Speaker 1 (00:16):
Welcome to jag VEM today.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
I'm Kindannie Stevens.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hope you all had a RESTful and enjoyable bye week
as the Jaguars are getting ready to take on second
half of their season after a week off.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
J P. Shatrick and for Brian Sexton. Today John Oser
with us as well.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
So let's go through some of our big things for
you after the bye week.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
They're brought to you by GEH Government Employees.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Health Association Benefits for federal employees and retirees.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Big thing number one is Trading Block.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
JPI tried to check out a little bit this week,
not look too much into social media and all the
things that were going on, but I did see Diana
Rossini released a report that said they Jaguars were listening
to calls for Brian Thomas Junior. We don't know the
validity of that, of course, but hearing that not anything
anybody probably wanted to hear at that point. But considering
the struggle of BTJ has been having, is that a
reasonable thing to think is gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Or was that just a rumor?
Speaker 3 (01:02):
You know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
If the phone rings, I think they'll answer it. You know,
there's one of those things. I was an organ this
week and I had fifty degrees. I'm bald, right, so
I had to wear the Jaguars stocking cap, and I
had a guy one of the Oregon stores asked me about, Hey,
what's going on with Brian Thomas Junior.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I'm like, what do you mean. He's like, he's on
my fantasy team. He's not doing anything.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
So it seems like one of those situations. He's a
good football player. He's going through it John right now.
But you just gotta kind of stick with it and
we'll see what happens in the next week. But I
just don't know if this is gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Yeah, I don't think he gets traded. When teams call
during the bye week, people pick up the phone and
I think it's what happened. But I don't expect him
be traded. He does need to improve on what's going on.
Their issues going on with Brian Thomas Junior. But I
would be shocked at this point if he doesn't work
(01:56):
through those problems with the Jaguars.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, I think much ado it nothing.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
We'll keep everybody updated, of course, if anything does develop.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Our big thing Number two is bye week buy in.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
So we talked a lot about what went on in
the last two games before the bye week before we left,
and those two kind of frustrating losses, especially the one
against the Rams. But John, we get a little bit
of a seek peek here into some of the meetings
and what goes on with the players and Liam Cohen
meeting with the team before they took that break, and
it really doesn't feel like he's lost the room whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
He still has that buy in.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
It feels like everybody's still on the same page going
to the second half.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
Well, just based on as you said, the team meetings
and then on his Monday media availability, I think he
has buy in because I think he has a very
realistic grasp of what's going on. His theme has been, hey,
you know, there's no reason we can't turn this around.
(02:52):
If we played the kind of football that we played
early in the season, and if we get back to
what we are and really stopped me in it easy
for their teams. So he's as good as I've been around.
Tony Dungee was as good as there was at after
a loss, sort of calm in the waters. Liam's the
(03:13):
same level and Tony Dungeon's a Hall of Famer, So
I think in terms of players buying in JP, they
know what reality is in the NFL, and when their
coach grasps it, I think it's easy for them to
follow this guy, and I think he's laid a groundwork
for buying.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
And there's actual proof of success this year. We've had
seasons around here before where the team is one in
seven or zero to eight.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I mean, they're four and three.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
They're the number seven seed in the AFC playoffs that
it started today, which it won't a lot of seasons
to go. But they've had winning results even though they're
battling through some things internally, penalties drops, the list is
longer than that, So there is some positivity there. They've
been able to get winning results and you've got some
proof of what they can actually do if they are
(04:02):
able to clean some of these things up.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yes, there's a lot of positives ahead, everything ahead for
this team. Our final big thing is down the stretch
now that they've had the bye week. It's all about
focusing going forward and winning the games that are on
their schedule. But JP, we look at some of the
issues we talked about before obviously, what is your main focus.
What's the number one thing that needs to get fixed
down the stretch?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Well, I mean it's penalties, clearly. I think that's the
number one thing. They've only I think they're.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
What fourth in the league now and accepted penalties after
Sunday's games, and they've played one less game than the
other three teams in front of them.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
So do the math on that one.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
They had eighteen flags against them in London, thirteen of
those accepted.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Cut that in half.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
Maybe you got a better shot in some of these games, John,
So for me, it's penalties number one.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Yeah, And I think mine is also based on penalty.
They have to be able to run and they have
to be able to function offensively. I think until they
cut out the penalties and the avoidable errors, the functioning
errors that they talk about, Trevor can't give up early
sacks that just lead to sort of four yard differences,
(05:08):
which you say, wow, what's the problem with picking up
second and thirteen, Well, it's harder to do that than
picking up second and six is the problem. So I
think if you get back to at least giving yourself
a chance to line up, Like JP said, I think
it solves a lot, and you've got to start catching
the ball. I mean, it's drops. It's not okay to
(05:31):
have two or three easy drop passes a game. Think
about how many drives that kills. Maybe three and you
get nine in a game. It's a third year offense
that you're giving away dropping the ball.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah, and you know you go back to that down
in distance things second and thirteen. Well, I mean, if
they're dropping the ball, then it's third and thirteen, right,
So you're just adding on to it.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
And guess what.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Max Crosby's coming up this week too in Vegas. So
pass rushers are pretty much on every team. You get
those down in dis situations, that's not a favorable look.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
For this team.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
A lot of stuff to clean up going forward.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
But as we mentioned, they are four and three. So
coming up after the break, we're gonna go over our
highlights from the first half the season for the Jaguars
tags fans. If you want customized Jaguars furniture for your home,
check out zipchare dot com to brows all the customizable options.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Zip Chair is furniture for fans.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
It's all right in front of us man.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
Everything we want, everything we talked about doing and wanted
to do.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Is all right in front of us.
Speaker 7 (06:38):
I can't be more excited. God yet, has it been
our best last two weeks?
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Not known?
Speaker 7 (06:43):
But man, isn't that some of the control. Shouldn't that
be the exciting part about it? It's not that we
over here Kennel kick did. We can control everything, every
single aspect of what we do moving forward. We can
(07:04):
control get away, get away from it, do what you
gotta do individually to reset, recalibrate, and let's come back
on Monday, guys with a renewed understanding.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
But nothing that.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Needs no change.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Right.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
It's right here in this room.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
All the answers and solutions are right here for us
to just keep going and take the next step.
Speaker 7 (07:32):
But the details matter, they do, and it starts here.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Us as coaches need to do it.
Speaker 6 (07:39):
Coach it better, but we gotta go do it better
as well. On the games we all got on that
guy's understand let's go Giants.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
If Nam Cohen talking to the team before the bye
week last week, if you haven't checked it out, I
do want to recommend that you do it. I believe
I think it's technically a hunt extra but it's about
to minutes and it's kind of the meeting, the recap
post frustrating loss in London, and kind of what the
team talked about before they went on the break, And
(08:09):
that's kind of what led me into the segment a
little bit because after he talks a little bit about
the mistakes that they made and taking ownership of some
of the stuff they did wrong, they went over some
of their highlights of the season and how they can
some of the best things that they did in the
first half. So I think it's important for us to
remember to be positive around here because it has been
dire times before.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Yeah, I mean, they have done some good things.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
It is a long football season. It's been you know,
seven weeks now eight with the bye week. They've done
some positive things.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
They've won four of.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
The games out of more than they lost.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
That's like a winning record last I checked. So, yeah,
they could be better. They could be a whole lot worse.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
John, Well, they're four and three and I thought going
into the season they were an eight, nine, ten win
team depending on how they played within that and I
thought they would get beaten badly a couple of times
because usually first year regimes in the NFL have a
couple of games where it gets away from them because
(09:05):
you're still getting to where you want to be when
you're doing this thing full strength. That's what happened. They
may everybody's panicking over this. The two best teams on
their schedule might be the two teams they just played,
and the Seahawks are really good. And I think quietly,
we're gonna find out that these two teams, Rams and
the Seahawks are really good. It's a devision I never
(09:27):
thought going in. This is a thirteen and fourteen they
have three losses. I think they can get to eleven
and six ten seven, get in the playoffs. That's I
think they feel like they're gonna be better than that,
but I think that is a very realistic goal for
this thing.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Let's look back at some of the stuff that they
did do right in the first half, because let's go
to Week one. Travis Etn coming out of the gate
looking amazing, and as much as Liam Cohen talked about
establishing the run, we saw that right out of the gate.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Obviously, with what he was.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Able to do running the football and just I think
one of his career days he had a seventy one
yard run in that game against the Panthers, and just
talent across the board from the running game that we
hadn't seen in a while, even Baseil.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Twoton as well.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Didn't they go for two hundred on the ground in
this game? I think they did.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I mean it was kind of set the tone for
what they wanted to be this season. You know a
lot of people maybe on the outside that aren't in
it every day, thought, oh it's Liam Cohen, They're.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Gonna throw it around. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
This is the bread and butter of what the Jaguars
need to be to be successful offensively, and they really
set the tone on the offensive line and then atn
breaking free with some big runs and did it all
day long.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Job.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Yeah, I played two very very good defensive lines going
into the by which is why you didn't see this
as much. Passing game has to start working better to
spread it a little bit and allow this to happen off.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
All right, it's jump head to Week three. We saw
the Texans game.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Obviously, after their loss to the Bengals, they come back,
they want to play well against a division opponent and
Brian Thomas Junior's catch at this point when we had
been talking about him not being able to come down
with the football, his struggles.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
This was a momentous play.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
It set up the game winning touchdown and the trust
to see Crev Lawrence check out of the run play,
find Brian Thomas Junior there across the middle, trust him
to go get it and setting up this play was huge.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Made to see more. Yeah, I mean, but it does
show that when it's there, there's dynamic plays to be
made in this offense. They just have to get to
this more clear. I mean it goes are saying you
need more forty five yard passes from Brian Thomas receptions
(11:40):
from BTJ.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Yeah, and that capped off a tough day because he
brought the ball bunch in that game and really kind
of told you everything about what he was going through
when he made the catch and then the running he
threw the football.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Against the wall. He was just so overcome with the
emotion there to set.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Up the game winner and then the ending of this
game as well.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Will give some love to the defense because I'll obviously
tons of takeaways early in the season from this team
and they've gotten away from it in the past.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Couple of games.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
But Josh Heinz Allen get after the quarterback and then
Antonio Johnson interception at the end of the Texans game
to kind of seal it when the Texans looked like
they were trying to get something in the last you know,
seconds of this game, trying to try to tie it
up or win it, and Josh hens Allen play Josh
heines Allen's play.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Yeah, we need to see more of this too. John
They've had close calls in the pass rush game. This
was one that secured the bag, if you will, at
the end of the game. But that's really been hasn't
been a lot of that consistently this year in the
past rush game they've been close to him't been able
to get to the quarterback a whole lot, especially Jah.
(12:45):
So that was a big play in a big moment
to get there and affect the play and heads up
play on the back end to catch it.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
Yeah. I think I think you'll see the defense get
back to more of this once Trayvon gets sure going again.
Don't overlook this game as a big game. I get
the Texans are three and four, but they'd be four
and three. They gotten this one right and It's been
(13:13):
easy to overlook them because the cults are so hot.
But this game is going to end up in the
second half the season. I think people looking back on
and going, I'm glad we got them because they think
they're I think they're still a factor.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
I think they are too, especially after their win against
the forty nine ers yesterday. Look, I had the Week
four Parker Washington punt return touchdown. The momentum shift that
felt in that game. We talked all week.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
You know, the.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Jaguars haven't played well in these on the West Coast,
haven't won in California in a.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
While, and this felt like a.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Shift at this point in the game. I remember in
the press box, John, we were kind of watching it
go down and it was huge. It was huge.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
It's what they didn't have. I mean, I got one
called back in London. I don't know if they'd made
the same impact that this one did. But when your
offense is struggle a little bit, and they have at times,
you need big plays from elsewhere. They were getting them early,
you know, turnovers and big plays and cetra teams. Again,
(14:14):
they probably need one or two of these coming down
the stretch to turn a couple of games.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
You know, when the offense is struggling dropping the ball
and not running it, and maybe the defense is playing
pretty well. Special teams they can contribute to. And we've
seen Parker do this now twice in his career that
counted one in London this year didn't count. And both returns,
by the way, are on deep punts that give him
space in front of him.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
He makes a man miss, finds a seam and he's
got the ability to take at the distance. And let's
see some more of this as we move along.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Momentum changers. We love that.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
And then the ending of this game in Week four
as well, because a huge game for Eric Armstead, going
back to the team he used to play for, coming
up with the stripsack at the end of the game,
huge ceiling.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
It shutting off any potential comeback for the forty nine.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Leading the team in sacks this year, I mean, yeah,
so what three three and a half for him and
moving back to his more natural position inside and making
the impact against his old team.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
It was a big week for him, certainly. Do yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
We need to see more big pass rush in big
moments and need to get leads to set up this
kind of situation.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
We have the ability to do that for sure.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
And then the final one for us is gonna be
Devin Lloyd, who had a tremendous start to this season
and I couldn't have made a bigger play for himself
on Monday Night Football against the Chiefs of Pick six
going back ninety nine yards here, and just also the
team hustling down to block form some of the big
guys as well. So it's a full team effort here.
(15:43):
But just that was kind of the defense as a
whole fell like play in that moment.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
Yeah, when you have seasons like this and again this
is a season where you're trying to get out of
four and thirteen close to what you wanna be. Uh,
you're not gonna be dominant in those seasons usually because
you're turning around a team this four and thirteen. So
there's gonna be plays. If you reach your goals, there's
gonna be plays you look back and say we got
(16:10):
one there that maybe we don't without a big play.
This has a chance to be one of those plays
that you look back on in five or six years
and say that's one of the ones that helped get
started at a huge part.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
No doubt, ninety nine yards against Mahomes, a quarterback they
haven't beaten before, and Devin Lloyd, a guy who had
struggled in his first three years, finding his legs defensively
this year. That is a huge play against a perennial
powerhouse on Monday night football.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Doesn't get much bigger.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Than that A moment in primetime. We love to see that.
Stay with us on jagxam. After the break, we'll give
you our hot takes for the second half of the season.
Jag Zam Hot Takes Today, brought to you by Higher
House Subs. I don't know how boiling of a hot
take they're gonna be. Mine's a pretty hot take. I'll
say that.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
We don't have subst hot Well, John, start us off.
What's your hot takeaway?
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Now I'm drawing a blank and I was told back
to basics, back to basics, back to contention.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Contention.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
By this, I mean they have to get back to
what they were doing early in the season. If they
do that, we saw the highlights. They can be a
team that runs the ball well. Uh, they can be
a team that plays efficiently, and they can be a
team that stops to run defensively. If you do that,
you give yourself a chance for takeaways. I don't necessarily
(17:44):
they're gonna be I don't necessarily think they're going to
be a team that beats really good teams by double digits.
I think, uh, you know, the Chargers are coming up,
the Broncos are coming up, some really good teams. You
have the Colts twice. They can get a few of
those playing the way I'm talking about and then get
the gettable ones. If they play the way they've shown
as they can play, can they get back to that?
(18:05):
That's we're going to start finding out on Sunday, which
is a huge game on Sunday, by the way, against
the Raiders.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
Big, massive, big gotta get going in the second half
the right way, and four the next five are on
the road, by the way, well, the road home, neutral,
wherever it is. You have eighteen penalties in the game,
it's not gonna matter too much. So they got to
get this one going if they can get and got
to kind of keep pace with Indy as well right
now until you get those head to head matchups later.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Something to consider.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
They do have a ton of divisional matchups the back
half of the season though, so that's in their favor.
But Indie's kind of a runaway train at this point,
so we won't get into that right now.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
JP, what is your hot tape for us?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Okay, stay with me here.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Nineteen sixty three, the Bronx Zoo in New York opened
in an exhibit called the Most Dangerous Animal in the World.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
And people would walk down a corridor and they look
through the gate and there was a mirror because it's you.
It's the humans, right, and you are the most dangerous
on the planet.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
If the Jaguars walking, they are the most dangerous animal
on the planet.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
They could hurt themselves. And that's what they've done.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
If they overcome that, they can hang with any team, Yes,
even the really good teams left on the schedule. They've
already beaten some really good teams. The Rams game got
away from them. Rams could be a Super Bowl team.
That's fine, but there's no team I don't think that's
just so markedly better on paper than the Jaguars if
(19:30):
they handle their business. So look yourselves in the mirror,
realize that it's you. That it's the toughest team left
on the schedule.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
The Jaguars JP's here to motivate. We should lend this
that little story to Leo to give to the team meeting.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
I liked it. It's dangerous animal in the world, dangerous yourself.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Danger I'm going hot take because i want this to happen,
so I'm gonna will it into existence. I think Travis
Hunt is gonna lead this team in touchdowns at the
end of the season. I want the focus to be
more now on Travis Hunter. I think they've experimented with
him on both sides of the football. At this point,
you need someone to catch the football, you need someone
to make plays. Travis Hunter's done.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
That for you.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
He's shown he's capable of doing that.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Give him more responsibility and let him do that for you,
because at this point, giving opportunities to other people that
aren't making those plays, give it to the guy that
can make the play for you.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
We're a those thirty minutes into the show and this
is the first Travis Hunter reference that we've had, which
is pretty remarkable considering that he did go over one
hundred out of that in the second half last or
two weeks ago now at Wembley, and it just feels
like you got to get your best player on the
field more both sides of the ball. Put them in
this guy, especially in a position to go perform and
(20:41):
when other people around him may or may not be
performing well.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
We were doing highlights and he didn't really have touchdown
highlights in the wins, and I'm with Kay, I think
it's going to change. I think he will be what
the offense starts running through in second half the season.
I'm fascinated to see what that's going to look.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Like because.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
It's a little unusual to have the offense run through
his position, which is a little bit of a slot position.
But he's too good not to at this point, and
he's been reliable. I'm not saying he has no drops.
He's caught the ball. His hands are really good. So
I think you're going to see Travis. You know, Travis
and Travis, you know, the two best offensive players so far.
(21:28):
Get Brenton back into that, and then you've got some
go to guys on offense.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
And think about if they would have hit some of
those passes to him early in the season, what we
would be talking about, especially nationally with Travis Hunter. He
would have a couple more touchdowns at least and some
big plays and big moments early and that you know
had the p I in that game against Cincinnati, right
So if those aren't there, if those are there he
has catches early, then it's a whole different narrative right
(21:53):
now about.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Hunter And I think a point to mention as well
is that this team has spread out all the touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
I think we five or six players have one touchdown.
A Hunter Long is leading your team with receiving touchdowns
at this point.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yeah, first two in his career of all things. But
it was just good for him.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Those are great that the Jags have those touchdowns, kai
but happy for them. But they need wide receivers in
there to make places.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
Hunter Long did not have Hunter Long in that preseason prediction.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
As the first touchdown as well, and leading we look
at the buye so say with us, We'll tell you
what's coming up the rest of the week. Here is
to prepare for the Raiders game on Sunday. T Exam
brought to you by mister Chubby's Cheer on your Jaguars
as they traveled to Las Vegas to take on the
Raiders this Sunday at the official away game watch party
that's taking place at mister Chubby's West Side location, JP,
(22:43):
youre going to be there, Well, I'll be here.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
We got Jaguars and Postgame, the Public's tailgate show and
all the things.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Maybe you'll get some mister chubbies delivered.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Maybe the move maybe today because they you know, Monday
Jaguars Happy Hour coming up four to six each Monday
on tonight.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I am Jaguars dot Com and Jaguars YouTube.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
I just found out that they had a west Side location.
I thought they were d the Beach. West Side is
closer to me, and for people that have done their
food's insanely good.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, they really don't have to pay us to say it.
It's true.
Speaker 5 (23:15):
I might go over to the Westside.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Those ub style wings love that.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
And then I think we're supposed to have a happy
Hour Monday later in the season from the Beach location,
which is always.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Live on location. Yeah, we love that. Get the face.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
We're working on the deats right now.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
We're on the deats. Good to know. Well, we're working
on the deats for this week. We're back in action.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Some of the schedules similar, some of it's a little
bit different. We'll hear from Liam Cohen a little bit
later on today. I'm looking to see here to hear
about some of the injuries on the defensive side of
the FOOTBA. Obviously, Trayvon Walker has been back playing, but
hopefully I think he's getting potentially a different cast on
his hands. We'll be able to use his hands a
little bit more during the past rush. And then also
hoping to get an update on Devin Lloyd. We haven't
(23:53):
heard about that just yet, have we?
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Well I have, and I mean that's and they may
not even tell you anything today with that. It's sure
of those lists see how the injury report happens as
the week goes along. But that the calf thing, you
don't want that to linger because that leads to other
things and can just stay that handstring that whole area.
I gotta nip that in the button if there's any
issue at all. I think I'd said about another week,
(24:15):
But this is what the bie week does a lot
of times, you know, this is this has been a
banged up team, John and those little those little bumps
and bruises that happen for some other guys too. Okay,
they've got ten games to go. This should be as
fresh as they'll be the rest of the season.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Yeah, they've been fortunate in one sense and that these
injuries are not season ending. But you also you also
throw Brenton Strange into that and mix and you're talking Strange, Walker,
and Lloyd. I could argue those are three of your
top five guys who have been out, out or limited.
You can overcome injuries core guys, which those guys are.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
They need them back, They get back soon. We'll hear
from coaching and some players as well later today.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
We'll be back with you here on Jagsam on Wednesday
to giving an update on what's going on this week.
