Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, they're beautiful people. This is Misunapologetic, your host for
the Keeping It Real Now Podcast. Happy New Year, and
welcome back. I am strutting into this new year ready
to be the best version of myself, and I want
to bring you all along for that journey. That's right,
no apologies for my success here, folks. Now, let me
start by asking you do you believe in New Year's resolutions?

(00:26):
Because honestly, some of y'all set these outrageous goals that
you know you'll never reach, like trying to train for
a marathon after binging on holiday cookies. So let's toss
those resolutions out the window and replace them with some
good old fashioned manifestation. We'll talk about what it means
to work toward our dreams and turn them into reality.

(00:49):
It's time to really get into this idea of New
Year's resolutions. So many people out there start the year
with these grand plans to completely overhaul their lives. Don't
get me wrong, I love ambition, but let's be real.
How many of those ambitious plans actually make it past
January exactly? Some of y'all are planning to run a
marathon when you're still out of breath walking up the stairs.

(01:10):
Unrealistic goals, in my opinion, are just setting you up
for disappointment. So instead of setting yourself up for failure,
let's think about manifestation. If you can believe it, you
can achieve it. But hold up. This is not a
call to sit on the couch day dreaming. No, my
friend's manifestation requires action. You have to be willing to
roll up your sleeves and put in the work. You see,

(01:31):
room wasn't built in a day. We hear that phrase
all the time, but it's true. Those ancient romans didn't
have a magic wand they have to hustle just like us.
It's the same with your dreams. Think of manifestation as
setting a realistic goal with a plan on how to
achieve it. Maybe it's starting small, like walking a mile
before signing up for that marathon, or perhaps it's saving

(01:52):
a little money each week toward that dream vacation instead
of maxing out your credit card. The key is consistency
and effort. Small steps can lead to big achievements if
you keep at it. You've got to put in the
time and work to see those dreams come to life.
No magic carpets here, my friends, just a whole lot
of grind and hustle. It's time to replace those lofty

(02:13):
resolutions with actionable steps that bring us closer to our
true desires. Let's get to it all right now. Let's
get into something that's as important as starting this new
year with clear goals, and that's love. But before we
even talk about finding that special someone, we've got to
address something essential self love. That's right, beautiful people, you've

(02:34):
got to love yourself first. Seriously, how can you expect
someone else to truly cherish you if you don't even
cherish yourself. You've got to be your own biggest fan.
This brings me to the next point, focusing on what
you need versus what you want. You might want a
partner who looks like a movie star and has the
charisma of a rock star, but are those qualities really

(02:55):
fulfilling your deeper needs? Inner peace, respect, kindness, and emotional
support are just a few of the needs that should
top your lists. When you focus on your knees and
not just your wants, you become more attuned to what's
genuinely important for your well being. Let's have a little
fun here and talk about something that's happened to a

(03:15):
lot of us. The friend zone. Yeah, that dreaded friend zone,
where many a potential love story has gone to die.
But hold on, What if the love of your life
is right there in front of you, friend zoned and all.
Sometimes the person who's been beside you through thick and
thin is just waiting for you to open your eyes
and see them in a new light. Cue the dramatic
plot twist. So if you're manifesting love this year, make

(03:39):
sure you start with yourself. Love yourself enough to set
high standards, focus on genuine needs, and keep your heart
open to unexpected possibilities. You never know the romance you
seek might just be hiding in plain sight. And now
let's switch gears a bit and talk about fame and fortune.
We all know the high life comes with its fair
share of challenges. Not the least of weis, which is

(04:00):
dealing with negativity and haters. People love to throw shade,
whether out of jealousy or spite. But here's the key.
Use that negativity as motivation to succeed. Let their doubts
and criticism fuel your fire. It's easy to let negative
comments drag you down, but remember every great success story
has its critics. The more successful you are, the louder

(04:21):
than naysayers get. So why not turn those voices into
your personal cheer squad. They've given you front row seats
to their own show of insecurity while you're out here
making moves. Confidence in the face of adversity is more
than just holding your head high. It's about believing in
your past even when others can't see it. It's those

(04:41):
moments when you keep pushing forward despite the noise that
define your journey. Never let anyone tell you that you
can't do something. You are the master of your own destiny. Finally,
as we walk confidently into this new year, let's embrace
twenty twenty five with open arms. We're talking about peace,
good health, and prosperity. Let's make a pack here and
now to welcome only positive vibes and energy into our lives.

(05:04):
We deserve nothing less. Together, let's make this year one
for the books. Remember, the only drama we want is
in our podcast, not in our lives. So how about it?
Are you ready to take on this year with all
the confidence and positivity you can muster? I know I
am all right, beautiful people, Let's recap what we've covered today.
We started by tackling those notorious New Year's resolutions. Remember,

(05:26):
it's not about setting unrealistic goals, but manifesting what you
truly desire and putting in the work to achieve it.
No sitting on the couch and daydreaming. It's time to
roll up those sleeves. Next, we dove into the topic
of self love. You've got to love yourself first before
seeking love from others. Focusing on what you need rather

(05:46):
than just what you want can lead to more fulfilling relationships.
And hey, who knows, the love of your life might
just be that friend you've been overlooking. Then we talked
fame and fortune and using negativity as your fuel. Sometimes
haters are just the extra push you need to keep
going and prove them wrong their criticism turn it into
your motivation. So here's my call to action for you.

(06:09):
Let's embrace this new year with confidence, believe in yourself,
set those realistic, actionable goals, and let nothing stand in
your way. Together, we're ready to make this year one
for the books. This is Misunapologetic signing off from the
Keeping It Real Now Podcast. Don't forget to check the

(06:30):
Stay fabulous, stay focused, and until next time, keep it real.
