Easter isn’t quiet… and resurrection is anything but subtle.

In this special Divine Shenanigans bonus episode, we’re talking about the kind of hope that doesn’t break under pressure. The kind that survives Friday, waits through Saturday, and shows up loud on Sunday.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a heavy season—grieving, overwhelmed, dealing with family tension, or wondering if anything is actually changing—this episode is for you.

We’re diving into:

✨ Why hope isn’t fragile
🪨 How the stone moved anyway (even when no one expected it)
💔 Why your worst day isn’t the final word
🔊 And how grace is louder than death

With real-life stories, honest encouragement, Scripture, and practical ways to live this out in both good seasons and hard ones… this episode is a reminder that God is still moving—even when you can’t see it yet.

SPEAKER_02 (00:00):
It's division elegance, holy hilarity where
grace meets grit and sanctifiedclarity with Britain on the mic
and truth in her hands.
She's breaking down the Biblewith laughter and a plan.
It's divine.

(00:21):
Oh, it's divine shenanigans.

SPEAKER_00 (00:28):
Hey y'all, welcome back to Divine Shenanigans where
we are learning, laughing, andloving Jesus one messy, grace
filled moment at a time.
And today we are not doing acalm, quiet devotional.
We are not doing a let's justreflect peacefully moment.
No, today we're stepping intosomething louder than that.

(00:51):
Because Easter is not subtle.
It's not gentle, it's notpolite.
Easter is God saying, I'm notdone.
This isn't over.
Watch what I do next.
So if you showed up todayfeeling a little tired, a little
hopeful, or honestly, a littleskeptical, you're in the right

(01:12):
place.
Because we're going to talkabout a kind of hope that
doesn't break under pressure.
We've heard the Easter story somany times that sometimes it
loses its weight.
We skip straight to he is risenand we miss the shock of it.
Because nobody that morning wasexpecting resurrection.

(01:34):
Nobody showed up thinking, ohyeah, today is the miracle day.
They showed up expecting griefand found glory.
Let's ground ourselves again inMatthew 28, 5 and 6.
Do not be afraid.
He is not here.
He is risen just as he said.

(01:54):
Let's sit with that for asecond.
Just as he said.
That means God didn't change hismind, God didn't forget his
promise, God didn't lose controlin the middle.
Even when it looked likeeverything had gone wrong, God
was still on schedule.
So let me take you back to thatpersonal season of mine.

(02:16):
Because it wasn't dramatic.
And honestly, those are thehardest seasons.
Because if something big iswrong, you know how to respond.
But this was more like quietburnout, low-level
discouragement, and a weird mixof I love God and I'm tired
though.
Have you ever had that?
Where you're like, I'm notquitting, but I would like a nap

(02:38):
and a small miracle.
And I kept thinking, if God isworking, why does it feel so
uneventful?
Like I expected a breakthroughmoment, a clear answer, a
spiritual competti canon, butinstead, I got slow change.
Small piece.
Tiny shifts I almost missed.

(03:00):
And looking back now, that wasthe stone movie.
Sometimes we miss resurrectionbecause we're looking for
fireworks.
And God is doing foundationwork.
Let's go a little bit deeperhere.
The stone wasn't moved forJesus.
Jesus didn't need help gettingout.

(03:21):
The stone was moved so we couldsee in.
God doesn't just do miracles forpower, He does them for
revelation.
So what if the thing you'rewaiting on, the breakthrough
you're praying for, the answeryou're stressing about, is
already in motion.
You just haven't seen it yet.

(03:43):
When you're in a sealed tombseason, stop assuming nothing is
happening.
Just because you don't seemovement doesn't mean there
isn't any.
Shift your question.
Instead of why isn't thischanging, ask God, where are you
already moving?
Look for a small piece ofevidence.

(04:05):
A piece where panic used to be.
Strength where you used tospiral.
A conversation opening up.
That's resurrection, startingquietly.
We've all been taught to treathope like it's delicate.
Like, don't get your hopes up.
But Easter says, get your hopesup anyway, because real hope has

(04:27):
already survived worse than whatyou're facing.
Let me share a few moments fromthis community.
One person said, my anxietydidn't disappear, but it doesn't
control me like it used to.
Another shared, I prayed forchange in my family for years,
and nothing happened until itslowly did.

(04:50):
And this one, right here.
I thought I had lost myselfcompletely, and now I'm slowly
becoming someone new.
Hope is an instant, flashy, oralways emotional.
Sometimes hope is choosing tobelieve again tomorrow.
Now let's stay here for a littlebit longer.

(05:11):
Because some of you are still inFriday, and Friday's heavy,
Friday's confusing, Friday makesyou question everything.
Friday says it didn't work out.
That prayer wasn't answered.
This hurts more than I expected.
But Easter says that wasn't theending.
That was the middle.

(05:31):
When life feels like it stoppedon the worst day, don't rush
yourself.
Even Jesus had a Saturday.
Stay connected.
Isolation makes Friday feelpermanent.
Hold on to truth, not justfeelings.
Feelings say it's over.
Truth says, just wait forSunday.

(05:53):
Let's talk about grace for asecond, because we often think
grace is soft, but grace isactually powerful.
Grace is what defeated sin, overcame death, restored what
was broken.
Grace didn't whisper over yourlife, it declared freedom.

(06:13):
So if you were carrying shame, regret, I should have known
better thoughts.
Easter says, this is not yourfinal identity.
Grace is louder than your past.
So let's go deeper into reallife.
I told you we were going deep onthis one.
When you're grieving, let griefexist without labeling it as

(06:38):
failure.
Invite God into the pain insteadof hiding it.
Look for living moments in themiddle of loss.
Resurrection doesn't erasegrief.
It meets you in it.
When family is hard.
Choose grace even when it's notreturned.
Set boundaries without guilt.

(07:00):
Pray for change.
But release control of thetiming.
God can move stones.
You can't.
So when you're strugglinginternally with something, speak
truth out loud, even if it feelsweird, I know it does.
Take one small step instead ofwaiting for motivation.
Remind yourself, this is not theend.

(07:22):
And then when life is good, youcelebrate without guilt.
Share your testimony.
Stay grounded in gratitude.
Resurrection is meant to becelebrated.
That brings us to today's songof the day.
It's called The Stone RolledAway by myself, Brynn Elise

(07:43):
Music.
And this one this one carriesthe whole message of today.
It's about sealed placesopening, silent seasons
shifting, and the moment hopebecomes real again.
The full version will play atthe end of the episode, so
please stick around.
The full lyric video is onBrandy Lee's Music on YouTube.

(08:06):
It's also streaming everywhere.
So check it out.
I hope you enjoy it.
Alright, let's take a moment topray together.
Jesus, thank you that you didn'tstay in the grave.
Thank you that you didn't leaveus in the dark.
Thank you that even when wedon't see it, you are still

(08:26):
moving.
For the person who feels stuck, remind them that movement is
happening.
For the one grieving, wrap themin peace that doesn't have to
make sense yet.
For the one struggling withfamily, relationships, or
tension, bring healing in waysonly you can.

(08:48):
And for all of us, help us trustyou in the middle.
Help us believe again.
Help us remember the stone hasalready been moved.
That hope is alive.
That grace is louder.
And you are not finished.
We love you, we trust you.

(09:08):
In Jesus' name.
Amen.
Now if you take nothing elsefrom today's episode, I want you
to take this.
God is not quietly giving upyour story.
He is actively rewriting it.
Even now, even here, even in theplaces you've already labeled

(09:29):
over.
And if this week gets heavy, ifyou start to spiral, if you feel
like you're back in Fridayagain, come back here.
There is always a seat for youat Divine Shenanigans.
We're not perfect, we're notfinished, but we are held.
And remember, a stone movedaway.

(09:49):
Hope isn't fragile.
The worst day wasn't the finalword.
And grace is louder than death.
Happy Easter, my friend.
He is risen, and that changeseverything.
Now take a deep breath and letthe stone rolled away carry you
into that truth.
God bless y'all.

SPEAKER_01 (10:17):
I hope buried deep a loved ones lay.
But even death can't hold theflame.
Cause heaven never walks away.

(10:38):
Three days of silence.
A breath, a shift, world break.
