How to Raise Rich Kids Without Spoiling Them with Sarah Megginson

Want to raise kids who feel confident with money, save with purpose, and make smart choices on their own?

In this episode of Perth Property Insider, Sarah Megginson from Finder joins us to share how parents can teach kids about money, saving, and investing from an early age.

Sarah wrote How to Raise Rich Kids. In this episode you’ll learn all about giving your kids the skills and mindset to build security, freedom, and choice (even if you’re not wealthy yourself).

The truth is, your kids are forming money beliefs right now, from watching you.

Which means that whatever you haven't sorted out from your own childhood gets passed down to them.

The good news is small changes can have a big impact. Sarah shares the exact systems she uses with her own kids - and they're simpler than you might think.

In this episode, you'll discover:

✅The age kids start forming money beliefs (it's earlier than most parents think)
✅The signed contract that turned a laptop into a two-year money lesson
✅How to teach kids the difference between wants and needs
✅Why Sarah pays pocket money in cash, never into a bank account
✅The simple system that gets kids helping without nagging… PLUS how to fix whinging
✅The one weekly habit her family cut to fund a Disneyland trip
✅A grocery shopping skill her kids mastered that most adults don't learn until their twenties
✅How to introduce kids to property investing, tenants, and rent without overwhelming them
