Nashville's high school football scene is gearing up for an electrifying 2025 season, filled with challenging schedules, new coaching eras, and a plethora of talented players.

At the forefront of the tough schedules is Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA), whose slate is highlighted as one of the hardest in the Nashville area. However, another team that stands out is East Nashville. Despite moving down from Class 3A to 2A, the Eagles are set to face some of the toughest competition around. Their season kicks off with a road game against Class 6A Collierville on August 23, followed by a Metro Nashville battle with Antioch on August 29. The Eagles will then travel to Hillsboro and Beech before returning home to face Springfield on September 18. Their region play may seem less daunting, but the season finale against East Robertson on October 30 is expected to decide the region title[1].

Montgomery Bell Academy (MBA) is another team to watch, especially as they enter the first season under new coach Chris Chauvin. After back-to-back down years, MBA is looking to turn things around. Their season begins at home against Pearl-Cohn and Hamilton, followed by a road game at Franklin Road Academy (FRA). The Big Red's region games are always tough, and this year is no exception. Notable matchups include games against Christian Brothers, Knoxville Catholic, Baylor, CPA, Father Ryan, and a season-ending road game at Ensworth[1].

The 2025 season also marks a time of transition and renewal for several teams. New coaching eras and fresh talent are set to make a significant impact. For instance, Lipscomb Academy's Antonio Carter Jr., a defensive lineman, is one of the top football recruits in Tennessee for 2025, highlighting the depth of talent in the area[2].

Twelve Tennessee high school football programs, including some from the Nashville area, have received grants from the NFL's Tennessee Titans, further boosting the resources and morale of these teams as they prepare for the upcoming season[5].

With tough schedules, new coaching eras, and rising stars, the 2025 high school football season in Nashville promises to be an unforgettable year filled with excitement and competition. Stay tuned for what is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling seasons in recent memory[3][4].
