within that radius, Vincent realizes that the place they're planning
to rob isn't in that area. What they really wanted
to know was who the agents are that are stalking them.
With this information Nate gave him, Neil now knows the
(10:29):
kind of agent he's facing, not just any guy, a
man who has taken down large groups, a robbery and
homicide lieutenant, a marine, in conclusion, the perfect definition of justice.
Having Neil's exact location and watching him discreetly, Vincent decided
(10:49):
to get off the helicopter and stock him in a
patrol car. After chasing him through the Los Angeles freeways
for a while, he managed to make him stop. Both
knowing each other but not directly, decided to have a
cup of coffee and talk a little about their matters.
And as you can see, there are no gunshots, no chases,
(11:11):
just two men, two worlds colliding, sharing a simple coffee.
Vincent a detective obsessed with justice, and Neil, a professional
thief who lives by his own rule. Both have been following, studying,
and anticipating each other, and finally they are face to face.
(11:33):
Minutes after Vincent finished talking to Neil, the team disappeared completely.
There was no trace of their location. Neil became irascible
upon entering the airport and losing the signal. All of
this had one motive. The next day the bank robbery
would take place, so Chris, Scharito, and Tejo went to
(11:53):
program the bank's cameras and alarms. The next day, Van Sant,
nervous and worried about his safety, met with the men
who could help him get rid of Neil and his group,
Wayne Grove. The guys met moments before the robbery to
make everything clear, but at that moment, Teho told Neil
that the police were on him and he wouldn't be
(12:15):
able to help during the escape. Therefore, the team was
left without a driver, but coincidentally, they met at the
coffee shop where bernand Chorito's former prison maid worked. So
without a driver and a miserable job, Brindan agreed to
work with Neil at the time of the robbery, feeling
that this opportunity could change both his and his wife's life,
(12:38):
and minutes later the heist began. Upon arriving at the
bank and entering very casually and discreetly, the team put
on their ski masks. Chris immobilized one of the police
officers alongside Cherto, and at that moment, with security and
the people under control, Neil asked for the key to
where the money was and they immediately started taking everything
(13:00):
out in bags, but at that moment, a snitch informed
Vincent's team that the National Bank was being robbed, so
they got ready immediately. Both Cherito and Neil exited through
the front door without any problem loaded the money into
the car where Brindon was, but at that moment, Chris
realized the police were on them, so he opened fire
(13:21):
and a shootout began in the middle of the street.
As they moved forward a bit in the car and
it became completely wrecked. Brindan was hit by a bullet,
losing his life and leaving the others stranded in the
middle of the streets of Los Angeles, and after shooting
for several minutes, hitting a few police officers and completely
destroying the area, Chris was hit by gunfire, so Neil
(13:43):
wasn't going to leave him behind. At that moment, Vincent
went after them, but they simply managed to escape, But
after moving forward a bit, Vincent came face to face
with Tcharto, and with a little girl in his arms,
Vincent had to take the risk and shoot managed to
hit and kill him. After leaving Chris with the doctor
(14:03):
and suspecting that Treyhoe was the one who betrayed them.
Neil went to his house but found out that Wengrold
had tortured him extracting the robbery information and giving it
to the person responsible for alerting the police, and after
doing Treyhoe a favor, Neil was on borrowed time to escape,
but his hatred didn't let him leave so quickly, so
(14:24):
first he went to Van Sand's house to settle unfinished business.
On the other hand, Vincent managed to find the snitch
who informed them about the robbery, who gave him Wengold's information,
allowing him to deduce that Neil's next victim would be Wengrold.
The next day, Neil went to Eddie's house to clear
things up, and after a heated argument, Neil gave him
(14:46):
two options, leave him and disappear forever, or disappear together
and leave the story behind. Eddie decided to stay by
his side and leave that same night on an urgent
flight arranged by Nate.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
On the other hand, after being completely involved in the
robbery matter, Vincent found out that his wife was cheating
on him with another man, so he simply took what
was most precious to him and left without giving any explanation.
That same night, Charlene was blackmailed by the police and
by Allan All to set a trap for Chris, and
with no choice since it was either that or they'd
(15:19):
take her son away, she made Chris come to where
she was, but she simply couldn't betray him, and with
a simple signal, she made it clear that he had
to leave. Vincent, losing hope more and More, decided to
leave the office frustrated and give everything up for lost.
But when he arrived at the hotel where his stepdaughter was,
he realized she had tried to destroy herself, so he
(15:40):
had to take her immediately to the emergency room. There
he ran into Justine and in the end they made amends. Neil,
having promised Eddie that they were finally going to live
a peaceful and trouble free life before leaving, decided to
go to the hotel where Wayne Grove was. Believing he
had time, he left Eddie in the car, unaware that
the hotel would full of police, even the man you
(16:02):
see here as a former detective from the Los Angeles
Police Department who served as a technical adviser on the film.
He went in and found Wayne Grove's room, managing to
take revenge and get rid of the man he hated
so much. But what he didn't know was that this
thirst for revenge would cost him his freedom. The police
arrived immediately. Neil managed to get out of the hotel,
(16:22):
but when he got to the car and saw Vincent
coming toward him, he acted as he had previously said, silently,
with just looks, Neil chose what had shaped him for
so many years, so he decided to escape and leave
the woman. After running up the airstrip and being chased
by Vincent to the end, they were face to face,
knowing that one of them would die. After a moment
(16:43):
of silence and stealth, the light from one of the
planes reflected Neil's shadow, giving Vincent time to react and
finally take him down, putting an end to a rivalry
that was more similar than they had imagined. More videos
