This week we are talking to Coral Movasseli and we are looking at Endometriosis, what it is, how is it diagnosed, how can we manage the condition, what support we should seek and so much more!
Coral is the founder of The Coral's Reef, a platform to help others with endometriosis and adenomyosis take greater ownership by sharing her journey and holistic approach to managing chronic women’s diseases. Through her own transformative experience of dramatically improving her quality of life, she distills key scientific insights, life-changing hacks, and critical resources to help others navigate their journey. The platform is for those living with these chronic conditions, or simply curious to learn more.
Having faced the isolation and information gaps that often come with chronic illness, Coral set out to be part of the solution. She’s dedicated thousands of hours to better understanding endometriosis and adenomyosis—diving into scientific research, meeting with top medical professionals, taking health science classes, and experimenting with alternative approaches. With over 20 years of living a deeply holistic lifestyle and her proverbial 10,000+ hours in health and wellness, she brings her informed, compassionate, and practical perspective to help others own their condition before it owns them.
Coral hails from the tech sector - having launched digital products, and founded software organizations in London and Toronto, most recently in Generative AI. She grew her first business across Ireland by equipping thousands of women access careers in the tech sector and making strides in gender equity. Previously, she led digital innovation at Accenture's global innovation lab and began her career as a research analyst for Canada’s foreign office.
Coral is a Hansard Scholar, and holds a MSc from the London School of Economics and an Honours BSc. from the University of Ottawa. She is the proud recipient of the Advocate of the Year by Women in IT and the Women of Influence by Irish Women's Award. When she’s not busy driving change, Coral can be found fermenting sauerkraut, shaping pottery vases, or tending to her veggie garden.
