternate where they have that deep
blue helmet that has the little.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
The little ones on the back. Yeah, I remember that.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I enjoy that the Jags have gone back to more
of a classic.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Well, and they're wearing their classic uniforms now every once
in a while, which I would go with it.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I would just wear those, yeah, agreed. I would not
go to the arrow where they had the two toned helmet.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
No.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I did think those jerseys were pretty good, but the
helmets were a disaster, yes, because they had a lot
more black and they the ones they have now don't
have a lot of teal on them.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
I like, there's not much. No the I will also
say that they're color rush when they used to introduce
the color rush when it was the monochromatic or the
worst color USh uniforms. Because it's the Mustard one that
they did that was dreadful.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah, that was bad.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah that was Mustard as being kind to it. By
the way, there are many other young boy I'm right
in there, right in the middle of them. Know what
that is?

Speaker 4 (07:14):
All right?

Speaker 3 (07:14):
The Houston Texans need to wear the oilers. Yeah, just
take these two and swap them. Yeah, they just wear
the oilers, don't be Amy Adams. Give them back. Is
there a Tyler's uniform that your love?

Speaker 6 (07:26):
No?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I never thought they landed the plane on it, you know.
I suppose the white helmet Eddie Georgie's are better than
what they have now. But I don't know. I don't
I don't know that they ever landed the plane on.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
The me neither. I don't have them in any category.
But definitely the oilers need to be the Texans need
to be the oilers, right, agreed? All right, Denver, no question,
no doubt, easy chargers. I think they're great, right, now,
but just wear the baby blues a lot.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Just they go all yellow, all yellow. Throw that the
Navy was okay a as a one off, it was Yeah,
that was fine.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
That was fine. But I think they're current, you know,
all right, Chiefs and Raiders are both classics. Yeah, here's
one NFC. I say, Eagles Kelly Green is perfect. I
love the Kelly Green, so I have them in the throwback.
Dallas is basically the same. Yep, Washington, go back to
that throwback. Yeah they warm yet Monday. They look great.
That was great. The Giants I have in here to

(08:20):
go to throwback and I actually love I'm crazy. Maybe
I love the Mark Bovaro's so that dark blue helmet.
Love it.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
They have a dark blue helmet then, like it's more
of a royal royal royal jersey.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Yeah, it's an interesting one. The ones that they've been with.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Are like kind of the Frank Gifford ero like way
back for a while. Either way, I think either way
they're pretty good. I could be talked.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Into those to the eighties ones though they look good.
Those are pretty good. Yeah, And it's funny because their
success is more in the Elis, which are very different
than well.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
That's kind of what they're still wearing though. They just
they had a gray pant and a royal blue. Yeah,
it's pretty much the Jersey side. I like the give
me the phil Sims Bavaros. Yep, all right, Packers are
classic Lions. I kind of liked what the Lions have done.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
I think they rushed it. I think there.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Like a modern version of a classic. I think they
I think they got it right.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
With what and I like when they wear the black.
I think the.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Throwback one that they wore, the berry Thanksgiving ones, those
are really cool when they break those out.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yeah, Bears are classic Vikings. I want to go back
to I know where you're going. That dark purple helmet.
I love those a Vikings uniform. You like that mismatch. Yeah,
they're very I mean their uniforms they have now are
really awesome. They just have the purples matching versus the
purples not. But yeah, they the ones they have now
are really nice. Yeah, they have in the eighties. We're

(09:43):
good too, though. Bucks immediate throwback. Yes, Panthers.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Here's something that's interesting on Carolina. It's pretty interesting that,
for as automatic as it is to have black on
a uniform. They are them and the Ravens are the
two teams in this league that really should probably be
in all black. I mean their mascot is that, and
their primary is the blue over the silver. Yeah, I
mean they don't even have they have a silver helmet
is their primary? Like why did they not when they

(10:10):
launched them? Just have an all black uniform? Same thing
with the Ravens and the Ravens ones they were the
most are purple.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
I have a question for you. Yeah, why is Carolina
because it's kind of like a blue with teal feeling.
Why isn't it just Carolina blue, black and silver?

Speaker 2 (10:29):
You said it because Carolina wouldn't let them, That's why.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Yeah, they didn't.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
They couldn't get that close to Carolina so back in
the day. And they've actually had a bunch of different
shades of it.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Like more teal and less.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yeah, they've had it, sure, they've they've kind of moved
it all over the map. Just the Pantones have changed,
if you will.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I had remember back in the day, there was a
time where you could get great jerseys that were made
overseas at a discount. So I got I had a
cam Newton that actually came in a perfect carro line
of blue really and I'm like, this is the best jersey.
That's what it should be.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
It was.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
It was one of my fair I could have it somewhere,
sell in my in a box somewhere in my closet,
but that one, I'm like, this is perfect wear that
just do that. Yeah, they that that was it.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
But I think that if I remember right, I think
the issue was they were too close to Carolina and that.
But there Carolina Panthers, the tar Hills are like, yeah, no,
you can't do that.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
They have black and silver and that. Come on, relax,
you get you don't get to ona color. Well, the
Houston Oilers do so obnoxious by them, all right. Falcons
immediate immediate return to the Jeff Georges, which are spectacular,
and then you can mix it the red on the
Barkowskis with the red Helms, Gerald Riggs Saints, Jeff Georges.

(11:42):
They are the Jeff Georges, Deon Sanders, Jeff George's Saints.
Go ahead Saints are kind of feel like pretty similar. Ye,
Seahawks immediate immediate throwback. Yeah, they're a little bit.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Now, I'm not as big on that there there are
similar to New England for me though, and that their
best team wore what they wear now. The Legion of
Boom wore the Navy with the bright yellow b C.
Consistently led the league in fumbles in those uniforms.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Remember his hands. People always complaining about a very small hands,
Steve Largent.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Oh, I know a lot of greatness, but like he
won a Super Bowl with it. Of course, Legion of Boom.
Kurt Warre to me that those should be the throwbacks. Yeah,
the Legion of Boom ones are the throwbacks. That's fine,
as long as they wear both of them always. It's yeah,
all right, Rams Dickerson.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah, I mean, how could you not? That's it.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
And then you use the the blue and white ones
with yes, are those gone?

Speaker 4 (12:43):
They're gone?

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, because the.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Blue and white helme goes back to Deacon Justineke and
Jones Merlin Olson Era.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good one. Yes for Browns backers northwards, Yes,
those are Jeff Georgia, Eric Metcalfs, I agree, Niners. I
think you you go with what you've got, but then
you also have to mix in the ninety four.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
What they're doing it right now with the uniform is perfect.
That they've got it. They got it sorted cardinals.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
I had a guy on. Let me tell you.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I had a guy on when they were doing their
new uniforms and he goes, I'm gonna be honest with you,
I think that they And he was a guy who
is from from Arizona.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
It's from Phoenix area. This I used to do two
a days.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
I still do it.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
But like we had him on, this is right when
they were doing the uniforms, and he said, I'm gonna
be honest with you, I think they should get rid
of the bird.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Of course they're not. The Arizona Cardinals doesn't know. He goes,
it's ridiculous, Like they should rebrand it. There's a single
cardinal in the state. No, he goes, we.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Should rebrand it. Minimum they should take the bird off
the helmet and javelinas perhaps fine road runners road run,
lots of them.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Lots of things you could do. See the video by
the way of the coyote and the roadrunner that just
came up. Something exciting happened. We have breaking No, we

Rich Samini joining us ESPN, NFL Nation Jets Reporter. Rich,
thank you so much for taking the time. Kind of
a quiet week for you over there. I guess let's
start there. How is this? How was the trade deadline
received by the fans in the room by former Jets
players who live in the area. How did this all land?

Speaker 5 (16:00):
Well, good to be with you, first of all, and
I would say, well, I think that the reaction among
fans was generally positive. Anytime you're selling hope for the future,
I think the fans tend to buy in, at least
Jet fans, do you know.

Speaker 7 (16:18):
Maybe they're gullible and they're just you.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Know, worn down by losing. So I think it was
generally positive among fans. The players were obviously stunned, shocked.
I think there were some hurt feelings for sure. I
mean Garrett Wilson yesterday saying I hate it, I hate it,
you know. But I think there was some confusion among
players about the direction of the team. I mean, these

(16:42):
these were not troublemakers or like over the hill guys.
I mean these are two guys in the primes of
their career, especially Sauce Gardner. I think he's twenty four,
you know, going on twenty five, a guy you know
who's the top five at his position. Quinnin was a
little older, but still not an old player.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
Twenty eight is not old.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
So yeah, a lot of shock and I'm curious to
see how they respond on Sunday, because I can tell
you I just got a weird vibe all week in
the locker room players.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
This didn't sit well with some players.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
I can tell you that, Rich.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
I don't know the timing of all of this, but
just because I do some business down in Columbus, I
know that Nick Mangold's funeral was Tuesday out out in
New Jersey. Did those things? Did the timing of that
work to the point where that was what they were
doing was known while while Nick was being memorialized.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
Here's what happens. In fact, I have a story on
ESPN dot com today pretty much like a TikTok of
the entire.

Speaker 7 (17:46):
Day and how it went down.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
I was at the funeral, and I was it let
out about.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
You know.

Speaker 7 (17:54):
First of all, I saw.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Darren Moogie the Jets GM walk into the funeral. He
was a little late, but it hadn't started yet.

Speaker 7 (18:01):
He just kind of flipped in. He stayed in the.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Back of the church and stood throughout the mass and
then left a little bit early. Had a very seemed
very distracted. And so I saw him and it's like, Okay,
the trading deadline in five hours.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
I get it.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
There's a lot of stuff going on At that point,
no one knew, and I just happened to be standing
outside the church when it was over. This was about
twelve maybe twelve forty five, and the phone started blowing
up with the sauce Gardner trade and that's when the
first trade happened, and then about an hour and a
half the later.

Speaker 7 (18:34):
The Quinn Williams trade happened.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Somuji left the church, went back to the Jets facility,
which is only two miles from the church, got back
there and finalized the sauce feeal now they were sitting
on the sauce deal that was very close to the
goal line when he went to the church, but he
asked Chris Ballard, the coach GM, to keep it under
wraps just out of sensitivity for the day. They didn't

(18:56):
want the word leaking out before or during the mass,
creating a distraction. So Ballard kept his word and everything
stayed quiet until it dropped around twelve forty five.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
It was a wild It was definitely a wild thing
to kind of see this go down for the Jets,
that team to give up those young guys. Now they
have all these draft picks. What is their kind of approach.
Do you think to the final nine games, because this
is a team that just won for the first time,
they were reticent to at least early in the week,
you know, commit to Justin Field, who won them that game.

(19:33):
What's their mindset? What are they trying to accomplish.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Yeah, that's a great question. I mean he listened to
Eric Glenn, you know.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
I mean, look, most of these.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Organizations, I mean, the Browns and the Jets are kind
of been parallel, you know, universes the last twenty or
so years, just you know, really struggling. And so I mean,
of course the Jets Glenn today saying that the team's
in a great frame of mind, they had a great
practic this week, YadA, YadA, YadA. You know, every coach
says that and that they're going to be motivated to

(20:05):
go out there. I am not so sure, just from
the vibe I got from the locker room. First of all,
you lost two of your best defensive players, so their defense,
which was ranked twenty eighth and scoring with those guys,
is now going to be really hard pressed to put
a respectable product on the field. So it's going to

(20:26):
be very very interesting. I mean, I think Jet to
half the Jet Nation probably wants them to tank just
so they get a high draft pick and can get
a quarterback. Of course, now with all that draft capital,
they can maneuver around the draft board and go get
a quarterback if they if they really like one.

Speaker 6 (20:42):
In the draft.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Do you get the sense that Aaron Glenn is one
hundred percent safe?

Speaker 7 (20:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Going in next year?

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Yeah yeah, Well, winning that game a couple of weeks
ago once Cincinnati was big for him. I don't think
the front officer, the ownership had any thoughts of firing
him after one year. I mean, they're given it. They
paid him a lot of money. He got at least
ten million a year, so they are not about to
eat forty million dollars. But that win, certainly from a

(21:18):
public relations standpoint, bolstered his cause. And the fact that
they made these trades I think bolsters his cause even
more because it just essentially is signaling the start of
a rebuild and so buys him a little bit more time.
Never for a second that I think he was in
jeopardy of losing his job after one year. But I

(21:40):
think I think he's rock solid in there. The ownership,
the owner really believes in him and their GM Darren Mougi.

Speaker 7 (21:48):
For his sake.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
I hope Garon Glenn's around in twenty twenty seven when
they have these draft picks, you know, because if they
get off to an Owens seventh Owens the seventh start
next year, he might not be around to make those picks.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Rich what's he doing with the quarterback thing? Like the
not name in the fields? I'm reading your guys, it's
going to be Justin it seems like, but like, what
is the point of all this?

Speaker 5 (22:09):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's kind of college like if you
ask me. No, he did it before the Cincinnati game.
He didn't name the starter. I understood it in that
case because Justin Fields was coming off a horrific game
against Carolina, and you know I reported this. Other people

(22:30):
did too. They were leaning heavily towards starting Tyrod Taylor.
I think in Aaron Glenn's mind he had made that
decision to go with Tyrod Taylor. He kept everyone in
the dark that week, and then at the last second
on Saturday, they scratched Taylor because of a knee injury
that's flared up in practice, and so he goes with
Justin Fields. Perhaps you know, not his choice. And then

(22:54):
of course Fields goes out and plays his best game
of the year against Cincinnati, so he's trying to keep
this raid going. I mean, he would look awful if
he puts Justin Fields on the bench on Sunday coming
off his best game as a Jet.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
So I fully expect it to be Justin Fields.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
But for whatever reason, probably just stubbornness and trolling the media,
he's not naming a starter.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
What would be the point of playing to Rod Taylor.

Speaker 5 (23:26):
Yeah, that's a great question. I don't think there is
much of a point. I mean, he's not your future,
and you know what, To be quite honest, Justin Fields
is probably.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
Not going to be their future either. He has not
played well this season.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
I think he's ranked thirtieth out of thirty two quarterbacks
in QDR. He's had two good games, a couple of
two or three awful games, and then a lot of
mediocrity in between. So he's not going to be their start.
But at least with him, there's still some upside there.
You might as well just give him the rest of

(23:59):
the year just to get a complete evaluation of him.
And so I think ultimately that's what's.

Speaker 7 (24:04):
Going to happen.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
But the point was a couple of weeks ago, they
were so desperate on offense. They had gone a couple
of games without scoring a touchdown and it got to
the point where Justin's confidence just seems shot, and they
he just wasn't functioning. So that's why they were going
to go to Tyron Taylor.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Who do you expect. We know, Quinn's been traded, Quincy Williams,
who was a former first team All Prone his own right,
has been benched. Sauce former first team All Pro, and
Quentin was as well traded. Who are replacing those guys
in the lineup for the Jets?

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Right, So the guy play replacing Sauce Gardener at cornerback
is going to be As Thomas. He's a third round
pick out of Florida State.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
He is a you know, obviously he's not.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Sauce Gardner, but he did play a couple of weeks
ago against Cincinnati.

Speaker 7 (24:57):
He started for Gardner who was out with a and
he played reasonably well.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
So this will be an audition for him these last
nine games at defensive tackle. I'm not quite sure that
you know. They acquired Mazzie Smith from the Cowboys in
the Quinnin trade. So I don't think he's going to start,
obviously coming in on the eleventh hour here.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
But they'll probably go with the rotation there.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Juwan Briggs, a name you guys are certainly familiar with,
could be, you know, a prominent role in that rotation.
And then Quincy Williams I think will be replaced by
a rookie from Miami, Keiko malgoa who's who has played
quite a bit. He's played over two hundred snaps this year,

(25:43):
and I suspect he'll probably start for Quincy Williams.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Richard the best, Thanks for your time, buddy, greatly appreciate.

Speaker 7 (25:49):
It, all right, guys, appreciate it. Thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (25:52):

Speaker 8 (26:57):
Okay, beautiful day out there. Gots a in the elements,
which was good. Might have some rain on Sunday, so
I think it's always a great opportunity to get in
the elements that you may face in a given week.

Speaker 6 (27:07):
So the guys did a nice job with that.

Speaker 8 (27:09):
We have to play our best, like we talked about,
got to play our best on the road to get
our first road win. So that's where our focus is.
Still have some more work to do going into the
weekend and then get ready to go on Sunday. But
with that, I'll take any questions.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Hop to mistic.

Speaker 9 (27:25):
Are you that that, I mean, just from what you've
seen out of him, that he'd be able to play
off them?

Speaker 8 (27:30):
Yeah, I think you know, take these things by the
hour if you will. But he's he's working very hard.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Do you still expect how to be.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
Ready to go?

Speaker 10 (27:39):
I do Harold's energy injury pop up in?

Speaker 8 (27:44):
Yeah, popped up. I guess was that Wednesday, didn't practice yesterday?
Limited today? Very similar?

Speaker 6 (27:54):
You know, see how it does over next forty eight.

Speaker 10 (27:57):
Having said back and I Harold can play, does this
give you guys some size that kind of has been
missing a little bit?

Speaker 8 (28:04):
Well, I think was said, you know, he's been in
that role for us Mary Kay over the years. Is
a very willing and productive blocker in the run game,
and then he's a big target in the past game
and has made big plays for us. So obviously it's
a good thing. Having said back out there, he's a
guy that we really trust, a quarterback trusts, so good

(28:25):
to have him met there.

Speaker 11 (28:26):
A lot of factors are go into it, but the
defensive numbers haven't been as good away from home as
they have been at home.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Do you see anything there?

Speaker 8 (28:35):
You know, we want to play our best whether we're
at home or on the road. Obviously, I know the
splits of what they are, and you can each game
kind of tells its own story. But the way we
play is the way we play. It doesn't change home
or away.

Speaker 12 (28:51):
Jets have done on the ground this season of threes,
Hall justin ples the people start play. How important is
that linebacker group, whether it's Carson or my Mood or
to rowand whoever's in there.

Speaker 8 (29:02):
I think it's really important Ashley that, like you mentioned,
you could name every player on the defense with this
rush attack. It's not just one position that you're like
leaning on. Our defensive line has to do its job,
has to be sound in our gap integrity obviously, like
you mentioned, the linebackers dbs have to tackle. This is
a very very good rush team. And you mentioned Brest

(29:25):
Hall's outstanding. He's speed vision, catch it out of the backfield,
hand it to him every run scheme. He's a depth
at them. And then you add in a quarterback run
element to it. I mean, it's a really really good
run attack and just burn the.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Defense is quite strong, but how can you guys use
that in quinch Ont of that role specifically to get
the offensibility.

Speaker 8 (29:46):
Yeah, I think very highly of coach Glenn and Steve
Wilkes and what they do defensively, what they do schematically.
I think they have guys that can really run, which
makes it tough in the run game. You just watch
their tape. They have guys that are flying with football.
So it's a huge challenge obviously putting our game plan together,
trying to make sure that we're putting our guys in

(30:07):
spots that they're comfortable, and that's in the run in
the past.

Speaker 6 (30:10):
But it's going to be quite the challenge.

Speaker 13 (30:13):
You know, Paul does to go into the Rockies and
he's someone that wanted to bring you the Cleveland to
the personal team just you know, what's that loss means
you and also you know at the organization and how
much of what he did here over nine and a
half years.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
You know, do you hope to carry forward and think
you can.

Speaker 6 (30:34):
Well, I'm excited for Paul.

Speaker 8 (30:35):
I'm excited for him and the challenge, and I think
it's he's you know, no one has the experience that
he has in that sport or you know, across sports
and the diversity of what he's done in his career.
So you know, I'm very very happy for him and
excited for him, and excited for Karen and his entire family.

Speaker 6 (30:52):
I think it's an awesome opportunity.

Speaker 8 (30:54):
Paul's obviously some of that I'm very close to personally professionally,
He's somebody that I've leaned on over the years. But yeah,
we'll miss him, you know, because of our relationships, but
very excited.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
For him in this new endeavor.

Speaker 10 (31:09):
You're looking forward to what Tommy's going to bring to
the table with this game.

Speaker 8 (31:15):
Yeah, you know, We've worked all week, Mary Kay to
make sure that putting a game plan together where our
guys can go execute and execute at a high level
and play fast and those type of things. So Tommy's
done a nice job throughout this week. Like I've told
you guys before, that he's done this, you know, and
hasn't done the NFL. But there's not much of a
difference other than pressing a button. So he's more than capable.

(31:36):
I think he understands this team, these players, and it
also he knows this, and then our team knows this. It's
not about one person. We all have to do our
job on Sunday and.

Speaker 14 (31:49):
Called Tommy a football savant and really praised his football
college and you know, even him calling plays at I
think twenty seven, Like could you have imagine calling plays
at twenty seven for the program's jaion make you say
about him?

Speaker 6 (32:01):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
Part of the reason first got to know Tommy was
he came out here when he was at Notre Dame
and we just spent a day together talking ball and
and gosh, we talked about all sorts of football and
scheme and those type of things. And so he's somebody
that's grown up around this, around this game with his dad, obviously,

(32:23):
played the game at a high level, and collegiately has
had really great experiences in his coaching stops already. So
I just think, you know, we're all a product of
our environments, obviously, but I think the environments that he's
been in have have set him up really well.

Speaker 11 (32:38):
Stories about being a young play caller getting cheot out
by the way because.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
Not coach zim, you know, I do. I do remember
the first game I call. I think we were playing.
It was late in the season, We're playing Miami. And
one of the things you're thinking about is literally and
I've just mentioned it, but it's literally just the idea
of pressing that button because you've never done it before.
So I remember in pregame putting the headset on, and

(33:04):
I remember thinking myself, if I can't figure this out,
we got big problems.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
So Tommy will be just fine.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
I do that.

Speaker 10 (33:12):
Aaron Glenn hasn't named his starting quarterback yet.

Speaker 8 (33:15):
Again, we know both these quarterbacks. They're they're different, but
they're both very very good players, dangerous players. You have
to understand how they play because they're different. But we
could see both of them, you know, in the game,
so you have to be prepared for both, guys, really regardless. Okay,
thanks guys.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
All right, there you go. Kevin at the podium from
earlier today. A couple of things we need a chance
to get to final injury report of the week is out,
Isaiah Bond is out. Questionable, Harold Finn and Junior Carson Swessinger,
Cedric Tillman. Any feeling on those three. Tillman I think
is definitely going to be good to go. Cornelius Lucas

(34:01):
is also this is questionable, Adam, he hasn't been active recently.
Harold Fannin. I think will be good to go.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
I'm optimistic, and I think Carson Schwessinger has a chance
to play better, crazy, better than I would have thought.
I think that there is a real chance that Carson
Swessinger plays in this game, which I would have said
was impossible not all that long ago. Yeah, Like, if
that happens, that's that's big time there. It would be
like your kid's built different, built different, Dad, Ye build different.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Yeah, they say it, they don't even they're not. They're
built the same.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
They're built. In fact, I'm looking at three of you
that seemed very similarly built. That's right, that's all very safe.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
We did get officially the news that Paul d. Pedesta
we hit. This happened yesterday during the show. We were
responding to reacting, rather to reports. It has now since
been officially official that he has accepted a position with
the Colorado Rockies. He's their President of Baseball Ops. Statement
from the Haslams on Paul. We want to thank Paul
for his contributions to the Cleveland Browns over the past

(35:02):
nine and a half season. Paul's humble and egoist approach
encouraged a culture of teamwork and collaboration. He helped modernize
our research and analytics departments. His broad background of professional
sports brought a different perspective to our organization. We appreciate
the valued role he played in our organization as a
member of our leadership team, and we wish him all
the best his return to Major League Baseball with the
Colorado Rockies. Kevin had the one question about Paul and

(35:25):
talked about their personal experiences and stuff. From a organizational
flow chart perspective, my perception of it, it was always him
and Andrew and Kevin, like the three of them, their
football thirty three percent apiece and away you go. Be
interesting to see what the organization does with that position,
if anything. Yeah, I wonder if they will replace it.
I wonder if ultimately you'll have kind of a czar

(35:46):
of everything. I have no idea what the future is
going to hold, and that'll be something I think they'll
be interesting to see. Or they might just not have
it at all.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
I just bet what I was wondering, Yeah, coaching GM
report to Jimmy it maybe they I don't know. It'll
end Jimmy and d and we'll see how that goes,
or ownership I should say, Yeah, I don't know. I
think it's it's interesting. You know, we almost we could
have had a situation on the radio yesterday when it
was not confirmed, but I had reached out to Paul

(36:12):
and I had it confirmed. It was like a certain
situation many years ago. Who's the source?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Him the guy and just saw him.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
He just told me, literally, I he told me, do
you have this properly sorts? Yeah? Yeah, I do believe
I do. I believe I do have this properly sort
of airy. I think I got this one. Yeah. So yeah,
so we certainly wish him well. And you know, I
think that this is probably even something that's been bruin
and I don't think it's up on anybody. I mean no, yeah, no,

(36:45):
And yeah, we'll see where it goes from here.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Yeah, all right, the uh, I think that takes care
of all of.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
The all of the He just pumped twenty round drafts
Now he's got I mean, no, you got well.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
And I mean they lost one hundred and they lose
one hundred and fifty games and I'm exaggerating, but it
was like one hundred and eighteen or something like. It's
truly nowhere to go but up. Yeah, it's truly the
bottom of it there. So that's a that is a
build beautiful as a build gets. Yeah, that I mean
even watching that one last night, the Thursday night or
last night, I didn't stick with it. It was just
not good ball, so I didn't. But it's still like

(37:18):
when you see natural grass and that set up and
all of it, it's it's a win.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
The Broncos just play down to the level of their
competition and kind of sleep walk through it. It's really
a stunning thing. I'm trying to decide what. I don't
know what I know If they're good, I don't know either.
I don't know what they are. You're right, their defense
is quite good. Nick is quite good.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
He's quite good. But I'm trying to like, so they
beat the Eagles. This was five six games go to
beat the Eagles twenty one.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
To see the defense is questionable. There's no doubt.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
It's just more bad. It's just the offense is bad.
It is, Yeah, it is. That's fact points against the Raiders.
I was just looking for, Like, their schedule was has
been really soft. So they opened with Tennessee at Colts
and a loss by one. We didn't know that was
what it was going to be. Then lost to the Chargers.

(38:09):
They were one and two, then beat the Bengals. They
did beat the Eagles, that's a very good win. They
won in Philly and fell into seventeen. But then they
beat the Jets thirteen eleven. They beat the Giants in
that crazy yeah, thirty three to twenty two. Thirty three
thirty two. They did hammer the Cowboys. Yeah, Cowboys were
battered in that game, but in their defensive trash, but
they did. They hammered it forty four to twenty four.

(38:29):
Then they beat the Texans eighteen to fifteen. Twoj Stroud
went down in that game. And then last night they
beat the Raiders ten to seven. It gets a little
bit more robust. But they're making the postseason clearly. They
got the Chiefs at home next week. Then they're at
Kami's probably no Jayden in that game, obviously. Then they're
at Raiders, then Packers at home, Jaguars at home at Chiefs, Chargers.

(38:55):
It's hard to imagine. I'm not getting to eleven.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Yeah for a ton at least. Yeah, they're right eight
and two, they're eight and two now. Yeah, they're going
to be at worst eleven and six. Yeah, at worst Yeah,
from what you just say, Yeah, it's hard to see.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
I mean, really, the charge, I don't know that Kansas
City can catch them because Kansas City's Kansasy's not going
to catch him. It'll if anybody catch them, be the Chargers. Yeah,
for supremacy in the West.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
If the charge.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Let me pull up this Chargers schedule here, see what
they have going the next the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (39:24):
So they got.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Steelers at home this week Sunday Night Football. Then they're
at Jaguars, Raiders at home, Eagles at home at Chiefs
at Cowboys, Texans.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
At home at Broncos.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
So you can either have the Broncos with that schedule
with a one game lead, or you can have the
Chargers with that schedule having to chase to win the West.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
I'll take the Broncos.

Speaker 6 (39:46):
I think I would too.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
Well, someone had to pay for the Raiders losing last night.
They just fired their special teams coordinator. That'll fix it,
that's it.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Who is there? Special? Tom McMahon.

Speaker 7 (40:01):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
So oh they had the words. I didn't see this.
They had words on the sidelines. I didn't see the words.
Do you see the words.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
I didn't see the words any words.

Speaker 6 (40:11):
No.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Every time.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
The whole time I'm watching that game, I'm just looking
at Pete Carroll and just going, what are you doing here?

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Yeah? What are you doing in this job? What is
wild to me about it? Is one of the things
I remember from the game. I know Carlson missed a
field goal, but they're putter like pinned Denver at the one.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Well that multiple Is he the one who got it
to bounce sideways? Yeah, like twice couple of times inside
the one that would bounce out of bound.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
The Raiders had back and back possessions in the first quarter.
I want to say where they took over inside of
Denver territory and didn't gain like a yard. That's not
really on the special teams. No, I wouldn't say. I
would not say, oh, yeah, look at he's Oh he's
getting ready, you're gonna get you hop on? Oh I
thought he was getting a court course court. Yeah, but
I thought you were you're writer at your.

Speaker 2 (40:57):

there we go. I want the audience to be informed.

(42:22):
I don't want him to be surprised. Come on, we

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Twenty two for doctor z. Hey, hey, we had it, Hey,
hey in honor. I'm on, come on, who did he?
Oh Jost? Yeah, come on, the great Voice.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
I mean, that's all no patients work.

Speaker 3 (42:44):
Come on, come on. It's one of the I in
the Olympics. He was down there where they were doing
like the surfing, and he was doing the Hey hey,
come on, come on, like stepped on. He cut himself
on coral or something and he was like not happy
not having that. It's the Peacock Network. Yeah, there's another
thing that happened in the opening. Semise not a fan.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
I'm not a fan of.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
The great late voice. All right, um Gibbe, you have
the lead.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
You gotta go first, all right. We are looking for
passing yards for Dylan Gabriel. We're looking for passing yards
for Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 4 (43:20):
Weather forecast not great, no rain.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Yeah, we're gonna go one ninety five point five gibe
one ninety five point five over Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 4 (43:33):
I would like over this week. I think I think
the young man needs uh needs to have a game
like that.

Speaker 3 (43:39):
All right, doctor is one ninety five point five waffle.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
That's great, Vince is the waffles.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
Very that's a great callback for this. It really dialed
into the program. So h three out of eight have
gone under. I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
All right under it is over.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Sunday could be could be a big one.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
We're gonna go a couple of twosomes here Quin, Shawn,
Judkins and Jerry Judy who has not been used much,
but by a week, hopefully we get him engaged a
little bit over under Briceall and Garrett Wilson, Doc dise Quin,
Shawn and Judy total yards over or under Hall and

(44:33):
Wilson Brisall by the way, riding a scooter in the
locker room today in New York.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
Did you see that? I'd love to see that like
a little go kart, little go cart.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
I'd like to know what that go kart is. I
think that looks like the most fun and I think
I'd like to drive that around the neighborhood.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
I like that, wouldn't that be fun?

Speaker 4 (44:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:50):
I feel like I thrive in that scenario. I think
he's gonna be a big, big Quin Shawn Judkins game,
James huge, I'm going Browns right.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
Over Gibbe taking the Jets.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Wow, show me state no, Joe, you were Gabriel.

Speaker 4 (45:17):
Show me the other one.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Let's go no belief at all. Over under.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
This is the guy who has our quarterback going under
one ninety five.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
We're going to be winning game so bigly that we're
going to run the ball everything. I'm saying back with
the Browns win.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Give justin fields total yards of offense to twenty five

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Under, mister z I see you, I saw it. I
saw you do the over. I saw the finger go up.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
He's not even here. The number, who's here? What's the number?

Speaker 2 (45:52):
To twenty five point funder over This is a matt
We've never had this, oh, never had this in the
over under. You guys are choosing violence today. I don't
know how it could end up.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
I mean, is going against our defense? Well, well he could.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
I'm not going I'm not going against our empty yards
chasing yards.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
He's sucking down lucky charms, just empty calories.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Next over under sacks and turnovers.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
It's a big one.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
The question is it big enough to tempt keep your
eye on kind of keep your eye on it at
all times. Five point five sacks and turnovers five and
a half, Doctor Ze Miles secting that many times by
himself a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
And one and a half four we've sacked him twelve
times in two games. He has not thrown an interception
yet this year. They're good though, for about a turnover agame.
Can we get five sacks? That's what I think it's
gonna take. Yes, we can over over over, Gibbe.

Speaker 4 (47:05):
I want to say under, but I've hit this and
I'm done very well this year on this over over.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Next, over under the actual Gibbe, it is thirty seven
and a.

Speaker 4 (47:18):
Half over over, Let's go, doctor.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Ze, thirty seven and a half over all right, You
guys came back to form at the end. We did

defensive tackle Mike Call with Ze and Ken from the
Kevin Stefanski Show last night.

Speaker 3 (48:48):
Mike, good to see him. Man, Hey, good to see you.
Thanks for having me so talk to us a little
bit about this journey, because you know it has been
a journey for you to get back. I think this
injury is obviously a lot worse than people. And Kevin Sefanski,
you know, last week or the week before you came
back on this very program said hey, everybody thought, you know,
when we didn't put him on IR to start the season,

(49:09):
then ah, he'd be back in three weeks. Well, now,
we just wanted him to be able to practice with us,
and we knew it was gonna be Will. So what
was this whole experience like? And then how good did
it feel to finally get back on the field.

Speaker 15 (49:19):
Yeah, I mean, first and foremost, just give all the
glory to glory to save for Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
But I mean the journey has just.

Speaker 15 (49:25):
Been great, you know, overall, it's just it's just been
a lesson learned, you know. Just I mean, came dislocated
my knee in Baltimore. It was just a tragic injury.
So just coming back from that. You know, I wasn't
expected to come back, you know until like like nine months, so,
you know, just getting back in training camp and I'm
hoping to get back, you know what I'm saying the
start of the season, just you know what I'm saying,
pushing myself every day to come in here.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
You know what I'm saying, work the best as possible.

Speaker 15 (49:47):
So just trying to, you know what I'm saying, put
my best foot forward, and you know what I'm saying,
It's just been a journey, so just been really just
trying to take it one day at a time.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
How did it feel to get actually back out there
and play a game again.

Speaker 15 (49:58):
Yeah, I feel great. You know, have me on like
you know what I'm saying, just limited, you know, going
in there. You know what I'm saying, certain downs and
that and whatnot. But you know what I'm saying, it's
been great. You know what I'm saying, being out there
with the guys and good camaraderie.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
Mike.

Speaker 9 (50:12):
You know, I talked to Alex Wright a couple of
weeks ago and he said he kept his brace as
like a thing to remind him. Can you take us
through just the emotional journey over these last months, especially
as the season started. You know, a lot it's like, well,
when's gonna get back?

Speaker 3 (50:26):
I'm sure you were dying to get out there. I
mean yeah, I mean it's just hard.

Speaker 15 (50:30):
You know, just seeing the defense that we have for
going out there is just I mean, cause and have it,
you know, just I mean with the front four, you
know what I'm saying, even with our linebackers and DB's
you know, everybody, you know what I'm saying, plays a
role in our defense. So everybody, you know, adds that
different kind of flavor, different kind of sauce to the game.
So I mean, knowing what I bring and what I'm
capable of just coming out here and you know what
I'm saying, just being a dog with my guys. It's

(50:52):
just it's hard to see it from the sideline. You know,
it's just a lot of emotions built up. But you
know what I'm saying, You just gotta grind every day,
you know what I'm saying, Just put your best before
and then hope to be back.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
Did you want at some point to just go to
the podium and be like, listen, I'm not supposed to
be back in because they're people like, what's going on
with Mike Call? Did Mike Hall have a set back?
What's going on? What's going on? And You're like, no,
this has been the plan all along. Was that one
of those things? Was that kind of hard? I mean, yeah,
it kind of you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 15 (51:17):
Just it's one of those things, you know, you just
got to take a deep breath and you know, just
be calm, and you know, I can't worry about everything
else and what the outside noise is. But with everybody,
you know, I know, you know what I'm saying, I
know the work that I put in, and you know
what I'm saying. The coaches have the training staff, and
you know what I'm saying, they know what work I
put in. So you know, you really can't pay attentions
to the outside noise.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
I'm sure sometimes you're like, just tell them what's going.
Just let them know. Like we're on track, we're on target.
So now are you without limitation when we take the
field with against the Jets? Right, no doubt?

Speaker 15 (51:45):
Yeah, hopefully you know what I'm saying. We can let
it rip this weekend. You know what I'm saying, we
get it up, let's go, no doubt.

Speaker 9 (51:50):
I don't mean to drop any more names, but talking
to some of the vets are like I asked about
you last year, Like he's real, he can do it.
What have you learned within this defense here over this
last year that makes you more dependable across that defensive line,
makes you more of a veteran across this line?

Speaker 15 (52:06):
Yeah, I would say the biggest thing from just last
year to now is just not really just I feel
like last year I was kind of not really guessing
too much, but I don't know, just like kind of
second guessing myself, Like I mean, just really just trusting
my you know what I'm saying, my technique and just
you know what I'm saying, putting getting my one two down,
and just rushing the pass, whether it's playing a run
or wherever. But really just not second guessing myself and

(52:27):
really just trusting my you know what I'm saying, the
process and the work that I put in, you know
what I'm saying before the game, and my routine, and
you know what I'm saying, just coming to the game
and just being confident. I feel like that was the biggest.

Speaker 3 (52:36):
Thing one guy that I think it's has been a
great addition to your room. Three and a half sacks,
twenty pressures. He's got one of the best pressure rates
of any defensive tackle in the league. MALIEK. Collins And
I'd imagine for a young guy like you, I've always
said when we signed him, you know, this guy is
a professional pass rusher in him. When you can be
a profession pass rusher in the middle, you can play
in this league, make a lot of money for a
long long time. What's it been like with Malik And

(52:58):
I know he can be hard on you times, but
he's he seems like it's so quiet and jovial, but
then I know he's got that kind of tough mentor side.

Speaker 15 (53:06):
Noah, Yeah, he's a real quiet dude though he's been
definitely like playing that big bro role. So you know
what I'm saying, Just I mean learning from a guy that,
you know what I'm saying, has thirty plus sacks, so
you know he knows what he's talking about, has been
in the league for you know what I'm saying, I
think was ten years, So I mean he's played a
lot of football.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
So you know, it's kind of like kind of stupid
to not you know what.

Speaker 15 (53:23):
I'm saying, Yeah, following is you know what I'm saying,
follow what he's doing, and you know what I'm saying,
just try to pick his brain and see what he's
you know what I'm saying, what he's talking about on
like just certain path first moves or whatever, or see
anything that he sees out there.

Speaker 3 (53:35):
You know, is there one thing maybe that he's told
you maybe or it's one thing you've observed from his
process that you're like, yeah, this is this, I want
to do this.

Speaker 15 (53:44):
I would really say it's just more it's really more
off the field. I would really just say like just
more training room stuff like doing off the field recovery,
just increasing that, you know what I'm saying. I feel
like he played a big role in helping me.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
You know what I'm saying. Just increase what I do
off the field for.

Speaker 9 (53:59):
Sure, within the you know, within the defensive line room,
within the entire defense You Jim Schwartz, the other assistants,
what have they done to help you here over this
last last year that's made you so much better?

Speaker 4 (54:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (54:11):
I mean, like I said before, you know what I'm saying,
just trusting the you know what I'm saying, trusting the
system and you know what I'm saying, just kind of
kind of really saying like drinking the kool a, Like
just you know what I'm saying, just trust what coach
Schwartz is saying and going there and not second guests
with myself and just go do go do what I've
been doing, you know, do what got me here, you
know what I'm saying, Just cause havoc and be a dog.

Speaker 3 (54:31):
You know it's set up. You're in your second year.
Mason was drafted fifth overall this year. That you guys
can be kind of a tanem for a long time
together in this league, Ohio State, Michigan, you know, unifying
right in the middle of that defensive line. What's it
been like getting a guy you know, you were that
guy last year, having him come in and knowing that
you know, the plan ultimately right is for you two
guys to be the guys.

Speaker 15 (54:51):
Yeah, no doubt. I mean, it's it's hard going out
there every day. You know what I'm saying. It's competition daily,
you know.

Speaker 4 (54:56):
So that's a room.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
Oh yeah, it's a great room.

Speaker 15 (54:58):
You know, it's just you got to look at it
is like you know, you just you can learn so
much from different guys in the room. And like I
said before, everybody brings a different style, different flavor, different
kind of sauce to the game. So it's really about
what you know what I'm saying, Who compliments who or
who rushes the best with who? And that's that's all
it is. You know, Fork was one on the d
line and no, no one person is good.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
And you know what I'm saying. You have the veterans,
Shelby Maleik, you got yourself and Mason, and then you
got Aiden Huntington, who's one of those like that's just
a great football story. Yeah, playing full back, playing defensive tackle,
annihilating people on special teams. You know it just you know,
a guy that earned his way onto this roster. You
got to observe a lot of it be in the

(55:40):
room with him. What's it been like for to see
a young guy like that make it? You know, this
wasn't this was in Ohio State, This wasn't Michigan, right,
this is a guy that kind of came out of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
Right.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
Yeah, my dog Turtle time at Turtle, Yeah, exactly Turtle
as he said.

Speaker 15 (55:53):
But now he's been definitely a hard worker in the room,
you know what I'm saying, just trying to learn from
like like you said before, Malik and all the rest
of the guys. So you know, he's been good overall,
bringing the you know what I'm saying, the turtle energy
to the room. You know, he's being goofy and you
know what I'm saying, giving the guys, you know, just
a good laughter.

Speaker 9 (56:09):
Yeah, jets o line, what type of challenges do they
present to you? And then can you tell us about
Justin because he'll fly all over the place. But Miles
has been very acquainted with him over these last couple
of times that they've been out against each other. What
can you say about those guys?

Speaker 3 (56:23):
Yeah, I don't want to say too much about him.
You know great overall. You know O Line just you know,
real heavy in the run.

Speaker 15 (56:29):
So you know what I'm saying, just got to be
able to play combo blocks and whatnot, and just you
know what.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
I'm saying, be ready.

Speaker 15 (56:33):
So we just got to stop him on first down
and hopefully hopefully that can open up you know what
I'm saying the past game for us to be able
to rush the passer on you know whatever.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Second, when you got a guy like Justin who's got
a thousand yard season under his belt, and you know
that if somebody gets out of their rush lane, he
can yeah, gone, Yeah, it's good prep for Lamar because
Lamar is the very next week. Yeah, no doubt.

Speaker 15 (56:52):
You know, definitely got to you know what I'm saying,
contain the pocket and cage the pocket for sure.

Speaker 4 (56:56):
On Justin.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
You know, he gets it.

Speaker 15 (56:59):
I think he runs like a four through or whatever,
so you know, got to be aware of that and
just you know what I'm saying, collapse in the pocket
and keeping them caged in there.

Speaker 9 (57:06):
Oh I wanted to ask you. This is as dumb
as it gets, but I know people are gonna ask
Ohio State, Michigan you, Mason. Is there any sort of
silly bets about wearing jerseys or.

Speaker 3 (57:15):
Anything like that? This is illegal to bet, so yeah,
excuse me?

Speaker 4 (57:20):
Is there anything there that's non monetary?

Speaker 3 (57:23):
I would know nothing right now. Uh, I might. I
don't know. It might be a shirt or something like that.

Speaker 15 (57:30):
We will be feeling pretty good going in this year's matchup. Yeah,
it's about time for sure. It's about that time that
you know saying turn the tables.

Speaker 3 (57:37):
When you come to something like this, obviously growing up
from here and all of that, and you get brown stuff.
I know's you got some buckeye stuff as well. Is
that kind of fun to have?

Speaker 7 (57:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (57:46):
That's fine.

Speaker 15 (57:46):
I mean definitely seeing pictures of even me from high school,
you know, really good laugh to see overall. And I
appreciate everybody for coming out, you know what I'm saying,
just enjoying join the fund.

Speaker 3 (57:55):
I would now no part of you. No, thank you,
thank you very much, but thank you for being here. Man.

Hips Steve Sachs Steve sustained wins southeast out of the

the quote for your keys, East Rutherford Sunday. We turn
it over to.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Duck DIZI, oh baby, all right, this one's pretty simple,
I think. For the Cleveland Browns, this is a game
where you should be able to run the football. This
is a run defense right now. For the New York
Jets that is towards the bottom of the league one
hundred and thirty five point eight yards per game. They've
given up eight rushing touchdowns as well. They are the
twenty six run defense and one of the things we've

(01:00:21):
struggled with is running the ball to the perimeter. And
you look at this team in the way that they're
built with their defensive ends. Well McDonald's six four, two
hundred and forty five pounds, Jermaine Johnson sixty five two
fifty four These are smaller edge players than the Browns
have faced in recent weeks, and so I think that
brown should be able to attack the outside behind your
tackles Cam Brominson swearing thirty five pounds, Jet Conklin s

(01:00:42):
three in ten pounds and get Quinn sewn going on
the edge. So that's one number two. You know, let's
see what Tommy Rees has. Let's get this to be
a little bit more explosive, Let's get this to be
a little bit more exciting. I think that's something certainly
that will be a lot of fun if you are
the Cleveland Browns, and if somebody who watches this team
you want to see this passing game hit some plays
down the field, that would be absolutely delightful. So I offensively,

(01:01:04):
run in the football, get it down the field, take
care of the football. Obviously, you're the better team. Special
teams just be neutral. Yeah, you're the better football team.
It's not often that we're we've said that this year.
This is we are, without doubt, a better team. And
then defensively, we need to be really good on first down.
We need to get them into third and longs in
obvious drop back situations, so keyon Breese Hall and then

(01:01:29):
get after justin fields. But maintain our rushlings. Maintain our
integrity of our rushlings because he can hurt you with
his legs. Keep him in the pocket, get after him.
And I think this team should be able to really
we should crush them. Really, I mean that sincerely.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
Should handle them. I mean yeah, I mean they lost
two of their best defensive players. There, two best defensive
players are no longer on this team, including one of
the best corners in the league.

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
And they don't sack the quarterback even when they had
those guys, and they get sacked a great deal. Garrett
Wilson is the best probably weapon in this game from
a receiver standpoint. But we've got you know, Denzel Ward,
and I'd give him a ton of attention. This is
one of the games. We don't do this often, and
I'm not saying that we will, but this is like
that old Belichick thing, like I'd be fine putting Tyson Campbell. Yeah,

(01:02:12):
with a double team double Garrett Wilson the entire game,
and then have Denzel one on one with whoever is
going to be their number two receiver, whether it's Tyler Johnson,
whether it's Isaiah Williams, whether it's gonna be Arian Smith,
John Metchi Alan Lazard out and I Mitchell just let
Denzel can handle those guys on his own. So that
would be my strategy. Take Garrett Wilson completely out of
this game.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Yeah, we are in white over white. They will be
in green over white. I love our all white. So
we'll have those tomorrow, which are on Sunday rather, which
will be nice.

Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
The other photo there.

Speaker 11 (01:04:33):
Which was taken on I believe, the very first game

That's what we're pointing out. Look at how bad that
photo is, is what we're pointing at.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
You guys are great in this. Do you know where

I think that's Look at Todd Heap talked to Joe

Speaker 4 (01:04:56):
Look at those guys anyway we get there on the left.

Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
What's wrong with that phone? He doesn't want it? I
don't like it.

Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
I mean, you don't you know you had like three
hours of sleep on that all night after calling.

Speaker 11 (01:05:11):
Boy in my arms tired and it's happy to be here.
I was certainly happy to be here.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
You guys look great in the pointing one. It's like
spotty gazelle on the serengetti. Also one more thing, a
little bit of that too. Do you know where that
pocket square is? Because for the life of me. I
can't find it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
Do you check the coat?

Speaker 11 (01:05:26):
I was trying to find that pocket square for for
something this week. I can't find it. Have found it
for a year, probably probably the hotel. That's why the
pictures from and from two years ago, year and a half.
The inside pocket of the you were wearing. I have
checked the inside pocket every and it didn't suit coat
or sport coat I own, and I cannot find I
cannot find that pocket.

Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Scare I digress?

Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Sorry, lost pocket square. I hate it. I hate to
see it.

Speaker 4 (01:05:51):
Love their first album. All right, gentlemen, what did you
do last week?

Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
I think I was seven seven, So we're forty two
games over five hundred through nine weeks. It's nothing wrong
with them. Yeah, I can pressure Andrew before we get
into this.

Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
My first time doing this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
This this these guys in the these guys out west
Ben Siegels, your friends in the desert there.

Speaker 4 (01:06:20):
You could take a little lesson from the over under committee.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Yeah, this is it's dicey stuff, man, this is dicey stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
This week I did not enjoy this.

Speaker 11 (01:06:29):
And by dicey you mean it's not I just think
that I think it's very difficult.

Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
I think this is These are some very difficult scores
to pay attention to.

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
Agree who won last week?

Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
Uh? He did. But we're a team and we've been
and we've been. We're on a multi year.

Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
Heating and you could put your kids through school. Yeah everything.

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
I think the worst we ever did picking every single
game every single week was combined like thirty over five hundred.
I mean we're never I don't think we are with
forty never below forty yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
Never.

Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
We've had years the seventies eighties where you've each been
forty over. Past performance is not necessarily indicative. Right now
we're at forty two right now, forty two over yeah, halfway,
half way. You're welcome.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
Yeah, you are welcome. Thank you, doctor, gentlemen, welcome ten
in the nation.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
So you think doctor real quick.

Speaker 11 (01:07:25):
When you saw that film for the first time, you're like,
oh my god, what a tour de force, like what
what a what an American class? Immediately right, Yeah, I
made the mistake.

Speaker 4 (01:07:34):
How many years ago is this?

Speaker 11 (01:07:35):
That movie came out twenty lots? Yeah, I made the
mistake because my parents and I that was back in
the day.

Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
We watch it.

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
No, I didn't watch it together.

Speaker 11 (01:07:43):
It was back in the day where you like everyone
went to the movies and you compared notes like what
are you gonna do on a Friday night?

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Like, Oh, what movies have you seen? For sure? I
told my parents I thought it was a great movie.
It is They saw it. Oh man, I had to
explain then why I thought it was a great movie.
That's not quite as bad as I already told this
story though, When I was either freshm or sophomore high school,
on a date with girl Sophie and her mom insisted
on chaperonning, we went to see the movie Sliver. That

(01:08:11):
did not go well. I tell you that I was
in high school for sure. Do you know what was involved? Well,
I don't remember. Generally, I did not know there. You
have not seen that there was now I remember I
didn't know Billy Billy Baldwin. You had a Tommy Bearringer

(01:08:34):
in that.

Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
Yeah, m hmm.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
Indeed. No, let's go.

Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
Welcome to week ten in the National Football League. To
Sunday we go. We have early football again. God Bless America,
Love and nine thirty more from Berlin. By the way,
did the hoff ever get clothing? He's there?

Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
He changed in the in the plane I think the
Hoff in some bathroom. Yeah, shooting the mirror, yelling at
British Airways in his half voice is all I needed.

Speaker 4 (01:09:05):
It was amazing, was that on the I g yes.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
Lost, they lost his bag?

Speaker 4 (01:09:11):
Sure, moved a check a bag and it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Was in It was in London when it happened. He
had a three over LA three hour layoverw do you
do so? But wasn't it a non stop from l A.
How do you lose a bag on a NonStop?

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
It was fine?

Speaker 3 (01:09:21):
No, I think it was from I think it was
Vegas to l A and then no, I think it was.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
In the London. Berlin is okay.

Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
Yeah, I don't know. We believe the Hoff has some
kind of clothing God bless you. They have stores, they do.
And he is a man, he means started out, he's
going to be just fine. Yeah, he's I can't imagine
what's going on over there, like dinners and cocktails, like

(01:09:51):
I know what London was.

Speaker 11 (01:09:53):
I mean he lived over there and he was a
little German, but he was Munich and he's in Berlin.

Speaker 4 (01:10:00):
Yeah, doesn't mean he's probably not finding people.

Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
Oh no, no, no, I'm sure people find him.

Speaker 4 (01:10:05):
Yeah, yeah, all right Sunday morning. Gutless Falcons. That's right,
We're back to being god. They are three and five,
losers of three in a row, taking on the Indianapolis Colts.
Colts losing one last week to the Squealers. Divorced Buckner
to ir for India. Big loss for them, Colts, Falcons.

(01:10:28):
The girl lead us off week ten.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
So the Falcons are so up and down and they
can be so gutless. And I think when you go
in these international games, teams can get they can hit
the road early. I really think that the Colts are
going to bounce back nicely. So I got the Colts
in this one, huge huge ninety one.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Three Yeah, I six turnovers last week for Indy's loss
to Pittsburgh. I think they bounced back in a big way.
And I think the Falcons, I mean, just think about this.
This is a team that lost at Carolina thirty to nothing,
and then two weeks later beat the Bills twenty four
to fourteen, and has since lost three in a.

Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
Row, including getting boat raced by the Dolphins. Right yeah,
thirty four to ten.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Yeah, I mean's just a weird team. So I'm with you.
I I like Colts by a billion as well. We'll
go Colts thirty eight Falcons.

Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
To Andrew Cisiliana trying to learn how to.

Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
Play this game. I like the Colts to bounce back.

Speaker 4 (01:11:33):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
Oh yeah, it's a hesitation.

Speaker 11 (01:11:37):
I think Atlanta's gonna gonna have a shot that's gonna
be closed.

Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
Oh is there a Buci backdoor.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
I think they're gonna have a shot in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 6 (01:11:45):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
I think the Colts, however, hang on.

Speaker 4 (01:11:50):
Oh God, to win.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
But I think it's interesting. Oh baby, I think it's interesting.
So what like, what would a good score?

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
There be a good cold, a good score. There would
be close, very close.

Speaker 3 (01:12:04):
And seventy five to nine and seventy two. I think,
there you go.

Speaker 11 (01:12:09):
That fogami and I'm gonna go with that. Nine seventy
five to nine. Wow, nine seventy imagine the fantasy. I
didn't see that happened in Taylor. I didn't see that.

Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
Happening out of the gates.

Speaker 4 (01:12:21):
Okay, So the one o'clock slates and we go to Chicago.
The Bears have put themselves right in the thick of
the NFC North Race. At five and three, they play
host to the hapless New York Football Giants, losers of
three in a row. Really, you're playing out the string
at this point with eight games to play at two

(01:12:45):
and seven bo Bishop.

Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
Yeah, just this is going to break Pedro's heart.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
It's just too too many injuries for the g men,
a string of just brutal games, and they're not even
done with it. They're at Bears this week, than Packers
at Lions. This is going to be straight down the
tubes for the Giants here. I like the Bears, big
lely Chicago twenty eight g Man seventeen Sape Andrew Siciliano.

Speaker 11 (01:13:12):
So Bill Schwirsky of the super Fans, right, yeah, but
I believe he once used the score for the Bears, seventy.

Speaker 4 (01:13:19):
Nine to nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
It's right, the Bears.

Speaker 11 (01:13:22):
I think the Bears. They could excuse me, they could
be in for seventy nine to nothing game there. Yeah,
That's what I'm going with.

Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Remember they brought in Rick Meerce. Oh yeah, they brought
in Rick Mearce. Great Rick Meerce in his car, Dicka.

Speaker 4 (01:13:35):
Hopefully nobody has a heart attack.

Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
Dickad and a bus versus Rick Meerce in the indy
five hundred MIRCA is so good.

Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
Portillo's Uh to the AFC East and a big tilt.
The Bills seem to be back on track. They've got
to maintain pace with the New England Patriots. Bills six
and you but you go to that trap that is
South Beach or wherever they play that's not really in downtown.

Speaker 11 (01:14:07):
Miami Gardens is kind of equidistant between the two airports.

Speaker 4 (01:14:11):
Never fly to Mia. It's the worst airport.

Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
Really makes all of the sense of the world that
the Miami Hurricanes play.

Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
There too, corrept exactly. Dolphins playing host to the Bills.
Uh Ceciliana, you want to lead us off.

Speaker 11 (01:14:23):
Yeah, remember when the Dolph training wheels off beat the
Broncos seventy to twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
Remember that, and I do.

Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
I think this could be the reverse of that.

Speaker 11 (01:14:33):
I think the Bills may beat the Dolphins seventy to twenty.
By the way, you know, if Josh Allen scores two
rushing touchdowns in this game, yep, he'd be the very
first quarterback in the one hundred and six year history
the National Football League to have two rushing touchdowns in
three consecutive games.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
I did not know that that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:51):
In fifty cents will get you a couple coo.

Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
He's on pace to do something where he's going to
tie only running backs for.

Speaker 11 (01:14:59):
He just passed Cam Newton for most rushing touch by
a quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
Could it be at eight straight years of something with
rushing touchdowns?

Speaker 11 (01:15:07):
You said it doctor with like five hundred yard So
like maybe next year he'll be.

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
There's something where he's going to get to ten that
the record is ten with like Emmett Smith of something
with rushing touchdowns. I think it was a graphic that
made it up on one. Did they whenever they played?

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
Can I believe that they played the Chiefs? You're still trapped?

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
It was in there? You could, I could.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
I can give you the number of a hole on
a golf course that you've played once and you know
if it's a par five or what the layout is.
So I'm sure you have it right. Well for him,
it's a powerful everything is life is for him.

Speaker 4 (01:15:37):
Zir Did you give a score?

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
I have not? Did you give it to both next? Yeah,
he's seventy twenty, seventy twenty. Yeah, I see the Bills
getting the seventy easy here Bill seventy Dolphins seventy three.
Oh baby, wow. Actually sixty so some fight the same

(01:15:59):
for our purposes sixty three.

Speaker 6 (01:16:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
I think this.

Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
I think this is a little bit this, This score
is a little bit deflated because of I think what
Miami did last week and all of those things. But
I think I think Buffalo comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, thirty four
to twenty four.

Speaker 3 (01:16:16):
Out on a limb, all right, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:16:18):
Next to a little AFC North NFC North action, the
Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 12 (01:16:25):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:16:25):
They got to keep plowing forward here? Are they for real?
Are they not for real?

Speaker 5 (01:16:30):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:16:30):
They've got their quarterback back. They are three and five,
winners of two in a row on the road in
the Dome, in the best stadium in the National Football
League for now as no as of no corporate skull
welcoming the rat Birds.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
Uh zig, I'm all in on this Ravens renaissance. Monkin's
got him going, JJ McCarthy. He has got an alter
ego called nine nine. That's a little bit scary to me.
Is that related to the girl from uh she'ld be eleven?

Speaker 6 (01:17:07):
Eleven?

Speaker 4 (01:17:07):
Yeah? Yeah, what's your name?

Speaker 3 (01:17:09):
Eleven?

Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
Great?

Speaker 4 (01:17:10):
Thank you? No, I got it?

Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Yeah, Millie Bobby Brett heard too. I really think that
the Ravens are gonna get cooking, and I think they're
gonna go up there. The snow is going to be
falling inside that same it's gonna beautiful m v D
at the Mall of America. Those are great times.

Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
We've got free all those to the all the the parties.

Speaker 3 (01:17:34):
Around. Yeah, there's.

Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
The Orange Jewlis.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
It's hurt. Come on, our Orange Julius is still around.

Speaker 4 (01:17:43):
Yes, they all queue down the street on Bagley.

Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
That's awesome. There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
But I wonder if the actual ones that were in
the malls were.

Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
I remember their used to hot Dog on a stick
is still around because they made those people wear ridiculous
uniforms and they had to be in the back pumping up.

Speaker 4 (01:18:02):
The heart going on. It was nuts.

Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
It really got after it the.

Speaker 11 (01:18:06):
Hartford Civics when Yukon used to play at the Arena
in the Mall, as they called it.

Speaker 3 (01:18:11):
They walk through the mall and then walk.

Speaker 11 (01:18:13):
Into the arena and there'd be an Orange Julius right
next to the door to go into the arena. Why
wouldn't to go see don Yelle and Donnie Marshall at
Waholme chef Air?

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
Is that where the whale played as well Hartford and
whal Whale in honor of the whale.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
Ravens, Blue Vikings Gray.

Speaker 11 (01:18:35):
Robert Kron is not walking through that door that was
the blue whale is the greatest of the whales.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
I understand saying it's a very big whales. It's it's
at least five times bigger than the grey whale. Five
times bigger. Same, Oh, I disagree.

Speaker 11 (01:18:52):
I think the Ravens you hate, I do hate them.
I think they're going to continue. I think they're going
to continue the winning way.

Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
But I tell you what I think.

Speaker 11 (01:19:02):
I think JJ McCarthy, uh, I think this is the
fourth quarter where he does not rise to the occasion.

Speaker 3 (01:19:10):
But I think he's gonna have a chance. I kind
of like the Ravens, like twenty four twenty one. It
is now, you're getting it, Now, you got now, you've
got it on it. You're dialed, yep, yep, you're locked.

Speaker 4 (01:19:20):
Onward do we go? This will be one of the
main games of the day. This is the CBS A
team nance Romo Wolfson, Tampa Bay without Godwin and Bucky Irving.
They have a couple other guys that are out as well.
Hosting the New England Patriots, who will be without Remandre
Stevenson and Kashawn Bouti.

Speaker 11 (01:19:44):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
Patriots at Buccaneers Bobashop.

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Patriots wearing their rivalry uniforms for this, like the white
which makes I mean, you val because they took What
are we doing? Come on because they're important? Look good, plaguate.

Speaker 16 (01:19:59):
The The public is really big on this one with bake,
really big, like massively on bake.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
You know, I feel about the public. Don't much use
for him. Patriots College. It's right, Why there's a Patriots
go down to Tampa, crush a few steaks at Burn Steakhouse,
a few nice bottles of wine.

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Bomb the bucks twenty six twenty Listen, they'd have to
get down to Tampa on a Wednesday to have a
meal at Burn Steakhouse and then still like a pro
and you get to the game on Sunday. Yeah, when
you have dinner here, we we really move in. It's
like a hotel. You're there, you've been to the dessert
of course, I've the dessert room. That's part of the experience.

(01:20:49):
It's a full night. It needs a hammock room. If
we're going to be they take a night. Six. Yeah,
that's it. That's a don't turn a table. No, they
do not turn a table. I'm stunned by this one.
I got this one completely wrong in the guest lines.
Not only I mean I was off by yeah, six
seven points. Patriots are unstoppable. Right now. I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:11):
May Day, I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
And everybody's celebrating Patriots outright. Comfortable, comfortable, comfortable. I think
this one goes something like forty one fourteen.

Speaker 4 (01:21:21):
Wow, Andrew Sicilio.

Speaker 11 (01:21:25):
I don't think it's comfortable, but I like the Patriots
like twenty to seventeen, and that's comfortable.

Speaker 4 (01:21:29):
Take it a step further.

Speaker 11 (01:21:31):
If if and the Bucks are banged up, first of all,
they can't run the ball. They can't Bucks can't run
the ball. Patriots stopped the run better than any other
team of the NFL. We saw that ourselves, not a.

Speaker 3 (01:21:41):
Single fifty yard rusher two weeks ago.

Speaker 11 (01:21:43):
If the Bucks lose this, and I do think they
do lose this, they next week go to Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
The week after that.

Speaker 11 (01:21:50):
They play Sunday Night at so Far against the Rams.
I think this is the start of a little slide
mid season.

Speaker 4 (01:21:58):
For your Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I'll take it up.

Speaker 3 (01:22:00):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (01:22:00):
Here we go. By the way, the Patriots are good.

Speaker 11 (01:22:04):
I don't know how good they are, but I think
this is their game.

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
I think they're good and they're gonna have to do
it without Booty. Booty by Douglas little waiver wire pickup
for you.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
To the NFC South we go. This one bears watching
because Carolina is top wide receiving threat. Might have pulled
a hammy today.

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
In McMillan, Yes, wow, fire up, legit.

Speaker 4 (01:22:29):
Dave can Alice is concerned it will be a true
game time decision. Panthers five and four. I know Bo
Bishop's rooting against them desperately for a lot of financial reasons.
With his son Panthers playing host to the New Orleans Saints.

Speaker 11 (01:22:48):
Andrew Siciliano, Okay, so that does change I think the math.
I was originally going to say that Carolina was going
to eke out a field goal win. I am kind
of moved. How I'm gonna stick with that. Carolina ekes
out a field goal win. And Rico Doubtele Rico Dowdell

(01:23:09):
continues to punish opposing defenses. They are the only team
of the NFL with two backs that had.

Speaker 4 (01:23:15):
A thousand yards.

Speaker 3 (01:23:16):
That's right, a year ago with two different teams.

Speaker 4 (01:23:18):
Yep, obviously.

Speaker 11 (01:23:20):
And this right here is a very sad Cuba Hubbard
fantasy manager. And if anybody would like to take Cuba
Hubbard off my hands and the Milton Win Memorial Fantasy
Football League, please.

Speaker 4 (01:23:31):
Please please DM me. Yeah, let me know.

Speaker 11 (01:23:35):
So, I'm gonna go seventeen seventeen fourteen Panthers fans.

Speaker 3 (01:23:39):
Oh way, this is Carroll Kna at home. They're so good. Listen,
Chucky ducky quack quack.

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
This is easy.

Speaker 3 (01:23:48):
This is easy, peasy, lemon squeezy, as the kids say.
I don't know. Booker t says it a lot. Carolina Panthers.
Tyler shucked Bigley week. Oh was he in the second half? Yeah,
Chris Alavey didn't think so. Carolina six Saints negative three.

Speaker 7 (01:24:04):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:24:05):
So my approach to Carolina has been to try to
pick against them every week, hoping that this would stop.
I'm going the other way now. It hasn't worked. I
don't know that there's anybody in the league beating the
Carolina Panthers. I don't know that they're gonna lose the
rest of the season.

Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
I don't see it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
I think they're winning out. I think they win this
one by at least sixty three. Give me the Panthers
sixty three the Saints zero.

Speaker 11 (01:24:27):
Wow, So like, yes, you're American Airlines direct flight from
Charlotte to San Jose.

Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
Now, I don't know if the eighty five Bears could
stop this Panther's offense.

Speaker 11 (01:24:35):
I really don't the current eighty like currently like right
now in eighty five.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
Pants and trying to get on the right right now
even now, they might They're a jugger. If they could,
it's a juggernaut.

Speaker 4 (01:24:49):
And it's unfair.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Too good of a team.

Speaker 4 (01:24:50):
Okay, he's gone by by yougan, What do you got left?
Final one and the one window the Jags on the
road five and three. Brian Thomas is out. He is,
ye just try congratulations, he has some kind of injury.
I saw I was dropped. We were visiting the Texans.

Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
I'll give him a lot of tried to cut it out.
We got a hustle now and now we gott a
hustle up against it.

Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
David Mills, go, we just.

Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
Go to fifty three and let's just do that. So
sold Jaggs. Listen, Brian Thomas. Last week he got to
twist it up. Somebody fell on it was very ugly.
Comes back in the game like a hero, tries to
play a few more plays as I can't do it,
so now he's out. This game is gross, It's awful.
I don't believe it. In the Jags one Jag zero,

(01:25:42):
like Maddox and Glavin.

Speaker 4 (01:25:45):
A pictures, Kennedy played in and out.

Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
There on the same team, same but different. Jaguars to
Texans zero Cubs Maddox.

Speaker 11 (01:25:52):
I'm gonna go Jaguars, no Texans, ten Jags nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:25:57):
Did you say the fighting?

Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Yeah, I'm taking as they can't say.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
He's an ope. You got texts.

Speaker 11 (01:26:04):
