Speaker 1 (00:02):
The following.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
He is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and
the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
This He's Cowboys Storyline with Nick Eatman.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Good morning, Welcome to Cowboys Storyline. It is Friday, December
twenty seventh, last day of the week to get ready
for Cowboys and Eagles. If we're even thinking that way,
the Cowboys focused on winning this game, they say they are.
They say they're going to Philly to win, and I'm
sure that that's the case. Is everybody going to Philly?

(00:40):
I don't know about that. Found out yesterday, No, no surprise,
Cedee Lamb is not going to play this game or
the rest of the season. They're going to shut him down.
And I think that's a good idea. I think everybody
kind of feels that that way. He's done enough, he's
been through a lot of pain, he's proven his point,
he's a war all that.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Now, let's let's go shut it down.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Let's get him, you know, back to one hundred percent
again and start the rehab process sooner than later. I
don't I don't think he's gonna need surgery, but still, uh,
he was kind of He's been going on a lot
of that pain and you know, one hundred catches he's over.
I think he's been eleven hundred yards there. Actually I'm

(01:23):
not even sure what what his yards are this year,
but you know, he's had a great season and he
has been a guy that I think has set the
tone for the rest of the team. So you know,
it's it's emmet like what he's been able to do.
Obviously that the stakes are not as high as they
were when he did that game and all that good stuff.
Still pretty big, pretty big performance out of out of

(01:46):
ceedee lamb. So all right, eight eight eight eight five
five two two nine seven is our number to call.
We already have a caller on the line, so let's
go right to it. Carolina. He lives in Carolina, but
he's on the road where you at right now?

Speaker 6 (02:00):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Man?

Speaker 7 (02:02):
About to cross over the line from streetport to some
chickens and this one for you?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Here we go, Here we go? All right? Love it?
You know I was born that was that's it.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Didn't stay long, but that means you in that's what
that means.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I don't know what.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Oh no, no, no, no, not really. I was one, so
I think it was like Gerber. You know, it was
like and then we moved.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
All right. Well, I hadn't heard from you in a
little bit, Carolina, been on the.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
Road, man. I just told I told Nick guys, I
got a bone to pick with you, man, I mean college.
He won't let me in, just put me on the
block list.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
For a while, I was going on, man.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, well the bone that you picked Chris.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
With them figures what he said. I got working, my bete.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Yeah, I'm going great. It was outstanding, wonderful. Still still
finding toys and things like that that need to put
together and all that good stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
But it's been great.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
They're buying batteries to getting batteries.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
You're right about that.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
So oh man, Well, man, I don't got too much
for you today. I just want to say, Man, I've
been loving with what the child boys have been doing. Man,
you know I heard you talking on Monday. You know
what you're saying. Okay, I'll be willing to keep McCarthy
just with a few wrinkles. And I think the biggest

(03:26):
wrinkle would be a offensive coordinator, just somebody to do
all the play calling and just let him run the
team as a whole. And not have to worry about that,
you know what I mean. Yeah, So I'm mind of
percenting with you on that, and I'm over here thinking like, man, can.

Speaker 8 (03:44):
We do it?

Speaker 7 (03:44):
Can we beat the Eagles? You know, see he's out.
Have you have you already updated? Only if Jeneral Hurts
is going to play.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I've not heard on Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
I would imagine that they're not going to properly, you know,
try to announce that that news it's going to come
down to, you know, if he's practicing at all, I
have a feeling he's not going to play.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
But and I usually am the other.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Way around when it comes to like another team star player,
I'm like, he's playing, he'll play. But in this case
it's a concussion.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I don't know. I would I would like.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Usually have at least one game out right with the protocols.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Starting to look that way, and it has been for
the Cowboys. Every concussion is different, every player is different
all that. But uh, you know, I thought he was
going to go back in the game the other day.
Maybe I was just thinking that way because he was
on my face.

Speaker 7 (04:36):
He definitely tried.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
He tried.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Hey, Hey, I'm.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
Good I'm good that he is.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Yeah, this is how bad I am. You know, I'm
playing for fantasy football. I'm like, let him play, come on,
let him go. He says he's good. He thumbs up,
He's good. What are we doing here?

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You know?

Speaker 9 (04:50):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Terrible?

Speaker 7 (04:53):
He definitely looks though. After he got up, he looked
like he wasn't all the way there. So I'm glad
they actually got him out of there. You know, he
don't one to shoot him hurt. No, Well for the
Eagles man, we kind of beat the Eagles man. We
already lost. We had a hard fault game. We played
them all the way up to the to the halftime
six six yeah, and then they just let him run

(05:13):
away with it. I just that that just hurt my soul.
Was it was it six to six of the half
or where they scored that last little quick score like
a minute or so.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
That's right, That's right, that's what it was. Because I
think I'll get my games mixed up. I think that
was the one that Zeke fumbled down there inside the
red zone and then they drove and overshown for a
sack and uh and then the bottom kind of dropped
out there in the second half. But uh yeah, it'll
be competitive. I think it'll be a competitive game. I
think the weather is going to play a factor. I

(05:46):
think it's gonna be kind of a sloppy game, messy,
you know. I think the Cowboys will have a shot
when you know, you have a shot to win these games.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
So we'll see Hurts out.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
You know, that us a big boost. I mean the
other guy, he's doing all right, Miter Pickett. But yeah,
I mean that's just like saying, Hey, we're going to
put Cooper Rush in and I hope we win that.
I think they're going with the same thing. I think
we just need to be able to ball up there
running games and keep to keep the balls out of
their their top receivers man, and figure out a way
to run the ball. And we can figure out a

(06:18):
way to run the ball, because apparently we struggled last game.
I mean it was it was. It was pretty bad. Yeah,
I mean, he couldn't really get nothing, and it just
made me think, like, dang, it's that what happens when
we played good defensive alignment, like and we've just been
running over bad things.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
You know, that's part of it, and that's part of it.
For sure.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
That's been some of the success here is going up
against teams that aren't very good and taking advantage of that.

Speaker 7 (06:44):
So yeah, well I hope for victory. We never want
to lose against Eagles. So go Cowboys. My score is
going to be twenty three seventeen. All right, I'm trigging
the old school score back. Love it, no Cowboys go?

Speaker 5 (07:02):
All right, sounds great. Thank you for Carolina being on
the road driving through Shreveport to Texas. All right, let's
go to Bruce. He's in Philly. That's where we're gonna be.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Bruce. What's up?

Speaker 6 (07:17):
What's up?

Speaker 10 (07:17):
Minie?

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Are you now?

Speaker 6 (07:19):
They say you're coming in hot, I'm coming in cold.
I missed the beginning of the show, so I couldn't
hear what was going on.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
I know you were on with Carolina, but I couldn't hear.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
So well, you know what, we had questions, but we
didn't answer that. Maybe somebody in Philly could answer. The
question was what's all status on Jalen Hurts? And I said,
I don't know, I don't know. Maybe you've heard more
than we have.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Well, I mean, my understanding is he's probably gonna be
out just because of that rule of anything else. I
don't think he's been cleared yet. Okay, so I don't
know what the rule is in terms of him being
cleared up until game time forty eight hours before at
least or something like that.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Yeah, you know, I'm not one hundred percent of share.
I mean, it's ninety minutes is before game time is
when he's got to be you know, he can be
clear to play.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
I don't know about the forty eight.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Hour rule, but uh, I honestly, the rules about concussion
protocol and all that's a little bit different. So, uh,
you know, he's gonna he's gonna have to practice. I
would think at some point during the weeks, Friday, today,
maybe some Saturday to get him to play. But uh,
maybe it's a situation where he's he's a backup, but

(08:37):
those are always sticky, you know, when he's the star quarterback.
So I don't know. We'll see, we'll find out he's
gotta go. He's gotta go win one way or another.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Yeah, yeah, definitely, it'd be interesting to see what happens.
So I called because I wanted to ask Nick because
it seems like, I mean, this is a great show.
I listen as as much as I.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Can like all the time, but I can't call in.

Speaker 10 (08:58):
All the time.

Speaker 9 (08:59):
But I think that.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
The quarterback position, especially for next year, is being underplay.
I know we're not into the autopsy part of the
season yet of dissecting the team. I'm on board with
bringing back all the coaching staff, but I'm wondering, like,
you know, did we jump in on to be won
too soon and too like? For next year? I think,

(09:22):
more importantly than anything, the backup quarterback position is the
most important position next year because I'm getting afraid that
we're entering that Romo territory where Romo got hurt against Carolina,
rebroke the collar, bron got hurt again in the preseason
next year, and I think Dak is entering that part
of his career and I'm afraid, like we're not giving

(09:43):
enough attention to what they're going to do next year
at the backup quarterback position.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Well, would you resign Cooper Rush?

Speaker 6 (09:52):
I would not, because I think the position has evolved
in a sense where.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
You need a guy that can turn bad.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
In the goods real quick. You see that with every
other quarterback, it seems in the NFL all.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Of them have a sense of mobility and Cooper Rush.

Speaker 6 (10:08):
I mean, the first trouble games got all slow Philly
in Houston. And I know that McCarthy has done a
great job of play calling around him, but you really
need a guy. And that's what made Dak so great
is that he could. He used to use his legs
on those third and four as those third and threes,
We've had so many short yarded situations where we've ended

(10:28):
up punting, and I think that Rush doesn't give us that.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
And I'm afraid that I'm not I'm not even sure
that that gives us that anymore.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Now.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Trey Lance is a kind of guy, but you know.

Speaker 6 (10:38):
He's lacking in other things in a sense.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
So I would I would like to see the Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
Go if you're looking at a backup guy, I like
Carson Wentz as an idea, if that's an option if
he doesn't get a job, or even somebody like Tyrod
Taylor who's started before, who gives us that kind of
quarterback mobility.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
But Rush and even Dak is lacking.

Speaker 6 (10:59):
A little bit in that, and that scares me a little.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
All right, all right, well that that you know, that's
not going anywhere obviously, so that that that's you have
to build around it. And uh, I like the you know,
I like the fact that Cooper Rush comes into the
game and you're right, he doesn't bring that element that
you're looking at. And you obviously, you know, are looking
for that quarterback that can run and and and get

(11:24):
out of truckle a little bit.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah, a little bit.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
And even Joe Burrow can do that, right, you wouldn't
think of him as a classic run. But I mean,
I need somebody who can who can get us four
yards and even run to throw, you know. And I
feel like both of our quarterbacks are the same in
that way where that's lost a little in that and
the one game where he's trying to get back to
that you see got hurt. But we need I think

(11:49):
we need a guy who can kind of sometimes cover
up some of the band plays that our line just
makes at Toms. And I think most of the quarterbacks
around the league give you that a little bit.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
They do they also create that place sometimes as well,
you know, so there there's there's a good in the
bat here. Cooper Rush is not a guy that's gonna
go and and and no one's ever gonna think he's
Michael Vick but at the same time, but at the
same time, he's he's a solid quarterback that's not gonna
make a ton of mistakes. He knows exactly where the
ball is supposed to go and how to get rid

(12:19):
of it and kind of get out of the trouble,
not by running but maybe by getting rid of the football.
So there's good to that and there's bad. It's not flashy.
He's also one nine. He's nine and four as a starter.
That's that's pretty that's pretty good, even if he loses
these next two games, and nine and six is a
starter as a backup, is that's pretty respectable for what

(12:40):
you want your backup to be. So me personally, I
know you disagree. I'm I'm trying to resign Cooper Rush
next year. I like I like the continuity that that
he has, especially if you've got McCarthy there. But I
do think there needs to be some changes in the uh,
in the offensive coordinator, maybe maybe the play calling, some
tweaks there. Because it's agree they got it, they gotta

(13:03):
change some of it, all right, Bruce, appreciate the call.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Thank you man. Hey, real quick, Bruce, are you going
to the game. You're going to the game.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
It's too cold for me.

Speaker 11 (13:13):
Nick.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
I'm going to some bad games, but not this winner. Uh,
the stakes aren't high enough this time. I'm man to
set this one out their fair.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I appreciate that. Yeah, fair.

Speaker 5 (13:24):
And also I'll throw another element to that too, because
what you're saying is it's cold in the game. The
stakes aren't high enough. But I can promise you the
tickets are are probably still pretty high.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
So I don't know if a going to be high.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
All right, it's still a cowboy games. So yeah, Nick,
hey man, you get up here and bring you.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Cold all right, We definitely will do that. Thank you, Bruce,
appreciate that. All right, Let's go to Davian in Illinois
two days in a row. Now, what's up, man, You're
making this a habit.

Speaker 12 (13:59):
I'm trying to. I know it's too late to get
get on the storyliners for for calling in, but I'm
trying to.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
You know, I know somebody on the committee and I
just talked to him, and uh, you know we we
we make exceptions to everything, so we'll see. You know,
I don't don't don't rule out anything at this point.
So what do you got, Man, what do you got?

Speaker 13 (14:22):
But today I got.

Speaker 12 (14:23):
I wanted to tell you to say, Man, I really
appreciate you, Chris, Derek, all, y'all, y'all my favorites towards
you and bron Us Nick and uh and uh there
always I'll been rocking with you since the beginning. I mean,
I will go all the way back to the beginning
of Capital Break, Lunch Break.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
All the kind of.

Speaker 12 (14:44):
Yeah, man, I was, I've been been rocking with y'all
since y'all started. So it's just been Uh, it's truly
a pleasure to get this where it's at.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Now appreciate it.

Speaker 12 (14:54):
It's definitely good times on the things. Got much today? Man,
you want to pop in, I'm away driving right now
with the kiddo, So just what's gonna say? I really
think we should win his The only contention on is
Jaalen players and Jalen players. I think we're gonna lose
because Jalen Cooper had not beat Jailing yet. So but

(15:17):
if Jalen don't play, then we got a great chance.
And if we don't play, I think the Cowboys will
win twenty four twenty one something like that. But if
he does and of course I don't think we will.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
But question for you, biggest surprise of the season, pleasant
surprise for this season and.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Biggest disappointment for this season for you.

Speaker 13 (15:39):
Putting you out.

Speaker 12 (15:41):
Put me on the t Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (15:46):
Biggest disappointment of course has been the coaching failure of
UH or whatever had going on with UH. With with
the Ricos to I really wish somebody would come out
honest with each other. What was that whole thing? Because
I don't understand why we said along to get to Rico.
I did not want Zeke back. Deeke was just he
was done. I don't know why we brung him back.
But that's what that's hiding there there. Biggest, biggest surprise

(16:11):
was over shown that is man, that guy is to
say he got hurt. That was my guys. I was
gonna probably get the jersey here Friday next next year.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
But you can still get it. You can get it.

Speaker 12 (16:25):
Yeah. Well, I hope we go to the zero though.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
It'll be cool if we go to.

Speaker 12 (16:29):
The zero, but uh, but yeah, that'd be my biggest, biggest,
my pleasant surprise of him and Mary Lee Fi was
looking pretty good too, so I mean both of them
were really looking real nice. I really enjoyed both. Yeah,
and like I said, we're looking forward to uh this
space on Monday talking about some more of this draft.

(16:49):
So if anybody want to tune in, we do a
space on Monday nights about the draft.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
Okay, well it's it's that it's about that time to
start talking about it for sure, starting to see these
players declared for the draft and all that. Davi and y'all,
y'all be safe on the road with your kiddo. Appreciate
the call again and always the honest feedback. I love that,
so appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Happy New year to y'u.

Speaker 12 (17:17):
I would definitely check in probably next year, next next year,
of course.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
All right, next week, see you next problem.

Speaker 12 (17:23):
So we'll see you next week.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
All right, I bet you we we talked to you
before the years out. All right, let's go to Zach
in Atlanta?

Speaker 8 (17:32):
What is up, Nick?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
How are you doing?

Speaker 8 (17:36):
I'm good man. You know what the energy is. It's
Dallas Forever, Philly for never cry. Eagles Cry. Dare I
say die, Eagles die, because we're gonna get them this
Sunday man something goofy, backup, quarterbacks, go over. It's everybody's
favorite treat. They moved it out of the fleg zone
or the prime time zone flex. Yeah, they did because

(17:58):
it was you know, it's going to be. I'm gonna
go twenty four to twenty three Cowboys, and my wife
and I are driving to Texas tonight and we're spending
Christmas with my family for the next week. So I'll
get to watch a Cowboys game and a Texas Longhorns

(18:18):
game with my family for the first time in a
good while. So I'm hoping for some wins on both fronts.
But yeah, man, it's time to see what these number three,
four and five receivers got.

Speaker 13 (18:31):
You know.

Speaker 8 (18:31):
Yeah, Sam Mingo, let's stam Tolbert. You know, that's a
spoon maker back involved. I feel like he hadn't had
any catches in the past game or two he was
he was doing well with Ferguson out, so just get
him going then, that's what we got to do.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's safe to say he's
been about comparable when he was the starter. I have
to look at the stats, but you know, comparable to
what Ferguson has been in there.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
It's the starter too.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
I'm not trying to stir up a tight end controversy
here or anything like that. But I'm just saying, and
that might be what the tight end one position gets you.

Speaker 8 (19:10):
Competition is good for business man's let's have two good
tight ends going for it.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yep, for sure that's him.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
Man. So oh, what's your what's your cheese steak preference?
In Philly? Where you're dropped in the middle of Philly,
where you're going.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Right in the center, right right there.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
I like options, you know, I like, I like I'm
one of those guys that that orders like the chicken
and the steak or the chicken, you know, just because
it's like, just give me some combinations they get, Just
give me options. So put me right there in the center.
I don't care if it sounds touristy or not. I
hate I was just telling Chris that yesterday. I hate
when people say that, like, don't go there those that's
a you know, don't go to patent Gino's, that's the

(19:51):
traditional spot. Put me right there. I look over here,
which line is longer? No, I'm going over here Dino's
pat I don't care. Right down the center. I don't
care about gyms or what's the one that was in
the movie Creed for I forget that one. There's another
one in there. I'm Max or something like that. Pill
be right there. I can look at two options, and
I'm going for the shortest line. That's that's what I

(20:13):
go with.

Speaker 8 (20:14):
Love it, love it. We'll eat one for me. Man,
you'll have a safe shirt.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Man, appreciate it. Thank you? All right? Man, good to
hear from Zach.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
You know, the the guys that run the cafeteria here,
it's called the Training Table. They got a sense of humor,
they always do. They being clever, uh, with the food
options that they give. And so we had Philly cheese
steaks yesterday at lunch. Of course, not everybody got to
partake in that because most people aren't here, but but

(20:44):
the ones that are here and did get to eat
lunch got the Philly cheese steak for sure.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
All Right, let's go to Dylan Northport, Florida.

Speaker 10 (20:52):
Hey, good morning, Jolan.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
What's up.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Hey, I haven't been listening this morning so far. I
got to listen backcause anybody asked you what your favorite
christ as president was that you got?

Speaker 9 (21:01):
No?

Speaker 11 (21:02):
What was?

Speaker 10 (21:03):
It?

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Sucks?

Speaker 4 (21:05):
No?

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Got some?

Speaker 5 (21:07):
And actually I mean it's up there. It's up there
in the list. I'll tell you my favorite president that
I got. My wife got me this, and it's weird
because we have a VR headset that was purchased and
then there's an Xbox Games and all that. But I
also got the like the flash drive to put in
for like twenty thousand retro games. So I played old

(21:28):
school Nintendo games while my son is playing like his
VR headset. I'm playing like Mike Tyson's Punch Out RBI Baseball.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
And I loved it.

Speaker 13 (21:38):
One.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Yeah, I didn't get into that, but but yeah, it was,
but that was one of my favorite games. A Super
Mario Brothers. I'm playing all this kind of stuff. So
it was like it was like back to the future
of video games in our household in one day, I
mean to see VR and then and then you know,
the Xbox games, Fortnite and all that. Tried to play

(22:00):
with Chris the other day. You think you think Chris
can can can run this board, you should see him
on Fortnite's Assassin Anyways.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, sure, no, I've talked to Chris about some of
the game. I'm gonna have a game or two, so
we talked a little bit about it. Some of the
games he played. It's crazy, though, how much stuffs people
if I can't imagine where it's going to go in
the next ten to fifteen twenty years, right, yeah, man,
So you know we're coming down in August or so
for for camp, so that'd be cool. My wife actually
got me VIP tour tickets. I don't think they're available yet,

(22:33):
but she got me a plane ticket and I'll be
coming down just before that in July to do the
the VIP tour of the stadium and all that fun stuff.
I've never been before, so i'd be really cool to
do that. So I got like back to back Cowboys stuff. Man,
I'm so pumped.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Nice in July.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
In July, I'll be doing the tour.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
You know what, when Bruce and Philly said to me,
you didn't hear the show, but he's in Philly, he said, hey,
enjoy the trip. Bring your coat. I won't say that
you and when you come down here in July, I
won't be seeing that, so you don't need you don't
need that.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Okay, I'll bring my storyline, sure, frame.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
Here, cut off sleeves maybe you know, and turn it
into a tank top. Yeah, we don't talk weather, but
I could tell you what July is going to feel
like here, and it's going to be like an oven.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
So cool, nice, all right, nice as far as football goes, man,
just real quick, I just wanted to give map prop
because I haven't heard many people talk about Mary's leafau
the development he's had this season and what he's kind
of become. As far as the two games in a row,
punching balls.

Speaker 10 (23:30):
Out and stuff.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
He's hitting hard, hitting legal, which is just as important.
But he's developing nicely.

Speaker 13 (23:36):
Man.

Speaker 10 (23:36):
I'm excited, he really is.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
And then you know that looks like a good, solid
draft pick as well. Yeah, I like I like his game, smart,
smart player. You know, they gave him he can sing,
he can sing. The problem with that is that, you know,
we try to do certain things with him, and you know,
and singing and you gotta have copyrights to have everything. Anymore,

(24:01):
you can't even sing any song that you've ever heard of.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
So it's we neither write a storyliner song and give
it to him.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
You know what, if you know somebody that can kind
of create like a group of people and put them
on Twitter or something like that, and then y'all can
recruit that and then y'all can have singing competitions and
all that.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, it'd be fun.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah, yeah, I know a guy I'll put a post on.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
All right, Yeah, figure that out and come out. You know,
that's what I love about that. You know, you have
groups like this, somebody's got talent, you know, like we
probably have a doctor in the group. We got a
singer in the group. We have I know we have
some singers because I've heard them, and you know we
got some rappers. Kind of all good.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
All right, nick man, have a good weekend, Thank you too.

Speaker 5 (24:46):
All right, Dylan, Northport, Florida. Let's take a break here, man,
time's going by quickly. We're gonna take a break here
on storyline. Be right back to get another.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
The Cowboys story line.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
All right, welcome back to Cowboys storyline. We're gonna move
quickly here to another caller.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
We have Champ. He's in Nebraska. How's it going over?
Good morning, Good morning? How are you.

Speaker 13 (26:47):
I'm wonderful.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
For the weekend.

Speaker 9 (26:51):
You'll no, no, actually we haven't. Just a lot of
sprinkle okay, yeah, so hey, real quick, I wanted to
throw a couple of things at you. I didn't get
a movie, and I know Christmas has already passed, but
I hadn't heard this one mentioned Eight Crazy Nights the
Adam Sandler One ever watched it?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Yeah, yeah, I've seen it.

Speaker 9 (27:11):
Yeah, that's one of my favorites. I don't watch it
every year, but it's a really good movie. Other than that,
I have to go with Christmas Vacation.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (27:20):
Also, I was listening to one O five point three
of the Fan this morning when they interviewed coach McCarthy,
and man, he sounded really upbeat in a good mood,
and I'm thinking, this doesn't sound like a man that's
coaching for his job. For these last two games, so
you know, no CD or anything for him to sound
the way he did. I'm thinking maybe something's already been told.

(27:43):
You know, he's been told. Hey, maybe we don't announce
it yet, but we're bringing me back. He just sounded really,
really good. I don't know if you heard his his
interview or anything, but he sounded like somebody that wasn't
they I just lost my best offensive play and I'm
coaching for my job and he's not available.

Speaker 13 (28:04):
What do I do?

Speaker 9 (28:04):
He sounded completely different. Then I had a couple of
people that I heard talking about him, Takuan's chance at
of rushing records. You know, he's still a couple of
hundred yards out, but he's done that already this year.
I think against the Rams or somebody. He went off
on him, and I was thinking, would fans be willing

(28:25):
to give him that rushing record against us as long
as we got the win in a somewhat meaningless game. Personally,
take it. I don't care if he rushes for five
hundred yards and we win by one point. I'm okay
with it. I want to win. But you know some
people may be like, no, it's a meaningless win. I

(28:45):
don't want him breaking that record against us, So I
don't know what your take on that is. I have
the Cowboys, Eric squeaking out, Eric.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
Has the record, right, Eric, are you talking about the
correct yea? And yes, who who did he break it
against in week sixteen?

Speaker 6 (29:04):
That I don't know?

Speaker 9 (29:05):
Yeah, me either, I'm talking about me take one breaking it. Yeah,
there you go exactly like.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Nobody would know. He knows that. That's just when they game. Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 13 (29:17):
I see what you did there, and I agree, win
the game.

Speaker 9 (29:21):
I got the Cowboys winning a close one. I have
a sixteen fourteen somehow pulling it out. I think the
defense is going to keep us in it. I don't
know how we're going to score many points, but I
find it. I see his scoring just enough. Okay, So
I hope you guys have a great weekend, no Cowboys,
and we'll talk to you next week hopefully.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
All right. Sounds good, Thanks Champ. Good to hear from you. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
I mean, that's that's interesting, and he's got he's got
a long ways to go to break the record. The record.
I mean I looked this up. I mean, Eric Dickerson
had like twenty one hundred yards like twenty one oh five.
He's at eighteen thirty. He's trying to get the two
hundred yard I mean two thousand yards. Uh, and you know,

(30:04):
not a lot of players have ever done that. I
think it's like seven or eight. So I mean he
could get there. I mean, he could get twenty one
hundred if if that's all that that they're trying to do.
But you know they're they're they're trying to win the game,
and you know, they shook got a lock up the division,
and then they're trying to get home field advantage throughout
the playoffs and that number one seed. Now, I'll say
all that if if hurts is even if he plays

(30:26):
he's banged up, or if he doesn't play, the focus
is going to be on running the ball and trying
to you know, let your other star players, you know,
make him plays those games that that Aikman didn't play,
I mean, they they leaned on Emmett even more in
those games and rightfully so. So it's not a bad strategy.
Get the ball to Barkley. He's been you know, in
my opinion that I don't have an MVP vote, I

(30:48):
would vote him as the MVP. I know it's a
quarterback award now and the and the Offensive Player of
the Years is a non quarterback award, is what it
seems like. But you know, if you're gonna call it
an MVP Most Valuable Player, I would say it's Saquon
Barkley for me, for what he's done to the league,

(31:09):
to that team. They had Hurts, they had Brown, they
had you know, all those guys. He's coming here and
changed things. He's brought some value there, Josh Allen, and
you know, I mean, if they're not going to give
it to my homes every year, it's kind of like
Michael Jordan. If you're not going to do that, then
then then switch it up. But I think Barkley should
be worthy of MVP votes because I think he's brought

(31:31):
a lot of value there.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
For sure. Let's go to Randy and san Antonio is
our next caller. Randy, Hey, Nick, how are you good?
How are you doing?

Speaker 11 (31:39):
I'm doing great, Great Christmas. I'll throw my movie in
real quick, The Original Miracle on thirty fourth Street, and
then I love Vacation as well. Uh nice, real quick.
I got a it was really fun. I got to
call an audible. I was going to call and talk
a little bit about one of the coaches on the staff.
You know, you become fans of guys for different reasons.

(32:02):
But I got to talk to Daron Woods them, so
that was probably even better than talking about the coach.
Oh yeah, But you know, we talked about the higher ups,
and we've talked a lot about whether we want something
to change or not. And I always think, man, if
you change the head coach, you're starting over to some degree,
and where do you go from there? But I was

(32:24):
stationed in Kingsville, Texas from nineteen ninety four to nineteen
ninety six, and I had a great secondary on that team.
But their main cornerback was a guy that started out
in Tampa Bay, then he went to Philadelphia, then he
went to Green Bay, and now he's coaching with Dallas.
So yeah, it's Al Harris. You know where does that

(32:46):
leave guys like that? Right? I think most people would
like for him to stay. But at some point, I
think if you bring in a new coach, you say, hey,
you get to bring your own guys in. But I
think most of the fans would love to keep Alhera here.
But what do you got to do to do that
if you go one of these different directions. I'm not
a big fan of when you've had so much success

(33:10):
starting over. Just something to think about. Yeah, I think
it's going to be kind of a wild game this
weekend with Philadelphia, so we'll see what happens. I probably
lean towards Philadelphia win in though I hate doing it.
Score something kind of crazy. Thirteen cannot like what people think.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
And you're one of the few people that probably know
what a have Alna is.

Speaker 11 (33:38):
Well, I do know what a Haveleena is for a
long time. You know, when they would score when I
was there, they would throw tortillas in the air. And
now I'll tell you I was all in on the Havelinas.
While I was stacing there. Al Harris had an interception
in a game, and it's probably the most excited I've
ever been, you know, during a sporting ben up to

(34:01):
that point. And then the game was one of the
most disappointed I'd ever been because they had seven guys
that went into the NFL from the two years I
was there.

Speaker 13 (34:11):
Yeah, and end.

Speaker 11 (34:12):
Up losing in the playoffs to UC Davis.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Got it Division two football there.

Speaker 5 (34:20):
Yeah, My college, Midwestern State, played a and m Kingsville
several times. Havelna is a is a hog. It's not
a razorback because Z only one razorback, but it's like that.
It kind of looks like that that as well the logo.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
All right, Randy, but yeah.

Speaker 11 (34:37):
Real quick, I don't think when I was there, I
don't think Midwestern State had a team because I grew
up in the Witch Tap Falls area as well.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Ninety one came back, came back in ninety one.

Speaker 11 (34:46):
Football was I went in the Navy in nineteen ninety.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Okay, ninety one came back. All right.

Speaker 5 (34:52):
I'm glad they did because they had some facilities that
the Cowboys used for training camp.

Speaker 9 (34:57):
And that's how camp got you in the door.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Screw me up.

Speaker 5 (35:00):
Yeah, that's right, all right, Randy, appreciate that good stuff.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Let's go.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Lines are open here. We're gonna take a break. Eight
eight eight eight five five two two ninety seven. Will
be right back to the break and hopefully get a
couple more calls.

Back to Cowboys storyline.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
All right, welcome back to Cowboys storyline. We've got a
few more minutes here to wrap up the show. Wrap
up this week and I was driving in today, and
I said, if I get a call from North Carolina,
I'm gonna it's gonna bring me back to what's kind
of been on my mind here the last I would
say twelve to twenty four hours. So I'll tell you what, man,

(36:54):
I don't feel old. But when you start losing people
that you went to college with. Second roommate in college,
he's from North Carolina, a huge Cowboy fan, and he
passed away over over the last couple of days, shocking.
So I'll tell you what, its life is so short.
I don't have to say that to you guys. You
guys know that, but sometimes we get these reminders about it.

(37:15):
So my man, Zach, he was a big Cowboy fan
and he's living in North Carolina, or he was and
living in North Carolina. So it's just a sad deal.
That's what I got the news last night. Hearing from
a buddy like, hey, how's it going. Then you realize, oh,
you're calling for bad news, like not good. So anyways,

(37:36):
hug your friends, call your friends, you love ones, all
that stuff.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
You guys know it.

Speaker 5 (37:41):
But uh, yeah, he was a huge Cowboy fan. Man,
always talk talk to Cowboy football. So all right, let's go.
But now we do have a caller from North Carolina.
That's what brought me to that. So Eric in North Carolina. Eric,
what's up?

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Man? Hey Nick, how's it going good?

Speaker 10 (37:56):
I am sorry for your loss. And Zach that was
sad to hear.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
Yeah, just saw him a couple of years ago. A
couple of years ago, got to he flew in. We
got to hang out at our at our old college
in Midwestern state. It was a homecomings. We got to
hang out, but we were playing on another trip at
some point to do that. So anyways, life is life
is short.

Speaker 10 (38:17):
At least y'all got to hang out that time, though,
you know, you got to. You got some memories.

Speaker 13 (38:21):
Sure.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (38:23):
But I like your question that you posed earlier as
far as like what's the biggest disappointment, and like what's
the the happiest thing. I guess you might say, yeah, just.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
Your biggest surprise, you know, like a pleasant surprise and
then a disappointment.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
What about.

Speaker 10 (38:40):
Well, my biggest surprise was actually the play of Josh
Butler corner h and then my biggest my biggest disappointment
was the numerous season ending injuries, especially the key players.
But it kind of gives me a hope for next year.

(39:00):
I thought Josh Butler played really nice. Wish I had
so many corner uh injuries, and definitely don't like the
play of injury Booth. He's got like no technique. I
think he's just very poor.

Speaker 11 (39:15):
And then.

Speaker 10 (39:17):
He's made a couple of plays, but he's still blottle average.
But uh, you know, Butler heels from his A C
l U injury. I'm looking forward to see him play
some more next year.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
Yeah, Butler's he was just a fighter. You know that
Washington game, he was just scrapping. I mean, they they
kept throwing at him and he was giving up plays.
I mean, he was part of that long touchdown. Uh
you know that that that tied the game or almost
tied the game. They they didn't have to make extra
points in the league to tie the game.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
But you know, I mean he was part of that too.
But still, there was something about his play.

Speaker 5 (39:57):
Was he was he was fighting, man. It was it
was a tough injury. But you know, the whole cornerback
and they were just they were just you know, trying
to figure out who to play next. And you know
over here and Butler here and Booth and Kayln Carson.
I mean it was it was not not to be expected.
It was supposed to be Digs and Bland and then

(40:18):
you know in Jordan Lewis, that's what it was supposed
to be and certainly didn't work.

Speaker 10 (40:21):
They played one, I know, yeah, yeah, I thought Butler,
I think he had like good savvy and good anticipation.
He seemed like he understands the game real well. But
but yeah, just the injuries to like Overstone and Prescott
and Lawrence and then you know Parsons for those like

(40:42):
what five games and Martin and uh, you know, on
and on and on. But I still enjoy watching the
Cowboys play. You know, I watched them all winter lose.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:55):
Well, you know there's been a lot of disappointment this
year obviously, Yeah, but you know it's it's I would
throw Jake Ferguson in there is you know, just the
disappointment that we didn't see him take that next level.
You know that that was that was one that I wanted.
I thought he would kind of do that and take

(41:17):
that he got injured. So it's not just it wasn't
just all uh just that he caught me, caught fifty
pass or so. But but just you know, not, it
just wasn't that next level that I thought maybe he
had in him.

Speaker 10 (41:28):
Yeah, is that his third year?

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Yes, Yeah, he's okay, Yes, I mean he's up for contract.
I mean he could, he could. No, he's not up
for a contract. He's got one more year. But I
mean they could give they want.

Speaker 10 (41:40):
They probably will not, but yeah, I wouldn't mind letting
him go in free agency and maybe by then, you know,
Schoonmaker will be you know, developed. I think I think
Scoonmaker is a good receiver. He surprised me the few
times he's called a pass. He seemed like a real
smooth receiver. I think he just got to continue to

(42:02):
work on his blocking and different things.

Speaker 13 (42:04):
Of course.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
Anyways, all right, well appreciate it, Eric, have a nice I.

Speaker 10 (42:10):
Hope you have a perfect day. Oh and one quick thing,
a shout out to my step.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Daughter Ashley who's getting married tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (42:19):
Nice, Well, good luck with that, and uh yeah that
should be awesome. Awesome there little Christmas, New Year's wedding
and good stuff. All right, let's go to Josh. He's
next in Chicago. Josh, what's up man?

Speaker 9 (42:34):
Not much?

Speaker 17 (42:34):
How you doing today.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
I'm good, I'm good.

Speaker 17 (42:36):
Thanks for calling, Yes, sir, Yeah, I kind of agree
with one of the other callers about Mike It's out,
you know, shutting down CD. I kind of wonder if
he's already got something working about a new contract, which
you know, I'm okay with, especially if we make a
few changes or tweets on the offensive side. But talking
about backup quarterbacks for next year, I agree with you.
I mean, like, if they resigned Cooper Rush, I'm gonna

(42:57):
be okay with that. I kind of want to Trey
Lancy's last two games, though, you know, let's see what
he has and to try to evaluate him. You know,
I don't think there's any meaningless games where you can
evaluate players. So make it mean something by getting being
him a chance maybe and see what he can actually
do in this offense and see where it goes. Maybe
he are back up next year, who knows.

Speaker 13 (43:17):
But yeah, I'm going sorry, no, I.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
I hear you.

Speaker 5 (43:21):
That's that's what's made this whole thing kind of tricky,
with the two quarterbacks both being unrestricted free agents next year,
and you're kind of trying to see what the plan is,
what what are they trying to do and who are
they trying to evaluate for what you know, and for who?

Speaker 1 (43:34):
So I it's.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
Showing me that they they are leaning towards Cooper Rush,
trying to bring him back, trying to you know, keep
keep it going with him. And I don't know if they,
I mean, if they need to see Trey Lance. It
just seems like a fourth round pick that they just
gave away. Honestly.

Speaker 17 (43:53):
Yeah, I mean you might be right about that too, right,
Like that might be the saying, hey, we're done with him.
Because Cooper Rush has been serviceable and especially when the
line plays well and he actually has some time to throw,
he can make some good throws. He's made some, you know,
obviously poor ones. But he's a backup, you know, so
there's a reason why he's not a starter. Yeah, but
he's been a serviceable backup. So I'm not trying to
disrespect him at all. He's won games. You know, he's

(44:15):
got to get winning record as as a starter, so
you know, he does good stuff.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 5 (44:20):
Yeah, I think I think he has been everything you
would want to for a backup quarterback to be. I mean,
other than more mobile, you want that, but but you know,
sometimes those guys are pretty erratic too with the ball.
If they're a backup quarterback, that's that's that could run
around like that, then there's the reason why he doesn't start.

(44:41):
And then sometimes that that kind of surfaces throughout the game.
So I'll take solid and take care of the football.
But that's something that Cooper Rice has got to do.
You know, he doesn't he fumbles sometimes. I mean, he's
not a he's not a great athlete, you know. And
you know you see Bake Mayfield caught like six six

(45:02):
of these snaps. Well high low. Same with Dak Romo
was great at it. The ball's not right here for
Cooper Rush. Sometimes the other team has it in its
first down. So that's you gotta live with that, all right.

Speaker 17 (45:16):
For the Oh sorry for this week. I'm just I'm
predicting the Cowboys win. I think this defense is just
playing so well. I think Mike Karl Lawson playing well
and obviously lea foul. I hopefully Kendrick Field's back on
the field. But I'm going now Cowboys twenty eight and
we'll go Eagles seventeen.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
Oh nice, that would be it.

Speaker 17 (45:33):
I don't think Hurt's plays though, that would be.

Speaker 5 (45:35):
Hey, don't feel sorry for anybody. So all good, all
good if that happens. Now Pickett, you know, I mean
he's he's a good quarterback.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
I mean he was.

Speaker 5 (45:44):
I mean a couple of good years for the for
the Steelers. You know, I think he was seven, seven
and ten. I think I saw that seven and five.
It was seven and five, two years in a row
as a starter. So he's fourteen and ten as a
starter with Pittsburgh. They moved on obviously, and and now
you know, but he I saw him in the game.

(46:04):
He wouldn't feel in that great either, had some ribs injuries.
They still they should have won that game. He had
a perfect pass there on fourth quarter, should have one,
should have locked up the division. How different would things
be now if that's the case. So we'll see. All right,
let's go to another caller here. Paul is in Racine, Wisconsin.
Did I say that right? Racine?

Speaker 13 (46:21):
You did? It's great to seek you. I go back
to I think it was when I first started listening
to you and Derek, like around two thousand and seven,
and I think you had some young lady and who
was from Wisconsin. I forget she moved down, but I
just remember listening. Yeah, I think it was right around that.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
I think Da Wall was from Wisconsin. That's right, Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 5 (46:46):
Well, because the fact that I'm having to figure out
how to say it racine, which means I've never said
it before, which means first time caller, which means.

Speaker 3 (46:58):
Here we go.

Speaker 13 (47:00):
So no, it's good to finally speak guy. I listen
as much as I can on the app and through
the internet. But a couple of things about the Comboys
that I wanted to talk to you about. Number one
you met biggest surprise it has to be Rico Dabbo.
And let me just let me just say why. I
think when you think about, like in any employment situation, right,

(47:24):
you're competing against peers, and it would have been really
easy for him to shut down after they re signed Ezekiel,
like what, I'm not good enough, And he never did that.
He just kept his head down, kept working, and now
he's a thousand yard rusher and he's proven that he
deserves the rock. He's the main guy. He deserves the rock.

(47:45):
Biggest disappointment, and I kind of watch your thoughts on
this is for me, Tyler Goydon, just because he didn't
show enough to me to prove that he can be
that dominant left tackle that we've had historically for a
very long time. He's a Cowboys offensive line and do
you think he at any point there in the season

(48:06):
he made business decisions?

Speaker 5 (48:09):
I won't say that because that now I'm just going
down a road that I don't know, Like, I don't
know that. You you can say that and I know
exactly what you're saying and what you're you're referring to.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
I I don't.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
I don't know that, and I don't I don't know
him well enough to say that's what I think is happening.
I'll agree with you though it wasn't a good It
wasn't a good rookie year for a first round pick.
And we've said that's two years in a row now
that the first round pick has been disappointing. There's more
to it than just talent. You know, he comes in

(48:45):
the game the other day and you know, gives up
a sack. Just it just doesn't he just not as
plugged in as he is he is. He feels like
he should be the fact that he's not even starting
and and that's that's not it's which is not it's
not ideal. You you expected more. They they wanted this
Tyler Smith, That's what they wanted. They wanted to.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Draft a guy like that.

Speaker 5 (49:07):
Now they knew he was going to be a little
bit of a of a a more of a project.
But to this point, I think that's still somewhat disappointing
that he is not starting over too many Doga because
too Manydoga is a better left tackle than him.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
That's I think a disappointing part.

Speaker 13 (49:22):
I agree. I just I see him and you mentioned
the number one pick from the year prior Mazzie. I
look at him and I just don't see like one
hundred percent effort. I mean, Mazzie can't get off blocks. Man,
he just can mac get off a block. I don't
know what it is with that guy, but you know,
I just see it like a lack of real hardcore

(49:45):
effort there. And that's just me. The other thing I
wanted to ask you about. You know, we're seeing like
the you know, teams later in the year when they
substitute players in, they're fresher, they give you more than
maybe some of your everyday start. Could you ever see
a situation, particularly now with the Lincoln season where you're

(50:06):
platooning guys a little bit, and I know they put
people on pitch counts like Mica and stuff like that,
But I just think that you see, like across the league,
not just the Cowboys, but across the league, when you
bring in guys halfway two thirds of the way through
the season who maybe haven't played a lot, they seem
to be fresher and they give you more. What's your

(50:27):
thoughts on that?

Speaker 5 (50:28):
Well, all right, I appreciate the call, Paul, Well, we're
up against it time wise. I'll answer that as quickly
as I can. I mean that there's always give and take.
There's give and take when when you're talking about resting
players and you know fresh players, you also want the
guy you know he's not starting for a reason, so
you're giving up something there. And because of the way

(50:50):
it is with salary cap and all that, every no
one has a ton of depth to just be bringing
these guys in with no drop off. So there's there's
cases you could make where guys do come in and
there they are fresh and they're good, But what what
is what are their warts? What what's the reason why
they don't start? Is it you know, just just because

(51:12):
there's too many good players, because there's not a lot
of teams that have that luxury. So I think you
got to just you pick your spots. It comes down
to the coaching, It comes down to the preparation, comes
down to to the overall scheme of you you know,
buying in uh. You know these running backs that are
that are paying attention and what's going on in the

(51:33):
meetings and practice and all that, so that means when
they do get their turn, they're ready to go. I
think it comes down to coaching more than it comes
down to rest and things like that, because I think
you want your best players to play. I hear what
you're saying, but I think that there's there's times where
it's more more than just rest and and fresh legs.

Speaker 10 (51:55):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (51:55):
It's a combination of a lot of things, and I
think it's probably a lot more of a discussion. And
we have time for here because we are rolling into
the next show, Cowboys Breaks coming up next here in
a few minutes. So for everyone, thanks a lot of
good calls today, ten calls got the first time callers.
Good to hear from you guys. We will be back
on Monday, to talk about Cowboys and Eagles for Chris Beam.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
I'm Nick Eatman. See next time on Cowboys storyline.

Speaker 4 (52:17):
This has been a production of dallascowboys dot Com and
the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
