Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, they're beautiful people. This is miss Unapologetic coming at
you with another episode of keeping it Real. Now, welcome back.
I missed you, and I owe you a little apology.
Not that I'm really sorry for ghosting you. These past
two weeks, life's been throwing me some curve balls. I
was sick and dealing with some personal stuff. But just

(00:25):
like a true Libra, I'm back and ready to keep pushing. Seriously,
if you've ever dealt with a Libra, you know we
keep you on your toes like a cat on a roomba.
So if you're new here or just need a reminder,
to know us is to love us, and believe me,
it's a process. In our younger years, we're all humble

(00:46):
and sweet, but as we age, we get wiser, more balanced,
and we stop taking crap from anyone. My friends say
I'm mean now, Oh no, honey, I've just leveled up.
I've got boundaries, and you've got one shot to disrespect
me before I unleash my inner Libra. Trust me, it's
like trying to tame a wild horse. Good luck with that.

(01:10):
Let's talk about us Libras for a bit. If you
know one, you know we're all about balance and harmony.
We're like the human embodiment of the scale, always weighing
things out, seeking peace, but still ready to throw hands
if necessary. Libras are all about fairness, and we just
can't stand it when things are out of whack. That
might make us seem indecisive sometimes, but it's just because

(01:33):
we're carefully considering all sides before making a move. Now,
as you get older, you start to get this whole
balancing act down to a science. You grow wiser, you
learn from your mistakes, and you start to find that
sweet spot between humility and self respect. Honestly, it's a
beautiful thing to see a Libra age. We become more

(01:55):
zen but also more resolute. We stop taking crap from anyone,
and trust me, that isn't being mean. It's called having boundaries.
Speaking of boundaries, I've got to tell you I've got
mine on lock now. Before I used to bend over
backward trying to please everyone. But no more. You get
one shot to disrespect me and then it's over. I'm

(02:17):
unleashing my inner diva, my fierce Libra energy. Imagine trying
to tame a wild horse. Yeah, it's pretty much like that.
So good luck to anyone who tries. All right, enough
about us Libras for now. Next, let's move on to
the season at hand, Sagittarius. Shout out to my oldest
daughter who's turning a year older on December eleventh. Will

(02:38):
chat about the adventures of raising a Sagittarius child. Next.
It's Sagittarius season, y'all, and I have to give a
huge shout out to my oldest daughter, whose birthday is
on December eleventh. Happy early birthday, baby girl. Now, let
me tell you, raising a Sagittarius is an adventure in itself.
They're like tiny tornadoeswar ling around with so much energy

(03:01):
and determination. Independent, absolutely strong willed. You better believe it.
Sagittarians are natural born leaders, filled with this fire and
drive that can light up an entire room. But let's
be real, they can also roast your feelings like a
marshmallow at a campfire with their blunt honesty. They don't

(03:22):
sugarcoat anything, and while that can be refreshing, it's also
a little dangerous. They'll tell you how it is, even
if it stings a bit. But that's one of the
things I love most about them. They keep it real,
no filter as a Libra mom, it's been challenging at
times to find the balance between giving her the freedom

(03:43):
she craves and setting boundaries to ensure she doesn't run wild.
But that's the beauty of it, figuring out that push
and pull, learning how to navigate this fiery energy while
maintaining a sense of calm and order. Here's to Sagittarians everywhere,
especially my fears independent and brutally honest daughter. Keep leading,

(04:10):
keep shining, and keep being unapologetically you much love from
your Libra mom who's always trying to keep the scales balanced. Now,
while we're talking about zodiac signs, let's get into the
subject of scorpios, specifically my little scorpio at home. Oh yes,
I'm also the proud mom of a scorpio. Pray for

(04:30):
me because that's like having a pet dragon. I swear
scorpios are incredible, but let me tell you they come
with their own set of challenges. If you have ever
met a scorpio, you know they are intense, passionate and
can have quite the fiery temperament. Keeping up with their
moods and energy, it's no easy task. One moment they're

(04:50):
chill and the next you're dealing with a whirlwind of emotions.
It's like living with a mini volcano. Now imagine trying
to tame that energy. It's not for the faint hearted.
Some days it feels like I'm trying to keep a
pet dragon under control. One minute they're breathing fire, the
next they're giving you the cold shoulder. It's a roller coaster,

(05:13):
but it's one that I wouldn't trade for anything. My
little scorpio keeps things interesting, to say the least. And
if you think a Libra mom and a Scorpio child
sounds like a recipe for chaos, well you're not entirely wrong.
But that's family life. It's messy, it's unpredictable, and it's
filled with love. So sending out love to all my

(05:35):
fellow moms dealing with a scorpio at home. Stay strong
and keep your dragon tamed one day at a time.
Before I wrap up, I just want to take a
moment to thank everyone who checked in on me while
I was mia. Seriously, your messages and good vibes warmed
my cold Libra heart. It's amazing to feel such a
strong sense of community, and I truly appreciate each and

(05:58):
every one of you who took the time to reach out.
Your support means the world to me. Now let's talk
about something super exciting. My book is coming out soon
and I couldn't be more thrilled to share it with
you all. It's called He's My Son, and it's been
a labor of love writing. It has been a journey,

(06:20):
to say the least, but it's one I'm so proud of.
I have to give a special shout out to my
loyal crew for helping me pick out the cover. You know,
I'm indecisive, classic libremove. I couldn't decide between Artsy and
I just threw some paint at the wall. But with
your help, we nailed it. Seriously. Thank you for your

(06:41):
input and for putting up with my endless back and forth.
So brace yourselves because He's My Son is dropping soon.
I can't wait for you to read it and let
me know what you think. And remember, if you have
any thoughts or feedback, feel free to send me a message.
Your opinions matter to me big time. All right, beautiful people,

(07:04):
that's a wrap for today's episode. Let's quickly recap the highlights.
We kick things off by talking about us libras, our
quest for balance, our boundaries, and how we level up
with AIDS. Then we dived into the adventures of raising
a Sagittarius, my oldest daughter, who, by the way, is

(07:24):
celebrating her birthday on December eleventh. We also touched on
the fiery world of scorpios, specifically my little one who
keeps me on my toes. Remember life's too short to
be anything but fabulous and balanced. Embrace your inner diva,
set those boundaries, and live unapologetically. Don't forget to check

(07:48):
the show notes for any links or articles mentioned in
today's episode. I miss Unapologetic and you've been listening to
Keeping It Real. Now until next time, stay fabulous and
keep it Real. P
